Once Hal was invited in, he thanked Kailey Callahan, referring to her of course as "Mrs. Callahan," before slipping down to the basement. He didn't bother knocking this time; he figured from Sophia's family that whatever she was wearing was the most clothes he'd get out of her. He instead threw the door open somewhat loudly.

"Richard. Sophia. Ah, no shirt. I was wondering what you'd be wearing. But, uh, nevermind that. You guys were at detention too. You were in that space ship, right? Have you noticed anything... strange? I certainly have."

Without even waiting for a response, he pulled back the sleeve of his hoodie, revealing the gilded gauntlet covering his right hand.

"You both were sick, right? Out like a candlelight in the dead of winter? Me too, and I'll bet everyone else is the same. I woke up with this both badass-and-also-unnerving thing this morning. We should probably, like, call everyone else and see if they're shooting fire out of their butts or something."

Richard arched an eyebrow at Hal, ignoring Sophia beside him on the bed. "Shooting fire out of their butts?" He shook his head and did his best not to laugh but it was a close call.

"I've already called a few people. We're just waiting for them to get here and see what we can figure out. I've been randomly floating, what about you?" he asked, looking Hal up and down for signs of anything unusual. At a glance he looked unchanged, but then again Richard himself hadn't changed on a visible level, and neither had Sophia, who had yet to show any sort of unusual traits. He wondered what was going to happen when she did.

When.

It had already progressed in his mind to the point where it wasn't a matter of if anymore, it was a 'when'. A given that something was going to happen.

Mina got up from the floor and tapped the girl on the shoulder. As soon as her finger touched her skin, she disappeared.

"What the-"

Suddenly, what just happened flooded into her mind, but this time, it was from the standing girl's perspective.

"What the-" Mina repeated. She sat down on her bed and stared at her hands. What's happening?

"Mina, there's a boy named Richard that wants to meet you at his house," Max hollered, "Don't think of doing anything bad!"

"Ugh, Max, like I ever would," Mina replied, on her way out of her room, "I guess I'll see ya."

"Have a good time!"

When Richard's house came into Mina's view, so did Hal. He must have also experienced something unnatural. She overheard Mrs. Calhoun redirecting Hal to the Callahans across the street. She walked about seven feet behind Hal, being careful so he wouldn't notice her. This wasn't necessary, but she didn't want to strike up a conversation about anything at this moment.

Mina was mostly looking at the ground, so when she looked up at the sound of the door opening, she let out a little gasp. Am I seeing things again? She rubbed her eyes. When she opened them again, she caught a glimpse of a naked butt. She shook her head.

Mina nervously stepped through the doorway, guessing that she was also allowed in, for The Naked Lady had already gone up the stairs.

As soon as he took a single step within the ship, every fibre of his being felt... odd. Something was off with this ship, he could feel it etched into his bones. His usual smirk faded into obscurity, instead replaced by a slight tingle of fear. Everyone around him had started to panic amongst themselves, then the ramp went up, amplifying the fear within the group of individuals.

A bright, white light cascaded all over the room and blinded everyone. Alden tried to place his left hand over his eyes but to no avail as he succumbed to the light. He knelt at first, trying to ignore the gnawing pain he felt, but eventually he slumped on the floor and with a final breath he fainted.

Alden gulped a giant breath of air, in his worry he looked around and noticed a familiar setting. His room, everything was as it was, the ceiling, furniture, door. Even the ever so intimate scent of his home was present. He WAS at home. A tray of food was left on the table adjacent to the bed. Slapping his tongue up and down, he found that his mouth was dry and coarse.

Trying to reach for the glass, tt appeared to Alden that he was asleep for atleast a day as he felt his muscles a bit tense. He couldn't muster the energy to grab it, but then something peculiar happened. While reaching out towards the glass, the water seemed to seep out of it. It encircled his right hand, akin to twin dragons coiling against each other.

With a surprised gasp, his focus broke and the beautifully cascading waters dropped into his sheets.

