I'm here to see what I can get into. I've never been part of a proper forum roleplay, at least not one that hasn't burned in under a week, so I want to see how you folks do it. I'm from the USA and I've a passion for history, particularly for WW2.

I've been roleplaying for a while, but it's mostly been through the medium of MMO's like World of Warcraft or Rift that don't really permit a lot of detailed posts. The storytelling interests me a hell of a lot more than the gameplay... hopefully without that distraction, I can accomplish something decent.

Oh, all kinds...
But my favorite are the open ended character driven ones. You know, the ones all about player choice and allow the group to shape the story.

As for genres, Most things, provided the lore is fleshed out.
