At that Carina smiled. Trust had only ever hurt her. This time Carina spoke aloud.

"Roll your eyes as you'd like, but it won't change a damn thing." She explained. "There is a lot I'm not telling you and for good reason. Prove to me that I can trust you and I might fill you in but until then, I'll be much better off on my own."

"That's enough questions for now. I'm starting to get irritated too." Carina told Morgan. Quietly, Carina stripped her clothes off and changed into her wolf form. She curled up on the sofa among blankets and laid there.

I'll be out tomorrow. She sent Morgan, her eyes still closed. She needed to find Kaln and ask about that necklace because Morgan might actually be in more danger than she could handle on her own.

"As you say then." Morgan muttered, fiddling with her thin glasses. She opened the fridge and pulled out a bottle of soda, pouring herself a small glass full and walking back upstairs to her office.

It was cold and drafty up here, just how she liked her house. Morgan was sure that it wouldn't bother the incredibly strange she-wolf downstairs. She turned the monitor back on and began checking her email and social media, slowly sipping on her black cherry soda.

As the night went on, Carina found herself cold, even laying on the couch in her wolf form.

Still half asleep, the she wolf walked up to Morgan's room and curled up beside the warm body, happy for both the soft bed and the warmth.

She dreamt a lazy dream, something of her old life. Lazy hikes and lady bug dresses. The dream was a rose colored haze, the voices soft and muffled, the faces blurred.

However, one line gave her chills.

"Where on earth could my little bug be?"

Carina, now changed again and naked, squirmed in the bed, shivering and shaking though it was not cold.

A few hours later, the woman with the raven hair went across the hall to her bed and before even taking off of her glasses, she fell onto the king size double pillow top bed and quickly embraced sleep, for what seemed like the first time in at least two days. Resting peacefully, she didn't so much as even move until Carina, in wolf form came up to get warm.

Half asleep, she woke as the sun began to peek over the horizon. She noticed her new.. acquaintance was in her human form shivering and completely nude.

"Carina? Are you.. alright? Do you need anything?" She asked, just after clearing her throat of muck.

Despite the attitude she had gotten earlier, Morgan didn't really care. She was just glad to have company.. even if the company is a supernatural, werewolf lady whom she thought was beautiful and intriguing.

Carina jumped at Morgan's voice, snapping up into a seated position, cold sweat dripping down her face.

"Where could my little bug be?"

Carina could still hear the warm, syrupy voice in her head and it was enough to send her into a crying fit.

Her head fell into her knees as she began to sob, her back shaking violently with each hiccup. She could no longer remember why this phrase made her cry like this, but she hadn't had one of these nights in a very long time.

Morgan furrowed her brow and began gnawing on the inside of her lower lip. Without glasses, the bags underneath her eyes were very prominent, but at this point in time, she didn't think care about how tired she was. Her.. new friend started bawling, which made the raven haired woman sigh heavily.

"..Why are you crying like this? A bad dream..? What can I do to help, Carina?" Morgan said softly, timidly wrapping an arm around her back.

This was strange, to say the least. One simply doesn't expect to see a werewolf cry, even if the werewolf is a woman.

"I don't know." Carina replied, completely forgetting who she was with. She was mostly answering herself. She had no idea why she was crying.

Without thinking, simply knowing there was a warm body nearby, Carina fell towards Morgan and buried her face in the woman's lap, still sobbing.

She felt useless. Crying in a strange woman's arms but she couldn't really handle the loneliness anymore. She always told herself she'd be stronger but it never worked. Kaln would probably laugh at her right now...

She ran a delicate, pale hand through her hair, concerned about what exactly made the werewolf cry like this. All she knew is for some reason, she wanted to help the woman, but she didn't know how.

As Carina lowered her face into Morgan's lap, bawling, the black haired lady decided to wrap her arms around the girl. A bear hug. She didn't know what else to do. Bear hugs always seemed to make her sadness and fear go away, if only temporarily. .

"I hope you don't mind, Carina.. I felt like you needed a hug.." Morgan whispered into her ear.

At the moment, Carina didn't really have the strength to push Morgan away. The warmth of her body calmed her nerves and slowly Carina closed her eyes.

A slight, ever so slight, smile appeared on her lips. Soft and warm and completely uncharacteristic for the shewolf. She honestly hadn't felt this kind of warmth in a very, very long time.

All of the females in Kaln's pack hated her, thinking she was trying to steal their alpha away. Carina's face hardened as she thought of this and it led her back to the necklace Morgan had. Sighing, she pulled away from Morgan and turned to find her clothes, completely ignoring the implications of what had just happened.

"Since it's morning now, I need to go find someone. I'll be back." She told Morgan, a blank expression on her face. Innocent people shouldn't be in the middle of all of this and if anything Carina hadn't lost her sense of morals from all of this. She needed to protect Morgan and find out what she could from Kaln about all of this. He'd been far too vague about all of it. It was time she got answers. She wasn't a part of his pack and never would be and therefore didn't need to blindly follow him.

All the while thinking about this, she dressed herself, pulling on a pair of nearby shorts and t-shirt. She'd have to rememeber to take them off before changing. Didn't need to ruin any more of Morgan's clothes.
