Name: Vladimir "Vlad" Zhurov

Appearance: Vladimir stands at an average height and weight. Originally, he once had extremely fair and smooth skin. He had short and shaggy black hair. However, when he was turned into a half-human half-animal, he lost his fair skin. It was replaced by light grey skin tone all over and it was pretty smooth. It also insulates the electricity he releases making him immune to be electrocuted/fried by lightning. But of course, he still has all four limbs, two arms, two legs. He had extremely dark brown eyes and had rectangular frames for his glasses. However it is mildly clouded, signalling that he was practically blind. This was because of the experiment. He could still see at most three feet in front of him before everything just blurs. He also has the tip of the electric eel as his tail. On his back to his tail is the elongated anal fin, a sort of excess skin that flaps around. He has gills on both sides of his neck. He normally wears button up shirts, cargo pants and combat boots.

Bio: Vladimir was a child of two normal people. To be honest, he never really grew up in Russia. His parents moved to America when they were young adults. Soon enough, they had good paying jobs and then he was born. He lived a normal life who had his eyes on the TV, comics, cartoons, anime, books and other stuff like that. He could not help but be impressed by electric-type people. It just looked really epic. But that was just him. He had a normal school life with a close but small circle of friends.

Soon enough, his parents had another child. It was Natalia. She was. unfortunately born with paralyzed legs. He had to wheel her everywhere mostly because his parents were both working and they didn't need a nanny yet. Vladimir didn't mind though. He loved his sister very much and cared for her. He wouldn't hesitate to do everything for his sister. He even took his friends to meet her since she was homeschooled (because of her disability) so she could have more friends.

However, one day, a serial killer zeroed into their house. While they were sleeping, the killer managed to break in and then murder both of his parents in their sleep. Note that Natalia sleeps within the same room as Vladimir. The killer then made his way to the kids' room. Vladimir woke up when the killer tried to get in. You see, their lock was more heavy duty. Well unfortunately, he just shot the knob and then got in. Vladimir could see that the killer had every intention to kill but the killer first headed for his sister.

In a fit of pure rage, he threw off his sheets, grabbed the lamp and then tried to smack the killer. However, his footsteps were too loud and alerted the killer. He was soon shot in the head and he blacked out. He woke up in a hospital soon after and after surgery to take out the bullet, he was told that his entire family died and he was lucky to have survived the shot. Police officers came in to ask what the killer looked like. Vladimir managed to blurt out some facial expressions but it was obvious that he was shaken up, traumatized and very much depressed.

When he was released by the hospital, he was immediately sent to the orphanage. He stopped school. This was when he was 15 so he didn't miss out on much. When he caught wind of the experiment, he left the orphanage and headed there. He thought that if he could have the powers of electricity using electric eels as his medium, maybe he could stop something like that ever happening again. He knew that he couldn't get his sister or his parents back but maybe... maybe he could prevent something like it. Little did he know that there was something else for him.

Personality: Vladimir has become a very cautious person. He became borderline paranoid thanks to his new found power but it wasn't very obvious to others since he managed to hide it very well. He didn't trust most people. However, after spending some time with others, he could let down his guard unless he feels something is wrong. But even if he doesn't trust people, he treats them with kindness. He can be helpful to strangers as well as long as they looked like they really needed it.

However, what he really did not ever like was being touched, at all on anywhere in his body. People who dared to grab his hands or arms, would meet a light shock, just like those joke buzzers, but it would make them let go of him. He would normally glare at them after that, as if warning them to back away. However, if one were to grow extremely close to him somehow, he would allow them to grab hold of him but he wouldn't look to comfortable in it.

Thanks to the experiments, it had affected his favorite food and how he could eat. He mostly eats fishes and crustaceans. However, unlike others, he could eat them raw and still find it delicious. He even ate various amphibians at times when he found some around and he felt hungry. He could still eat land animals but it was always cooked. Sometimes, he would head to a local lake and then catch his own feed, sometimes using normal means or sometimes catching them himself by swimming around and catching them.

Other: He can generate electricity, just like his animal of choice, but because of his size, he can generate a lot more electricity and thus, deadlier than the normal electric eel. He can also use this as something like a radar making so he can 'feel' people around him. Different people emit different electric waves in his perspective so he doesn't even need to wear glasses to 'see' (but he still does). It is also evident that when he swims, he is faster than a normal human and that he uses both legs and tail to be able to swim.

