It is a dark room, lit up by tens of hundreds of computer monitors. On a balcony overlooking the room stands a single man. His features are blocked by the darkness. His smile, however, is not. He is staring intently at the main monitor, on which is an ancient inscription and its translation.

"...The dragon granted his request, and in a single day, every war raging across the land was ended. The King, who had summoned the great Dragon, now stood as the most powerful king in the land, the true ruler of the land."

Yes, this was part of the Legend of The Dragon King and the Ten Heroes, but it was the part he was most interested in. The image disappeared, and in its place were three shadowy figures. "You know your mission. This power will be ours, and soon shall Viore!" The figures bowed, and blinked off screen. The man turned from the balcony, strolling calmly through a door behind him.

Intro
[Welcome to the Viore Region!]

The Viore Region! A region like none before it, full of myth, legend, and known for its abundant numbers of Pokemon like none other. Trainers flock here every year in search of adventure and challenge. By sea and by air they come, hoping to better themselves and one day become a Pokemon Master.

It is in New Amber Town, a hub for the Viore Region, where trainers both old and new begin their Pokemon Journeys. No one knows exactly what awaits them, but then again, what's the fun in knowing? Learning is part of the journey, it is the journey, and the newest batch of trainers setting foot into the land of Viore will soon learn more than they ever thought possible...

Lily Meadows
[Johto Flight 168 - Bound for Viore International Airport]

It had been a long few hours to say the least. A young girl, about ten years old, stretched and yawned as she woke up from her nap. This was Lily Meadows, a new trainer who was more than ready to get going on her Pokemon Journey. Of course... they had to land first. Her father sat next to her. He looked over as he saw his daughter stirring. "Enjoy your nap Lily?" Lily blinked a few times and looked over at her dad. "Slept like a rock, as usual. How much longer?" Her question would immediately be answered.

"Attention Passengers, this is your captain speaking. We are making our final descent into Viore International Airport. At this time make sure your seat belts are safely fastened and your tray tables are in the upright position as we make our descent. Thank you." Said the Pilot over the Intercom System. Everyone slowly did as they were told. Lily, in the window seat, took a gaze out and looked at everything she could see. Some town this was, this place might rival Goldenrod in scale! She wondered what kind of adventures she'd have here, new friends she'd make...

The sudden bump from the plane hitting the runway shook her out of her quick daydream. Slowly they rolled into the terminal where one of those walkways was attached to the plane. Finally the pilot spoke again. "We have arrived at Viore International Airport, you are clear to depart. Thank you for flying Johto Airlines." Everyone started standing up and gathering their things from the luggage compartment.

Lily grabbed a yellow backpack and started to leave when her dad put his hand on her shoulder. "You sure you don't want me to come?" Lily nodded. "Yeah, I'm not a little kid anymore, dad. I can do things on my own!" Her father smiled and nodded, and went back to gathering his things. Lily, meanwhile, joined the line disembarking from the plane.

Brent Ignia
[New Amber Town]

After a long car ride, he finally set his eyes on New Amber Town. This is Brent Ignia, a now ten year old soon to be Pokemon Trainer. His dad was driving the car, and his partner, a little Cyndaquil, rode on his shoulder. "Well, I know the ride was long, but we're here." Said his father, pulling their car into a nearby parking lot. He got out and Brent was a little confused. "We're walking from here? Isn't the lab on the other side of town?"

His father chuckled. "You're going to be a Pokemon Trainer in just a little while, Brent. You'll be doing much more walking than this. Besides, when you're riding in a car, you miss some amazing sights." Brent accepted this. "You do have a point there." He got out and started walking alongside his father. He was taking them down the scenic route, along the outer edge of town. This path would take them by the Viore International Airport, it seemed. Probably hundreds of new trainers and coordinators flocking to Viore today.

He'd never been anywhere but Viore. His brother, whom he got the Cyndaquil from, had traveled most of the regions, currently traveling through Johto. He'd told him of the journeys, but he always wanted to see the world for himself. Now he might finally get that chance. Being a Pokemon Trainer could take someone just about anywhere. Of course, going alone would be boring. He wondered if he could find someone to go with him...

Leopold had finally arrived all the way from Longsand Island to the Viore International Airport for one specific reason, one conveniently explained by the intercom.

Hoenn Flight 956, Hoenn International Airport to Viore International Airport has arrived.

"Anna! Oh my gosh it's been so long!" A man no older than 20 called out and ran up to a young, very well dressed woman. The two were both well dressed but when Anna was in the room, she stole the show being a cutting edge fashion designer. Leo grabbed his sister in a tight hug and upon releasing, uncreased alll the wrinkles he created in her stunning dress. His sister was coming through a connecting flight and upon learning that Leo had a new partner to participate in contests with, had to make it a costume. The two had already exchanged a few emails with the new Noibat's measurements as well as those of himself.

"Oh Leo it's been too long, how are you here in Viore? I have a client here, she says it's amazing and I trust she isn't wrong? Also where is the lil' cutie?" His sister said, putting a hand on his cheek, feeling for any stubble. She was a very strict person when it came to looking nice, the slightest bit of stubble and she may have taken out a razor and started shaving his face in front of everybody, but Leo anticipated all of her tricks and went to a barber right before and got a shave and a haircut. He visited a tailor as well and made sure his pale purple vest matched his deeper purple pants and dress shirt well, it was made special to match Noibat afterall.

Leo reached into his pocket and pulled out three luxury balls, the only pokeball's he bought, and tossed it in a very flamboyant manner releasing Lilligant, Banette and Noibat into the airport, the first two immediately hugged Anna while Noibat flitted about confused about the whole situation. "This is him, and oh! Looks like Lila and Carrie remember you! Oh and this little guy here is Libera!" he said, scratching the Noibat under it's chin. It let out a little 'noii' and flapped around. Other, non-first class passengers were starting to get off, and Anna was on connecting flights to Sinnoh and only had so long before she had to leave.

"Okay, sorry honey but I have to make this quick, here's a little sweater for Libera, a scarf for Lila and a nice little onesie for Carrie to sleep in. I also made you this for your next contest, don't you dare get it dirty or I will send a mob of angry models who would kill for that suit after you and you do NOT want to piss off models, trust me. They're ALL bigger than you. Tata! It was nice to see you again baby brother, bye Carrie, Lila and soooohohoho nice to meet you Libera!" she called out as a man in a suit and sunglasses gestured for her to get into a golf cart like vehicle. She kissed Leo on the cheek and gave a quick rainbow colored pokeblock to the Noibat before hopping in and speeding off, leaving Leo covered in random articles of clothing of wildly varying sizes and one box labled "Prynce" in a fancy font. Having a sister in the fashion industry was certainly useful for Leo's line of work.

