Hello! My name is FrozenEcstasy, the best damned romance writer you could have (if you keep my attention)! I'm over-selling myself, but the point still stands ;D I'm here in the wonderful 1x1 section as I am looking to rekindle some emotions toyed with in an old idea of mine, but with a twist that will make it all the more interesting!
So here's the basic plot premise, which I hope to extend upon with my partner to make each iteration I may or may not have of this rp different and interesting. A boy in High School/College has been largely dismissed as a nobody his entire life, forced to fend for himself and find entertainment in the loneliest of places, and avoided by many regardless of existence of reasonable factors. An accident occurs in which the boy loses some sort of bodily function that is either very noticeable visually, or noticeably effects his behavior. Many people suddenly begin showing a different, more "caring" side to themselves, mostly out of pity, others out of a need to seem like decent people. At first the boy enjoys the newfound attention to an extent, but as time goes on he realizes the general illusion that people have been fronting which disenchants him and sends him into a spiral of depression. On the other side of the coin, another boy enters the scene with an attitude that has transcended illusions and may come off as a little too blunt. He attempts to make friends with the newly disabled boy but his attempts have varying degrees of success. His reasoning may not be clear at first, but over time it comes clear that he may have a different definition for loss.
So yeah! Alongside that premise can come a myriad of different ideas and plot devices to play with the dynamics of the two boys and whether or not they can play friendly. As follows are some general ideas for plot dynamics:
Boy #1, Possible Disabilities
1. Blindness
2. Paraplegia
3. Deafness
4. Mute
5. Mental Illness
6. Loss of Limb
7. Extensive Scarring
8. ?????
Boy #2, Possible Dynamics
1. Mental Illness (Barring Depression/Anxiety. Despite being illnesses they are not something I wish to have in yet another RP)
2. Possibly Terminal Illness
3. Orphaned
4. ?????
Finally some personal rules and information for those who may be wondering or enjoy understanding a partner somewhat before a roleplay!
As a 1x1 roleplayer I prefer to have romantic themes in my stories of varying degrees of focus. This particular roleplay is heavily intent on a romantic relationship developing between the two boys, however, varying dynamics and ideas with my partner can very well tip the focus of the plot off of romance and onto another topic. I do not enjoy total romance without outside plot, instantaneous love and affection, or overdone tropes to romantic roleplays. I prefer to have my roleplays much more dynamic and exciting than just gushy gushy kissy kissy, though I do like my gushy gushy kissy kissy moments. When it comes to scenes considered 18+ I do not fade to black, but neither do I spend unneeded time describing a scene that can be boiled down to a few movements of action, that is to say, I will write scenes involving intercourse, but I will not spend excessive time on these scenes! It detracts from the roleplay! Speaking of such subjects, here are some rules for my general roleplaying pleasure.
Rule #1
ALWAYS communicate when your life is getting hectic or slow, or when your writing muse escapes you! To keep a 1x1 alive you have to have a constant stream of communication, neglecting to inform me of any changes that will affect our roleplay will surely let it die!
Rule #2
I do not have time for excessively overdone characters. That's not to say that I don't enjoy playing with popular character fantasies, but those characters in which not too much time needs invested due to how often they are portrayed will earn a squinty eye and possible a drop of a roleplay. As a side note, never feel that your character may not make the cut, if you spend time developing your character you are golden.
Rule #3
If you have interest in my roleplay, PLEASE bump this post for the next person to find interest, and then immediately shoot me a PM with your interests and a rough idea of what you'd like to get out of the roleplay! I will not discuss details in this thread and would prefer to take the information to Private Messages. As an added, I prefer roleplays through private messages.
Rule #4
As a roleplayer I am in the High-Casual -> Low-Advanced range. This means I have no time for one liners, limited time for one paragraph, and a lot of time for detailed paragraphs. I understand that post length may grow or shrink depending on what is happening, I just expect a sort of quality to be kept! I accept a minimum of two fully fledged paragraphs unless otherwise discussed.
With all this malarkey being said, PM me if you have interest! I am on EST and will respond as soon as able.

Can the two reconcile loss, love, and happiness? Or is their dynamic toxic to their own health?
