Gin
World Martial Arts Tournament

As he had expected, Gin had no trouble blowing past the preliminarily rounds and onto the first round. Now he just needed to wait his turn and he past the time doing some pushups and other exorcises to keep his energy up. Gin was prepared for his next opponent and he wondered who it would be. No matter he was prepared to take them down and he would come out victorious. The fight that caught his attention was the one between Ally and the old man named Jackie Chun. Gin had a feeling that this fight would be interesting, he could tell that the older man had power and when the ref signaled for the fight to begin, Gin payed close attention to them.

He was taken almost off guard at Jackie Chun's drunken antics and at first thought that the man was merely some crazy clown who had become a drunkard, but he soon saw that the man was going on the offensive against Ally. Gin then heard Shin mention the drunken fist style and now things started to make sense, this Jackie Chun was using deception to fight against his opponent and catch them off guard with powerful attacks by pretending to be drunk, it wasn't too different from how Gin synced his music and dance with his fighting skills. He of course did not put on any music when the man asked, he didn't want to give Ally anymore distractions.

"It looks like this man is better than expected" he said out loud. Just then the solar flare happened and Gin covered his eyes from the bright flash of light, but he still was rendered slightly blind by the technique for a short amount of time. Thankfully it passed after about a moment and that's when he noticed that Ally was no longer in the ring. The woman had been knocked out of bounds and thus had lost the fight. Gin felt sad at this, he had been rooting for her and now he wouldn't get a chance to fight her in the tournament. He heard her mumble something, but couldn't hear her exact words and from the look on her she was clearly upset. Gin walked up to her and gave her a thumbs up with a smile.

"You did really great, I wasn't expecting to see a technique like the you used to try and blind him. He's a very strong opponent so don't get too upset, I'm not even sure if I could beat him myself either" he said with kind tone to his voice and was trying to be comforting.

Ally looked up at Gin and smiled. "Thanks for coming over, that means a lot to me. He really was strong," Ally said. And he really was a cheater, she added in her mind. "I can't wait to see you in the tournament. Think you'll play you're music then?" She was thankful that he didn't play the music during her fight. It would've just added up to her getting even more confused and distracted.

Jackie Chun bowed back to her respectfully, as he quickly left the stage, ignoring the many fighters who tried to speak to him, he didn't have time to answer all of their questions. He had to change back into his alter ego, Master Roshi, so he could approach the group once they left. He did indeed feel horrible about beating his star pupil, but it was something that had to be done. No matter what, Roshi had to make sure than none of his students won the tournament. If they did win, that said student would start to think they made it to the top, the title would go to their head, and they'd start to slack off from training. But if they lost to a mysterious opponent, it would only push them to work as hard as possible, to grow stronger than ever though possible, so they'd be able to defeat the opponent the next time around. This was all apart of his special Turtle Hermit Training. Once he left the building, he quickly ran to the women's bathroom, where he had hid his other clothes.

Kiro's heart sank, as he heard the announcer's call on who had won. He never imagined in a million years that Ally would be the first one to lose. "I guess she did." Kiro almost said in a whisper, as he rubbed his eyes once more to make sure they weren't deceiving him, he was just blinded, after all. Kiro started to make his way over to Ally, but Akita quickly stopped him. "Right." Kiro nodded.

"She may have won if she would've broken him from the very start. It was reckless to let him get so close to her in the first place." Eno reasoned to Samu, as he turned around and left as soon as the match was over with. He didn't have any reason to stick around anymore, Eno already knew the drill. He'd come back to the main building in a couple of hours, along with the other seven competitors. Some of the older students at the Crane School already explained how things would work, so he had a pretty good idea of what was going to happen next.

After a couple of minutes after the last fight, a referee came up to the center ring, as he faced the crowd of fighters. "I just want to thank you all for coming out today, as we now have our eight competitors for the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament. Congratulations to the finalists! We will give everyone of these fighters a couple of hours to rest and prepare, and we then ask you (if you are one of the eight finalists) to report to the main building, behind the ring outside, so we can decide the match-ups for the tournament. Please enjoy the rest of your day." With that, the referee stepped down from the platform, and disappeared in the corner with the other referees, as they all talked among each other.