Leo sighed and looked around, the sea of people was thinning and a girl with green hair caught his eye, she couldn't have been older than 10. She looked like the happiest person in the world right then. She was probably about to start a journey, she had the same look his brother had when he left for the first time with his Treeko. It had been almost 28 years and his brother was still out somewhere with his Sceptile doing something amazing. And then there was Leo, wondering how he was gonna get 5 ribbons in 5 months without any pokemon to win him a Tough or the dreaded Cute ribbon to get into the grand festival. Much like the girl's hair color, Leo looked strange in the crowd covered in multiple sets of clothing, a Lilligant holding onto one of his hands, a Noibat snuggling into a pile of clothes in his hands and a Banette trying to stuff itself into a onesie by jumping around him in a circle. Something told him today would be more interesting than previously thought.

Monday Mallory

[Sinnoh Flight 668 - Bound for Viore International Airport]

Monday woke from her fitful nap with a start, rubbing the sleep from her eyes with a scowl. She'd been having a nightmare; not a wonderful omen for her first day of a journey in a new region.

She'd woken up at just the right time, however; within minutes of her awakening, the pilot announced their arrival at Viore International Airport. Without waiting for the seatbelt light to go off, Monday leaped from her seat and dragged her bag from the overhead compartment. She wasn't about to dither around like the rest of the plane, oh no.

A flight attendant spotted her and hurried over, all professionalism and smiles. "Ma'am," he called. "If you could please wait in your seat until the capta--"

Monday cut the poor man off with a sharp glare. "And why the hell should I?" She snapped, slinging her bag over her shoulder. "We're not gonna crash pulling into the stupid parking spot." As if to prove her point, the light dinged off, and the pilot began the usual spiel thanking the passengers for the patronage. Without a second glance, Monday began muscling through the crowd of people getting to their feet, silencing any complaints with nothing more than a nasty look.

As Monday emerged into Viore International Airport, she reached to her belt and detached her Duskull's pokeball, releasing the Requiem pokemon with a shower of decorative sparks. "Ok Asystole, looks like the first gym's in Riviera, so let's hurry up and get moving."

Asystole gave a nod and floated up to rest on her trainer's head, glowing red eye scanning the crowds as Monday strode towards the entrance.

AMBER KREE
[Unova Airs Flight 255 - Bound for Viore International Airport]

Amber tucked her cap lower until it covered her narrowed eyes, but this act failed to hide the disgruntled snarl playing on the corners of her lips. For the umpteenth time since she entered that dreaded excuse of a vehicle, the person that made himself comfortable on the aisle seat next to her had lolled his head onto her shoulder. His snoring echoed loudly above the usual plane chatter and she felt something wet drip through the cotton of her uniform. Her left eye twitched and her hands itched to grab the Snorlax-ish slob by the collar of his clothes and throw him out of the plane, sans a parachute nor any flying Pokemon.

Before she could even begin to attempt pulling through on such thoughts, a loud buzzing erupted from the overhead speakers. Thankfully, it was enough to stir the man from his dreams - of cakes and icecream, if the occassional mumbling was any indication - and he had the decency to sit upright to listen to the captain's announcement.

"Good morning, beloved passengers. This is your captain speaking. I am pleased to announce that we will be arriving at Viore National Airport within ten minutes. Please keep your seatbelts on as we proceed with the landing procedures. Good day to you all."

At least the captain was a cheerful fellow. Amber couldn't help but crack a small smile at that and she peeked through the window, the smile turning into a full on grin as she saw the ground coming closer. While she heavily favoured travelling by ship, this one flight was not as bad as she expected if only her seatmate had been a different person. The soft bump that signalled that the plane had hit the ground startled Amber quite a bit, but she didn't give any vocal indication of it aside from a silent gasp.

When the aircraft stilled and they were given the signal that it was okay to stand and leave, Amber bolted from her seat - almost forgetting to grab her only baggage, a well-sized pack, from the overhead compartments - and made her way out the rear exit before anything worse could happen with the man she shared the flight with.

Taking her first steps into Viore land, Amber's first thought came to the security around the establishment. It was tight, and she valued the way the guards diligently checked the passengers, but she still thought her division handled procedures much better. It was an inherent bias, and she knew that it was something she would never truly shake. With a small smile to herself, she headed out of the airport proper.

She tucked her cap to shield her eyes from the glaring sun and scanned around the area before her. The sign declaring 'Welcome to New Amber Town' was the most prominent, and had her wondering. The town was called New Amber, and this place - this region - would be her foray into something so completely new and foreign to her. It was almost laughably ironic.

Still, her fingers brushed the solitary Pokeball on her belt. Aster, her Snivy. Her partner. She had to do all she could to grow stronger, as a police officer and as a Pokemon Trainer. She smiled and searched around for her next destination - a PokeCenter, a place she had never before prioritized as a location but now knew that it would be invaluable. It wasn't hard to find as a number of people carrying around their Pokemon regularly walked in and out of a prominent building.

She glanced down at her Pokeball. "This is it. I swear, I won't let either of you down."

Milli Maxi
[Kanto Skyway Flight 295 - Bound for Viore International Airport]

Milli wasn't the biggest fan of flying machines, maybe it was because she was raised in a garden gym but she felt that flying was a natural thing that humans co-opted artificially. Milli did love to fly though, mainly on her beloved Tropius, but she was a fan of all flying pokemon but found pilot and birdkeeper trainers a little obnoxius. The seats on the plane were comfortable and the aeroplane food was lovely, these were the advantages of booking flights from Saffron City, and because she had the Marsh Badge she enjoyed many privileges in Saffron, including discounts on international travel, which for an adventurer like her was absolutely perfect.

The plane would be landing in Viore soon and Milli thought to herself what sort of pokemon were native to the reigon and if she could catch anything rare to keep as a souvenir of Viore. Out of her bag she started looking through a stack of photographs which were her in different land marks all over the world, The Celedon Department Store, Sprout Tower in Violet City, Mt Moon, The Sevii Islands... the list went on and on, she had explored a vast range of locations and her thirst for seeing more only grew stronger, setting foot in New Amber Town couldn't come fast enough!

Pent Faraday
Shinon the Lucario, Aenir the Froslass, Jill the Skarmory
[Air Kalos Flight 522 - Bound for Viore International Airport]

A Lucario looked out a small aircraft window, his eyes tracing over the landmass below. He let out a soft grunt. Sitting to his right was a thin man with kind, brown eyes. A warm smile crossed the man's visage as he looked over his partner. "Ah, Shinon... Are we close?"