"What in the-" Alden whispered silently,

The door then creaked open, it was the visage of his mother and sister. Both with an usual expression of worry cast on their faces.

How long was I out for to give them both worrying looks like that he thought in self loathing, making note of their grieved faces, he tried to shoot them a grin but found himself a bit too wear and weary so all he could muster up was a small smile.

"Don't worry dear, rest up all you want. You've been asleep for two days, I've never seen this happen to you." Alden's mother said, her usual, stern tone was laced with subtle anguish and worry.

You could even hear the sniffles of his little sister, who was unlike her normal energetic and bubble self. She was silent and solemn, which Alden found a tad odd.

"Thank you Mother." he replied, his voice a bit low, "Chin up sister, I'm alright."

They both left Alden to his devices. Glancing at the electronic clock, which also conveniently told the day. It was Saturday. His mother was right, what in the world happened to him. He looked at his right hand, and glanced back at the now half empty glass of water. He pointed his hand towards it, the water once again heeded his call and coiled around his arm. He concentrated enough to get it into his mouth this time.

"What's... What's happening to me." he said in a very low voice of worry, he articulated that everyone in that spaceship might also have powers like him. He was almost certain that some foreign thing messed with their DNA or something close, Alden's mind wasn't exactly in the right.

Then, with him swimming in his own thoughts, the phone rang. It was Richard, he was asked to meet up. Unless Alden is wrong, then his hypothesis of everyone receiving some power was right. He was given powers, no doubt about that. As he listed down the address of Richard before storming off into the shower.

Usually he would take time to do this to near perfection, but this time it was slightly rushed. His clothing wasn't exactly right, and neither was his hair. Both being somewhat disheveled. Then, after answering his mothers out-of place worried questions he set out, the written address in hand.

It wasn't exactly hard to find it, as he asked around in the general area. His usual, alluring smile now back since he regained a bit of his energy back. He was pointed to the general direction of the home. He was slightly late, it appeared, which he would apologize later for.

He was right behind Mina and Hal, but they entered the house when he was still a ways off. So he had to knock on the door once more and bother the lady again. He reached the front enclosure of the home, and with a knowing nod Alden was let in, seeing as the lady thought he was the same as Hal or Mina.

As he was led to the pseudo meeting grounds of sorts, he had caught the last part of the conversation, something about his powers. He opened the door, and after entering he closed it slowly,

"Hey." Alden said unusually casual, he usually tried to greet people more personally and formally, "Sorry for being late, catch me up, please." he had also psychologically chosen not to comment on the rather scantily clothed girl next to Richard.

Pedaling, pedaling… Was he even on the right street right now?

Blake came to a stop on a street corner and rested his face in his hands. Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to try super sleuthing without any good clues to begin with. He heaved a heavy sigh as he considered just going home. Maybe one of the others had already tried calling everyone in and he just missed the call thanks to this venture.

He heaved an even heavier sigh at the thought.

"…Hang on wait a sec…" he thought to himself, his attention snapping back up, "Is that Alden? All the way over there? Let's see... overly posh clothing for an ordinary neighborhood, black and blues, about the right hairstyle… That is Alden! THEY DID CALL!" He gripped his handlebars in frustration, but dialed it back as he thought, "...Or he lives around here too. That’s a possibility. But still! That's someone from last night! Finally!"

Blake gunned straight for him, rather than look extra weird and shouting all the way down the street for him. He wasn’t able to catch up to him before he went inside, however, and came to a hard brake in front of Sophie’s house. Well, to him it was either Richard’s or Alden’s as far as he knew, and it’s why the sight of a half naked lady at the door threw him for the one of the bigger loops he’d seen today. If this was Alden’s mom’s casual clothing he’d understand why he’d dress so stuffy all the time.

She seemed to understand what he was here for and pointed him in where to go. His eyes were anywhere but in front of him, but he still managed a thank you and headed down for their basement, removing his helmet on the way in. "Okay, so they are meeting, and that means I either missed them or they missed me. Not sure which annoys me more.