Name: Julia "Jules" Montmogery
Age: 15
Gender: Female

Appearance: Julia is below average height (5'0) and of average weight for that kind of height. She has smooth, a little pale skin. She had light brown hair that reached to her mid-back that is usually braided and then matching light brown eyes. She was actually flat chested but it only provided her a... cute, innocent little girl look. However, she had thicker hair on the upside of her arms up to her hands but doesn't extend to her fingers which had the same light brown color as her hair. It extends to the entirety of her back but it doesn't reach the nape of her neck. Then, she also grew a light brown monkey tail which she found really cool to have. Although she still is a girl so she wears a hoodie and jeans to hide the extra hair that she hand and then gloves to further improve her grip. She also wears rubber shoes.
Animal: Monkey

Bio: Julia was... well, she had a very shady childhood. Her father was a drug dealer while her mother was a pickpocket. She had no idea how exactly they met or how they even got along but to hell with it, she was born. She grew up without an education but could read and write very well. She was also taught how to pick pockets, pick locks, steal from stalls and do business with druggies. Well Julia was pretty smart despite not going to school and knew that taking these drugs would ultimately make her dependent on it and that would be really bad. She continued like this, making her pretty agile, silent and convincing. A young con artist was born.

She stole money, food, identities and other similarly important things. She never grew close to her parents. She became famous in the underground as not only the daughter of one of the most powerful drug lords out there but also as one of the youngest con artists out there. She was practically 9 back then. Because of her cute and innocent looking face, it was easy to get away with anything she does.

Fast forward to when she was 13 years old, her parents were caught and she was sent to juvenile hall. Because of her crimes, she was underaged but she were to stay there until she was 18 and then sent to court. She couldn't wait that damn long. She had managed to get away with two other teens once. They enjoyed two months of freedom thanks to Julia's various connections. However, the police managed to track them down and back to juvie they went. It was actually thought that Julia might end up in jail.

However she stayed at the teenage jail, albeit under more security. It was annoying to her really. They guarded her like she was out to drug someone or something like that. Recently, she saw a silver lining. The science experiment. They were taking someone from the juvie to experiment then set free. While others were hesitant to do it, Julia volunteered. If she was gonna rot in here and then in prison, then might as well get out and do something else. Even if she would die, it would be extremely fine. She was gonna die anyway so why not make an advance notice to death?

Well, she didn't die but she did get extra features. She had chosen the monkey to further improve her skills. Monkeys were known for their mischievousness and agility so she absolutely loved them. She got her animal and she overall enjoyed it, maybe more than the other kids.

Personality: Julia is a mischievous person. She was a typical pickpocket. She likes putting her hands inside pockets and taking things that doesn't belong to her. This was her hobby... no, her life. She really doesn't know what else to do since this was her entirety. This is one of the reasons she does it. Right now, she tries her best not to steal but hey, sometimes, you can't stop it that easily.

She is a mentally unstable kid. She doesn't know what is wrong or right. This was because of her misguided past. She actually needs guidance from someone who can put her in submission. She's a very prideful child and doesn't like being told what to do or what's wrong and right. But she will listen to you if you can catch her but this was hard for ordinary people because she's very agile. When you think you have her in your grasp, she was already a few feet away from you.

What she really needs are friends. She gets lonely easily but she doesn't want to admit it. When she gets lonely, she turns to her hobbies, stealing. It isn't easy to break through her but she would at least hear someone first out. (I'll show more in the RP)

Other: Her tail can support her whole weight so she can hang on a branch using it. She loves bananas. She has greater arm and leg strength.

Name: Felix Aluris

Bio: It's hard to say what went wrong in Felix's life, or if anything ever did. He had a loving mom, a supportive father, and even an annoying little sister to mess with. School wasn't that much of a hassle, either. His grades were okay, if a bit low, and his friends were always by his side. Nothing much happened. Birthday parties, vacations, visits. Those were dewdrops in an other wise barren wasteland of excitement. Life was average. School was average. Everything was average.

And Felix absolutely hated it.

