@StoneWolf I was wondering if there is any chance my character could be a freshie Marine trapped deep in enemy territory, the rest of his unit either killed or MIA, who happens to communicate wih your task force, and bands up for the sake of survival (I mean, I would think they wouldn't leave him behind.)
If not, (which is totally fine with me, I don't want to alter your vision for this.) I'd most definitely be happy with the demolitions position, making things go boom sounds like my type of badassery.
"Bound by sorrow, at last united, we must rebuild."
Basic Plot/Summary:
It has been fourteen long winters since our four houses crumbled like loose sediment in our fingers. Our marvelous, spanning empires driven into the dust by a collective force of enemies and foreign settlers looking to gain a foothold in Alduin.
It is true that the alliance that bound our four kingdoms together could be tedious at times, but as a result, we all prospered, joined as one our growth was unchecked, our enemies would have piss running down into their boots given a look at our glorious armies. We were the four pillars the held up Aldiun, we held that damn continent on our backs, gave it order, we gave it life, and in return, we received death and exile. We fled as our soldiers and heirs were cut down into the dust, as our women were brutally raped and enslaved, they took everything without mercy, without the slightest touch of it. We would have shown them mercy.
We fled, unified, but broken from ports across the northern coastline. We sailed as far away from our wretched homeland as we could, and after months of harsh conditions, being near starvation, our fleet of broken settlers arrived at our new home, Mainshorne. Construction on a new castle began shortly thereafter, we gathered the most brilliant stone masons, architects, and builders that we could find from each house, and together, we began to rebuild.
- Excerpt from the recovered journal of Archeias Theras, Third Generation Stone Mason.
The original four kingdoms held their own traditions, their own religions, their own cultures, and ways of life, and they will die to preserve them.
And though they are unified on some fronts, most have dreaded this large-scale merger, fearing the kingdom will implode under the weight of these differences. The remaining rulers, advisors, and family belonging to each house decide marriage is the only way the kingdom will survive. The largest kingdom in Alduin shall put forth their last eligible son. And the remaining three clans shall put forth their eldest, and most qualified daughter. Each partner in this wedding will have an equal voice to speak for their people, this makeshift council of four shall decide the fate of their people.
This they have settled is an entirely different world than the one they belonged to. This land is governed by cruel, foreign gods, beasts of both nightmare and legend, and all manner of people, savage and civilized.
The heirs are inexperienced, and their opinions on governing, and the marriage differ widely. The rift between peoples grows deeper yet as cultures and traditions clash. The treachery they left behind still smolders deep within the heart of their newfound kingdom and knowledge of their foreign presence is spreading across Mainshorne like wildfire. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Name: Put your character’s full name, along with any nicknames or other alias’s here as well.
Age: Depending on your people’s traditions, the age of marriage eligibility would most likely differ. (I'd say age 17 minimum, 30 Maximum.)
Sexuality: Wanted to put this in here in case any characters have varying preferences.
Picture: Any form of picture would be fine, but if it is art, I’d request that it be proportionally correct at least. (This might seem like an odd request, but trust me, it’s been an issue for me in the past.)
Appearance: Clothing (As I’m sure this will differ widely between the civilizations), and also anything else not shown in the picture that you’d like us to know about your character’s appearance. (Perhaps significant markings such as tattoos, birthmarks, scars, etc.) Include Height/Weight/body type Please.
Backstory Pretty self-explanatory, I’d like this to be fairly detailed so I have as much information to work off of as possible. (I’d say a three paragraph minimum if that works alright.) Keep in mind, all of our characters would have been pretty young during the time when they fled.
Personal Religious Views: (This will co-inside with magic.) Though their house and people will undoubtedly endorse a certain pantheon or group of pantheons, I’d like to know which pantheons they follow (if the specifics haven’t been created yet, you're free to fill this one out after you submit it, once you know for certain.)
Hobbies/interests Self Explanatory as well.
Unique Skillsets/Talents These females were not just chosen because they were of eligible age, other factors went into these decisions as well. What sets them apart from the others? (I ask that these be pretty realistic as well.)
Magic: What is your affiliation with it, if at all? (Keep in mind, magic is taken from a god’s own supply, so depending on the god, it would usually be given out cautiously, and in small amounts. With exceptions of course.) If you would like to portray one of these exceptions, please let me know beforehand so I can approve.
Possesions/Items: Any items of significance to your character.
Misc: Pretty much anything the rest of the character sheet doesn’t address that you think is important to know.
Note: I do not require any information about strengths and or weaknesses, along with any sort of description of a personality. (Because they can change as the story moves along.) But, I do request that your character does display a balance between strengths and flaws, I’d like to find them in your writing though, rather than read them off of here.
