Is somebody writing? Tia can't get the cuffs off because when she tries they mute her powers when she touches Shiver because Shiver's powers are muted. Evergreen can't heal her for this same reason. The cuffs have to be taken off something has to be able to cut them off.

If Cal can move at 10x the speed of sound then objects he throws could conceivably move as fast or faster

The Navy's Rail gun is using mach 7 rounds to destroy targets

Cal moves Mach 8 if he pushes it and nearly hurts himself he could go almost Mach 9 but that is ill advised
So he moves 1 Mach faster then the rounds

With that in mind he could go grab reporters so they won't be able to televise what's happening then go from there

I doubt they have rail guns because of the enormous amount of power they take to fire only a naval craft can mount them

But now that I think about it we do have a rail gun, maybe even two of the Drifter is magnetic and accelerating objects is something she does all the time the we have Shiver who could power a gauss effect weapon
