Hello everyone,

My name is Carthang(not my real name obviously), and I find myself once again at the Guild, looking for new adventures. It has been a while since my last visit to the Guild, so long in fact that I had to register a new account because the old accounts didn't follow the transition to the new site(which might not be so new any more). I used the same name on the previous iteration of the Guild, so if any of you happen to recognize me from back then, don't hesitate to send me a PM if you want to talk or reminisce about one of the old RPs we participated in.

My roleplaying history mostly contains Pokemon-related roleplays during the earlier years(all of it took place on PokemonElite2000, a site that sadly no longer exists, and my username over there was Kamikaze), and the last few years it has veered off into the fascinating genre of fantasy, usually high fantasy of various kinds. Who doesn't love lots of magic and a few dragons, eh?

Other interests include but are not limited to reading(mostly fantasy, which might explain my taste in roleplaying), various videogames, logical puzzles in just about any shape you can think of, and Airsoft.

It is almost 1 in the morning here, so this will be all for now.

Another returnee! There's just so many of you guys lately. It just makes me happy. And no, nothing got saved from old guild because of the catastrophic wipe off the mainframe. (It was tragic). Still, we're glad to have you back and maybe you'll find some old acquaintances.

@Blue Demon Damn, there are still other people out there who survived GuildFall? I don't get around to meeting new people too often, so... Always interesting to see one!

@Carthang Welcome! Hope you find what you're looking for. :) We're still not running at quite the same level the old site was - I mean holy crap that's a lot of code for Mahz to dig out and somehow re-establish. What a shame we had to lose it all... Still, things here improve, albeit gradually, and the basic controls have almost all of the necessary tools from the other site.

Thank you, and maybe I will find some old friends. It's sad that nothing got saved though, the same happened with PE2K where I originally started roleplaying. Luckily I save most of my posts off-site before posting them(or rather I type them off-site and when I'm done I copy the whole text and reply to the RP, that way I don't accidentally lose something if the web-browser, my internet-connection, or the site itself stops working), so at least I can still read the parts I contributed to most of the RPs I was in.

Thank you, I too hope that I find what I'm looking for. From what I can tell so far, the site is looking good. While it may not be finished(in truth though, is a project like this ever truly finished?), it is tailored to it's purpose in a way that I don't remember the old site being. Little things here and there, but some times it is the little things that counts the most. Just the fact that a thread can have multiple tabs is a nice feature, that way you have your RP and OOC in the same place and whatnot.
