A wise man once said that the oldest and most powerful emotion of mankind is fear, the most potent fear being the fear of the unknown. In some way, legends are always based on truth. The real question however is whether the truth is more frightening then the fiction. That is where the supernatural lies, where werewolves, vampires, ghosts and ghouls all lie. All legends are based on some truth. The truth? It all exists. For as long as man has began walking, they have been there. Hunting us, stalking us. For a time, they ruled us, forcing us to the bottom of the food chain. Then a select few stood above the rest, defending the realm of man. Warriors who wouldn't stand to see their villages burned, their families consumed, their lives ruined. Thus, The Order came to exist. For thousands of years the Order has existed, fighting the Other Side in secret and keeping mankind safe. For a time, they had been successful, forcing the creatures to hide and fear humanity. The last account of the Order was nearly thousands of years ago, the Order slowly becoming unnecessary......until now.

Something has awoken in the world, something dark and malevolent. Something powerful enough to rouse the monsters. Creatures of myth and of nightmares have risen from their lairs and have begun to reek havoc on man once more with ferocious fury. From packs of ravenous werewolves stalking the forests of Romania, to the crushing tentacles of the Kraken of the Atlantic, the creatures of darkness have returned and only The Order can stop them. The greatest hunters, scientists, witches, and warlocks have been called to take up arms once more against this threat.....that is where you come in.

This RP would be set in the year 1834 and would follow the exploits of the hunters fighting a war in secret. I want to keep the group small in number. The reason being that as the Order is required to solve certain problems around the world they will be required to make a choice, who do they decide to save? Who do they decide to sacrifice? Every hunter will be an expert in their field. Expert magician, vampire hunter, werewolf hunter, etc. So, who's ready to hunt some monsters?

You have my sword sir, I am ready to hunt monsters at your side.

Well a sea monster hunter provides transportation and skill. Werewolf hunter provides some knowledge on tracking and combat prowess. Your call.