Shinon nodded, his gaze still fixed upon a distant location. The Lucario's Aura resonated within his Trainer. It should not be much longer now. Closing his eyes, the man—Pent—let out a relieved sigh. "Thank you... that's good to know. I'm quite exhausted from this flight, but..." Pulling a blue device from his pocket, he looked it over for a few moments with a small frown creasing his brow. "...Ah, it's only 2:00... in the afternoon. Well, I suppose the long repose I crave will have to wait. How about you, would you like to rest?"

Thinking over the man's words for a moment, Shinon then shook his head. I should be fine, for now. Besides... Turning to look over at his Trainer, a wide grin crossed his maw. Without me, you will be lost as soon as we arrive.

Pent's face turned beat red as he tore his eyes from his Pokémon. Retreating to his thoughts, his gaze shifted to the ground. H-He's right...

As if perfectly timed, the awkward moment was interrupted by the loud boom of the PA. "Ladies and gentlemen, as we start our descent, please make sure your seat backs and tray tables are in their full upright position. Make sure your seat belt is securely fastened and all carry-on luggage is stowed underneath the seat in front of you or in the overhead bins. Thank you." Above him, both Pent and Shinon could see the No Smoking Sign blink. Another announcement boomed, this time a feminine voice could be heard, "Ladies and gentlemen, we have just been cleared to land at Viore International Airport. Please make sure one last time your seat belt is securely fastened. The flight attendants are currently passing around the cabin to make a final compliance check and pick up any remaining cups and glasses. Thank you."

A smile crossed Pent's features. "It seems you were correct my friend. It should not be much longer indeed. Ah! Would you mind if I leaned over to look out with you?"

Shinon shook his head, letting out a soft snort. Of course I do not mind. Come, have a look.

Leaning over Shinon's shoulder, Pent looked to the small window, his eyes tracing over the new land, a large smile overtaking his features. "Incredible... this is Viore... Already I can tell it will be much different than Kalos. I do hope we can adjust." Smiling, Shinon replied, I have no doubts.

Once again, a woman's voice could be heard across the loud speakers. "Ladies and gentlemen, we have just been cleared to land at Viore International Airport. Please make sure one last time your seat belt is securely fastened. The flight attendants are currently passing around the cabin to make a final compliance check and pick up any remaining cups and glasses. Thank you."

Leaning back into his seat, Pent's gaze wandered over to the No Smoking Signal. "I'm... nervous."

Wide-eyed, Shinon looked over to his Trainer who was already turning more pale than usual. The Lucario could feel Pent's change in Aura, and let out a soft sigh. You're afraid of landing...? Shinon's red eyes searched over his Trainer for a moment before putting his paw upon Pent's hand. With his gaze forcefully locked to Pent's his warm aura permeated through him. If anything happens.. I will protect you. Do you understand?

Weakly, the pallid man shook his head. A minute or so later, Pent felt a jolt as the plane landed roughly on the runway. He let out a surprise shriek which was quickly muffled by his sheer terror. Shinon rubbed the terrified man's back, worry furrowing the Pokémon's brows.

The booming voice of one of the Flight Attendants could be heard throughout the cabin. "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Viore International Airport. Local time is 2:18PM. For your safety and comfort, please remain seated with your seat belt fastened until the Captain turns off the Fasten Seat Belt sign. This will indicate that we have parked at the gate and that it is safe for you to move about. Please check around your seat for any personal belongings you may have brought on board with you and please use caution when opening the overhead bins, as heavy articles may have shifted around during the flight."

Slipping down in his chair, Pent could feel his stomach twisting in anguish. Shinon shook his head, frowning down at his Trainer. Pent...

Waving off his Pokémon he let out a groan. "I-I'll... be fine... in a minute."

Once the aircraft pulled into the gate, the final message was broadcast over the PA, "On behalf of Kalos Airlines and the entire crew, I’d like to thank you for joining us on this trip and we are looking forward to seeing you on board again in the near future. Have a nice day!"

Bolting up in his seat, Pent lurched forward, pawing around for an emesis bag. Worry overtaking his expression, Shinon cocked his head at his frantic Trainer. We're not moving anymore... Take a deep breath, everything is going to be all right.

Covering his mouth, as he was unable to find a bag, Pent attempted to speak, "U-Urk..."

Those on the aircraft were now allowed to disembark. A few passengers trickled down the rows, alerting the other less attentive passengers that they could now leave as well. Pent and Shinon, however, choose to wait for the crowds to pass. Mostly—if not entirely—because they were both fairly certain Pent would vomit as soon as he moved.

Sergei Samsonov

Sinnair Flight 668 - Bound for Viore International Airport

Sergei shifted his hat back above his eyes and glared up at the intercom speakers as the jingle came on. He had never been one for sleeping on airplanes, something about the white noise, and ever so slight shifts in in balance while in the air made for a disastrous combination of staying up the whole flight. For the past eight hours the best he could muster was whatever sensation existed just before people went to sleep, his unshanka pulled over his eyes in a fruitless attempt to help the process along.

"Ladies and Gentlemen as we begin our final descent into Viore International Airport we ask that you check just one last time to make sure that your seat belt is securely fastened, your tray tables are up, and your seat-backs are in the full upri..." Any attention Sergei was paying to the captain's regulations faded as he began to go through the motions of setting everything in order. He kicked his bag under the seat in front of him a bit, double checked his seat-back. This was only his second time flying, and the first had been earlier that day connecting from Snowpoint to Veilstone, Sergei already didn't like it. Why would anyone pay what frankly was an ridiculous fee to fly in a claustrophobic cabin for hours on end, when they could simply train a Pokemon of their own to fly them from place to place? It was a mode of transport meant for beginners and non-trainers, and knowing that made Sergei dislike it even more, as if it were some kind of reminder that he wasn't good enough yet. He gave an exasperated sigh under his breath, as the plane approached its destination, and the mechanical procedures for landing began.

Eventually the plane skidded along the runway and came to a halt, docking in one of the airport gates. "Welcome to Viore International Airport, the local time is 2:18 PM. Remember to check for any personal belongings you may have brought on board with you, and please remember when opening the overhead bins that their contents may have shifted during your flight. On behalf of Sinnair, welcome to New Amber Town and welcome to the Viore region."

Catching a quick glimpse out the window as he stood up and grabbed his backpack, Sergei wondered how such a town came to have such a massive airport, but this train of thought was quickly interrupted. A girl started violently pushing and shoving her way to the front of the plane, being in an aisle seat Sergei bore a bit of this as she passed, and simply scowled. The same girl had been making a ruckus earlier about getting off the plane before everyone else. "What an entitled brat." Sergei thought, despite the girl being probably around his own age, "Some people have no patience." Waiting in the long line to disembark the plane was certainly not what he wanted to do, but he had no desire to fight some random stranger on this flight, especially now that most of them were already visibly frustrated with what had just happened. Eventually he came to the front, looked blankly at the flight attendant who thanked him for flying, and headed out the gate. Scanning the airport signs above for clue as to where he should go next.

