These should be in order of floor. The first is reception and behind the divider wall is Markiel's office. Second is everyone elses office. Third is Seph's office/home. Finally there is the roof. I haven't done the basement.

Now of course these are empty. I didn't want to clutter up the middle floor as I feel you all have a right to mess with your own space however you want. The first floor I'll be describing as best as I can in my first post. The bosses offices are of course private and as such I'll save them for when you get to visit them. Finally the roof is also free to be messed with. I suppose you could also add a small metal staircase between those two levels.

@Witch Cat Oh I wasn't going to ever do the fine detail with minecraft. I just wanted the building for general layout. At most I might put in the front desk because that is something rather built in, but otherwise yeah it's just there to be the walls and stairs.

While I'm obviously no master I think this gives a solid basic idea of what the exterior might look like.

I could make some garbage concept art in Paint or whatever. Looks rad though. I was envisioning a three story house thing, with light blue paint exterior and a modern design, but your design looks rad

That blue building is what I was trying to convey, but with an extra story. Sorry for any confusion

So, since we're publicly advertised as private investigators do we handle any run of the mill cases in order to keep our cover?

@PolyphemusI actually was making a character who has no clue about all of this and handles just those. I'm on the fence though. I feel like they'd just become the butt of jokes and rather pointless in the long run to really even discuss and as such I think they will be a faceless NPC who we won't waste time on.

In fairness we could probably solve a lot of cases with magic. Missing persons for example.

I believe the best course of action is to just have an employee without any discernible magical qualities perform said investigations, like @HeirloomRoses or @Witch Cat. Of course, having supernatural traits wouldn't hurt in such an investigation.

@AdobeFlash but then you end up with two players being unavailable for actual cases.

That is true. The problem is we don't have an NPC that isn't busy with a job. Maybe we turn all non-magic customers away because we're working on a "big case"

@AdobeFlashyeah but what if we get the case while they are on a smaller case. The company isn't going to risk getting a bad name for leaving clients for bigger cases.

Also I think I might have the first post done. I'm literally just at the points of do I feel like I defined Markiel and Seph enough that nobody ends up doing something that goes against them unintentionally.

Markiel is fine, might want to touch up Seph a bit

@AdobeFlash I think I've gotten this to the right point now.

Seph Kane: The Mastermind of the organization. The offices in all the states are managed by minor mages who can deal with everyday goblins and ghosts, but Seph is the one in charge of everything. You may not expect much from straight appearances with his shaggy brown hair and youthful visage, but in his actual presence there is an aura of command and intensity. To stare into his eyes is to look into the building tempest before the storm of the century. He is a highly trained shifter that focused on the creature and enhancer schools. Alongside that he has a rather impressive knowledge of magical devices and weaponry as a hunter. Seph has been in and around magic his entire life and knows damn well the dangers that come with it. He takes his job very seriously, even to the point that he doesn't interact much with the mundane world anymore. He has deeper links to the magical community than even the town he lives in. He's neither anti-social nor rude, but he's clearly left the mundane world for many reasons some obvious like his work others deeply private. All in all he's a good man carrying heavy burdens.

This is much better. It's much easier to tell his personality, so thanks for this. I needed a reference point and I got one. God bless.

@AdobeFlash I knew what it was the whole time, so I'm glad you told me that you didn't get it. It can sometimes be hard for me to tell if people are getting what I think is obvious. (same can happen in reverse. It's a fun part of aspergers.)

I originally intended Coal to be a failed mish-mash of a cat and a witch after a ritual gone wrong. Scraped the idea mid-way though.
