Personality: Don't let the name fool you, this Pokemon is as rough and tough as they come. She's a veteran explorer with tons of experience, and some power to back that up. Though most of this demeanor is just for show. In truth, she is generally a very gentle and caring Pokemon, resorting to violence when there is no alternative. Although... sometimes she's just kind of... gone... it's hard to explain unless you're there to witness it. She tends to be a nomad, never staying in one place for long unless she has a good reason.
Backstory: Breeze was born in Shaymin Village on the Grass Continent. As a child, she always wondered what the world was like outside of their village, and often traveled to the Sky Peak to try and see as far as she could. Since she was still so young, though, her parents forbade her to leave until she was old enough.
When she finally did become old enough, her parents let her leave without any objection. They knew their little girl was a grown up now, and ready to see all that the world offered. And so she was off on her journey across the world. At first, things were a bit bumpy. She got banged up in quite a few Mystery Dungeons she wasn't prepared for, and soon found herself at a Guild on the Grass Continent.
She didn't register as a Guild Affiliate, but it was there that she started her own team, finding those who shared her dreams of seeing the world. She formed a team with two other Pokemon: Sonya the Emolga, and Lola the Gligar. Together they traveled across each and every continent, exploring all they could before moving on.
However, at some point, their team known as Windflower disbanded for unknown reasons. Sonya and Lola went off the grid, leaving Breeze alone once more in the world. However, she was far more prepared than she was when she first met them, and was confident in her abilities on her own. However, something deep inside still longed for the friendship that disappeared. Eventually she made her way to the Sand Continent, where she heard of Folio Town, a town built inside a massive tree. This, she had to see for herself...
Backstory: As a human, Devon's life was...Adventurous? If you count getting beat up by many wild Pokémon due to misunderstandings as a child. Young Devon was always interested in Pokémon, and thought the best way to interact with them would be to befriend wilds in near his home towns of both Hearthome and Goldenrod. (His parents live apart due to work reasons, but are still in love and share Devon throughout the twelve months of the year.) His naive way of making friends via butting into the personal space of wild Pokémon angered most he came across. Thus leading to many painful injuries, and frequent hospital visits. These unfortunate events did not daunt Devon however. He continued to attempt making friends with Pokémon and eventually succeeded. Making friends with a female Starly outside of Hearthome that he named: 'Flappers'. Thought childhood the boy played with the bird for years until they grew apart due to conflicting goals. Devon became interested in becoming a Trainer, and Flappers wanted a family of her own in the wild. The two parted ways when Devon was nine years old and have yet to encounter each other again.
Just before being brought to this strange new world, Devon was a happy, sixteen year old Pokémon Trainer. Collecting the badges of both Sinnoh and Johto while travelling with his five beloved team mates. Shock the Ampharos, Cyan the Marill, Quill the Monferno, Missy the Mismagius, and Nasir the Zoroark.
Personality: Devon is an outgoing used-to-be-teen who is very social between small groups, but cannot handle being the centre of attention in a large crowd. He’s quick to make friends, mostly leaning towards those with the same light hearted attitude as him. Though he can adapt to others of a different mindset with little time. Devon is patient, but does have his limits for things like long journeys with no excitement or stubborn Pokémon. His temper may seem almost non-existent, but do not be fooled. He is relatively good at hiding anger thanks to him seeing his fathers stern expression not change for sixteen years. That has been helpful in many situations such as dealing with childhood bullies. He may seem distant at first, but he does feel a sense of purpose to help others. Going out of his way to do so. He is competitive, taking offence to challenges and accepting them with little thought in the moment that sometimes lead him to misfortune. Due to being around others for most of his life, Devon is also bothered by being alone for long periods of time.
Team: Team Horizon (Made up of Devon, Lilisette, Ember, and Selena)
Guild Affiliation: Glyph's Guild
Special Features: His back spikes are a light brown instead of the normal red, and his irises are a deep brown. Reflections of his former self.
While not much different from any other Aron, Gren's eyes are notably green rather than blue. Hence the name Gr(e)en.
