That simple. The concept might be sound, but if people have a giant slew of problems with what you're trying to do with said concept on half a dozen different levels, it is not good for the roleplay. Take a hint that people have a problem with what you're trying to do, accept that you might not be able to do exactly that in the roleplay (or, if you've offended someone, apologize to them personally), and 2) going back and forth in the OOC, one person saying "that isn't right" followed by the other person saying "but it is for this that and this" followed by the other person saying "that isn't right" is not the correct way to approach Crap like that is why I prefer to GM my own roleplays in the first place (although, that in itself is an entirely different discussion) - so I can tell someone to "get out" if they try to tell me how they're going to do it when they have't fully explained it to themselves yet. Explain it as clearly and concisely as you can on a SINGLE occasion, one post. If that presents problems, take it up with the GM in private messages until you can work out the kinks. It doesn't matter how nice it is, if it's so much of an issue that it's clogging up the OOC thread, it should be avoided entirely to begin with.My CS is incoming. Happy to have you Prometheus, and all the points you've brought up are valid. Admittedly, the reason why this back and forth started was due to what I said earlier. Perhaps clearer language on my part will prevent this in the future.

Why? Stryder, we will wait for you to finish your CS, if you still want to participate. Honestly, I'm sorry about the whole confusion. If you want help creating/tweaking your character, please PM me and we can talk through things. I don't want this whole experience to deter you from roleplaying with us.

It's kinda both 1 and 2. I'll just note that it's a draft instead of completed. And update it as you do.Of course I would NEVER do 3. That is just rude and cruel to both you and your character. I respect your character to only allow you to truly edit him as you wish. As I want the same respect for mine ^^

Under absolutely no circumstances will another player edit another player's character. I want to make this absolutely clear right now. From what I've seen from the CS PM Silver sent me, I don't think she's changed too much of anything, nor do I think she will.
A player's character is there own. If he or she chooses to ask for advice on what to write, then that's another matter altogether. I'm not sure if there's an option to edit someone's post outside of PM, but don't do the above. It's a tad disrespectful.
Of course, this is a general statement versus calling anyone in specific out.
