Name: Theodor Kiefer
Age: 17,
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Appearance:
Standing at 5’4’’, Theo towers over most, if not all, middle schoolers….and that’s about it. The hope of an inevitable growth spurt has long since passed in his mind, nor does his thin (almost girlish) frame give him much hope in broadening out anytime soon. He does try to compensate for his waifish appearance though, hiding inside large dark poofy jackets and baggy jeans.
History: City life never sat well with Theo, though he’d be the first to admit his bias was almost unnaturally strong. After all, it’s hard to hold a high opinion of a place like New York when you spend the first seventeen years of your life hunkered down in portions of its abandoned subway system in one of many underground homeless communities. Dementia had taken his mother’s mind early into her pregnancy, and where his dad was in all of this he could not begin to guess. School was never a significant part of his life, though he did eventually learn to read. Instead most of his days where spent with other homeless kids, hustling tourist for money or exploring the vast underground network of tunnels spanning beneath New York. That all changed when, one day, he slipped down a drainage pipe. For all intents and purpose, the fall should have killed him. He can still remember the cold rush of air as he fell, the hot white sparks that leapt from his skin as he pawed at the coppertube for some purchase. Though mostly he remembers the way his ribs cracked as he smashed to a stop after the 400 foot fall. As he limped back into ‘town’ he was met with immediate suspicion, the worried homeless running him off, not wanting whatever trouble that caused him to survive to befall them. Unsure where to go, Theo limped topside, taking shelter for the night in a bustop, where someone collected his unconscious body.
Power:
Ferromagnetism: Able to produce and control strong magnetic fields withing four feet of his body. Only affects objects containing significan amounts of ferromagnetic materials (iron, nickle, exctera).
Coin Accuracy: Highly accurate using coins as projectiles (propelled by strong magnetic forces). Can manage near perfect accuracy at about 1000 yards in ideal conditions (no wind, high visibility, excreta) This accuracy seems to ONLY apply to coins, however.