Samu's tail was wagging furiously when he saw the Turtle student lose. "Yeah! Eno, you can take out all of the competition, especially stupid Roshi's students!" He wasn't upset that he didn't make fight any of the Turtle students because he figured he would fight them in the tournament. Overall, Samu felt amazing just because his best friend Eno was competing with him.

Akita felt an excitement course through her when he asked the eight finalists to come back later. "Kiro, that's us!" Akita said, voice full of enthusiasm, "Oh, Shin, that means you too, huh? Congrats!" She knew how hard Kiro had worked for his place in the tournament and was happy that he made it. Frankly, the shock from her making it to the tournament still didn't wear off. Then she realized everyone was being kicked out, or at least they were just leaving. "Come on, Kiro, we should head back to Master Roshi," Akita told him. "You can tag along too, Shin." The boy didn't seem like he came with anyone else, so she figured inviting him couldn't hurt. "By the way, where did you get the tail?" she asked as they exited.

Once Ally heard the announcement about the finalists and got her nose all patched up, she looked up to see Kiro, Akita, and some boy all leaving the building together. She figured it was time for her to join them and stop feeling sorry for herself. "I have to go, Gin, but listen while you fight, I'll be rooting for you," Ally said, flashing him a smile before catching up with the other Turtles. "I can't believe you two really did it!" Ally told her friends, genuinely proud of them. She then recognized Shin as another finalist and said, "Oh yeah, you made it too, huh? Congratulations!"

Majin Eve

Eve had just finished winning a match against a rather gruff looking figure when she caught the ending of Ally's match, and as luck would have it she blinked when the girl had used an attack she called the solar flare. Eve had looked around in confusion when she noticed that pretty much every fighter remaining in the building had covered their eyes and were saying they were blind. Eve would have said something on the matter were it not for the knock out she seen from the seemingly drunken man who had sent Ally out of the ring.

"wow... that was over in a flash..."

She said in awe at how fast the drunk guy had moved, she turned her head slightly as she could have sworn she heard what sound like someone playing three notes from a drum set.

"what was that?"

She asked herself quietly before she looked back to the remaining fighters as a referee went up to the center ring to make an announcement, Eve made sure to pay attention and as soon as the referee was done she made her way to the main building behind the ring outside. She didn't really need to rest, she had taken little to no damage from her fights, though she was a little hungry.

"hmm...."

Eve looked around her surroundings before she spotted a foot tall rock sitting on the ground, she smiled before she looked around, making sure no one was looking. After having made sure she wasn't being watched she looked at the rock, then her center hair tentacle curled slightly as it's tip pointed at the rock before a pink energy beam shot from it, the beam hit the stone and less then a second later the rock exploded into rock candy and piled on the ground. Eve smiled happily as she kneeled down and scooped up as much as she could, which was all off it, before continuing to the meeting point. When she got there she idly munched on the rock candy she was holding with her left arm, soft crunching sounds coming from her as she did so.

'I wonder who all made it to the finals, I know that drunk guy is one of them... but I wasn't really able to pay attention to the others when I was fighting... oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait and see!'

She thought to herself with a smiled as she continued to crunch her rock candy which made little popping sounds as she chewed them.

Gin
World Martial Arts Tournament

"Of course I'll play my music, it is part of my style of fighting and it helps me stay in the zone since music does have certain effects on brainwaves" he replied to Ally with a grin. He was glad that she was feeling better and not too upset from her defeat, Gin would have been upset if he had been knocked out first. His attention then turned to the ref who gave the announcement of the competitors for the tournament. Gin felt proud of himself and now the real challenges were soon going to begin and he was ready for them.

