"Bahh!" Carina spat out, shaking her head. "CC was just the name of the dumb dog Kaln stole the collar from. he thought it was cute because it had the first letter of my wolf name." She explained, her voice snobby. She glared over at Morgan, deciding whether to lie or tell her her real name... "I'm Carina." She spoke matter-of-factly, having given up on privacy at this point. She ran a hand through her hair and stared at Morgan for a moment. "I'm not sure whether to take your fascination as an insult or a compliment. I guess I'll take it as both." She told her, huffing slightly. "Anyway, I suppose you have a lot of questions. Ask away. Though, I can't say I'll answer all of them truthfully." She explained, pulling a strand of dark red hair behind her ear. Carina had lost her human name when she was bitten. That was the thing... She had no home to return to because she didn't remember it. Her name, anything. When she woke up, all she had was a name that had been given to her. By who? She didn't know... She guessed now that it was probably the wolf spirit, Chanteloup, that Kaln always spoke of. It was sort of this guiding spirit they all had. Song of the Wolf. It gave each of them a name when they either changed or were born... She had to laugh at her own name. It held no meaning, just a bunch of jumbled up words. At least Kaln's name meant leader. The elders of his pack had no idea what Carina had meant. Even after asking the spirits.

Morgan took a few steps back when the woman began to express her complete frustration. All of the dirty and rude looks in the world were launched at her, which made her wince internally. She fidgeted and fixed the position of her glasses before she took a deep breath and stared back at Carina, her eyes exuding an exceedingly strange glow. Honestly, she was starting to get a bit nervous. She didn't want to show it, though. Weakness isn't something she liked to show, though she failed most of the time. "Carina? That's a nice name. Carina. Also, my fascination is because you're something i've never seen before. Unlike most humans, i'm not afraid of things that I don't understand. Kaln? I'm not even going to ask who that is. I do have another question though. Something I would prefer that you answer honestly." She spoke out, her tone soft in an attempt to be disarming. She stepped closer and spoke once more. "Why, just why are you here? I'm not assuming anything, as a matter of fact, i'm drawing a complete blank. I don't get it, I think you want something from me, but just what could that be?" She asked, her tone just as a soft as before. "Please...don't lie to me."

Carina rolled her eyes. I just told her I wouldn't be honest, and now she wants me to be honest. "You want the truth?" Carina asked, her eyes narrowing. She looked down at her hands and then to her naked body. "Get me something to cover up with and then I'll be honest with you. Tit for tat, you know?" She explained. She crossed her arms and stared at the woman. "Your fascination is flattering but I'm starting to feel a bit uncomfortable with all those stares." She explained, a smirk appearing on her lips. Am I even allowed to tell her the truth? Maybe if I just... leave out some details. Yeah, make it sound real but avoid talking about the jewelery she apparently has. Which... Kaln forgot to tell me what the damned thing even looked like. The jewelery would have to wait until Carina had had a chance to talk to Kaln.

"She's sassy. Very, almost ridiculously sassy. But it's to be expected." Morgan thought to herself, curious as to what the womans next move would be. Was she dangerous and bloodthirsty? Nah, she could have killed Morgan in her sleep without a second thought. She wasn't afraid or nervous or anything like that, her mind and her curiosity got the best of her. Also, the woman was exceptionally nice to look at, something that Morgan appreciated very much. Morgan gestured and pointed up the winding staircase before speaking, "I have a wardrobe upstairs that's the size of the kitchen. Completely unnecessary I know, but it's nice having such a variety to choose from." She said, babbling. "Though, i'm sure a werewolf such as yourself doesn't keep fashion high on the priority list." She would've giggled, but to keep from insulting or offending Carina even more, she managed to keep her big mouth clamped shut, metaphorically speaking of course. "Come, i'll show you. This house is a nightmare to navigate unless you're used to it." Morgan led Carina upstairs and into her large, mahogany walled room and pointed toward a wall with a door stuck plain in the middle of it. The door opened with a slight creak and revealed an obnoxious amount of clothing. "It's all you. If you don't mind, i'd prefer to stay in here with you. I don't quite trust you enough yet." She explaining, being completely and rather bluntly honest.

Carina watched the woman mull things over before gesturing toward the winding staircase. Her eyes followed the line of sight to the stairs and then turned back to Morgan, her eyes narrowed before a small smile appeared on her lips. As she followed Morgan up the stairs, she thought about what she'd said. "Yeah. Fashion's not really up there. Though... I wish it could be..." She replied, a sadness in her tone. Even if she did wear nice clothes, they'd just rip when she shifted. A nightmare to navigate? Carina chuckled slightly, trying to move past her earlier emotions. She'd already explored some of it but it seems that she still hadn't explored it all. Carina couldn't stop the smile that grew on her face as the closet was opened. She'd heard what Morgan had said but it was very muted as her mind focused on the bounty of clothes around her. She twirled, oblivious to her nakedness, and touched the fabrics, felt their softness. It was all a bit overwhelming. Even when she'd lived in a house, her closet hadn't quite been like this. She eyed a rather worn and faded hoodie and left her fingers run over it's frayed edges. Now she felt bad. She didn't want to ruin any of these cloths if she had to shift in a hurry. Sighing softly, she walked over to the other side and picked a random t-shirt and some well worn shorts. Morgan's bras were too big for her so she'd have to go without but the underwear fit well enough. Soon enough, she was pulling the rough fabric of the t-shirt over her head and down on her stomach. She gave Morgan a bright smile and walked over, putting a hand on the woman's shoulder. "I wouldn't trust me either." She told her before walking over to Morgan's bed and jumping onto it with a 'woomp.' She let herself sprawl out over the bed as she looked down at Morgan still in the closet. "Alright. Ask away. I've forgotten the questions so I'm afraid you'll have to repeat 'em." She told her and folded her arms behind her head.

