Pretty self-explanatory. I'm looking for group of 3~6 players to run a Pathfinder campaign with. I'm a heavily experienced GM, and I'm looking for both new and experienced players. We can do play-by-post on here, or skype in combination with sites like roll20.

I have plenty of campaign ideas to tailor towards what you guys want to play, in sci-fi, fantasy, and modern settings, and I'm open to new ideas.

With enough interest, I'll put together an OoC with links and CS's.

Color me interested. I'm currently inclined towards PbP right now, because of time constraints. Also, I'd recommend discord over skype if that's your plan.

Discord is so much better, but almost no one's heard of it, so skype is an easier first-suggestion.

I'd love to learn how to play Pathfinder. I've done a lot with 3.5, and I've heard they are very similar so I don't think it would be too difficult to pick up.

Also Discord is master race.

Yeah if you're a 3.5 veteran then you'll feel pretty comfortable in PF. Grappling is a lot smoother, some skills are different, and SL9 arcane classes (sorc/wiz/etc) have d6 instead of d4 as HD. Some balancing, though SL9 classes are still broken, and a lot of extra classes beyond core.

@LightHey there! I've always wanted to try out Pathfinder, but never found a group to play with. If you don't mind having a rookie in your midst, I would love to join. I do have some experience with D&D 5e, and I don't mind having to read up on stuff to be prepared or whatever.
Let me know!

Yeah, three's enough to probably get to work on the OoC. Hopefully then, more people will show up there.

I'll get to work.

Honestly, I've always been fond of Urban Arana, which is pretty much "D&D in the modern day." Cars can get magic paintjobs that let them travel along electrical lines, wizards e-mail their enemies .hex files to curse their hard drive, civic construction projects sometimes dig into ancient forgotten dungeons, and all sorts of other fun stuff. I think I've got the book somewhere on my hard drive if you want.

Alternatively, X-Crawl gives the same sort of "modern fantasy" thing while including dungeon crawling as an extreme sport, giving the players a chance to get corporate sponsorships and travel around the world.

@Light Since you don't want us to post on that other forum. Here's a question that other people might discuss:
"If in the the mote there are 'no gods to pray to', how are we handling traditional divine spell-casters?"
Just a thought.

I said not to post your characters yet. The OoC is still open.

But to answer your question, divine spellcasters like Clerics can derive their power through philosophical means and powers. It goes more in depth about that on the Cleric's class features page, but those classes will have their abilities and spells just fine in this campaign.

@Light Just a quick clarification, all archetypes are fair game, yeah? Other than Synth summoner and the gun-toting archetypes, of course.

Probably, I'm not 100% familiar with every archetype in the game, but it should be fine. Just let me know first.

I've not used this system, but I have experience playing tabletop RPGs (most of them indie). If you still want some new (but willing to learn!) players...