Name: Gren Gender: Male Pokémon: Aron Ability: Rock Head Unique Possessions: Some sort of marble. Feels powerful. Apparently with Gren when he was just an egg. Wears his lucky rock (A Hard Stone) around his neck. It's shaped like a pokeball. Moveset: Dig Rollout Protect Roar Personality: Gren is a fairly easygoing and relaxed pokemon. He's never really in a hurry to do anything and can come across as lazy, but that's not true. He's simply does things calmly and tries not to let things bother him too much. He can be very helpful in that if you ask him to do something for you, he'll do it to the best of his ability. That being said sometimes he can be kinda annoying when he keeps trying to help you, even if you don't need or want his help. He likes being with people but can certainly enjoy alone time, but more often then not he does try to do things that everyone else is doing. There is a bad side to him: he's very thick-headed and annoyingly persistent. While determination is never a bad thing, there are times were Gren simply won't admit to his faults or flaws and continue on his path, even if it's ultimately self-destructive. Once he starts going, it's hard to make him stop.
Backstory: Gren doesn't know who his true parents are. His mother, a Mawile named Nadeshiko, found him as an egg when she went into the mines to fetch iron to make pots. She found him underneath a pile of rocks, along with a marble. She took him back to her home and kept his egg safe while she continued to do her work in Folio Town, until he finally hatched. The first thing she noticed was that he had green eyes, and thus the baby Aron was called Gren.
Gren worked the mines with his mother. His particularly hard head was very useful at breaking stones that even his mother couldn’t break, and he grew to be able to discern stones and other rocks by scent. It got to a point that, after a while, Gren was a better miner than his mother was. Not only could he find iron deposits deep underground, he could even sniff out stones, plates, fossils, nuggets, and meteorites. He made a lot of money for his mother, but as he grew older he started to wonder who his real parents were. He knew that the Mawile wasn’t his real mother, though he certainly loved her like she was. When he asked her, she was honest and told him that she didn’t know. Only that she found him in the mines and with a unique marble. Gren could tell that this stone was special, but he’s never seen it before.
Eventually Gren made a decision. He was going to find out more about his past. He wanted to know who his parents were, why they left him in that mine, and what this stone was suppose to be. He made sure to make a lot of money so that his mother could live comfortably while he was gone. He promised that he’ll make sure to contact her whenever possible so she wouldn’t worry about him. Once Gren made sure he had everything he could need/carry, he set off on his adventure.
Team: None at the moment Guild Affiliation: None at the moment
Other:
Gren has many favorite foods. He loves his mother’s Mushroom Kingdom Soup (Made with one Big Mushroom, four Small Mushrooms, and a bottle of Moomoo Milk)and Sitrus is his favorite berry. He’s fine with eating metal things, but especially likes it when they’re rusty. He likes the flaky crunchy texture. Generally dislikes sweet things as they, in his own words, “Make my mouth feel bad”, though cold treats like popsicles, snow cones, and ice cream are an exception. He’s okay with drinking water and has a hard time learning that he shouldn’t drink dirty water, though due to being a steel-type he isn’t harmed by the poison in the water. Also has a bad habit of eating old or spoiled food as long as they still taste good.
Gren can’t swim at all and is afraid of water. While he’s fine with rain, drinking water, and puddles, he hates being in water. Thus it’s very rare for him to get on boats or take baths. Though he’s much more comfortable taking mud baths, for the given level of “clean” that’ll make him. He prefers scrubs.
Gren also has a very sharp nose for all things rocky and underground. If he is in underground or cave-like structures, his scent ability skyrockets: he can not only sniff out various types of ores and rocks, but even pokemon who aren’t rock types. Otherwise on the surface he’s able to identify what metal or stone things are made of with a good sniff, and can seek out similar objects if he has a scent on them.
Gren isn’t afraid to fight and is fairly used to fighting as well. He’s faced off against a few hostile pokemon in the mines, more often than not fighting types who think he’ll make for an easy target just because he’s a rock/steel type. Then they get smacked in the face with a rollout. Since he’s still kinda small, a lot of Gren’s attacks generally consist of smashing his head against them at full speed, and Rollout is his best weaponized version of this. Not only does Rollout make for an effective attack, it helps him get over his usual weakness of being kinda slow, rolling around like a boulder on an incline. Failing that, Gren is still a tough little pokemon and knows how to use his body to Protect himself from attacks. Or he could use his excellent burrowing ability and Dig himself to safety. If all else fails, Gren can unleash a mighty Roar that will scare off most ruffians, or at least alert others from far away that he’s in trouble.
