Spirit the Lucario, Rico and Lulu the Riolu Twins
[Valiant Village - Sawk and Throh Dojo]

@Ninian @Light Lord
When they heard the two Pokemon come in, Rico and Lulu took a quick break from their practice and poked their heads out the door to see who it was. It was Devon and Celty, and Devon had some interesting things to say. The two kids listened in awe and surprise as Devon revealed these facts.

Spirit was momentarily caught off guard, letting the sandbag swing freely as he turned. "A Human? Hm... well, it most certainly wouldn't have been the first time I guess..." He said, sitting down into his meditative position. "It is only in the most dire of times that forces even Arceus cannot fathom call upon heroes from the Human World to protect our world. But... that is the thing..." He said, looking up at the two. "As many can tell you, our world has experienced nothing but peace since the Second Great War, and that was over ten years ago now... which means something is starting to happen, slowly but surely. It seems Omen had the right to be worried..."

He then starting thinking out loud again. "But yes, why now? There was no human sent to quell the Second Great War... does that mean the war was nothing compared to the coming threat..." He shook his head and returned to the questions at hand. "I don't know exactly what you're here for Devon, if what you say is true. I can only tell you is that you can't do it alone. Every Human has had trusted Pokemon Partners to help them along the way, some of the greatest teams in history were formed because of this." He pondered for a minute. "That being said, I highly suggest joining my Guild. I can help you learn to use your abilities and train you to the best of my ability."

Omen the Absol and Serenity the Sylveon
[Valiant Village]

@Iatos @Banana
When Relay questioned him about a green snake, Omen mused for a moment. "Snake, eh? Maybe... let me see... I have a book my dad gave me about things like that." He reached into his bag and pulled out a leather bound book and began flipping through the pages. "Snake... snake... ah, snakes. Let me read what it says."

"To see a snake or be bitten by one in your dream could mean that your hidden fears and worries are coming back to bite you. It could also be alerting you to something in your life that you are not aware of or that has not yet surfaced."

He closed the book as he finished. "So, it seems there's something deeply personal about what you saw, something only you would know, or will learn." He said.

Pachirisu
[Valiant Village]

@Iatos
It wasn't long before another Pokemon from the Village, Milton the Zorua, had found his way to her. She wiped the last remaining tears from her eyes as he asked her if his friend had talked to her. "If you mean Zaru, yeah, he headed out about fifteen minutes or so ago." She said, pointing towards the Tranquil Forest.

Celty the Mawile
[Valiant Village - Sawk and Throh Dojo]

@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo
The current conversation was now really between Devon and Spirit. However, she waited patiently. So far, Devon was probably her only friend, though she hesitated to deem a child such. Also, if he truly was a human, that made him immensely important. If she wanted to help Lucrecia, obviously helping Devon would be a first step.

Once Spirit said his piece, Celty let out a sigh, "Them's the breaks, kid. And uh, Spirit, he's definitely not lying. I doubt he's delusional either. I saw him about when he probably arrived here and he was really out of it. Like, not knowing how to walk out of it." Letting a groan loose, she thought to herself, Shit. Scratching the back of her head, she continued, "Well, if you need me to help train him or whatever, I know Crunch. Probably something he can learn with that big set of chompers of his. Just uh... let me know or whatever."

Kargool the Vanillite

Valiant Village
@Shiny Keldeo@Iatos
"Something only I would know...?" Kargool thought hard for a second. The vision was of a snakelike creature, but for some reason, Kargool thought that it really couldn't mean anything on a deeply personal level, as nothing came to mind initially. What that meant, however, could also mean that it wasn't a snake at all. Nevertheless, Kargool began to ask Zeths a question. "How long does the process of actually registering for a team here take? I've been waiting for like a day just to become a trainee."

Devon the Totodile
[Valiant Village - Sawk and Throh Dojo]

@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo
It was alot to take in for the amnesiac child. Everything that Spirit said about wars, forces that are above even gods, it both awed and confused Devon. But one thing was clear to him. If he was there, he was there for a reason. An awkward frown came over the Totodile's maw as he looked away for a moment. "This is alot to take in, I'm not even really sure how I'm supposed to help you guys, but...." Turning his head back up to the Guild master he nodded and put on a determined grin. "I'll do everything I can. I won't let you all down. I'll join your Guild Spirit, and I want Celty to help train me too."

Looking back at the Mawile he winked. "Gonna need all the help I can get right? And learning something better than Bite sounds like it would be pretty useful."

Zeths "Relay" the Meowstic

@Banana@Shiny Keldeo

He listened to Omen's answer and then glanced to Kargool with a shrug "Well there you have it..." he said as they at least got some kind of answer, then as he turned his attention to what he was eating at the moment he remembered something. "Well, A snake... or Serpent, usually represent Deception and lies... perhaps something is not as it appear, or perhaps you simply feel fooled by someone" he said as he pondered about reasons for a while. "The only Green serpent i can think about would probably be Rayquaza... so I suppose that's a possibility, not that I still have any clue what it could mean" he said as he thought about the matter

He then shot a glance at Omen and Serenity before smirking slightly "So... are you two planning any children yet?..." he teased as he couldn't really help himself... they just looked too cute together. He chuckled and glanced back at Kargool as the guild question came up "No, usually signing up for the Guild does not take a very long time, but I believe that Spirit might have had his hands full for a bit of time now and its really up to him if he want to accept new members" he replied as he figured it didn't matter much what he thought about the matter. "But, I would happily Recommend the pokémon who saved my life after all... It would be my honor to follow you on a mission someday... " he said before he thought for a bit.