Celes Elwyn
Ranulf the Dragonite, Mist the Dratini
[Ocean - Approaching Viore]

Huddled against her large, orange father-figure, Celes moved her head from against the Dragonite's neck to peer down at the region coming into sight below her. "Wooooow, this is Viore! O-Oooh! Ranulf, that's a volcano isn't it? That's a pretty big cluster of islands, too."

Continuing his set flight path, the Dragonite would glance at the volcanic island for a moment before fixing his gaze upon the larger region up ahead. <I want to say that volcano is called Mt. Magma, if I remember that map correctly. Why didn't you take it, again?>

Celes let out a soft whine, "It's more fun if you explore without knowing where you're going! Sheeeesh."

Grunting, the Dragonite would reply, <Right, of course, what was I thinking? ...at least I memorized it, for the most part. Now Celes, we're going to New Amber Town. That's where you'll meet your first professor, and he will give you a Pokédex. You're not going to get anywhere on your journey without catching Pokémon, so you should ask him for a few Pokéballs.>

Huffing the girl face-planted into Ranulf's neck. "I don't want to catch any more Pokémon! How am I going to talk to them, hmmmmmm!?"

Rolling his eyes, the Dragonite replied, <You do realize, most humans cannot understand Pokémon, right? They do just fine.>

"Do they though, rrreaaaally? Doesn't really sound like much fun if you ask me."

Rolling his eyes, Ranulf replied with a huff. <Fun or not, this really isn't up for discussion. If you can't form a proper team, I'll be forced to take you back to Blackthorn.>

"UGH... fine." Rather put out, Celes gently rested, yet angrily, against Ranulf's neck, staying uncharacteristically quiet for the rest of the flight.

[New Amber Town - Outside the Pokémon Center]

Celes had fallen asleep on Ranulf's back. As gently as he could manage, Ranulf finally touched down in the middle of the city near the Pokémon Center. Given the Dragonite was now standing, Celes slid down his back, landing on the ground. Still, somehow, asleep. Turning around, Ranulf let out a slightly annoyed grunt. <And you couldn't even bother to wake up...> Scooping the small girl into his arms, he looked around with furrowed brows.

Devon Lyton
Shock the Ampharos, Cyan the Marill, Quill the Monferno, Missy the Mismagius, Nasir the Zoroark
[Johto Flight 168 - Bound for Viore international Airport]

A teen boy sat in the window seat of the large airliner, gazing out upon the land mass below him. His brown eyes taking in the Viore regions drastically different geography with a whimsical smile on his face. ....Definitely different than Johto….And not as cold as Sinnoh. I could get used to a place with a warmer climate…..Wonder how everything works here? Does Professor Maple give out starters too? What’s the Gym circuit like? What kind of Pokémon live around the routes?

"Attention Passengers, this is your captain speaking. We are making our final descent into Viore International Airport. At this time make sure your seat belts are safely fastened and your tray tables are in the upright position as we make our descent. Thank you." The voice that rang out of the intercom broke through Devon’s thoughts. With a stupid looking grin, he turned to the man sitting beside him. "So, how do you feel about being able to go to TWO different regions instead only just Sinnoh Nasir? Isn’t it cool?"

The black-haired man the teen had been addressing turned to face him. "It's quite a lot to take in... Sinnoh was quite a bit different than Johto, and I'm certain Viore is going to be the same..." A small, but notable smile crossed his lips, "I suppose we'll meet new Pokémon as well."

Devon sat back into his seat and crossed his arms, still maintaining his smile and eye contact with the swordsman. "Of course we will! I heard that the variety of Pokémon here is better than any other region out there! It’ll be nice to finally see something that isn’t a Sentret or a Starly."

Shooting Devon a wink, Nasir then turned to look out the window beside Devon, "I'm confident we can overcome whatever Gym challenges lie ahead. Do you plan to add another to our team?"

The teen dressed in crimson colored hoodie and dull gray sweatpants turned his head and pressed it into the back of the seat. Staring at the ceiling of the plane as his face scrunched in thought at the question. "Huh. I dunno. You guys pretty much cover the bases for the Gyms in Johto and Sinnoh….But you might not for these ones..." Tapping the side of his head with a finger for a few more moments, Devon turned back to Nasir and waved in a passing manor. "I guess I’ll just wait and see. It all depends on who wants to come with."

Nodding at the teen's reply, Nasir spoke up, "I suppose you're right, it would depend on who we meet. Well, if as you say is true, we should be able to encounter many various types of Pokémon. On that note, do you have any information on this region's Gyms...?"

Devon shrugged and quickly took out his new model Pokégear from his pants pocket and shook it a bit. "Nope. But that’s why we got the internet right? Or if we can’t get Wi-Fi, there’s probably some brochures in the airport or something."

With a sudden bump, the airplane connected with the runway, causing Nasir to jump. Though he's been on a plane before, it was certainly jarring, every time. "We have arrived at Viore International Airport, you are clear to depart. Thank you for flying Johto Airlines."

A slight snicker escaped Devon’s lips as he shoved his phone back in his pocket and patted Nasir on the back. "Looks like this is our stop. Let’s hit it Fuzzy."

[Viore International Airport]

Devon along with Nasir strolled out from a large windowed hallway inside the airport. The brown haired teen now carrying his single strapped white backpack behind him as his eyes scanned a small pamphlet of paper. It was a tourist brochure of the Viore region. The page that the teen’s attention was currently drawn to was the one detailing the many Gyms of the region. A small smirk came to his face as he stuffed the page into his pocket and spun on his heel to look at his companion. "Alright! There’s a whole bunch of Gyms that we can probably handle. Water, Rock, Grass, no problem. A bit of training and we’ll be golden. But for now, let’s just slow it down and check out New Amber. Sound good?"

Holding his fist in front of him, a determined expression washed over Nasir's visage. "You're right. Let us pick up this region's Pokédex. I'm sure the professor can tell us everything we need to know."

Reaching down into his pockets, Devon held up two tiny spheres that enlarged into the size of baseballs. Quickly he pressed the buttons on the front of both Poké balls on his legs and repeated the process with another set of two balls. Four streams of glowing white light darted to the polished floor of the huge building and materialized into the forms of an Ampharos, a Marill, a Monferno, and a Mismagius. All of them had been laying down in sleeping positions, but soon rose up and awake to face their Trainer.