Gren also doesn’t like fighting types due to the above instances, as they typically bully him whenever he’s working. His mother usually drives them away, but it doesn’t change the fact that he looks very dimly on fighter types, especially the ones who think they’re “honorable” warriors or the like. Since most of the time that “Honor” consist of them trying to beat him up just so they could get stronger.
Lastly, Gren has learned a few tricks that he helped him from time to time. One trick is that if he claps his front two claws hard enough, he can make a spark to light tinder with. His claws need to be dry though, as wet claws aren’t “rough” enough. He also knows how to make baskets out of sticks and leaves, which he usually uses to carry berries and small rocks. If he has more time and better materials he can make baskets that can hold bigger and heavier rocks too, even pokemon. His mother taught him that one. He’s also pretty good at predicting the weather, though only rain and he needs to be outside first. He can give a rough estimate at when it’ll arrive, how long it might last, and how heavy the rain would be. He mostly knows this to avoid going out, since while he doesn’t mind being in the rain, he would still prefer not to be in the rain.
Nadeshiko - A fairly old Mawile, she is one of Folio’s Blacksmiths and Miners. She specializes in cooking and cutlery. She found Gren one day in the mines and adopted him. Nadeshiko used to be part of a team called Wyld Style, though the group has mostly retired to settle down in and around the town of Folio. A kind and motherly pokemon, she made sure to raise Gren with lots of love, though she isn’t afraid to punish him for being naughty either. She doesn’t really make much of a name for herself in Folio, though she’s sociable enough that her smithy gets regular customers. While she doesn’t fight much, Nadeshiko is no less a dangerous opponent. While she’s rightfully worried about getting hurt, if push comes to shove or someone is in danger, she can be very Brave. When she fights she can Intimidate even the most fearsome of pokemon. She’s been known to Play Rough against her enemies, and can use Iron Head to make the mouth-like horns on her head harder than steel. She’s a pragmatic fighter and will use Foul Play against opponents who are stronger than her, or lower their guard using her Sweet Scent. Her favorite food is Mushrooms and Occa Berries.
Honey Buns - A Buneary who grows berries with his parents. His mother is a Lopunny, while his father is a Scrafty. Gren met him one day while taking a break from the mines, and helped him pick his berries. Later they helped defend their berry farm from a gang of poochyenas. Honey is a nice but naive little pokemon, always willing to give a hand and trust others. He and Gren get along well thanks to their easy-going attitudes. Honey wants to find all the berries in the world and grow them in his family’s farm. Unlike Gren, Honey isn’t used to fighting and can come off as rather weak. Thus he’s more prone to Run Away from fights than to stay, but if he can’t leave Honey isn’t defenseless. He knows how to Endure attacks, and has a sharp Foresight to hit fast enemies and even Ghosts. He usually uses Quick Attacks and relies on hit-and-run tactics. But if you’re a big and mean pokemon, Honey will use a technique his father taught him: a Low Kick that, even for a small pokemon like Honey, will do a lot of harm. Honey’s favorite food is Honey and Pecha Berries.
Kage - A roguish poochyena with a complicated relationship with Gren. Kage was one of the poochyenas who raided Honey’s farm for berries, but he didn’t do it out of malice: He used to run with a pack of Poochyenas who, figuring they were outcasts from Folio Town, had to steal to survive. Eventually the pack was able to slowly integrate as productive members of Folio Town, but that all changed when one of the Poochyenas became a Mightyena. He began to make the poochyenas rob other pokemon, not even to survive, but just so he can have their stuff. Kage didn’t like this and worked alongside Gren to put an end to his old gang. Together they managed to chase off the Mightyena, but it might not be the last they see of him. Kage is a Hasty pokemon who has a lot of heart, but not a lot of sense. Kage is also a horrible speller: his name is suppose to be “Cage”, but he spelled it with a “K” because he thought “C” were just lowercase “S”. Kage can be easily Rattled and is quite jumpy, scared of bugs, ghosts, and the dark. Because he’s rather cowardly he’s not a great fighter, but he is a good Thief. Despite being a coward he’s a good liar and could Swagger his enemies into a frenzy, then use Sand Attacks to blind them, and Howl to pump himself up. His favorite food is roasted meat.