He was glad to have some time to get his energy back and his stomach also growled from hunger, telling him that it was time to have something to eat. He quickly headed to the dining building of the tournament area where contestants could dine during breaks. He found that there was a great amount of food to eat and dug in. It was never a good idea to fight on an empty stomach and Gin would need to have all of his strength to have a chance at defeating his opponents.

"I wonder how I will be able to defeat that Jackie Chun guy? I guess I'll just need to catch him off guard and take him down quickly" he said to himself as his mind thought of different ways of approaching a fight with the older man.

"Right!" Kiro exclaimed excitedly to Akita, as he then took a moment to think things through. "But what about that Jackie Chun guy? If Ally couldn't beat him, he might give me just a little bit of trouble. Especially if he uses some more of those techniques. And what about the other four unknown finalists? How tough do you think they're going to be? Not that I'm scared or anything." He muttered the last part, as he then turned his attention to Shin. The boy must have been a skilled fighter. Not only did he make it past the preliminaries, but he was able to name the technique Chun had used. Kiro knew he'd make a tough opponent too.

"Yeah! Good job, Shin!" Kiro congratulated him excitedly, as he gave him a short pat on the back. Kiro's stomach suddenly began to growl, as he sighed. "Maybe we can convince the old man to give us some lunch to celebrate making it past the preliminaries." He hoped. Kiro's feelings quickly changed again, as Ally caught up to them. How could they celebrate when Ally, the woman who had been training the hardest, lost because of some dumb luck? "Yeah, I'm just sorry that the three of us didn't make it together." Kiro said aloud exactly what was on his mind, as he sunk his head low.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

After about thirty minutes of walking around the grounds, Eno thought he'd make himself comfortable inside the main temple building. He entered the room expecting to find all seven of his mystery opponents, training intensely for their upcoming matches. Alas, all he found was an empty room, with only a single person inside. Who was just sitting around eating candy! Candy! 'This is one of the eight finalists?' Eno thought almost angrily, to think he was even on the same list as someone like herself. He did question, however, what tricks she have up her sleeve. He was so busy eyeing the Turtle Students, he never got a chance to see any of her fights. With a sigh, he sat down across from her, crossing his legs, as he closed his eyes. Eno began to envision his own fight with Jackie Chun, if it had came down to fighting him, at least. How would he beat him?

'No, he'd definitely be able to counter that.' Eno thought, as he proceeded to go through an entire fight sequence between himself and Jackie Chun within his head, trying to full-proof any and all attacks he would potentially make. Just as he was about to come up with the ultimate finisher to completely destroy the old man, an annoying sound interrupted his train of thought.

'Pop!', the sound made from somewhere in front of him.

Eno slowly opened a single eye, as he irritatingly watched Majin Eve eat her rock candy. He closed his eye back, as he continued to concentrate.

'Now, what about that superhero character? What sort of weaknesses did I find in his fighting style?' Eno thought about Gin and his boxing technique, knowing that he was one of the eight finalists.

'Pop!', the noise was heard once again.

Eno flashed both his eyes opened, as he watched the pink girl continue to chew on her candy. "Could you possibly eat any louder, you pink freak!?" He angrily shouted at her. In truth, it wasn't all that loud, Eno just needed complete silence to properly concentrate on coming up with a strategy for each fighter he could potentially face.

"Yeah, I do too," Akita agreed with Kiro. How could they celebrate their victory when at the same time their companion struggled with defeat?

Ally's smile slightly faulted at the two's comments about her loss, but she quickly recovered. She was determined not to let them down and wishes to keep them in high spirits, though she did wish Kiro wasn't so quick to say everything that came to mind. "Hey, don't worry about me, you guys are in! That's really all that matters." She meant this too. The tournament wasn't a waste because they were competing in it. "You two just better not think you can beat me just because of this," she chuckled and winked. When they were out she scanned the crowds for Roshi. Probably still Jackie Chun... Maybe this is why Master Shen and Master Roshi never got along... she thought.