He poked his grumpy-looking head in, having missed the entire swing of the conversation and said, ”Hey! You guys weren’t gonna talk about what happened without me ri-EYA-AGH—“

He was taken aback as his gaze finally made its way up to Sophia. He finally addressed the elephant in the room as his hand shot up to cover his eyes while he blurted out, ”Naked! Why are you naked?!”

"Woo, the gang's all here. At least, the ones we like. Up high!" Hal raises his spiked-gauntlet-clad hand to Richard for a high five.

CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE!

"Something tells me that everyone could do with a little ice breaker." Hal raises his gloved fist, crushing some ice cubes inside it. No one is exactly sure where the ice cubes came from; only that they are now ice shrapnel, and all over the floor. "Now that that's out of my system, let's do this for real. I'm Hal, and I have this thing on my arm. Yes it is heavy, no, I can't take it off, and three, my favorite color is in fact yellow."

When other people began arriving, Sophia was not concerned in the slightest about her attire, lack thereof, or their reactions to it. This was her house, it was the weekend, she could wear whatever, and however much, she wanted. Was it rude? Yes, probably. But if she was being forced to suffer wearing pants for a week, then the rest of them could suffer her wanting to be as comfortable as possible. Besides, they were just breasts, she didn't see what the big deal was. And hers were pretty nice looking, if she did say so herself, so what was to complain about?

The first person to arrive was Hal; she didn't remember much about him. He only seemed mildly surprised by the situation, and based off his comment he had probably already gotten eyeful of either her mother or aunt. That in itself made her snicker a little: if seeing his best friend naked was enough to drive Ricky up the wall, then seeing almost the rest of her family would probably send him straight through the roof. She probably have to hang onto him just to keep him grounded. Assuming his poor head didn't explode first.

At any rate, Hal was more interested in what he himself was wearing, and the gauntlet was certainly pretty weird-looking. Sophia was far from being an engineer, but she still couldn't figure out how he would have gotten it on in the first place. It didn't look like it could have been anymore snug if it had been cast around his arm.

The next person to arrive was Mina: that set Sophia's mind buzzing. Yay, now she wasn't going to be the only girl at the boyfest! It was good. She also remembered that Mina was the girl who she had seen drawing outside the classroom after the test, and she'd been really good. Like, REALLY good. All thoughts of hanging on to Ricky went out the window, because she wanted a front row seat to whatever this girl was going to make next. Mina was... quiet, didn't really say anything, though seeing the look on her face was pretty funny.

About a minute into the conversation (that she wasn't really paying attention to), the snooty kid Alden arrived. He... apparently didn't notice her at all. Well, he did, he looked straight at her, and straight at her chest, but he didn't say anything about it. What, her breasts weren't good enough to even mention? Hal had at least been nice enough to offer a comment!

Eyes flicking from person to person, Sophia made her decision. She pushed herself up, crawled over beside Mina, and latched herself onto the girl's arm. As hilarious as it would have been to see what awkward expressions she could get out of Alden or Hal (though with how chill he was being she was starting doubt that second option), fascination with the girl won out.

She was just getting comfortable, relaxed and smiling brightly as though the pair had been life long friends, when Blake arrived, and gave the most hilarious reaction yet. Before he covered his eyes, she thought they were literally going to pop out of his head. In response, she dug her phone out of her pocket. "I'M NOT, STUPID. THIS IS MY HOUSE AND IT'S THE WEEKEND. WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL? ARE YOU GOING TO BE BLIND THE WHOLE TIME?"

Richard sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, eyes closed tight for a moment when Blake came in and lost his mind over Sophias bare breasts.

"Seriously, dude, you're not going to convince her so better just save your breath." He opened his eyes and swayed slightly when he was suddenly assaulted by an entirely different view of the world.

Each person and item around him was washed out in gray scale with lines radiating out from them. The larger the object the more lines, like a moving topographical map.

He blinked and his vision suddenly returned to normal. "Son of a motherless goat," he muttered. "This is really getting annoying. Does anyone have any clue what the hell happened to us? Last thing I remember was picking up trash in the park."