Masha - Masha is a shroomish who aspires to be a successful traveling merchant. Her parents, both Brelooms, are guardians of Folio Town. Masha’s mother is nice if boisterous: she sometimes forgets how strong she is and could give crushing hugs. Masha’s father is less likeable. He takes his job protecting Folio Town, and by extension his family, very seriously. Thus he has very little tolerance for troublemakers, and especially doesn’t want Masha to hang out with troublemakers (I.e. boys). Thus Masha’s father doesn’t like Gren, though Gren and Masha are quite friendly with each other. Gren often trades the things he finds in the mines for Masha’s mushrooms, often very skewed in Masha’s favor. That being said, she does give Gren a good deal on mushrooms and will give him an appropriate amount of money to him once she finishes selling off all the stuff he trades her. Knowing how dangerous the life of a traveling merchant will be, Masha is trained to fight by her parents. She knows how to give a nasty headbutt, and she has a lot of staying power once she plants some Leech Seeds on her enemy and starts using Mega Absorb. But if things start to get really bad for her, she has the ultimate technique her father taught her: Spore, an instant sleep attack that’s much more effective than Sleeping Powder. Her favorite food is Mineral Water and Watmel Berries.
Seraph - A rather tall Kirlia (she’s 3 feet tall instead of the usual 2 feet) who has a somewhat belligerent relationship with Gren. While normally a modest and aloof, Seraph can be rather bossy and mean spirited when she has to deal with “stupid” pokemon. And Gren is one of those “stupid” pokemon. Seraph lives with her parents, a Gardevoir and Gallade, who runs the library and teach at Hawlucha’s Slam School, respectively. Seraph herself fancies herself a guardian of the town and will often write up pokemon with “Tickets” when they do something like littering or loitering. While she usually leaves it to the actual protectors of Folio Town to deal with real criminals, Seraph is more than capable of holding her own. Her Telepathy allows her to fight in the thick of it with her allies without worrying about friendly fire. She’d strike with Magical Leaves if her enemies are too fast for her to hit with Confusion, and if they get too close she’ll Teleport to somewhere safe. If someone is hurt she can also use Heal Pulse on them. Seraph favorite food is Crackers and Chesto berries.
Hibiki - A Loudred who is infatuated with Gren. Hibiki first met Gren when she was just a Whismur, when she was accosted by a couple of makuhitas. Gren fought them off despite sustaining heavy injuries, making the shy girl smitten with him. Later when the same gang came around to beat up Gren, Hibiki evolved into a Loudred and caused them to flee after she roared at them. Since then she’s been trying to win Gren’s affections, though he’s not interested in her in that way. Still, she tries. Despite her evolution, Hibiki is still remains rather bashful. Like many loudreds, Hibiki is naturally soundproof, and makes use of them when fighting others. She often starts, and typically only needs to use, her Echoed Voice to defeat her enemies. While it’s not strong at first, the longer she does it the more it hurts. She can also use a Supersonic scream to confuse her enemies while she Stomps them flat. She can also… Attract male pokemon into falling in love with her (Or at least her voice). Hibiki hopes to use it on Gren, but she hasn’t found the chance yet. Her favorite food is bread and likes Tamato berries.
Edelweiss (Weiss for short) - A Frolass who lives deep in the caves of Folio Town. While not exactly a secret to most of the townsfolk, not many know much about her. Because no one ever see’s her during the day, there are many rumors as to who she is and what she does, from fairly benign to nightmarish. But the truth is, the reason she doesn’t go out during the day is because she’s an ice pokemon in the middle of a desert city. Combined with light-sensitive eyes and nocturnal sleep schedule, she doesn’t like to be outside during the day. She’s actually close friends with Nadeshiko and is one of the retired members of Wyld Style. Weiss makes ice for the Folio Town. Generally a calm person, nonetheless Weiss has also taken it upon herself to defend the town at night, especially against ghosts. Her Ice Coat makes her hard to hit in an ice storm, which will often be the setting of her battles as she always begins her fight by summoning Hail. This makes her Blizzards much more accurate. If fighting against ghosts, she’d hit them with Shadow Balls. And to prevent her prey from escaping she will often Block their paths, forcing them into a fight with her. Weiss’s favorite food is peanuts.