"I don't know," Akita began, "in your old age I think we have a chance."

"Old age?" Ally shouted in a silly-damatic way, "I am at the age where most people have the most fun in their lives!"

"See, mid-life crisis," Akita whispered loudly to Kiro, though she figured he wouldn't get the joke.

Majin Eve

"Could you possibly eat any louder, you PINK FREAK!?"

Eve's eyes snapped to Eno who sat across from her after having heard what he said to her, her teeth had clenched shut and crushed the rock candy in her mouth turning it to dust. She had only ever been called that out loud once before, and hearing at again didn't bring back pleasant memories. Her brows furrowed slightly as she pouted at Eno with a light glare. Though Eve looked like an upset child, there was... something there in her stare... something dark, sinister, it was as if something else was looking through her eyes and right into Eno's. If only for a moment, like a flash of lightning, an overwhelming aura of intense killing intent came from the girl, and all of it was directed towards Eno. Lesser men would surly have cowered or crumbled from it, but just as fast as it came, it was gone, and Eve continued to eat her rock candy while pouting angrily towards Eno as she tried to eat quieter.

'POP'

'snaP'

'CrunCH'

'CraCKLe'

She was failing at trying to be quiet.

'hmp, jerk, I wont hold back if I have to fight you...'

Eve thought to herself as she sat down with her legs crossed.

(I lied, I will reply as everyone)

"Hey, everyone!" Master Roshi (now back in his black suit) yelled out from afar, flailing his arms above him. "Over here!" He added, as he made his way over to the group. "How did everything go?" The old master questioned, as he stopped just in front of the group, proudly smiling at each of his pupils. "I heard they spent quite some time repairing a hole in the wall. Things must have gotten pretty intense."

Kiro laughed, as he proudly stood up straight. "Yeah, that was one of my fights. They never stood a chance." He assured his master with a smirk. "It's all thanks to your training! Truly! That's the reason why all of us-..." Kiro paused, as his excitement seemed to mellow out a bit, as the boy looked up at Ally. "That's reason why almost all of us made the quarter-finals." Kiro said very glumly.

"What do you mean almost all of you?" Master Roshi questioned, trying his best to act as if he was surprised by this 'new' information.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Eno was taken aback slightly by the girl's glare, but quickly regained his posture. Eno grinned slightly, as he sensed the darkness within her glare. He now understood why she may have made it so far. 'She's just like myself.' Eno reasoned, believing that she too would do anything in a battle to win. She was a cruel person if she needed to be. She was a real fighter in Eno's eyes. He closed his eyes back, as he went back to strategizing.

'Pop!'

Eno's eyebrows came down, and closer together, as he gritted his teeth. Clearly getting a bit more agitated.

'Snap!'

'Crunch!'

'Crackle!'

He shot up, as he then slapped the candy right out of her arm, it spilled all over the floor. "Do not think I won't hurt you right here and now just because we're outside of the ring!" He exclaimed, as he stood over her, crushing a piece of the rock candy under his foot. It was no empty threat, he was well prepared to fight over chewing. He wouldn't let anyone think he was weak by letting even the smallest thing slide.

(maybe Gin's character can stop them, since he is a superhero. XD)

Ally swallowed hard. Why are you making me do this? she asked in her head, anguished. "I didn't make it through to the finals. Some guy named Jackie Chun beat me," she explained, then added slyly, trying to not let the younger ones hear, "He really reminded me of you, Master." Then she looked at the others and to Roshi, now speaking at a normal volume, "But he was a great competitor! Next time I fight Chun, things will end differently, that's a promise."

Akita wondered why Roshi seemed to say his words so harshly, but then remembered that a rivalry was at stake. It was then that she promised herself that if she met one of the Crane students in battle, she would give everything she had to protect Master Roshi's reputation! Then she heard a stomach growl. "Wow Kiro, was that your stomach?"

