Sounds really dynamic and fun!

Since I'm looking to start somewhere in Advanced roleplaying, is there a possibility for me to play as a canon character that is recommended for a huge beginner?

I have to admit that I'm only well-versed in the films so I don't know if knowledge of the comics are a requirement but I thought I'd ask anyways.

Tabletop Newbie Help?

I'd really like to get into tabletop roleplays and I need a tremendous amount of help. I know there is a website called Roll20 where almost all online tabletop games happen but I'd love to have a friend here help me out with the ones that are available here. I went into the interest checks link but from the looks of it, it hasn't been that active except the roleplays that are currently in progress. I'm a beginner and the only experience I had was when I played a very minor role for Dungeons & Dragons years and years ago but I couldn't enjoy it as much as I liked because someone had to help me through the whole thing... which I still feel bad for.

If anyone could buddy up with me and show me the ropes, I would be grateful!

Hello!

Hello, I'm Su Yin and I'm a newbie on here.

I started roleplaying on MSN with a group of friends I met through various fan sites of Teen Titans and other cartoon shows. Once I got more skill out of it, I participated more on the message boards (at least, that's what they were called back then). I loved doing short stories for friends and sometimes, really crappy fan art but it was the heart that counted, I guess! I think I write pretty well and one of my favorite things about roleplaying is characterization; I love giving a lot of personality and uniqueness to my male and female characters. Speaking of which, I play both genders 50/50. My favorite genres are romance, slice of life, and paranormal romance.

Other than roleplaying, I love to read, listen to various music (my tastes are pretty eclectic), my dog, and binge-watch some TV shows. My favorite show is Daria as you can tell from my profile picture! I'm a lot like her but I don't bite that bad. My second fandom is Star Wars and my goal is to get into reading the books (and finding my real life Finn to my Rey, lol).

Anyways, it's nice meet you all and I hope I get to roleplaying soon!