The Ampharos’ head darted around to view the streams of people walking past with luggage big and small, as well as the tiny shops that made up this part of the airport. With an excited grin the Light Pokémon raised his arms and cheered. <Woo! We’re here! Finally! We’re going straight for Gyms right?>

The teen stuffed the shrunken balls back into his hoodie pockets and gestured a thumb behind his back. ”Hey guys. We’re gonna go check out New Amber town! Hopefully try and find the Professor’s place, and maybe go find a new team mate! Let’s rock!”

With that said, Devon and his Pokémon continued on through the Viore airport. Shock slightly lagging behind to let off a ‘pffft’ noise and grin. <Like we need a new team mate! I bet we can steamroll a Gym just like we did with that one in Goldenrod!....Hey! Are you guys even listening to me!?> Shock would add as he jogged to catch up.

The formerly calm black-haired man grew livid at the Ampharos' words. Turning to face Shock, Nasir shot him what could only be described as Mean Look, or maybe even Scary Face. "I'm sorry, did you just casually reference Whitney!?" His temper reaching a boil, the man grit his teeth, "Perhaps we could take down the Gyms without an issue, however, you'd do well not to underestimate a new region." After taking a few moments, Nasir let out an aggravated sigh. Relaxing his stance, he hung his head. "...Please, just... hngh."

While he was being grilled by the disguised Pokémon, Shock was leaned backwards on his heels and guarding his face from Nasir. Waiting for what he expected to be a punch in the nose. But, that never came. Once the swordsman backed off from the Ampharos, Shock lowered his arms with eyes the size of grapefruits and blinked. <Jeez Foxy. Cool it. I was just saying it was easy for us cause Quill just kinda ran around and punched everything in the face until we beat that Whitney girl. I was just trying to ya know…Pump everyone up? Sorry.>

Nasir let out a sigh; guilt began to seep in when Shock apologized.

The Monferno that had been walking with the group looked back behind his shoulder at Shock and sighed. Quill’s piercing gray eyes drilling into the Ampharos. <It wasn’t that easy Shock. We all still got tossed around like Pidgey in a windstorm. We keep telling you to stop letting every win go to your head.>

The Marill among them had bounded back to walk next to Quill and do a 180 to fully face Shock while walking backwards. A bright smile on Cyan’s face. <It’s ok! I see what Shock was trying to say!....He probably shouldn’t have brought up the Goldenrod Gym but he was just trying to be nice!>

Quill’s response to this was a simple shrug as he refaced the hall in front of him, and Shock clapped his flippers onto his chest and pointed down at Cyan with a relieved smile. <See!? Cyan gets me! So now you don’t need to tear me a new one right Foxy?>

Cyan was right. Nasir should not have went off on Shock, but they just simply did not know. Devon knew... sort of, but as far as what truly happened that day, no one knew (well, except Missy). Perhaps that was for the best. Hanging his head, Nasir glanced at Shock for a moment before his blue-green eyes settled on Cyan. "...Apologies, Shock. I..."

With a pause, Nasir's gaze met Shock's. "My experience with the Goldenrod Gym was not like yours. I had to undertake the challenge by myself. I'll spare you the details, but it was not an easy fight. In fact, it was the most difficult of the seven. Do you understand, Shock?"

Shock quickly nodded, and walked ahead of Nasir as the grin came back up on his face. <Ok! Enough of that crap! New place! New adventure! None of the scarring backstory! Let’s go!>

Devon looked back behind his shoulder as he walked, and held up a thoughtful finger. "Just don’t think about it Nasir. I know it was tough for ya, but in the end you pulled through and kicked that Miltanks butt! Besides, you don’t need to be be all freaky about Whitney. You survived a hug from her during that Pokémon Contest remember?"

With an aggravated expression, the disguised Zoroark replied to his Trainer. "...barely."

Devon looked ahead of himself and put both of his arms behind his head. ”Come on man, don’t be like that. We got a whole new region ahead of us! Cheer up. Let’s find our way out of this airport.” With that said, the boy and his team continued their stroll through the Viore airport.

Zachery Gildimer

Blazikin, Horsea, Mankey, Pidove

Zachery, Blazikin, Mankey, Horsea, and Pidove all jogged, or in Pidove's case flew, the rest of the route to New Amber town. The whole group looked winded, almost as if they had run the entire way. Which they had. Because the Pokemon on this route were relatively weak most of the time, Zach had decided to do some training on the way here. Blazikin was running with a heavy pack, as was Mankey; Horsea was having to keep up even though it was normally a sea creature, and Pidove was having to constantly do aerial acrobatics. Zach was the most burdened of all. He was not only carrying a heavy pack Like Blazikin and Mankey, but had his feet hobbled like Horsea's tail, and was occasionally doing a cartwheel, or walking on his hands, or falling on the ground only to roll with it and get back up again.

Ah, New Amber town. This is where he first got Torchic, and was the place where new trainers come to start their journey, and experienced trainers come to start it again. Of course, he was one of the few who did that. Most of the others just continued their travels. He did to of course, but he liked coming to New Amber town to see some of the new trainers, and occasionally helped those having a rough start if they happened to be around. But first, he would have to go to the Pokecenter and rest his Pokemon.

Upon arriving at the entrance to the town, Zach and his Pokemon stopped where they were and fell down, exhausted. Zach pulled out some Pokefood for each of his Pokemon, giving them a quick snack. Blazikin quickly at his and returned to his Pokeball while Mankey, who usually attacked his food took a couple of seconds to rest before grabbing his. Horsea and Pidove each ate there’s over a period of several minutes, Pidove stopping to pester Horsea, and Horsea stopping to defend his food. After the three of them were done, Zach returned them to their Pokeballs. "Good...job...guys. Get...some...rest." Zach then took off his hobble, picked up Mankey's and Blazikin's packs, and started on his way to the Pokecenter. What he saw when he got there made him chuckle. A Dragonite was holding a small girl and looking around, obviously wanting a place to put her, and a bunch of fresh trainers were wondering around getting ready to start their journeys.

Walking up to the Dragonite, Zach said "You can take her inside the Pokecenter you know, they have places for her to sleep. Or if you would rather, I could carry her in for you." It wouldn't be much of a hassle, and Dragonite was obviously concerned. It didn't hurt to make new friends.