Before the young boy got a chance to answer, Ally ruffled his hair and said to Roshi, "Master Roshi, these two- three counting Shaz-" she didn't know the boy's real name, "have really worked hard in their fights. I think they deserve a victory lunch in celebration."

Majin Eve

Shock. That's the word that accurately described what Eve felt at the moment Eno slapped her candy from her arm before proceeding to threaten her. Her bewildered expression only stayed for a few seconds after Eno stopped talking before it slowly turned into a frown. Eve closed her eye's as she grabbed a piece of rock candy that had fallen onto her lap, she then slowly stood up to look Eno in the eyes with furrowed brows that clearly were upset at his actions.

'do it...'

Eve's upset expression slowly began to change, her teeth gritting more intensely by the second as the overwhelming aura of killing intent returned almost twice as intense as before. Slowly her hands clenched into fists as her muscles tensed up faintly.

'he deserves it...'

The look in her eyes, it wasn't her own, it was as if they were someone else's. With Eno standing this close it'd be impossible to miss.

'we've done it before...'

It looked as if she was going to lash out at Eno with the fury of hell powering her, but then she snapped out of it, she took a step back and would have taken more but there was a wall in her way. Eve closed her eyes and held her head with a slightly pained look.

'w-what was that?'

She thought to herself in fear as she opened her eyes to look at Eno with a worried expression. And her eyes looked to be her own again.

"I... I'm sorry... please... leave me alone..."

Eve said in a sad tone mixed with slight worry as she looked to the floor, dropping the piece of candy she had picked up, letting it clatter to the floor below.

"Mm, I see, I see. That's a darn shame." Master Roshi replied, as he shook his head in a bit of sympathy for Ally. He felt guilty, but Roshi knew that it was the only way to Ally to work harder to overcome such powerful opponents. "Knowing how strong you are, Ally, it could have been any one of you who lost to this Jackie Chun character." He pointed to all three of them individually with his cane. "It just shows there are still plenty of strong people in the world." Master Roshi nodded slowly, agreeing with his own statement.

Eno looked right back at the woman, as he stared just as sharply. He balled up both of his fists, as he prepared himself to move swiftly if she decided to attack. He saw those same evil eyes as before, which led Eno to believe that Majin Eve would be one of the few, if not the only one, he'd truly enjoy battling. If neither of them held back, neither party afraid of hurting the other, it could turn out to be quite the battle indeed. Most fighters refrain from using their most deadly attacks, as it could end up permanently damaging their opponent, or even killing them. However, Eno always did whatever it took, and however far it took to win, and he sensed that Majin Eve was the same type of fighter. That's what interested him so.

"I... I'm sorry... please... leave me alone..."

"Figures." Eno sighed, as he loosened the grip on both of his fists. He turned towards the door, as he started to walk towards the outside. "You're just as pathetic as everyone else." He reasoned to her, as he disappeared through the doorway. He figured he'd find a nice place outside to rest and think instead. 'I must have been mistaken.' Eno thought to himself, casting one last glance back at the innocent-looking girl. 'I suppose I only hoped she would be a real fighter like myself.' In Eno's mind, if she was anything like him, she'd never be the first one to back down from a fight. He found a nice tree, with just enough shade for him to be hidden away from the sun, the young man quickly sat down, and was once again swept away into the realm of his own mind. He would probably manage to get a decent amount of peace and quiet, as Samu had gone to the dining hall for some lunch. 'Who eats right before a fight?!' Eno angrily thought, as his stomach grumbled. He'd have to wait until afterwards, eating now would only put him in a weaker state. Every fighter knew this important rule!

"I think we do too." Kiro agreed in response to Ally with a smile. "Food! Food! Food!" Kiro chanted, as his continuously raised his fist up in the air. "We want food! Food! Food!" He continued.

"Huh? Shin?" Roshi questioned the new name, as he looked behind the group to find the young boy. "You kids made a friend, huh? But, do you really want to eat right before your big fights?" He asked curiously, as he scratched his bald head. "Fighters don't usually do that, you know." He explained.