Morgan eyed the woman, who seemed absolutely enchanted by her seemingly endless supply of clothes. She hadn't imagined the werewolf would love this so much. It brought a slight smile to her face. She looked good, even in worn out clothes. When the woman landed on her bed, she smiled and spoke. "Well, I did say that my home is your home...and i'm certainly a woman of my word. Also, it's quite nice that you put on clothes, it was getting to be quite the task to ignore your body, Carina." She said, sliding over to the bed and taking a seat, legs crossed, facing the woman. "Now...why are you here? Is it for something of mine, or is it for me? I just don't get it." Morgan asked, curious as to why the woman..er...werewolf was here. "Not that I mind having you here...it's actually quite nice having some female company here. It's a lonely life I lead." She said, as her cheeks flooded with red. Morgan was thinking about her, and only her. Which is weird, seeing as she is known as a scatterbrain.

Carina looked down at the woman from her position on the bed and sat up to look at her more clearly. "Why does it matter? Do I need a reason to be here?" Carina asked, narrowing her eyes at Morgan. A small smile grew on her lips as she thought of what to say next. "I'm... looking for something and... for someone. But don't worry, it's not you. Though... It may be someone you know." Carina answered truthfully, well... mostly. "All I ask is that you simply let me be here in peace. I won't bother you if you don't bother me, yeah?" Carina bartered, tilting her head slightly. "And... that's good to know. I can use my body to get under your skin." Carina teased, chuckling slightly. "Though, alternatively, I could just get under your skin literally." She laughed, revealing much larger canines than any human should possess. Sighing, she fell back against the bed. "Any more questions, your honor?" She asked, pulling her hands behind her head once again.

"Well, I do believe that "bother" is a little but subjective, no? What if i'm just, picking fun, or something akin to that?" Morgan murmured clearly, and with each word a wry smile grew larger on her face. "Regardless, you do have a very good point there, Carina. I'm just...overly curious is all. I really don't know what prompted me to ask these questions, but..." She bit the inside of her lip, before she spoke again, "The very idea that you exist, that, um....werewolves exist is very fascinating." She said. Might as well be honest with her no? "Everyone has their own motives, their own drive, their own goals to reach. I don't really want to know what yours is. I just wanted to know if it had anything to do with me. If I can help, I might as well. I don't really have much to lose, so....I'm game." She babbled, but her message was clear enough. "Your body? I suppose you could use that to get under my skin, but teasing isn't nice, not nice at all, Carina." She said, eyeing the woman with one eye, "I'm just playing around, but yeah. That's not fair at all."

Carina huffed, a smile forming over her lips. "Hah! Who ever said life was fair?" She exclaimed rather sourly. A few moments of silence later, she pushed herself back up from the bed to look at Morgan. "And curiosity can get you killed. The fewer questions you ask, the safer you'll be. Not all of my kind are as self-restrained as I am." She explained, her expression getting serious. "But!" She called out, bending over and shifting positions so that she was on her stomach. "You have a good point. Everyone has their own motives, their own secret goals. I just wish I could figure them out rather than be led around like a lab monkey." She explained, sighing as she thought of Kaln. "Also... If you don't mind... Could we link? It's so much easier to be in wolf form that way." She asked without realizing that Morgan would think she was either speaking gibberish or talking about sex. Which... was an interesting way to do it but not what she had in mind. "Ah, before you get any ideas, it basically means that I'd be able to communicate with you telepathically. All we have to do is link through a blood seal. It'll wear off if we get too far a part and we can cut it whenever we need to. I won't hear your thoughts and you won't hear mine. It's sort of like.. emails for the brain. I send you a thought and you get it. Case closed. " Carina explained, rolling around the bed out of boredom.

Morgan giggled to herself before speaking, "What's life without the occasional threat of death? Despite my appearance, I do enjoy a thrill every once in a while." She said, looking over Carina once more.

She sat and listened to her words and then finally, her proposition. "Linking? Oh, sounds marvelous. Anything to pique my interest, it seems.." Morgan thought to herself, fiddling with her glasses before removing them and revealing the dark, heavy bags underneath her eyes. She never did sleep well, if at all.

