Whether you're one for emotional drama or a sucker for physical trauma, the vast range of characters available could fit any genre or any purpose you could reasonably imagine. Is your interest piqued by a fresh interpretation of Bruce Banner that you really wanna try out? Own it. Love Thor but hate that darned old hammer? Sling it. Think that The Whizzer is in need of a drastic revival? That's good too. No-one is off limits here. Not even Doop. As long as they have appeared in a canonical Marvel tale on either the page or the screen they're free for refurbishment. Here, the MARVEL UNIVERSE is yours to mold.

Season 2 is a fantastic opportunity for both newcomers and battle-harden veterans to jump on board the All-Star Marvel express! With the old story lines from Season 1 have all but been wrapped up, Season 2 will allow players to enter the action without worrying too much about "current events" and such. Although there are several already established characters, the Marvel Universe is a vast place, inhabited by countless numbers of heroes and villains. Just ask whether someone has been taken and we can let you know who is still available!

Sounds really dynamic and fun!

Since I'm looking to start somewhere in Advanced roleplaying, is there a possibility for me to play as a canon character that is recommended for a huge beginner?

I have to admit that I'm only well-versed in the films so I don't know if knowledge of the comics are a requirement but I thought I'd ask anyways.

Star-Lord (Perhaps because of our love for the golden years?)

Guardians of the Galaxy: While the Guardians are not off the table, the risk with them is that the majority, if not all of the characters currently in the game, are based on Earth. Therefore, it could become lonely out in space without people to interact with.

Spider-Man: He's already taken, so he would be off the table.

Between Maria Hill and Agent 13, I would say go for Agent 13. Captain America (Steve Rodgers) will be becoming important in season 2, along with some other SHIELD characters (like Nick Fury and Hawkeye).
