So life have been kicking my ass all over the place for a bit now. Sadly I had to leave some fun roleplays I was part of. But now things have calmed down and I wanna give it another try in a world I have in my head. Still working on it and don't want to get to into it if there is no interest for it.

The world have been betrayed...We thought they came as friends, traders and teachers...We were wrong...They came to enslave and destroy...

The setting will be as a small group of "soldiers" fighting against an alien threat. Earth as we know it is no more. Most of the world is occupied by the alien forces. Only the North part of US and Canada is fully under human control. People from all over the world have gathered there to form a defense and try to push back the aliens occupying the world, destroying cities and doing who knows what to captured humans. It would take place in a near future so all modern weapons are what we have.

We would all be part of a small recon/special forces group, each with a special area of expertise. No super powers of any kind, mutations or such. Just normal people fighting for survival. All of us could potentially be affected by loss of friends, comrades during missions and other things happening during missions and downtime. The world is not perfect, stress is upon us all

I am looking for someone to help develop this concept and if there are people being interested of being a part of it? Post will be edited as I puts more info into my head and in here.

Thanks for showing interest :) Makes me really wanna get into the details with this. How many do you think we should have in this group we will be a part of? And what area of expertise do you guys think you will choose? Marksman, demolitions, medic, coms and so on.
I am not asking for any real life military experince, fights and so will be in gerilla warfare style.

If so, I'd love to go for comms, someone who is actually interested in learning the aliens' language despite the fact they're trying to blow our faces off.

Plotwise, maybe initially there was a tentative peace. Perhaps they are a nomadic race that f*cked up their own planet and are now traveling from star system to star system (sound familiar?).

They discover Earth, with its "world peace" and "let's be friends" but after some racial tension and a baaaaaad incident, our visitors decided to be permanent residents. The ONLY permanent residents.

@StoneWolf I was wondering if there is any chance my character could be a freshie Marine trapped deep in enemy territory, the rest of his unit either killed or MIA, who happens to communicate wih your task force, and bands up for the sake of survival (I mean, I would think they wouldn't leave him behind.)

If not, (which is totally fine with me, I don't want to alter your vision for this.) I'd most definitely be happy with the demolitions position, making things go boom sounds like my type of badassery.

I'm going to go ahead and shotgun the marksman position unless a door gunner spot opens up.