Ranulf the Dragonite, Mist the Dratini
[New Amber Town - Outside the Pokémon Center]

@Zardoric
An older Trainer approached Ranulf. Though the brown-haired man was fairly tall—significantly more so than Celes—he was still dwarfed by the massive Dragonite. Peering down, the Dragonite blinked with a slightly confused expression. Opening his maw, he spoke in the Pokémon tongue, <Oh, you're talking to me?> Looking to the Pokémon Center at the man's suggestion, Ranulf furrowed his brows for a moment, deep in thought. <Ugh, I really don't want to let her sleep. This is the first day of her journey...>

Cradling Celes in one of his massive arms, he used his free claw to poke the small child in the ribs. <Celes, you're really making me look bad here.>

Wide-eyed, the sleeping child awoke, a rather startled expression on her face. "AHHHHHHHHH I'M BEING ATTACKED BY A MISDREA—" Looking to Ranulf for a moment, she blinked before scowling at the Dragonite. Giving it a few seconds, the small child burst out into laughter, sliding down the Dragonite's arm to reach the ground.

"We're here already?" Lavender eyes peered around before finally fixing on the brown-haired man standing before her. "Oh, hiya. Were you making friends with Ranulf here while I was napping? I'm Celes!"

Carrie finally tugged the Empoleon onesie o and looked up to Leo with a big smile, bigger than the usual. She was smart, but more often she was a goof. Libera had managed to fall off of the clothes pile, making a cute little shirek before flitting back up and landing on Leo's head. Carrie finished her dancing and looked ready for a nap, pushing the button on her own luxury ball to go do exactly that. Lila was content with just holding his hand, she loved to watch the people walk around. He was an interesting pokemon, never made much noise, even during contests or meals, she kept herself cleaner than Leo (but not quite as clean as Anna, were that possible.).

"Lila, could you hold this for a second? I gotta... Leo said, handing the loose clothing to the Lilligant. The box labeled in fancy gold caligraphy that read Prynce popped open with a satisfying 'psshhhhhh' noise, it's inner hydraulics popping the top up. There were little compartments under a clear plastic sheet that kept his new contest outfit in perfect air tight condition. Along with that were three more compartments, one for the scarf and one shaped like a Noibat torso. Seemed Anna knew Carrie could't resist the pajamas she had recieved and didn't bother to make a compartment for it. Leo grabbed the two pieces of clothing and fit them perfectly into the slots and sealed the brief-case like box once more, the 'psshhh' sound coming back as air was forced out of it to remain air tight. He made his way out of the airport, seeing many sets of trainers on his way out.

He passed by most, but a few in particular caught his eye. The first was a little girl rushing past everyone in a rude manner, she seemed in a rush, and Leo was certain he didn't want to go wherever she was going. Another that caught his eye again was the girl with green hair, maybe 10 or 11, and traveling alone. There was the two men with three pokemon, an Amphoros, a Marill and some other pokemon he had never see before. Looked like a fire type. Those five could get somewhere good in beauty contests, all three of those types could show beauty off well. Then came a boy, no older than 16. He had a fire in his eyes, but the fire was controlled. He seemed almost too serious, and considering he came from the same direction as that rude girl, rightfully mad. Before he could scan the room for more people, Noibat had taken flight

He flitted his way over to the two kids with the Amphoros. "Libera! No don't... Come back!" Leo chased after, dragging Lilligant behind him, she struggled to keep up but kept quiet as usual, reaching the two fairly quickly, and grabbing Noibat bu the scruff on the back of his neck, releasing his hand from Lilligant who quickly grabbed his leg, doing it's best to hide the fact it was panting from that running. The noibait struggled for a second, wiggling all over before surrending and going limp. Leo tossed him back up in the air and he regained his flight, staying behind Leo, above his right shoulder. "Ahaa, sorry about that boys, The name's Leopold Prynce! You two have a very nice looking Amphoros, it's fur is so nice and clean! You two must keep good care of it, I'm sure." The man bent down to pet it without hesitation, a bit of static electricity popped as he reached for it's head. Lilligant moved once again, the leg bending made it hard to hold, and simply rested on of her arms on his back, staring at the Amphoros in silence.

Lily Meadows
[New Amber Town - Viore International Airport]

It was a few minutes later that she had finally gotten through all the airport security. She found the amount kind of strange, Goldenrod didn't have nearly as much. Well, now wasn't the time to think about stuff like that! She had a journey to begin! New Region, New Adventure, New Friends... but where was she supposed to start? An animated sign above the exit to the terminal answered that for her.

Welcome to Viore! If You Are a Trainer and This is Your First Time Here, Head to Professor Maple's Laboratory at the Farthest North Side of Town!

Well, that was that then. "Alright, so all we'll have to do is head over to that lab, right... Oh no, I almost forgot about you!" She grabbed a Pokeball from her backpack, tossed it in the air, and out popped a little Leaf Pokemon Chikorita. She looked around for a moment, until her gaze turned upon her trainer, and her expression soured a bit. "I know, I'm sorry I couldn't let you out sooner. These airlines have some wierd restriction on letting your Pokemon run freely... but that's done with now, this is Viore, our new home!"

The Chikorita looked around once more. This place seemed the same as the one they went to when they left Goldenrod. She wasn't impressed, how different could this place be to their old home? "Well, we're heading up to the Professor's lab to get a Pokedex, then we can start our journey at last! You excited?" This brightened the small grass types mood. <Of Course I am! I've been waiting like forever!> The Chikorita was jumping up and down almost uncontrollably.

"That's the spirit! Come on, our journey has almost begun!" Lily motioned to the door to the terminal, and took off at a rather quick pace. Chikorita followed suit at the same if not quicker pace. Everything had gone perfectly today, nothing could go wrong now... THUD!

Brent Ignia
[New Amber Town - Airport Street]

Brent and Cyndaquil had gone a bit further ahead from their father, who had stopped to tie a loose shoe lace. The duo had diverted their attention to a newly landing aircraft coming in for its landing. "You know, they say humans built aircraft because they were amazed at how Pokemon could fly the skies so freely, that's something I'd believe." The daydream like conversation was halted by a sudden THUD!

Brent went tumbling to the ground with Cyndaquil. Slightly dazed, he looked up to see what, or who rather, had rammed him like a truck. It was... a girl, about his age he guessed from her stature. "Ow... hey, you okay?" He asked, getting to his feet. The girl shook her head for a moment, then slowly got to her feet. "Yeah, sorry about that..." Brent waved his hand. "No worries, I wasn't watching where I was going for a sec. The name's Brent, that's Cyndaquil." He replied, pointing to the fire type who had jumped back to his shoulder. "My name's Lily, that's Chikorita." The girl replied, pointing down to the grass type next to her.

Finally, Brent's dad caught up with him. "Brent, making a new friend already?" Brent looked at his dad. "You could call it that, we kinda bumped into each other here, literally." His dad chuckled. "You know, that's the same way I met your mother. Hahahahaha..." A bead of sweat dropped from Brent's forehead. "Well... oh, you're just coming here to Viore I'm guessing, right?"