"I can't see why I should say no to that.. so.. I agree. Certainly. Couldn't hurt, no? Well, I suppose it could but that's utterly besides the point. Chances are meant to be taken, not left alone. Especially when that chance has to do with you." She said, smirking.

At first, she was intimidated and buffaloed by the werewolf, but as she acclimated herself to the concept, it made her mind and heart race. It had been too long since her life had any semblance of excitement, and it had been too long since Morgan had any company that even wanted a single thing to do with her.

"This will certainly make for a story." She thought, waiting for a reply.

"A thrill every now and then? Maybe we should just trade places, Morgan." She mumbled, half to Morgan, half to herself. This girl wanted thrills and all Carina wanted was to feel normal again and not like her skin was burning alive constantly. Thrills. Carina snorted.

She raised her brows at the flirtatious remark and chuckled. "I like you already, Missy." She told her, rolling into an upright position. It had been a long time since anyone, even Kaln had treated her this... normally.

"Oh, and it'll hurt. It'll sting like hell, actually." Carina told her as she got up and began to saunter towards the kitchen for a knife. "Follow me." She added.

"I would agree to that proposition, but I'm ignorant to what you go through everyday, Carina." Morgan said, smirking. "I don't understand a thing about you, but regardless of that, your a friend.. and friends help each other out when needed." She babbled out, following the girl to the kitchen. "I'm glad to hear that you like me, Carina. The feeling is mutual." Morgan chirped, with a smile.

She laughed at her words. Sting? Pain is nothing. "I'd rather feel pain and discomfort than be dead." Morgan said, as the two woman entered the granite clad kitchen. "Now, what exactly do we have to undertake to link, as you said?" She asked, her mind racing again.

"I'm a friend?" Carina asked, actually taken aback by the word itself. "Listen, woman. I am not your friend until I say I am. Just because I said I like you has no bearing on whether we are friends or not." She scoffed, throwing her nose in the air.

She walked over to the counter and pulled out a clean knife. "Simple, really." She spoke, shrugging. Taking the knife in one hand she sliced her thumb. Blood trickled down as she looked up from the wound to Morgan. "Do the same, press your thumb against mine and then when it's working, you'll know because our wounds will heal ovee, sealing the link." She explained, as if bored by it all.

It seemed Morgan's words struck a nerve, because in an instant she was getting chewed out and complained to simply because Morgan called this woman a friend. "Is it really that awful? That disturbing to you? I just called you a friend.. and this is what I get?" Morgan thought, readjusting her glasses. "It seems I already pissed her off. Wonderful.." She mumbled, before the woman picked up a knife and opened up her thumb, and started explaining how to go through with this link.

"As you say.." Morgan said, doing the same and pressing her thumb against hers. "Like that, no?"

She ignored Morgan's comment about pissing her off. She would soon learn that Carina had excellent hearing.

Carina lifted her thumb and pressed it to Morgan. As they did, the wounds began to heal, rather painfully. Carina inwardly winced as it finished and pulled her thumb back when it was done.

Aaaand, done. She sent to Morgan telepathically. Almost like sending texts.

She turned around and washed the blood off of her thumb to reveal yet another scar.

The stinging sensation was extremely intense for a few seconds, but the wound seemingly knitted itself up, leaving a bright pink scar. Morgan likes scars. Because each one tells a different story. Her eyes popped open wide as she heard Carina's voice inside her head.

"Text messaging? Yeah.. More like telepathic, supernatural text messaging.." She thought hoping the words were sent to her mind.

As strange as this whole linking thing is, she handled it well. As she did with anything that made her mind spin like a hamster wheel.

That would be the concept.

Carina leaned against the counter and stared at Morgan, obviously very bored.

I like communicating this way more. I don't have to waste energy and my conversations are private. Two for one.

A hint of a smirk grew on Carina's face. So, now what would you like to know? Carina asked, raising her brow at Morgan.

Morgan stared at the woman across the granite counter closely and curiously. Regardless of the fact that she's a werewolf, the author wasn't sure that she had ever met a person like Carina. There were plenty of questions she wanted answered, but there was one that stood out above the rest. Though, Morgan certainly didn't mind looking at her eyes, that's for sure.

She chewed st the inside of her lower lip before speaking.

Why do you trust me with this.. this linking? It seems rather.. intimate and personal, you know? Not that I mind.. but why?

Carina chuckled, a soft and bright sound, odd for a werewolf.

I don't trust you. If I trusted you, I'd give you full access. There is much more we could do with this linking but I like my privacy. Intimate, yes. Personal, sure! But that does not mean I trust you.

Carina ran her fingers through her dark red hair and scratched at her scalp.

Morgan sighed and rolled her eyes. Her cryptic nature and avoidance behavior was charming at first, but at this point in time, it was starting to get rather annoying. She wanted to know so many things.. but Carina wasn't about to let her be answered.. a huge pet peeve of Morgan's.

Lovely.. You know, it doesn't solve anything, being so cryptic like you are. You can tell that I'm not going to do anything rash or out of boundaries. Carina.. There's a lot you're not telling me, isn't there?
