I am new here but I have role playing experience
I'm hoping to do something that is close to my heart.
Here is my concept. I hope my newness doesn't turn you away. But instead, my writing draws you near.
Overview
As the war ended Monkey D. Luffy stood on top of the world as the reigning Pirate King, liberating the world from the oppression of the World Government, the Gorosei, and the Celestial Dragons. Everyone present remembered the final sight of the Pirate King; standing on top of Fleet Admiral Sakazuki in triumph and his crew around him. All of the torn from battle with marine and pirate alike looking upon the the man who would bring in a new era to the world. As dawn came upon the battlefield, there they were, the straw hat crew, staring into the sun, backs to those who were present. Luffy, almost on cue, raising a fist into the air, the symbol of the crew's unity. One by one, each Strawhat raised their fist into the air and the survivors of the war did the same. The world was once again United and.........the party ensued.
BECAUSE EVERY GREAT TRIUMPH ENDS IN A PARTY UNDER LUFFY'S WATCH.
That day was the last time anyone had seen the Pirate King and his crew. Where they went, what they were doing, only a few knew that answer outside of the crew. Even those within the Strawhat Grand Fleet knew very little about what happened to the Strawhats. But, just like all events, the "World War", as it was called, became history and the world moved forward as it should.
Later, the World Government had new leaders elected by the masses. Nefeltari Vi Vi was elected by the world nobles as the leader of the world, some years after the war ended. She quickly appointed then, Vice Admiral Smoker to Fleet Admiral and with her help, Smoker reformed the system in order to create a correctly just organization. Members of the Revolutionary army and other influential figures were also added as members of the new marines and advisors to the Queen.
However, all of this, did not stop the evils of the world from doing what they do. Someone always rises up with enough ambition and drive to upset the balance of the world. As it stands now, the second great pirate age is about to happen? What is sounding this off? Well.....you will just have to wait and see.
Premise:
You will be marine recruits who are aspiring to join the new brand of justice, twenty years later. Many of the characters you know of in one piece may or may not be dead. Those things I honestly don't like to reveal until the role play starts and we get to those points but, you will be under the tutelage of former Admiral Coby and at the beginning, you will be put to the test to see if you have what it takes to be a marine and if you can help protect the innocents from the coming threat.
This is for starters. I will add more if there is legitimate interest. I'll answer questions as they come. Some character questions will be answered and others I won't answer because of story, ya!!