It was too plain. Too everyday. Too boring.
The monotony made everyday feel like a broken record, repeating and repeating the same sickening nonsense. Life for Felix no longer felt alive.
So, in a desperate attempt to cure the epidemic of dullness, Felix constantly sought out ways to entertain himself, no matter how dangerous. Midnight escapades, sporadic hikes in the woods, misadventures into construction sites. The high of it all was too much, but went to click. Each one grew more and more drastic. His family and friends grew concerned over his extreme means of entertainment, fearing that he would one day take it too far.

'Too far' came in the form of recruitment for an experiment. Felix saw this as an opportunity for an adventure that would finally satisfy his lust. Something to finally add that fire in his life. Little did he expect for that spark to become a wildfire.

The changes were difficult to get used to at first. Minute sounds now seemed like roars in his ears. His reflexes were unnervingly quick. It even became especially hard to resist the urge to scratch apart his bed. Eventually, Felix took these changes in stride and is still learning to get used to his newfound abilities.

Personality: For Felix, trouble is more than just a friend. He's a mischievous young man who marches to the beat of his own drum, caring little about what anyone tells him to do. The prince of his own mind, Felix is arrogant and proud, often looking down on others he deems 'unworthy'. He holds the unfortunate tendency of being temperamental. One day you'll find he's quite cheerful and lackadaisical, another he's snappy and rude. Once you befriend him, however, you'll find that Felix is strongly protective and surprisingly generous.

Felix quite the flirt and will often send a wink at just about anyone. He loves trying new things and using unconventional methods, tough it may not always turn out well. His excitement can be borderline childish as he often rushes ahead before thinking. He can be exceptionally rude, though its hard to tell wether its intentional or not.

Other: Because of the experiment, his speed, balance, and agility has increased, giving him near olympian capabilities. His nails are noticeably sharper as well, and he's able to retrace them at will. His eye sight is also sharp enough to see in the dark. Unfortunately, his energy drains quickly and the only sure way of refreshing himself is to take naps. Very long naps.
Also, he holds a strong hatred for dogs and water.

Name: Dae Hesper

Bio: The son of two prolific actors, it was inevitable that Dae was sucked into the world of cameras and spotlight. His parents were always ready to show off their pampered son like a prized hound, showering him with treats and decorations when in the public eye. Behind the scenes, however, they were cold and manipulative. They verbally abused their son with a constant mantra that Dae was useless without them. That so long as their little flower was obediant, he would always be loved.
When his parents caught wind of the experiments, they instantly signed Dae up in hopes of it improving their reputation as 'supporters of science'. It got attention, alright. But what they didn't expect was the physical changes that came along with it. Seeing an opportunity, Dae's parents took advantage of Dae's new found appearance to use him as some sort of otherworldly model: "The Fairy King".
As the fans and money grew, so did Dae's happiness. He seeks to flee from the cage of his parents and fame, and searches for a way back to his old self.

Personality: A gentle man of charm and grace, it's no wonder how Dae received the nickname 'Fairy King'. His soft spoken tones, paired with with his generally calm demeanor, makes him seem easily trustable. He's hardly a fighter, preferring to use words rather that muscle, but will defend the people he loves if needed.
Though kindly a majority of the time, there lies a shadow beneath his gentle demeanor. He's easily annoyed by the smallest of things, though he's skilled at hiding it. He can hold a grudge and strike when you least expect it. Dae's frustration with his life manifests in the form of a self-destructive nature, making him willing to risk almost anything so long as his goal is fulfilled.

Other: Dae's wings are blindingly beautiful. Literally. Small scales shed easily off his wings, allowing him to create a shimmering cloud of 'dust' if needed. The dust, though harmless in appearance, is capable of permanently blinding someone if enough get into the eyes.
Apart from that, Dae is shockingly fast. Thanks to his antennae, he has an acute sense of direction, balance, and smell.
A curious side of the experimentation has left Dae to drink his meals rather than actually eat them.

