Likewise good to "see" you @Blacksam3091. And here are some responses to those there questions. Forgive me for being such an eejit.

1) I imagined him catching his eye on something afloat before taking to the water to investigate, in the Illadvised® illadvised way that adventurous unmonitored children get into trouble.

2) What I imagine is him swimming into the waste of a failed experiment. It really had little to do with him and more to do with the fact he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. As for who did it, I was imagining either a geneticist in the vein of the Golden Age Monster Men, Dr Sivana, or perhaps a non malevolent, though irresponsible, everyman OC. I can fill it out and have it be more significant to his character arc, if you'd prefer.

3) The real question is "Why are you blind to the fact that Canada is the root of all evil?" Seriously though, it was just me being silly.

4) Good Question. He is a superhero of some experience, thus he would likely have the connections to have something like that made for him. I'll just quote you on that concept.

If it's Darkseid or related to him then my character would be an asset to the league

Darkseid himself doesn't seem right for a starter villain. Probably gotta aim a couple notches lower. Someone like Despero or Zod.

I just wanna make chimeras and show what I'm capable of with my boy here...



As far as cosmic level villains we may face, my vote would go for somebody that split the core 7 League members up with each making their own JL [Justice League Arkham, Justice League Atlantis, JL Aliens, JL Air, JL Adventurers, Justice League Amazons...]. This guy buys and sells planets for the net worth of solar systems. I give all you noobs, the ADVANCE MAN.

I would love to do an Emperor Joker storyline

Every single villain I was about to name was Marvel so I am ashamed >.<

@The Kid Lantern Yeah, that why I specified wild lions as opposed to ones living in a zoo. The zoo's only really a helpful environment for him if the animals can get out of their cages, which, you know, they aren't supposed to.

@Weird Tales So where's the rest of the Forever People while Marks on Earth? I take it they're not with him, and it was only Mark that's been sent. And are New Gods really that strong? I always thought that they were significantly weaker than Kryptonian's for the most part. Usually it wouldn't matter, but we already have two super strong Kryptonians, a man in a suit that emulates the powers of a Kryptonian, and a super-strong demon. Seems we're stacked in the department of high level super-strength users.

Ok folks looks like we've settled on Option 3 for starting. Of course it'll take me a little longer to get this show on the road, but if you're patient with me I'll get it started IC-wise asap. Sunday at the very latest.

I would love to do an Emperor Joker storyline

Wouldn't work. In both the original comic and the different but still highly enjoyable BatB adaptation, the Joker is defeated only by exploiting his dualistic nature with Batman. Since Batman isn't around right now, he'd be literally unbeatable (seeing how he turns the most powerful gods in the DCU into babbling imbeciles and later proceeds to just unmake reality), and whilst a challenging foe is pretty fun to face, one that cannot be beat... Isn't.