Core Beliefs: Please provide a 1-2 paragraph description of the beliefs/traditions/values found within your religion that set it apart from the others.
Pictures: Please provide a picture of the temple belonging to your houses district within the newfound kingdom. Please make the logistics of the building plausible in the situation our characters are in. Please also put pictures of your shrines here as well if you have any. If not, please put a brief description of your average shrine here, include information on its location and the significance of that location, (for example, centered near a body of water, atop a tree canopy, etc.)
Worship: How do your people pay homage to your god(s)? how do your priests/priestesses do so? (If you have those.)
History: Please provide a description of how your religion came to be, the way it was founded, along with any important information on prophets or other significant figures in its history. (One Paragraph minimum, please.)
Magic: Your religions affiliation with magic. What does your god(s) gift upon devout followers/priests or priestesses of said religion? (Again, nothing overpowered. If you think it might be, just let me know and I'll decide.)
Deity w/Description: Provide a picture (If any) or a description of appearance, if that is known. (Any form of description of appearance is not required) Include this deities role within this religion, and any other information you'd think would be important for me to know about this god. (Include relationships with the other deities you might believe in.)
Copy and paste this if you have more than one god ^
Name: Please include a brief description of the names meaning as well. (If any, otherwise no need.)
Sigil: Please include either a picture (It doesn't need to be a sketched out sigil or anything, a picture of the object/animal/glyph or whatever it may be will suffice, just to give a better idea of what your flag will contain.) add a description as well, describing its details further, along with information about its significance, and how it came to be a symbol for your people. (One paragraph minimum.)
Saga: Tell us about your houses rise to power, the trials, struggles, and victories your people have endured. The monumental events, both good and bad that changed your people as a whole, the great figures that brought glory and honor, and advancement to your house. Talk about the founder(s) as well here. (Three paragraph minimum, please.)
Culture/traditions: How do your people celebrate important events from its past? How do your people dress? How has the climate/reglion affected your peoples? (Describe their relationship with their environment.) The rituals you would perform before battles, your funerals, marriages, all the general information we'd need to know in order to understand what sets your culture apart from the rest. (I suggest studying ancient cultures to get a feel for their traditions if you're having trouble with this one. Three paragraph minimum, as I find this very important to the story.)
Resources/Specialties/Trade: Your god(s) would have most likely granted the most devout of followers in your kingdom, ancient secrets, allowing for your people to surpass the ability of others. What natural resources did your people settle on the lands for? What did they craft/create with these resources, what were your primary imports and exports? How did your people feed themselves, etc?
Old System of Government: Self-explanatory. Give us information on how it worked, and how your people felt about it.
Relationships with the Other Houses: Self-explanatory, give us a brief summary of your houses relationships with each of the other houses before the exile. We can talk back and forth to figure this out.
Artifacts/Relics: Give us a brief understand of the significance of the object(s) in question, where it is kept in your new district, is it's significance religious, or cultural?
Remaining Prominent Figures: Please create a short CS including their appearance (Description or picture works fine.) their opinion on the merging of our houses, and a little bit of backstory for each remaining prominent figure currently left living. (Most of your male rulers, generals, and male heirs would have not made the journey, as most were killed by the enemy armies.) Important figures would by definition mean not just the blood relatives, but any figures who have done great things for your people. Please put each one in a hider to keep things semi-orderly.
If you need any help with any of these, please send me a PM in Discord.
Okay, sounds good. Maybe I'll just do a little of both. Keep the important stuff on the thread, and toss back ideas in real time on chat. (I'll create the thread once I finish work.) And, I forgot to ask, if it won't be too much trouble would each of you mind PMing a 1-2 paragraph excerpt from any of your writings? (Can definitely be stuff from here too.) So I can gauge whether or not this RP is a perfect fit, and also so I can get a feel for your individual writing styles. I can provide one as well if need be. Thanks! :D
HI. I'd like to join as the third if you're available~
Definitely! So that makes three.
This story gives interest to me of things I like, but I don't feel obligated to participate for reasons, but I wouldn't mind being a spectator to how it starts or ends. o-o
Seems you've already got three girls, so I think I'll just read this if you post it in a thread because it interests me.
A captive audience, I like this :p.
@Irisity@Arista@AimeChambers So, I want to flesh things out before we start, we can each plan out the details of our houses, toss ideas back and forth about the world, etc. What do you guys think would be the best way we could all do this? Should we do this all on the thread or a live chatroom maybe? (So it's real time, and with instant replies, i'm not a pedo or anything I promise xD.)

As I said in the title, I am looking for three literate, and fairly active females, who can help me create an immersive experience. I request that you are able to help me come up with your unique houses saga, culture, religion, etc. This would include themes of violence, gore, swearing, and sex, but I would like it to be more story driven than anything else. Thanks for Reading!