Lily nodded. "Yeah, my mother got a job here in Viore, so me and my dad came to live here. I'm just starting out as a Trainer... Oh yeah! I need to go get a Pokedex!" Brent smiled. "Well, just so happens we're heading the same way, wanna come?" Lily beamed. "Really? That would be awesome! Thank you!" Brent's dad took the lead again. "Well, we better get going. If I know Edward, he's probably running around the Lab getting ready for the next big expedition today." Lily seemed puzzled at the remark. "Expedition? What does he mean by that?" Brent smiled and started walking. "You'll find out when we get there." Lily looked down to her partner. "What do you think he meant by that... hey! Wait for us!" She yelled as she jogged after them.

As they walked, they passed by the local Pokemon Center. It seemed the group there was beginning to grow. One thing that caught their attention was a rather large Dragonite with a small girl. "Well, she must be one good trainer to have a Dragonite at that age..." Said Brent's father as they passed by, continuing down the road towards the north side of town. (@Ninian Kinda)

Devon Lyton
Shock the Ampharos, Cyan the Marill, Quill the Monferno, Missy the Mismagius, Nasir the Zoroark
[Viore International Airport]

@Experiment 249
Devon continued to walk through the large hall of the airport as hundreds of people whizzed past him and his team. Though, he wasn't paying too much attention to the crowds at the moment. His mind completely set on seeing the rich sights of the new region. That train of thought was soon interrupted however. A small, large eared bat-like Pokémon had flew in front of his party. Devon halted his stride and shoved his hands in his pockets as looked up at the little Dragon with a friendly smile. "Oh cool. I've never seen one of you before. Did you lose your Trainer little buddy?"

Devon didn't need to wait too long for an answer to his question. A somewhat taller black haired man raced over to pluck the bat out of the air and toss it over his shoulder where it began to hover in the air behind his back. A Lilligant was also with him, and appeared to be trying to hide behind it's Trainer's leg. This new comer wasted no time introducing himself to Devon's party, and bent down to compliment and pet Shock. Devon blinked for a moment as he looked down at the bent over Leo. ...This dudes pretty straight forward....And from the way he's dressed....Looks like another rich guy.

Shock looked up into the odd man's face as he was being pet with a look of pure confusion. The Ampharos' jaw hanging open slightly as his head tilted. <....This guy knows that I don't have fur right? My skin feels closer to touching a tire than any sort of fur. Are his senses out of whack or something?> Despite his confusion, Shock shrugged and continued to let himself be pet.

Devon finally spoke up, the friendly smile still on his face as he watched Shock enjoy the attention for Leo. "Thanks. Shock's not very high maintenance. I just kinda bath him every once and awhile and he's good." Bending down slightly to get a better angle, Devon offered his hand to the wealthy man. "I'm Devon Lyton. It's nice to meet you Leopold. Did you just get to Viore too?"

Nasir the Zoroark
Trainer: Devon Lyton
[Viore International Airport]

@Light Lord@Experiment 249
At the Noibat's approach, Nasir's gaze immediately darted to the potential threat. Well, it would have been a threat until the guised Zoroark realized it was nothing but a tiny child. It was also not a Pokémon he had ever seen before.

Devon spoke up, and Nasir gave a curt nod in agreement as he looked the Dragon-type over. "Most likely, it's... quite young."

Watching as the twenty-something chased after his Pokémon, he was a bit surprised when the man grabbed the little one by the scruff. Holding a hand up, Nasir was about to mention it was fine, but apparently it was under control. A piercing gaze then fell to Lilligant—a foreign Pokémon he was actually familiar with, thanks to his premiere contest. After examining the Trainer, Nasir noted that he would not be surprised to find that he participated in contests as well. That, or perhaps he was a Jason clone (Devon's long-time wealthy friend), time would tell.

Once the inspection was over, Nasir cracked a small smile. Turning to look over Shock, the black-haired man was surprised to hear that Leopold actually thought the Ampharos was well-groomed. Yes, he was taken care of. Maybe he was bathed, Nasir really didn't keep track of those details, but regardless, to hear that from someone decidedly Jason-like? Well, it was a first. Perhaps he really was not all that Jason-like, after all.

At Shock's commentary, Nasir let out a slight groan. "Tire isn't exactly the word I would use to describe your skin, Shock. Beach ball-like... perhaps? Well, regardless..." Smiling, Nasir looked to Devon briefly before focusing back on Leopold. "Leopold Prynce... it's a pleasure. I am Nasir."

AMBER KREE
[New Amber Town - Outside the Pokemon Center]
@Ninian@Zardoric

Headed towards the Pokemon Center, Amber looked around the area. She was amazed at the variety of Pokemon littering the area and the way their trainers seemed at ease with talking to them. Having never stepped foot outside Unova her entire life, what she saw of Pokemon only involved those native to her land and the ones that troublesome tourist haul with them when they head to the region for a vacation. New Amber Town, though, seemed like a haven for all trainers alike and, despite being such a small area, had an air of hustle and bustle that reminded her a little of Castelia.

Perhaps what caught her eye the most was the big Pokemon - a Dragonite, if she remembered correctly - cradling a young girl close to its body. For a moment, panic rose up in Amber's body that the Pokemon might have done some harm or another to the unconsious girl but it was soon replaced with a hint of envy as she realized she was its trainer. Such a young girl with an already powerful trainer. Even the man that approached the duo seemed formidable, and suddenly Amber wondered if she could handle herself around Viore.

Her hand clasped around the Pokeball and she held it up to examine it. There was a slight crack - nothing detrimental, just a scraping of the red paint - from when Snivy had first hatched and she tried to get her inside the ball. Well, she thought, maybe I should still ask someone to look into it. Nodding to herself, she was ready to enter the Pokemon Center and face yet another place filled with budding young trainers and their companions, when a bright red light erupted from the Pokeball and landed on the ground.

Amber's reflexes were fast, but the Snivy seemee quicker. She turned around and prepared to chase the rogue Pokemon, mentally cursing to herself for allowing it to happen in the first place. Aster, for her part, seemed more interested in the Dragonite and the people surrounding it as she made a beeline for them. Amber followed, eyes firmly on the small, green Pokemon and debating whether she should call out. It had never done any good before and it would only cause a scene, which would disrupt most of everyone and she didn't want to be troublesome-

THUD!

Amber felt a body collide against her and she cringed. While she was strong enough to remain standing, she didn't know if she could say the same to the person that hit her. Amber frowned as she tried to look over the other person's body to see if there were any visible injuries. She held a hand out in case they needed help standing.