Name: Marzia (Zia)
Age: 12
Gender: Female
Appearance: She has long, wavy, silver hair which used to be brown before the experiment and she is very thin. She is in a wheelchair because of the experiment as her legs were turned into a dolphin tail and she covers them with a blanket. She has sea blue eyes and pale skin. She has a dolphin fin on her back and has gills on her neck which she hides by always wearing a top with a collar and she wears a black skirt over her silver tail. She usually wears a black and silver top as well with the collar and some sort of pattern as well as gloves so her hands don't hurt when using the wheelchair. She has a silver locket around her neck with a picture of her and Zita swimming a year before the accident.
Animal: Dolphin
Bio: She had a normal life and a lovely big sister but when her sister was 7 and she was 5, they went swimming in the seas of Italy when her sister started to drown and she screamed for help but they couldn't save her. She blamed herself and she was now scared of the water. 2 years later they moved away because Marzia had bad PTSD from the events of her sister, Zita, dying and living near to where she died was too overwhelming for her. She was 7 at the time when they moved but freaked out when they moved to the island and she has never been to the beach since her sister died.
Personality: She is quiet and shy and a bit of a scaredy cat. She is still slightly traumatized from her sister's death because she still blames herself even though it was 7 years ago but she will still get flashbacks. The experiment made her have a love for the ocean but fear still made it a struggle for her. She is always independent and fights for herself because that is what she learned from her role model, Zita, her older sister before she died. She was very close to her and she remembered how happy they used to be together. They were inseparable.

Has large black and white feathered wings that sprout from her back from between her shoulder blades. There are also tree black feathers that sprout from just behind her ears as well as a full line of down and feathers running down her spine. Myra has amber eyes.

Bio:
"Myra Helto Granbous" when you mention this name you will get a multitude of reactions, from those in a local mental evaluation clinic they would say that she is "an interesting topic and an important scientific discussion" while others would gain the "thousand yard stare" at the mere thought of being in the same room as her again. How you may ask, had this 16 year old girl become so infamous within the mental science world, well that is all thanks to her mother and to a lesser extent her father. They had always known Myra was a very different and dangerous child, and as she grew older it got harder and harder to ignore to blazing problem that presented itself almost half the time Myra was awake.

"She is insane" plane and simple, Myra's very wealthy parents finally decided to give in and sent their child away to protect those around them. They gave her to the science experiment in hopes that they could fix her, though it definitely didn't go as they had expected.



Personality:
Myra is not what you would call entirly "stable", though she is not completely off the deep end she is actually extremely bi-polar. She is above all very loyal as well as caring but those good traits for her can and do easily transform into more of either an obsession or a self proclaimed guard-like position around those that has caught her attention. She has no qualms about killing/harming people to get what she desperately wants though her openness with this fact has alienated her from those of her old life so she represses her thoughts through music. Myra Will follows orders from the people she considers her betters but there will always be doubt.

Other:
Always has her music close by as it acts like a blinder for her more violent and destructive thoughts just like falconers use blinders do to their falcons to keep them focused.

Name: Matilda (Tilly)

Gender: Female
Appearance: Long platinum blonde hair that used to be red and icy blue eyes that used to be green. She is very bulky and quite tall. She has polar bear ears and a little fluffy tail. Her skin is pale and she wears a red hoodie and a black miniskirt. She also wears black, slight high heels and a pearl bracelet as well as a golden locket. She is about 5" 11" which is quite tall. She is quite heavy and always feels warm to the touch. She has thick skin and she can withstand cold weather like where she was from. She used to be small and scrawny.
Animal: Polar Bear
Bio: She is a Norwegien and she is not fluent in English as she only moved here a few months ago. She is from a small family that is now just her and her mother and her father as well. Her sister passed away from a rare illness when she was 15 and her sister was 19. She misses her sister dearly and she has gotten pregnant with her boyfriend but he left her when he found out so she raised Cathrine by herself. She moved a few months ago because the illness was spreading around again and her family didn't want her and her daughter to catch it so they moved to the island.
Personality: She is very kind and caring and will try her hardest to speak English but will sometimes slip back into Bokmal. She is very motherly and will mother anyone younger if she can. Other than that, she is quite chatty when she can be and she is very observant and will comfort people easily and is always there to talk to people. She wanted to go into medicine and she loves taking care of people so that is the other reason why she is motherly. She loves her daughter and hates her daughter's father because he left her when she needed him the most and her daughter looks exactly like she did but has blue eyes like her father instead of green.
Other:
