Brief Background The middle of three sisters, Haven comes from a relatively poor family with a single mother. She gained a reputation in town when she was younger as a delinquent, whether it was from petty theft, trespassing, or her personal favorite, graffiti. That changed three years ago though, when after a night of being dragged back home by the police (again) Haven snuck downstairs to find her mother and her older sister, Rose. Hiding in the shadows of the bannister, she heard the most heartbreaking thing she could imagine – her mother, crying tears of frustration and helplessness because the water was going to be turned off, she didn't know which bill she should pay with their diminishing funds that month, and to top it all off her second child seemed dead set on making an already stressful life even harder. Shame hot in her throat, Haven snuck back up the stairs and didn't come out. Though she hasn't been completely broken of her delinquent ways, she now channels her energy into art, even selling some works locally to help pay the bills for her mom. Their financial situation is more stable nowadays, and Haven is taking the opportunity to travel, going on an adventure, seeing the region, and getting more inspiration for her artwork. Faduli was getting a little stuffy for her tastes, anyhow.

Her partner in crime, Haven found Vice as a dying little bellsprout being picked at by some starly. After shooing the birds away, Haven took him back and nursed him back to health. The two have been inseparable ever since.
Brief Background Wyatt has always felt that he lived in the shadow of his older brother, Jimmy. Jimmy was popular. Wyatt was withdrawn. Jimmy was athletic. Wyatt could barely walk a straight line without tripping. Jimmy excelled in all things pokemon. Wyatt found them dirty and unmanageable. And every day their parents praised Jimmy like he'd hung the sun in the sky, while Wyatt skulked off to his room, headphones blasting music in his ears to drown it out. Over the years he's grown more than a tad resentful of his perfect older brother, though most of their rivalry is a figment of his own imagination. When Jimmy left on his own adventure with his pokemon, the Everard parents were worried, but confident that their eldest son would blossom and grow into the wonderful young man man he was already becoming. He still visits and sends them postcards regularly. But with him gone, his parents didn't know what to do with their moody, introverted son. And so, two years after Jimmy left the house, they put their feet down and insisted Wyatt go out and explore too, hoping he'd do some much needed growing up along the way. Wyatt intends to hate every minute of it.

Castella was given as an egg to Wyatt by his brother, Jimmy. Wyatt did not appreciate the gift. While he still isn't a fan of most pokemon, Cas has become close to bearable. For her part, she's completely devoted to him, seeing him as a stern parent.