"Food! Food! Food!" Kiro continued to chant, now a bit angrier, like a protester.

"Okay, if that's what you guys really want." Roshi sighed, as he pulled out his wallet. Instead of eating in the dining hall, he'd have to take them to a nice restaurant to truly celebrate. A moth flew out of the empty wallet, as he opened it up. "Uh, World Tournament contestants eat free at the dining hall. To the dining hall!" He exclaimed, as he began to march through the crowd. "Food! Food! Food!" He chanted along with Kiro, as he raised his cane up in the air. The group got several confused looks cast in their direction as they continued to march on.

Shin started to dance and clap his hands over his head as he began to say the catchy chant. "Food food food!" Shin chanted in unison with with the others with a huge smile on his face. This is a first time in a while that Shin didn't feel lonely when his master ( the same man who he once called father) had been killed. These guys are cool I can trust them, Shin thought to himself.

Saitama sighed, "I can't believe i lost to a kid," Saitama said as his stomach began to growl."I guess I could get some food," Saitama said while pulling out as small wallet out of his coustume's pockets Saitama flipped the wallet upside down making the money fall into his palm to how much he had. "Huh only 120 zeni? I kind of needed that prize money," Saitama said. "Ahh ha I'll just go to the dining hall maybe they will still let me eat for free," Saitama said having a eureka moment. "Just got to survive until my next pay check, guess that means no air conditioning for awhile huh," Saitama said as some depression started to seep in.

Gin
World Martial Arts Tournament

The food was really good and Gin felt himself be very satisfied with his chow. His mind still was thinking about who his next opponent would be and what to expect with the fight. He thought over the different possibilities. Jackie Chun and Eno seemed to be the most dangerous for different reasons. Eno was willing to go to horrible extremes to win and enjoyed causing pain on others. Jackie Chun seemed to have the most raw power and skill, probably do to his old age. The two in Gin's mind seem to pose the biggest threat him, the others and him seemed to be about even more or less so it could go either way.

With Eno, Gin would need to be prepared for a violent fight, which would end in either of them being horrible wounded and Gin would try to not make it go too far, he was still a hero after all. A good solution would be to end it quickly and try to win as fast as possible. Eno seemed to be an opponent that used speed so Gin would have to counteract that with his own awesome speed. As for Jackie Chun, he would have to hope that the old man fights a couple of the other contestants just get a better look at his fighting style and moves. With how surprising and distracting the old man's fighting skills were, Gin decided that if they fought then he would need to match Jackie Chun in being surprise and distraction.

His mind was pulled away from thoughts of the coming fights when his senses picked up a rise in negative energy and his attention was turned to one of the training areas. He could sense that it was Eno and Eve, but their energy was disturbing to him, both were very similiar in malevolence. Gin got a bad feeling that a fight was about brake out and he was about to get up from his seat when he sensed that Eve's dark energy seemed to have disappeared and gone back to normal. He gave a sigh of relief and slowly sat back down to continue eating his lunch. Gin then noticed the Turtle school students as well as Shin and the other superhero guy approach the the dining hall. He gave them a wave and smiled happily, trying to forget the malevolence he had recently sensed.

"Come get some grub, it's really good and it's bad to fight on an empty stomach" he said to them.

(Also, I don't know if you guys recall, but the dining hall in Dragon Ball sort of looks like a wooden pub of sorts, with a bar, a bunch of wooden tables, sort of a circular room. I can't find any pictures because Dragon Ball doesn't really show off a lot of these areas. Oh, and a cool pianoist-dude in the corner playing some tunes. Can't forget about him. XD)

@Weird Tales @1Hawkeyes @Shazbot21

Master Roshi opened the saloon doors, as he led the way into the dining hall. "Food! Food! Food!" He and the others continued to chant. He quieted down once he got inside. It didn't really look like the type of place where you got seated, you just took a table, and waited for a waiter to come by.

