@Chapatrap

Just a FYI, China owns Shenyang, Dailian, and really, western Manchuria.

I'm going to argue that you don't own Manchuria/Manchuko at all (or have limited influence there) since, in your app, you say:

with heated border conflicts and tensions with warlord states like Manchuria, Inner-Mongolia, Tibet, and Xinjiang.
Doctoryzer

I'd be more than happy to include an arc where border conflicts in Manchuria create friction between Japan and China (Second Sino-Japanese War, anybody?) and we can even collaborate on an accurate map of East Asia but as I was referring to your application frequently while writing my own, I'm more than sure that Manchuria/Manchuko is still a Japanese client state.

Also, to try and clear shit up:

Because KingTip hasn't done anything.

Also I consider "stripped" nations to be regions where two players share territory in concert with each other, hence the banded Canada. You could probably apply this rule all over the British Empire, but we don't have anyone representing even the ANZAC countries.

I'm not the GM or mod.

But you should probably start reading everything and fill out the app and wait for Spectre or KingTip.

Huh, I totally forgot about Maryland's existence. Is it one of those disputed areas mentioned in the Sister Republics' NS?

@Chapatrap, your nation has been approved. I believe that you and @Doctoryzer can bring life back to this roleplay.

@TheEvanCat, your nation has also been approved. Mexico is an interesting nation to pick.

@deathkiller, I am fine with you having thirteen states as long as you understand that this nation roleplay isn't about winning. Are y'all alright with it or should I divide it up?

The map says I do own parts of Manchuria, Dailian was part of Manchuria, and is under the represented area of my territory.
I put a little red line representing my sector of Manchuria

Notice that the Manchurian coast, Shenyang and Dailian fall under ROC Authority.
Manchukuo has the east, north, and Inner-Mongolia.

@Chapatrap
I could see a possible small border conflict or diplomatic solution occurring due to the situation of the world.

@Doctoryzer

The problem looking at your app is that it's very unclear and vague. And the map is very unhelpful. I can see the cause for a lot of confusion or even points where you might push unspecified land-claims.

But I did include those areas in my map, which is not the area I'm contending here.

The areas marked are areas claimed and governed by the government; who has actual authority over the lands. But as a whole, the government claims, is pretty much the same as Taiwan's real life claims;

Name: The New Union of America

Flag:

Government Ideology:
Capitalist/Democratic Free Nation based on the old ideals of America, except a full republic than a democratic republic.

President
Jacob Hightop

Capital
Indianapolis.

States Claimed
Idaho
Indiana
Wyoming
Michigan
Kentucky
Iowa
Minnesota
Missouri
North Dakota
South Dakota
Nebraska
Montana
Illinois

Rough Population
20 million (Im not sure...)

Why did theses states unify?

After the disunification of the United states, it was clear the old way where, indeed, broken, but that didn't mean it couldn't be fixed, however. After Hoover was sent to prison for his crimes against the USA, the people realized disunification was not the way. In order for the united states to survive possible invasions from communistic and or fascist countries, they had to be united under a common flag. So, found supporters of the old US, the New Union of America has emerged. There goal is to rid the USA of all foreigners, Destroy all communistic or fascist ideals, and reunify the USA. Many senators and USA politicians had migrated to the NUA in hopes of being free from communist suppression in Washington DC. The NUA managed to free the declaration of independence and constitution, now seen in Indianapolis museums. Agriculture is a highly important to the NUA, and a rising industry in mining from the application mountains. The NUA has been recovering well since the depression, and life is becoming easier, if only slightly.

Military

The NUAs Military is quite a force to be reckoned with. With military weapons from Fort Knox, Kentucky, the NUA has been able to create BAR, M1grands, and even tanks and jeeps that would go in and out of the compound before the depression. What's left of the gold in fort knox is used in actually creating an real fighting military force. Soldiers usually wear standard American uniforms with bullet proof vests, and carry a common M1911 on there side. But alas, these soldiers are few in number, with only 20,000 active soldiers, as the military is still being trained up. The Bulk of the military relies on militia or mercenary groups that now inhabit the Disunited States.

Militia: Citizen soldiers with relatively small amounts of training and carry civilian grade firearms, such as hunting rifles or shotguns. What the soldiers miss in training and weapons, makes up for in large numbers.

Mercenaries: Mercenaries are not trusted by the NUA, But they are hired to participate in certain wars. The NUA only pays half before a battle, once the battle is completed, the other half of payment is restored. Mercenaries vary in numbers and equipment.

[imghttp://thumbs.dreamstime.com/x/germ..

Technology

The NUA is currently working on building better armors for there soldier, redesigning and fabricating, and testing newer and more improved armor materials on a daily basis. Some successes have been made, but is too costly to create....The NUA also has research on new ways to farm and cultivate crops, Better infrastructure, and currently studying on Albert Einstein's equations and math and relativity. Rising education with public schools are helping to contribute to science.

They're too northern to be southern and too southern to be northern. Poor Maryland.

Yea, but I don't know who they're disputing it with tbh.

I would assume Maryland itself. They're probably making threatening movements with their tanks while politely asking the Governor to join the Sister Republics.