”Why yes, as a matter of fact,” He placed his helmet over his face and strapped it in, giving himself the dumbest mask in existence. ”I think I will.” Gee what a prude. You’d think most guys his age would be happy to see a girl naked in any way.

…This act of courtesy was starting to backfire on him right away. It was incredibly stuffy inside his helmet, especially since he was just wearing it. Still, it was a little too late to back out from this big, dumb gesture. May as well see how long he can last with this thing on him.

He looked in the direction of Richard’s voice at his question and answered, ”Uhhh… Ship!” He pat his fist in his hand, ”We went up in a UFO last night. That ring any bells for anyone?”

"Right. Big, scary sky-thing. With lots of things for poking." Hal went to rub his chin with his right hand, and as soon as he made contact, he realized the gauntlet was gone. "It's... gone? Well, that's not unsettling. Gone as quick as it came, I suppose." He began to feel light-headed, and leaned gently upon nearby furniture. "So... do we think, maybe it was aliens? And, more important question: Can I punch the aliens? For sport, of course."

Hal looked to the others, hoping they might have something to add. In the meantime, however, he became slightly lost in his own daydreaming. What was going on? Did aliens really do all this? Will I really get to punch evil space aliens? I hope I get to punch evil space aliens. Just like the movies! Mmm... popcorn...

When Mina stepped into the basement, the first thing she saw was the naked torso belonging to Sophia.
"What the f-," she whispered. She shook her head. Nope, this can't be happening. It has to do something with the clone thing. It has to!

She quietly sat down on the couch. Mina turned around when Blake blurted out the fact that Sophia is half naked. WHAT?? SHE'S ACTUALLY NAKED? Well, I can't say anything now... I'll just make a fool out of myself. Mina continued to sit on the couch.

Mina shook her head when Hal "broke the ice". This is going to be very boring. She sat back on the couch. It took her a good 3 minutes to realize that Sophia was suspiciously staring at her with a mysterious grin on her face. What is she going to do now?

When Alden walked into the room, her heart skipped a beat. He wasn't his perfect self, but that just made him more attractive, in Mina's opinion. He asked for everyone to catch him up. Mina decided that was definitely not going to be her, for she knew nothing about what was happening.

As soon as she felt warm skin touch her arm, Mina flinched. She slowly turned her head, to see Sophia holding onto her arm. At first, she was taken by surprise. Why was she acting so...friendly? A few seconds after, however, Mina decided that this was better, as now she didn't have to pretend to not look at Sophia's naked breasts. Mina awkwardly leaned into Sophia, so it would be more comfortable for both of them. This would take some time getting used to.

Mina cringed when Sophia blasted out what she wanted to say on her phone. Her phone was extremely close to her sensitive ear.

She stayed quiet while the rest of the group exchanged their thoughts and ideas. When Hal mentioned punching aliens, Mina answered, "Why for sport? Do it as a hobby. No one's stopping you."

"Okay, weird gauntlet, floating, anyone else have anything weird to report?" Richard asked before he suddenly blinked and turned to look at Blake.

"Wait... did you say space ship? And seriously, take the helmet off, she doesn't care who sees her, you're lucky we got her to put pants on."

He rubbed his eyes again with his hands. "Look, I don't have any memory at all after picking up trash in the park. Sophia days she remembers a big room, now you two," he waved a hand at Hal and Blake, "are talking UFOs. Seriously what the hell is going on here? And can anyone think of a common link in all this? Cause my head is starting to hurt."

”WHAT MAKES YOU THINK ALIENS WANT TO BE PUNCHED? OR THAT THEY WON’T PUNCH BACK HARDER?” Sophia typed out into her phone. Cocking her head, she thought for a moment. ”OR THAT THEY’RE BAD ALIENS? MAYBE THEY’RE GOOD ALIENS WHO JUST WANTED TO GIVE US STUFF.” She smirked. ”OR YOU’RE JUST PARANOID. I CAN GO ON IF YOU LIKE. AND WHY’S PUNCHING THEM THE FIRST THING YOU THINK OF?”