"Do you kids know the weirdo in the tights?" Roshi curiously questioned, as he watched the young man loudly wave at them from across the room. He pulled out a chair on a circular table, eyeballing the young man the entire time, as he took a seat. "He reminds me of that fellow from the last World Tournament. The runner-up, I believe. That young man was also very fond of wearing tights." Roshi explained, as he recalled an interview with both of the finalists of the 20th World Martial Arts Tournament from several years back.

Samu had requested his food be served in a bowl. He scratched his name into the side of the Styrofoam bowl with his claw and looked hungrily at the food. He knew he was supposed to eat more like a human, but food was more delicious like this. Samu wasn't tall enough to stand and eat off of the table, nor did it feel right to sit down on the chair. So, in an effort to meet in the middle, Samu stood on the chair and bent over to eat his food. He ate it straight out of the bowl like a dog would, but people around him wondered why he grabbed the plastic cup to sip water rather than lap it from the cup. Here and there he made snarling noises as he ate. Suddenly, Samu froze and his tail perked up. "Turtles," he growled and looked at them from over his shoulder. He let out a low growl, baring his teeth, then turned back and continued to eat his food.

"Who?" Ally asked, then spotted Gin, "Oh, that's Gin, he's the future father of my children a friend. He's also in the tournament."

One of the waiters stopped by their table. "How many, four? Must be four since the old man doesn't fight. Four okay. What would you like, young man?" he asked, pointing at the starving Kiro, then laughed, "Just kidding! Everyone gets the same dish. I'll be back with the food."

Akita looked at the others and crossed her arms, "Well that was rude." Sure, Master Roshi was old, but she was sure he could beat that waiter up in a fight any day. She wondered what Roshi was going to eat since all he could pay with was a moth, but that flew away earlier. "So Shin, what made you come to the tournament?" she asked. He had to have some sort of reason, especially since he was all alone.

While the others made conversation as they waited on food, Ally sank into her mind. Roshi must've wanted me to lose to train harder, she thought, going off of the words he said when he 'discovered' she had lost, He really did have his reasons, but if he had to enter the fight to stop me, what does that say about my power level? The time was ticking on the clock and I felt like I was up on the judge's scores. If he'd have let me do the Solar Flare technique I would've definitely won. Does that mean I've surpassed Master Roshi? The thought to her was unbelievable, but it was possible. Yeah, or maybe I'm on his level. That must mean it's time to leave. If Master Roshi has taught me everything he wants to teach me, then I have no other choice than to leave. I guess I can head to West City with the zeni I've been saving and see where everything goes from there. I'll need to find a new master. No matter how this goes, I will get stronger and I will make it to the tournament whenever I enter next!

"That's another competitor, huh?" Master Roshi tried to confirm, as he tried to re-position himself to get a better look at the man. "You guys sure are making some powerful friends aren't you?" He laughed.

Before Kiro sat down, he walked over to a nearby table where two burly men were playing some sort of card game together. "Can I borrow this, please?" Kiro asked very politely, as he grabbed onto one of the two empty chairs beside them. "Thank you!" He exclaimed before either could answer, leaving them a bit baffled as to why he had even asked. The quickly went back to their card game.

Kiro sat the seat right in between his and Akita's. "Here you go, kid." He offered Shin the chair, as he climbed on to his own, just as the waiter came up.

"How many, four? Must be four since the old man doesn't fight. Four okay. What would you like, young man?" he asked, pointing at the starving Kiro,

"Oh, me?" Kiro nervously reacted as the waiter called on him, he had to make sure he looked like he knew what he was doing; Kiro didn't want to embarrass himself in front of all his friends. "Yes, I believe I'll have the-" Kiro began in a quite sophisticated-sounding tone, being cut off by the waiter just before he could answer.

"Just kidding! Everyone gets the same dish. I'll be back with the food."

Kiro sighed, as his cheeks began to grow red. He messed it all up just by beginning to answer. The boy began to sink in his chair, trying to disappear from the rest of the group.

