History:
The daughter of Aura and Raiden VanIsis, Rose grew up in a happy house hold and grew up learning all about the wizarding world from her parents. Being fully aware of the magical world left her with little knowledge or care of the muggle world. She thought that knowing of a world that was entirely separate from theirs was pointless and more then a little stupid. However, all of this changed when the Death Eaters took over the Ministry of Magic before her third year at Hogwarts.

Rose's parents were strong supporters of Muggleborns and seen with more then a little distain by the new government and were forced to flee their home with their son and daughter. While on the run, Roseletta was forced to see how the world changed for the worse, witnessing dementor attacks, watching her parents fight off Snatchers, and reading the news only to learn of the deaths or incarcerations of many of her friends from school. When the war finally ended before the end of the year, she was shaken and her views changed.

Upon returning to Hogwarts, Roseletta took up the Muggle Studies class, something she vowed never to do before the previous year, and took the subject seriously. The rest of her school years were uneventful, other then her taking an extra year to make up for the one she missed, and she graduated around the middle of her class. After Hogwarts, she made the unusual decision of attending a muggle college, if only to experience what the muggle world was like without. There, she was roommates with the muggle Ellis Averyonna and the two became good friends. Ellis was sadly forced to drop out of the school, but kept infrequent contact with Rose until suddenly stopping two years later.

Rose was never able to look into her friends sudden lack of contact as she began focusing on her own life. Shortly after graduating the collage at the age of twenty-toe, she began working at an apothecary shop in Diagon Alley. While working there, she met her future lover and husband, Lucus Griffonbane, marrying him when she was twenty-six years old and giving birth to their daughter Elyse Griffonbane two years later.

When word came that the position of Potions Master was open at Hogwarts due to the death of Horace Slughorn last year, Roseletta jumped at the chance to return to the school she loved and missed. Having excelled at Potions while attending Hogwarts and only refining the craft at her job, she was confident and, despite the tough opposition, she managed to get the job, along with becoming the new head of Hufflepuff. While her first year was a little rough, both due to being her first year teaching and the heartache that came with missing her three year old daughter, Roseletta managed to flourish and is now at Hogwarts to change.

Pet:
An owl. Her owl has a slight defect of being white but having some natural red tone on its feathers as well as it is missing an eye. She calls it Lilith Maria and the bird is about 11 years old.