"I apologize. Are you hurt?" she asked, worry lacing her words. She spared a quick glance over to where she last saw Aster and found the Snivy attempting to scale the Dragonite's body. With a slight flush to her cheeks, she shot the trainers an apologetic look. Great, just great.

Ranulf the Dragonite, Mist the Dratini
[New Amber Town - Outside the Pokémon Center]

@Zardoric@Leoven
There were so many people—way more than Celes was used to in fact—including the man she was talking to, another what looked like a girl, and a group of kids with their... dad? Celes wished she remembered her dad, but it was okay! She had Ranulf. Ranulf made an excellent reluctant father.

A Snivy began to scale Ranulf, which caused the behemoth to look down at the tiny green Pokémon. <Celes, I do believe there's a friend for you to play with. It's on my leg.>

Wide-eyed, Celes completely forgot she was talking to someone, and instead spun on her heel to face the Dragonite. Watching as the small Pokémon climbed Ranulf's thigh, Celes shrieked with excitement, "CUUUUUUUUUUTE!" Still squealing, the small girl rushed over to peer at the Grass Snake Pokémon. "Waaaait! What is it!? Suddenly calm, she blinked a few times. "I've never seen that Pokémon before."

Letting out a groan, Ranulf put a paw to his forehead. <...You haven't seen a lot of Pokémon before. To answer your question though, I don't actually know. Maybe you should ask it yourself.>

"LITTLE GREEN POKÉMON WHAT SHOULD I CALL YOU!?"

Leo felt his hand touch the top of Amphoros' head and began to stroke his... wait. "That's uh, that's not fur. How did I not notice that? And just because a pokemon isn't high maintenance doesn't mean you can't treat it to the best, you should see my Banette, if she wasn't taking a nap she'd show you how a low maintenance pokemon can really shine if kept looking good! Leo said with a proud chuckle, as if Banette somehow benefited from those words. The chuckle died off fast and was replaced with more words, as he spoke in a more regal tone. "Anyways, Hello Devon, Nasir. I haven't just arrived, I was just greeting my sister here, she had a connecting flight coming in from Hoenn but had to be off. And this little cutie is a Noibat! He's a dragon flying type, and even if he's not the most experienced yet, he'll be contest ready in no time I'm sure. He winked at the Noibat and held his hand out flamboyantly under the Noibat who did a quick loop around it before flashily spreading his wings and letting out a joyful cry.

"So is this guy's name is Shock? I heard you say that and something about a tire, and I would agree it's not much like a tire." Leo found himself talking all of his ideas at once, again. He wasn't one to leave anything on his mind unsaid when it popped up. He gave the Amphoros a little smile and stood back up, reaching behind his back and scooping the hiding Lilligant in the air, spinning her on the way up. H was holding her in front of his torso easily as she was only about 3 and half feet tall, maybe a little taller. A small child basically.

A look of comfort overcame her as she was lifted up into the coordinator's arms. She turned her head to look at the two trainers and their pokemon, making the best happy expression one could with just eyes. "This is Lila, she's a little quiet but she's nice." as he said this, a few flower petals surrounded the two in a mini-tornado. They circled three times and then drifted slowly to the floor. "Thanks, Lila, haha. I'm guessing you guys are new here and making your way to the pokemon center, right? I don't want to keep you waiting to start your next big adventure. You ARE adventurers, right? You look the part, the hair, the clothes, the pokemon of various types, you guys just scream traveling adventurers." Leo said whistling a little. The Noibat stopped it's constant flitting and flew to land on his shoulder. He set the Lilligant down and returned her to her luxury ball, and tossed a second in the air, returning the Noibat as well.

Devon Lyton
Shock the Ampharos, Cyan the Marill, Quill the Monferno, Missy the Mismagius, Nasir the Zoroark
[Viore International Airport]

@Experiment 249@Ninian
Devon listened intently to what Leo had to say. He really seemed to think highly of his Pokémon's appearance, and that got Devon thinking until the Noibat was pointed out to him. The teen's brown eyes scanned the little bat, and a short laugh came from his mouth as the Flying-Dragon type showed off. "Noibat huh? He is pretty cute. Bet he'll be a huge hit in Contests."

When questioned about Shock, Devon quickly nodded and rubbed the back of his head. "Uh-huh. I dunno where the tire thing came from, but to me he feels kinda like a big balloon." This caught Shock's attention, and caused him to look back at his Trainer and grin. <Was that a fat joke? Come on Devon! That one was waaaay too easy and you know it!>

Once Leo asked about what he and Nasir were up to in Viore, Devon grinned and pumped his right fist near his side. "You could call us that. I'm just coming in from Johto to do a bit of everything for a few weeks. Gym battles, Contests, sight seeing, I'm up for whatever these guys are up to really." The crimson hooded teen would say as his left hand gestured to Nasir and the rest of his Pokémon behind him. The Marill, Cyan, bounced on the tips of her little blue feet a bit and waved to Leo, the Monferno, Quill, crossed his arms and scanned the new comer with his sharp gray eyes before giving a short wave, and finally the Mismagius, Missy, floated close to Devon's right shoulder and laced her arms to bow.

Looking back at his party, Devon grinned and pointed to each as he named them off. "That Marill is Cyan, that Monferno's name is Quill, and this Mismagius here is Missy by the way since we're naming off our buddies."

The brown haired teen's head then turned back to Leo as he put his hands back in his pockets. "But yeah, we're probably gonna stop at the nearest Center in a bit to get more info about this place and maybe sign up for the Gym circuit. You seem really into keeping up Pokémon's appearances, and you mentioned you're getting Noibat ready for them, you're super into Contests right?"

Nasir the Zoroark
Trainer: Devon Lyton
Illusion Status: Decidedly Human
[Viore International Airport]

@Light Lord@Experiment 249
The Zoroark in human guise fixed his gaze upon the Noibat—whom seemed both enthusiastic and well-trained for such a young Pokémon. Given his first impressions, Nasir was less than surprised to find out that Leopold participated in contests. A small smile overtook his features as he acknowledged the Noibat, "I'm certain you will both do well."

Blinking, confusion washed over Nasir as both Leopold and Devon seemed befuddled by the tire comment. After a few moments, Nasir then realized that not everyone could understand Pokémon speech. It cleared up a lot. Though Devon was skilled at reading his own partners, Nasir gathered that the adjective 'tire' was too specific. Shock's retort amused Nasir, causing a smile to wash over his visage.

At Lila's introduction, Nasir gave a courteous nod. "It's a pleasure."

While Devon handled the conversation, Nasir's gaze fell to Missy who had remained silent the entire time. Despite it being a common occurrence, the guised Zoroark felt it best to see if everything was as it should be. The apparent black-haired man flashed the Mismagius a questioning glance.
