Milton the Zorua
@Polaris North@Shiny KeldeoA awkward laugh escaped the Zorua's lips when Spirit suddenly decided to lecture him for not calling him guild master or whatever... it was just weird hearing it being the first subject to come up at the moment. The Zorau rolled his eyes and shrugged it off, he figured it bothered Spirit that much he could just stick to calling him Guild master all the time then. Yet before he could actually think into it too much his thoughts just felt silent, 'but this is not such a case. In fact, it's quite the opposite.' how Spirit had just formulated his sentence left Milton speechless, what kind of epic mission demanded such kind of drama?... was they supposed to go out and hunt some bad guy or something?.
Then the answer came, and in an instant the excitement in the Zorua's face was just gone. He looked short on breath, started cold sweating and looked almost frightened. 'what in Arceu's name...' the Zorua thought to himself as he starred at the box placed in front of him. He was in quite the shocked state when the Guild master continued to explain what this meant. The Zorua sank down to sitting, never in any world had he imagined that this was what Spirit was going to tell them. It felt so surreal, today their innocence was officially lost, now they would never be able to goof off again and just have fun... or at least that was the feeling that squeezed at the Zorua's heart the moment when he saw the badge.
He would have thought this to be a happy day, to be a day of joy and celebrations... a day he could just shout 'I did it!... look mom, I'm a real Member now!'. Yet he didn't feel happy at all. Then as a drop of liquid fell on the badge the Zorua realized that he actually was crying... yet he couldn't decide if it was a tear of sadness or one of joy. His gaze lowered, his ears dropped and his tail tucked in between his legs. Spirit had decided that he was ready... yet he didn't feel very ready at all. Something thick and heavy formed in his throat making it painful to even breathe.
He just was silent through it all, he hardly heard the voices of the others before Zaru actually spoke to him. 'What will you do' that was the real question now wasn't it... one that the Zorua would repeat in his head a few times before replying. He would nod slightly without looking up at the others. Then he would just slightly glnce to Zaru as he prepared his response
"Mhm....I... I think I just head home..." he said as he picked up the badge and stood. He then turned tail and left, figuring that Spirit didn't really care how he felt as he was too busy with his own kids. Yet he was going to need time to let everything sink in... On the bright side at least his aunt was home.
Milton the Zorua
,Tzerah the Luxray
and,
?????
Milton had hardly raised his head when he got outside, and almost bumped into Tzerah who seemed to wait for someone outside. He raised his head slightly to glance at her before backing off
"Sorry... I... didn't see you" he mumlbed wondering if Tzerah would get mad at him, he knew she hadn't been in the best of moods lately and he certainly didn't want to end up on her bad side. Yet she smiled at him, and it was quite a shock to Milton to see her smile for once.
"Its okay Milton. You look a bit down... did something happen?..." she asked him and the Zorua looked away slightly before resonding to her and telling her what was going on.
Tzerah looked slightly surprised by the news, yet she was happy for him
"Is that so?... well that's very good news. Congratulations Milton. Hey... I know its sudden, but I know someone who really wish to see you. Come" she said rather cheerfully, unusually so for the Tzerah he knew... whatever had happened to her had maxed her in a good mood. He followed her as he didn't really know what else to do, and it was not like he couldn't trust Tzerah or anything... she was still a 'Good' pokémon even if she was extreme.
Eventually they reached the clearing out of town, it was a odd place indeed to go to meet someone without a appointment, but Milton was curious to find out who could want to meet him. Tzerah nodded to him with a smile
"Go on Milton, and thank you again for helping Lurrie." Tzerah said before walking off to leave the Zorua alone. Milton looked around the area, yet couldn't see anyone yet... he walked ahead slowly before calling out
"Hello?..." he called wondering where the one who wanted to meet him was.
Then all of a sudden he felt a presence behind him. he turned around and then his eyes went wide.
"Long time no see... Milton" the much bigger pokémon said. Milton gasped, and quickly dashed up to give the pokémon a big hug
"Dad!..." he said, sniffling slightly as he nuzzled into the large pokémon's chest. The Large pokémon chuckled slightly and nuzzled him back
"Oh Geez... such water works for lil'ol me. *sigh* I'm glad to see you too son" the pokémon said before gently putting his son asside and watching him for a time.
He smiled again
"Look how big you've become... and your a full fledged guild member now... congratulations. I'm glad I decided to stick around... I suppose I fell asleep after the massage... road makes you weary" he said and and looked into yonder.
"Big day huh, your aunt visit... your ol man... and a full fleged membership. I'm proud of you" he said giving his son another big hug. Milton felt so happy again... his dad had come home again, or at least so he thought.
"Thank you... I've missed you so much... we all have, are you coming home now?" he asked and the smile on the Large pokémon faded.
He slowly shook his head and then tried to smile anyway
"Not Yet Milton. Not when I am so close... That's why I have to ask that you don't tell anyone that you met me... promise me Milton... that whatever happens, you won't tell anyone, anyone... that you saw me here today... " he said very seriously and Milton couldn't help but to nod.
"But what about mom?... and aunt Espii?" he asked as he didn't really understand.
"I'm sure they will figure it out if they don't already have... now Go. I cannot linger here any longer... Be strong Mil. Destiny awaits you... Until the end of time" he said and then he was gone again just like that.
Milton sniffled, but dried his tears before nodding
"I Promise... I shall do my best dad. For you... and for everyone... Forever" he said and left for home.
He Glanced to Tzerah on the way back, yet they didn't speak of what had happend much on the way back. Milton wondered what their relationship was, but he also knew that it really didn't matter to him. His Dad was not together with his mom any longer, and he didn't really know his real parents.. He also knew that because of some bad pokémon, his father could not return home.
He felt a lot better when he came back, waved goodbye to Tzerah and went in to have a weird conversation with Espii about why he was walking with the law enforcer pokémon... but all was good and well in Milton-ville again.
Zeths "Relay" the Meowstic
@Banana@Shiny KeldeoHe nodded to Kargool as the pokémon seemed to cheer up when he arrived, it made him glad that he could at least fulfill some pokémon's day even if it was by a little. He seemed a bit embarassed when the Vanillite asked what had happened to him last night
"Oh that?... ehhh... Its a bit complicated I guess... I don't really recall much of yesterday. I believe its a bit of Amnesia... and I do believe I had a Psychic backlash... you see, when I use my powers to much and stretch my mind, it allow me to see far into the unknown... I can stare into the abyss, and the echo become so much clearer... images, voices and whispers from the past and future become clearer... but as you stare into the void... the void stare back into you... and the mental shock that come when you've exhausted your capabilities can shut down your brain... its called a psychic backlash... it can give you quite the nosebleed if your unlucky... and I suppose I shut down a bit yesterday..., luckily amnesia isn't too bad for a Psychic type... some of us do it to ourselves to increase our powers by choosing to forget things that at the time don't matter to make room for increased potential without concerns... Its temporary, and for me I suppose its a defense mechanism... Anyway... Enough of the rabble, I like not to think too much today... lets go grab something nice to eat, my treat" he said and led the way to the café.
When he saw Omen and serenity he looked a bit surprised, then he glanced to Kargool again as if something was off. Then he shook his head and approached them quickly.
"Oh hey your back... or did we meet already yesterday?... ugh... let me introduce you to Kargool... this Vanillite saved my life... unless you... already knew that. Short version, I had a bit of amnesia... again, not quite sure what day it is" he said as he took a seat and reached out his paw to allow a menu to come floating up to him.
"So...uhm order whatever you like" he said as he rubbed the side of his head to think of what to order for himself.