Robo - A mysterious Golett. Gren met him once when he got lost in a sandstorm. A very mysterious pokemon all things considered, but it did help Gren get back to Folio Town. He seems quiet, as the Golett never really told Gren anything aside from his name and that under no circumstances should Gren go into the desert alone. Gren never sees him in Folio Town, though sometimes when he’s in the desert heading to the mines he could see the golem pokemon walking in the distance. Gren isn’t sure what his abilities or what his attacks are. Robo doesn’t eat.
Helix - PRAISE HELIX! An massive Omastar Gren met near the beach. It was thanks to Helix that Gren was saved from a watery grave. Bold and bombastic, Helix can seem quite silly but is actually very wise and insightful. He was the one who taught Gren how to use Rollout, and why: because not all pokemon begin at their strongest. In the beginning, all pokemon start off small and weak. Even the most legendary pokemon were once babies in their eggs. But as long as they keep going, never stopping and never giving up, one day those little babies will become a great big force that will change the world. Helix doesn’t live in Folio Town, instead making his home somewhere off the coast. Though he does stop by for festivals or events. Helix’s Shell Armor is his defining feature, as it’s even tougher than Gren is. Hexis can summon form a mighty Surf to crash into his enemies, or concentrate that power into a Hydro Pump. And one should not underestimate Helix when he does a Defense Curl: because it will soon be followed up with a devastating Rollout. His favorite food is burgers and ice cream.
Name: Glyph Gender: Male Pokémon: Flygon Ability: Levitate
Moveset: Earthquake Dragon Claw Rock Slide Aerial Ace
Backstory: Glyph spent the majority of his early life living with his parents and sister high in the branches of Folio Town. Back then, the town was much smaller compared to nowadays. The town itself having a very low population due to the difficulties of even reaching the town from the outside of the sandstorm. These were favourable conditions for Glyph's parents. Their own adventuring days concluded and a peaceful rural town was just what they wanted to settle and raise their children. Throughout childhood Glyph and his sister Glyde were told many tales of their parents adventures together. Exploring Mystery Dungeons, visiting different towns and continents, and collecting treasure. The stories inspired the two younglings. Upon being told about the dungeon that resides under the town, Folio's Trunk, the twin Trapinch prepared for a solid week. Stocking up on items, drawing up plans, and honing their skills. Once ready, Glyph and Glyde set out into the Mystery Dungeon.....They didn't really last very long. Glyde got frightened by a Galvantula inside of the root cavern, and fled back into the safety of her mother's arms with Glyph at her heels. As it turned out, the Galvantula that had originally scared the twins was not a hostile Pokémon. Just a simple traveller on his way into the hidden town. The misunderstanding was quickly settled over a nice dinner between the family and the traveller. After only a few day, kids went at it again and this time succeeded in their goal. Bringing back a few Poké coins for their parents. Glyph and Glyde were proud of their achievement, as well as their parents. The siblings decided to continue their adventures and form an Exploration Team known as Team Quake. The two travelled all across the Sand Continent aiding Pokémon and plundering dungeons together for almost ten years. Growing a bit tired of the adventuring life, Glyph and his sister (Now both fully evolved Flygon) returned to Folio to take it easy and care for their now elderly parents. It wasn't long until their mother and father passed away, and the twins mindset differed for what to do next. Glyph wanted to return to a life of Exploration, while Glyde wanted to keep their parents house and start a family. Eventually Glyph had an idea. The experienced traveller deciding to create an Exploration Guild in Folio Town, and use the funds gained to not only support his sister and the town, but to also partly keep doing what he enjoyed. He may not be out in the field as much as he would want, but training a new generation of Explorers was good enough in the Flygon's eyes.
Personality: Glyph is a hearty, well mannered Pokémon that was named due to his parent's love of unknown and mysterious ancient symbols. He is very thoughtful, and goes to lengths to help those around him. When not instructing members of the guild or assisting the town populace, one would most likely find him in his room in the guild. The room itself a vast library of notes and journals written during Team Quakes travels as well as other literature that Glyph has gained over the years. The Flygon can sometimes become a bit absorbed into his books, and as such may space out on occasion in pure thought as well as rely too heavily on prior knowledge for some situations. He finds family and team work to be critical for survival in this world, and can be a bit preachy when conveying his opinions.
