I'd assume also that using this ability as stealth against an alert foe, even if they forget GHOST, would still keep them on their toes. The fact that they forgot who they fought would probably make them even more paranoid. After a few exposures, they can eventually understand that some invisible force is pursuing them even if their memory gets wiped each time.
Essentially with some common sense and basic alertness, people should be able to stay on their guard despite forgetting him. At least in fights where he intends to STAY.
