@Rai
So let me get this straight cause i might've missunderstood, there will be 2 chances to not get hit? first for dodge, than second for evasion if the attacker rolls higher than your dodge roll? not sure why there are 2 of them...i mean if you fail the dodge i personally udnerstand that you also do not evade the attack

wouldn't it be better if the counter becomes available only if the initial dodge has been successful and the dodger needs to roll idk a dexterity/agility test to see if he manages to make the counter happen successfully (amongst other buffs and debuffs cause maybe you dodge in a way that does not allow you to counter etc)

@Kibaro Good insight. So it's basically like this. If you are not fast enough to match the movement speed of the one you are attacking you're most likely not to hit. But if you do match it you have to be accurate enough to score a hit on a moving target.

I agree that if you fail to be faster than the attempt to harm on your person you should be hit. Accuracy may be overdoveg it in physical close combat. Projectiles however will have an accuracy roll.

Good suggestion. Ill test out agility vs agility rolls more.

@Kibaro
Ok. I plan on just making the dice rolls and such for everyone for the most part. If thats ok with you guys. I just want you to focus mostly on the roleplay.

Ill even make the stats for each weapon, spells and more. In combat it will be based on your weapons damage output roll plus your strength or dex bonus. Spells will depend on intelligence and wisdom.

But as you play and try to attack someone ill let you know if you hit or miss and how much damage you did etc. Ill link to my rolls so you can see it.

Luck will be something ill play with in the background behind each attempt at something. Its a free chance to get what you want if it rolls high enough for you. Though I may scratch it off completely.

Pretty interested in this, though I don't have that much table top experience, it sounds like fun.

I'm more of a story guy myself but I love me some mechanics.

Thanks I'm working on both the story and the system. I figure automatic rolls will make things more interesting in the role play. I'm trying to implement it in a way that it isn't based on luck of the dice as often as your characters abilities and how you use them.

Soo, are those dice rolls set in stone or is there a way to get different dice? And also, we can we have demon characters?

Ofcourse you can hell I think the majority will be Demon. But By Demon I only mean to describe their look. They all are Descended and you can have them look almost anyway you want but as long as it follows the general appearance of their ethnic group (Tyro, Nayu, Lassa, Sol, Oro, Seraph & loosely Dragon) though you can mix the ethnic lines for more original appearances. The typical Descended look are like this.

Descended- Demon appearance
Female - deviantart.com/art/Dragon-Caller-84472..
Male - deviantart.com/art/Half-Dragon-370022921

Descended - Dragonkin appearance
Male - deviantart.com/art/Lizard-man-288986161
Female -
deviantart.com/art/Calliope-454046513

All having a mixture of Seraphim and Dragon in them. Some more oc pne than others. The majority however look like Demons. This is what makes a Descended

My bad didn't answer your dice question. The dice you get and the bonus number are constant and can only be raised through experience or items. Or some other booster.

Art - Art was founded by the Dragons. Painting stones and other solid rock to create symbols. It evolved to a form of media and writing over time. The Dragon Gods were pleased by its development. They wanted more designs and felt that art holds an aura. Each God, or Ruler, designed their own forms of art to symbolize their aura, their essence. Horrid, beautiful, calm, and more feelings were expressed through different mediums. Resulting in the many different forms of art to this day. The innovators of technology and art are the Tearians, the Lassa kingdom. With their technology to create visual art through lights, and music based on pure technology. All other forms of music in the world is traditional and old world. Only the Lassa have modern and advanced art and music.