Team:Formerly Team Quake Guild Affiliation: Glyph's Guild: Guild Master
Family: Glyde the Flygon (Sister) Glen the Trapinch (Nephew)
She wears a black lace bow on the side of her head.
Ability: Flash Fire
Moveset: Will-o-Wisp Fire Spin Hex Pain Split
Personality: Veronica is a quiet Pokemon who doesn't show emotion very often. In fact, it's rare to see her smile. She doesn't talk very much, not because she's shy or anything, she just doesn't have much to say. It's hard to get more than a few words out of her at a time. When someone does try to talk to her, she tries to get straight to the point, and end the conversation as efficiently as possible. This often leads to saying things bluntly. She is patient and stoic, and doesn't get angry easily, but can be quite scary when she does get mad.
She is quite friendly deep down. She can be one of your closest friends if you have the patience to deal with her. The reason for her personality is because of the bad reputation Ghost types tend to get, especially the Chandelure line. She is accustomed to bullying and people saying terrible things about her and her family. The reason for her joining a Guild is to prove that not every Lampent in the world is interested in eating souls. Her favorite activity is reading books.
Backstory: Veronica was born in a village where her family were the only Ghost types around. Ghost types had a bad reputation, so everyone in the village had assumed they were evil. Since they had done nothing wrong however, they couldn't really be kicked out of town. Veronica had a normal childhood. However, she was often bullied and picked on by virtue of being a scary Ghost type. She was hurt by the constant teasing, but tried to ignore it as best she could.
It all came to a head on one particular. While she was walking by, she overheard a student say, "Oh look, here comes that freak. I bet she's just waiting for the right moment to eat our souls." She got upset by this, and then suddenly, without meaning too, a fire suddenly appeared next to him. The student tried to put it out, but the flame spread, setting himself on fire. When she walked up to try to help the person, he responded with "You did this didn't you?! Get away from me you witch!" Which made Veronica more upset, causing the fire to grow. Veronica ran away tears streaming down her face.
As Veronica ran, random things she passed started bursting into flames. Eventually, the entire school caught fire. By the time help arrived, flames had consumed the entire school. Several people were burned, and some even died. After that incident, it was confirmed in everyone's mind's that Ghost types were evil, and Veronica and her family were forced out of the village.
They tried to settle in a new village, but every time they would get forced out by people who were too scared to look past their bad reputation. Eventually, Veronica and her family found Folio town. Nothing bad has happened yet, but Veronica doesn't have her hopes too high up. She is a fire type living in a village inside a tree. That just screams disaster. She wants to improve her reputation, and thinks joining a guild can do that. She just doesn't know which one to join.
Personality: Arrogant, Aggressive, Adamant, and unyielding. She’s proud of her strength, and far too willing to use it, even against superior opponents. Will not be humbled by any show of force. Her tendency to survive extreme amounts of physical abuse doesn’t help with that.
On the other side of the coin, she’s quick to be awed by stories of myths and legends, and surprisingly patient when someone’s telling a tale. Doesn’t tell many of her own, though.
Loud, and often shouts ridiculous battle cries prior to an attack.
Backstory: Wandered into Folio town one day seemingly through the sandstorm, origins unknown. Despite being young, lacks any sort of close friends to unearth her history. The closest thing she has to one is a cordial relationship with Hawlucha, who shares his training equipment and time with her.
She has been seen once at night, “sneakily” spying upon the town’s tiny exploration guild. One might assume she wants to join it.
Personality: She can be quite skittish around strangers, even after evolving from Chikorita. She absolutely hates fighting, but her father, a Venusaur, made sure she could easily defend herself if need be. She tends to frequent the same places every day, following the set schedule she has developed over a lot of years. If she makes a friend, it is something she will cherish forever. That being said, she doesn't have too many friends... She tends to be treated as somewhat of an outcast due to her personality. It visibly shows most of the time, due to her being unable to properly control her emotions.