Roshi stared across the table, as he watched his pupil (Ally) daydream. 'She still must be thinking about her loss. I should say something really inspirational to cheer her up.' Roshi thought to himself, carefully contemplating his next few sentences. "So, how about all the fine ladies here!? I've never seen such beautiful women before!" He exclaimed, as the old master began to describe their body shapes by making various hand motions in the air. He spent most of the latter half of his life on an island by himself, so it was understandable why he'd be getting so excited.

A tall, cute, blonde woman was just starting to leave the pub until she had noticed Kiro. "Awe, that's so cute!" She exclaimed, proceeding to pinch his cheeks, as Kiro attempted pull the woman off of him (to no avail). "Your grandfather's getting you guys a treat before the big tournament, huh?" She questioned, as she stared up at the other two, assuming they were just one big, weird family.

Master Roshi stared the woman up and down more than a couple of times, as he fixed his tie, and made sure his hat was on properly before speaking. "I'm not their grandfather," He calmly spoke, as a glare became present in his glasses. "I'm their older brother!" He exclaimed, leaning over the entire table to get just a bit closer to the woman.

She giggled, assuming it was a joke, as she continued on to the saloon doors, waving back at Kiro. "See you at the fight." She softly spoke, as she looked back once more before exiting the building.

"See you then, honey!" Master Roshi shouted, as he put his head in front of Kiro's, to be in the direction of the wave, now almost completely on the table (legs and all). He waved goodbye to her, as saliva rolled down his chin.

Gin
World Martial Arts Tournament

Gin raised his eyebrow when he looked at master Roshi after hearing the old man refer to him as a weirdo in tights. He wasn't really wearing tights, but more of costume made up of normal clothing and a black cape. Thankfully since Gin wasn't a hot-headed person and didn't take too much offense to Roshi's comment. He did smile when Ally called him a friend, it seemed like a good idea to make friends with people who are just as powerful he was, that way maybe in the future if horrible disasters happen then there would be chance to get help from them, strength in numbers as they say.

"My name is Gin master Roshi, I must say that your students were very impressive in the preliminary rounds. With some cool costumes you all could make excellent heroes like me" he said with a grin. For Gin life wasn't all training and fun like many martial artists, hero work was a constant aspect of his and he fought the good fight against all evil doers.

"This food is pretty good and it will mean that we'll have our energy for the next round of the tournament" Gin said as he continued to eat after moving to sit close to them.

Shin sat down with the group of his new friends and was very excited for the food. Shin's stomach began to growl a bit he hasn't eaten since the first fight in the preliminaries.
"So Shin, what made you come to the tournament?" she asked. He had to have some sort of reason, especially since he was all alone.
she asked. He had to have some sort of reason, especially since he was all alone.

"My reason...," Shin said as he paused. "Long ago I was trained my amazing master, master Suno who raised me since i could remember," Shin said with a smile on his face, but then his it went away as he continued his story. "But one day a man using techniques from the Crane hermit school challenged him, It was a close battle and my Master looked like he won he had the man begging on his knees but as soon as my master showed mercy he was killed," Shin said as he clenched his hand while looking down revisiting the harsh memories. "I didn't even get see his face," Shin said as anger began to be herd in his tone. "So i came here to find the man who murdered him!" Shin yelled but began to cool down as he saw the waitress coming back with the food. "I'll tell you what happens next, but for now i'm staving!" Shin yelled as he grabbed his chopped sticks and began eating through multiple plates of food at once.

Saitama walked through the doors into the dining hall. Saitama walked up to the bar to see if i could get any thing.

"Sorry sir, but you lost in the preliminaries so your food can't be for free," The bartender said.

"Then what can i get for 120 zeni," Saitama said slappind down the coin onto the table.

"Uhh sir the will only get you some fries and a waternot even a refill just one cup," The bartender explained.

"Ok." Saitama said with the plank expression on his face.
