You know you have an RP problem when every post starts feeling like a hit from a drug, and when you can't post, it feels like withdrawal.

I'm feeling like I can relate to that a little too well at the moment, Gonzo.

And on that note, I'll add this one:
You know you have an RP problem when you begin to take on the personality traits of your favourite characters.

You know you have an RP problem when you wait for other roleplayers who are sleeping to wake up and post. (especially when you and other roleplayers live in different timezones)

You know you have RP problems when roleplayerguild.com is not the only roleplaying forum you join... and not the only roleplaying forum you're active at.

When you dream about the RP's you're in.

When you get pissed that none of the RP's you're in have updated after an hour has passed.

When you stalk your fellow RPers to find out why they're not posting.

When you contribute to this thread. xD

You might have a problem.

The dream one, though. I've had RP-related dreams three times recently. twice for the same RP. Dammit, Incursions, screwing with my brain.

You know you've got a problem when you are no longer embarrassed to admit "A roleplay post" when someone asks what you're typing.

You know you have a problem when half of your email inbox is filled with OOC discussion and planning.

You know you have an RP Problem When you willingly volunteer to design a spaceship for an RP. And spend hours doing so.

You k ow you have a roleplay problem when...

you actually feel the emotions your character has.

you sometimes, accidentally get mad at the person who is playing the asshole in the RP.

You know you have an RP Problem when you stare at maps for hours on end, imagining all the countries your nation can walk over. The map of Europe on my wall keeps me occupied for hours.

You know you have an RP problem when you plan out a huge scenario in your head for a particular RP and are heartbroken when it doesn't happen.

You know you have an RP problem when -
you find yourself trying to convince your friends that it would be a great idea if they'd start RPing with you.
you search for countless hours online for the perfect picture to match the next character you'll use in an RP.
you break your brain trying to think of an original story for an RP just so you can quickly post it and begin rping (especially because your other rps are going too slow)
you watch or read things and think "If this were an rp...how would that go on roleplayerguild.com?"

You know you have an RP problem when you pass by people in public places and think "Hey, they sorta look like [insert character name]."

Eerily, I met a guy the other day who looked -exactly- like a create-a-character I made in WWE2K14. Same facial structure, same hair, same eye colour.. and the worst part was, the guy was wearing gym equipment and looked like he had been working out. I spent about an hour wondering if I had accidentally willed this man into existence.

Anyway;

You know you have an RP problem when you lie to your work colleagues that you're tired because you were 'out' late last night, when you were actually up until 3am making a character sheet for an Interest Check you liked the look of.

You know you have an RP problem when people tell you their real life problems and you respond with "That's ridiculous! That totally happened to me this one time, in an RP I was doing.."