Backstory: Selena was born in Folio Town to a Venusaur named Brute and a Meganium named Leanne. Her parents lived on the outskirts of the town. Due to this, she had little interaction with other kids her age. She lived a solitary life, with her family being her only anchor. Things were soon to change however.
When a cooking accident burned down the family's home, they were forced to move into town. This was the first time she had been into town, and Selena was terrified. Suddenly she had been thrust into a world in which she had no clue how to act. Sure, some Pokemon tried to make friends with her at first. But each time she would end up running away, not used to having friends.
Over time her father trained her almost day and night, something she loathed with a passion. She hated fighting, and thus hated the training her father put her through. Soon the training triggered her evolution into a Bayleef, something that caught her off guard and caused her to become more reclusive than before. She completely stopped training and ended up spending a lot of time dangerously close to the entrance to the Folio Trunk.
Slowly she has started to come out of her shell a little, spending small amounts of time near the Town Plaza. Sadly, by this time, most of the kids her age and evolutionary stage treat her as an outcast and tend to avoid and make fun of her. She is very clearly hurt by this rejection, often running off in tears as she can't control her emotions well. She continues to search for someone who understands her position and would be her friend.
Personality: Ember has a fiery spirit, and that's no pun on her fire typing. She tends to be a wild child, and often gets mixed in with the wrong crowds. She eventually wises up, though. She's a gentle spirit at the core, and doesn't have a wicked bone in her body. However, getting her angry is a big mistake... the last Pokemon to get on her last nerve ended up with third degree burns for about a week. She hasn't had much training or battle experience before, which makes her a rookie when it comes to dungeon exploration, which she is an avid fan of.
Backstory: Ember was born a Cyndaquil to a single Typhlosion mother who lived near the center of Folio Town. Her father had gone missing months before after he kept raving about an unproven discovery of a second Mystery Dungeon in high branches of the Folio Trunk. Only his treasure bag was ever found, no sign of what happened to him has been found to this day.
Not having a strong father figure caused Ember to get mixed up with some bad Pokemon around town, one in particular being a young and reckless Tyrogue named Bruce. Over time she had many falling outs with the fighting type, but somehow always ended up back in the group again. This often put her at ends with her mother.
Soon enough, as is the natural process, Ember evolved into Quilava. At first she hated her new form, she had trouble walking around with her longer body and was upset that she couldn't get into many places she could when she was a Cyndaquil. Over time she has slowly started to wise up, and now has been trying to teach Bruce and his gang the error of their ways. It's... not going well. Recently her temper has begun to flare more than ever, and Bruce is about to touch that potentially deadly last nerve. She's been working on controlling her nasty temper since that incident when the Servine at the Blue Treeko stepped on her foot by accident... yeah, they don't talk about that much.
"I hope I'm not being a bother... a-anyway, it's a pleasure to meet you!"
Name: Mirfah Gender: Male Pokémon: Togetic Ability: Super Lucky Moveset:
Fairy Wind
Lucky Chant
Wish
Heal Bell
Personality: Mirfah has a kind nature, always possessing the spirit to aid others at the best of his abilities. His everyday smile and happy face are an addition to his noble attitude. However, behind all of those traits, he holds a deep disbelief in himself, finding him unfit and weak. It reached the point where he began to believe that he had no place in the world. Even so, Mirfah never gives up and always gives his 100% on whatever he is doing.
Also, he gained the title of "The Lucky Living Clumsiness". This is because Mirfah is really clumsy, at the point of sometimes being a klutz. But whenever he trips, falls or stumbles, something good happens instead of bad. One example his family mentioned once was the day that he slipped and found a secret lake, filled with pure water and fruits.
Backstory: Mirfah was born into the Air Continent. He never knew who his parents were and had only his Togekiss older brother as family. Whenever his brother was out, he did all the housework, such as cleaning and cooking. There wasn't a single moment that Mirfah was drawn to fight someone, so he always had a peaceful setting. Widely known throughout the town he lived, he was quite complimented by other Pokémon since he was really responsible in a young age.
One day, as he strolled through the lands with his brother, Mirfah tripped and fell down a hill. There, he found a secret lake, filled with pure water and tasty fruits he never ate before. It was there that he found his bell necklace. Whenever it was possible, he came with his brother to enjoy some moments of tranquility.