Everything was just getting better and better. She felt Mina (she was pretty sure that she had heard the name somewhere) lean into her, and Sophia turned and perched her head on the other girl’s shoulder, humming contentedly. The acceptance made her ecstatic, though she take care to keep an eye on Mina’s expression. It wouldn’t do to scare her off and lose another cuddlebuddy.

When Ricky asked his question, Sophia pursed her lips. Something was nagging at her about this whole situation. “QUESTION. WHERE DID TIC-TAC GO LAST NIGHT?”

”Uuuuuugh… Alright, fine…” Blake groaned and finally popped his helmet off his face. As much as he enjoyed the air he still felt uncomfortable being around someone just… showing it all. He wasn’t sure he’d be able to come to terms with the idea of someone having no shame here. Getting back on topic, though, he considered the question Richard just posed. Common link, common link…

”Okay, okay, so… Picking trash up. That’s right. Then we see the UFO… Then I’m pretty sure that room was in the UFO…”

Blake tapped his chin while he tried to remember the next bit after that. Fighting? Yes, he’s pretty sure there was fighting. Then… A light? Something… It must have ended at that point, he’s sure. He looked in Sophia’s direction at her question, then immediately directed his gaze up specifically at her face and asked, ”Tic-Tac? Who’s that?”

Anything weird to report... "I saw a clone of myself," Mina said, putting her hand up. The hand that wasn't captured by Sophia, that is.

Sophia's hum made Mina shiver. It had been so long since...anything like this happened. She desperately tried to keep a poker face.

UFO, huh? I've never heard of a UFO giving you powers before... Mina remembered the sudden pain she had in a room.

"A room! That's right. I remember a sharp pain."

Mina waited for Sophia to explain who Tic-Tac was. She suddenly felt tired, so she leaned back into the couch, slightly pulling away from Sophia. From time to time, Mina stole glances of Alden.

This entire situation was whimsical- bordering a farce. It feels as if they didn't really care what happened that night seeing as they veered off topic alot. This is getting nowhere he thought, staightening his slack posture and breathing deeply. It was obvious that everyone's (atleast everyone present) recollection of that night was haze at best. Alden only remembered how blurry and light-headed he got when he stepped into the ship, seeing a dark figure in a half-dazed state before completely passing it.

Alden caught Mina glancing at him a few times, and the even fewer times they both made simultaneous eye contact he brightly smiled at her in return, an odd girl indeed, "Alright, back to the issue at hand." he said, keeping his smile, although struggling slightly, "... Weird to report... Ah, I can now manipulate water." as soon as those words escaped his mouth he looked at a glass of water on the table before lifting it up and making the water travel then coil around his finger.

"The fact remains, we got powers- for entirely unknown reasons, after getting 'abducted' by that saucer." his words came out succint and a tad hoarse, he was still a bit tired, and he did try to rush here and all- even forgoing some of his 'daily rituals' to do so.

"Clones and now water manipulation," Richard muttered, studying through spiraling swirls of water around Alden's hand. "That's definitely interesting, and Tic-tac is what she calls Omega, the new teacher..."

Richard trailed off, blinking a few times in suprise, then again to clear away the weird distortion appeared in his vision again. He couldn't figure out what it was, but he thought he'd figured out how it was triggered at least.

"Om," he muttered. "He was the only other person that was there, and my mom said he dropped me off at my house last night. We gotta find him." He paused and looked around at the rest of them. "Anyone got any ideas how to do that?"

Hal thought briefly about the predicament of locating a substitute teacher. Teachers, unfortunately, do not live at school, and the directory likely wouldn't have the brand-new sub in its listings.

"When was the last time someone got a phone book? Alden, you look like someone who buys stationary by the pound, where do you think we'd get a copy of a recent phone book?" Hal asked, rather openly. As if on cue, a golden book appeared in front of Hal, which to his dismay, had no writing upon its pages, but did effectively illustrate his prey. "Well... I guess the good news is that I can do that, whatever that is, exactly."