But that didn't last. In the next week, his brother left out for doing a mission from the Guild where he was a member. Unusually, he didn't returned. Mirfah waited and waited for six days, but his brother never came back. Rumors started to spread that he had died in this mission. Mirfah broke himself down into despair, locking himself for the world. He remembered that he had the opportunity to join his brother into those missions as a Guild member, but he refused it. He took the responsibility of the incident into himself, blaming his own weakness.
That's when he heard that said Guild was actually looking for members and that an expedition to the place where his brother disappeared would take place any time soon. Mirfah decided to leave, seeking his lost family, in order to find the happiness he lost...

"Ready to roll? We're going into many adventures, so be ready!"
Name: Lance Gender: Male Pokémon: Riolu Ability: Prankster Moveset:
Foresight
Endure
Quick Attack
Force Palm
Personality: Outgoing and lively, Lance is the type of adventuring and hard-headed child that rushes at the sight of a mystery. He's also really friendly and talks a lot sometimes. However, he's the type of person that hates when strong people starts messing with those who are weaker than them just for the fun of it. He believes that, no matter what kind of Pokémon you are, you are special because you exist and that you can make the difference even if you're not that powerful. That earned him a lot of respect from many.
But he's not all roses. Something that can be troubling in Lance is that he's either eight or eight-hundred. He doesn't consider the middle terms between options. Also, Lance rushes into something without thinking about it first, which makes necessary that someone is by his side all the time to hold him. If those weren't the only problems, whenever he fails to do something, he tends to lose his temper and gets too angry and loud for his own sake. Backstory: Lance knows too little of his own past, but he never raised an objection or interest to really know where he came from. He has been living for a long time in Folio Town, for as long as he can remember. Truth is, he was actually rescued by a Togekiss when he was hatching from his egg and was left into the town by the care of an Audino. He has been living with her until recently, when he decided to live his own life.
Lance always had a passion for joining a Guild. But because he was so young and had no one to come with him, he could never make a Team and never joined a single guild. The reason why he wanted to join one is to have as many adventures possible so that he could tell many stories to his friends. Also, he wanted to chance to meet the Togekiss who saved him, as his mother told him about. Maybe he'll be able to join soon, since fate can play his hand on every moment.
Team: None at the moment. Guild Affiliation: None at the moment. Main Theme: Dose of Innocence
Personality: He gained the nickname "Fuse" because, well, he's got a short fuse. He's got a small temper, but if something truly eats at him, it doesn't take long for him to get angry. However, it takes something BIG to get him angry. Something like someone getting mugged in an alley, or a brutal four versus one battle. He's normally pretty relaxed, and is happy to help out someone in need. Other than his quirks, he's a pretty normal young Luxio. Except... he considers himself an outcast from his tribe due to his many failures, and has decided not to return until he feels he has redeemed himself.
Backstory: He doesn't remember much about where he was born, they didn't stay there long. He was born to parents in a nomad Luxray Tribe, always on the move across the Desert Continent. His childhood was a fairly normal one, except for one thing: a long standing feud between his tribe and a tribe of Manectrics and Electrikes who lived on the same land. Almost every day there was some kind of battle raged. This was the one thing he hated about his family, which helped lead to his short temper in these situations.
Eventually he became old enough to set out on his own, which was kind of a right of passage for the Luxray Clan. He was sent out to find an artifact that belonged to the Luxray Clan, which was stolen by the Manectric Clan long ago. He tracked the artifact across the Desert Continent, but failed to find its location. Eventually, the trail went cold.
He came upon a rather large town, though, and found out about Pokemon Law Enforcement. He applied to become an officer, where he trained and eventually evolved into Luxio. However, he failed when his attitude was put to the test in a number of scenarios. Another failure. He'd failed his tribe, and he'd failed himself. He wouldn't return until he had righted his wrongs, he decided.
After that, he traveled the land alone. He'd grown used to it by now. At least, until his supplies were stolen by a gang of Outlaw Pokemon. It looked like he was finished. But he would be saved by Guildmembers from the Folio Town Guild. They brought him to Folio, where he finally had a chance to right his wrongs. He would end up joining the Guild as a solo member, not wanting to burden anyone with his personal dilemma. And that has been where he's stayed ever since.