He raised a ear into the air and concentrated deeply. 'Guild Master Spirit... It's Relay... I hope I do not disturb you in anything too important... I wish to leave a personal recommendation for a Vanillite named Kargool... I wish also to ask if thy is unable to take him on as a Member of the guild and his own team, if he per-chance is allowed to join me for the moment, that way I'm certain that he will not get bored by these long administration times..." he said as he connected telpathically to Spirit from where he sat, allowing them to commune freely in their own minds.

Zaru the Chimchar

The Chimchar had climbed up to the trees to use that as his path. Going alone was a bad idea, according to others. While Zaru is pretty confident in his abilities, he still needed to be cautious of course. And so he used where he was best at, up in the trees. He could boast that he would be unparalleled when it came to jumping from tree to tree and using it to his advantage. He frowned, still not getting a sight of Growlithe. He wondered where the canine pokemon had gone too, or if he had fainted or something. It would be easy to get out using the mystical power behind the badges but it would be bad if the pokemon had fainted, mostly because Zaru wouldn't be able to spot him too easily.

Spirit the Lucario, Rico and Lulu the Riolu Twins
[Valiant Village - Sawk and Throh Dojo]

@Ninian @Light Lord
Spirit nodded as the two Pokemon elaborated. "I would assume so, Celty. Such a probable sudden transformation would be sure to cause some... discomfort." He said, turning back to Devon. "I'm glad to hear this, Devon. You have my word that I will help you to the best of my ability. Training does not only entail moves and physical strength. Mental strength and clarity is a large part of my training, for even the strongest of Pokemon cannot achieve victory without a clear mind." He answered. "Your help is welcome as well, Celty. Thank you." He said to the Mawile. "For now, you will be treated just as anyone else would who becomes a trainee with my guild..." He began, then got the message from Relay.

He sighed, truthfully that Vanillite had been edging on his nerves lately, he even snapped a bit at him that night. "Relay... now really isn't the time. And honestly, he seems to lack patience, I can't work with a Pokemon like that. He has great overconfidence I can feel, and partially wants to make a name for himself. I have not said this in front of him, nor will I. He seems like a good kid, and I might give him a chance. But I don't know if he's a good fit for our Guild." He responded telepathically to the message. Looking back to the others, he replied. "Sorry, had a message from Relay about something. I'll begin your training the day after tomorrow. Tomorrow is a very special day for our village, and I still have some things to take care of today." He finished.

Rico and Lulu had been listening to the whole conversation, and finally decided to come out and speak. Lulu was the first to say something. "So... you're a real human? That's so cool, you'll be like those heroes we read about in our storybooks!" She said. Rico nodded. "But like dad said, we need to figure out why you're here. Everything seems fine here..." Said Rico.

Omen the Absol and Serenity the Sylveon
[Valiant Village]

@Iatos @Banana
Relay made the off comment about having children, making Serenity blush embarrassingly and Omen actually chuckle. "No, Relay, not yet... we're not exactly ready for that yet..." Said Omen. Serenity kept her eyes away from the Meowstic, now more angry at the question than embarrassed. The thought of having kids made Serenity feel... old. She wasn't that old yet, she still had a whole life ahead of her. Kids were nowhere on the schedule anytime soon. Clearly her reaction was response enough to the question.

Kargool the Vanillite

Valiant Village
@Iatos
"You're probably right about that. Him having his hands full and all. I guess that's unfortunate for a lot of us in some retrospect." Relay then brought up the familiarity of Kargool saving his life. While the praise was appreciated, Kargool didn't like being remembered that way to the Meowstic, it just seemed like Relay felt he needed to repay Kargool. "You really don't need to keep bringing that up, it's what most people would've done." Kargool began to eat his meal after speaking, and began to think whilst eating his food. After a bit, he spoke to Relay again. "If it's alright though, could I tag along with you for a while? I won't get in the way of anything, I swear!"

Devon the Totodile
[Valiant Village - Sawk and Throh Dojo]

@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo
The nature of Spirit's training made sense to the small scaled child, who quickly nodded in understanding. "Yeah, I get that. Fighting isn't just about how hard you can hit. You gotta consider everything else too."

The fact that Devon was going to start off just like everyone else at the Guild didn't seem to bother him. He opened his mouth to answer when the Lucario before suddenly sighed and went silent. A sort of confused look washed over his face before he spoke. "That's ok. I'm good without any special treatment. Having less attention on me would actually be better..."

Spirit explained his odd period of silence, and confirmed when the Totodile would begin his Guild training. The Big Jaw Pokémon happily pumping his fists at his sides with a grin. "Awesome. I can't wait! Thank you Spirit. But what's so special about tomorrow?"

Before the Water-type got an answer to that, the Riolu twins appeared out of the one of the other rooms and crowed around Devon. Clearly excited and curious about the fact that they had a human among them. A pink color developed on the crocodiles cheeks as he rubbed his head awkwardly and looked at both Rico and Lulu with a dumb smile. "Oh, uh, hey guys. And yeah, I am. Apparently I'm here to stop some sort of disaster that's going to happen to the world. Probably like those other heroes Lulu mentioned? I dunno, I guess a human showing up happens alot around here huh?"

Celty the Mawile
[Valiant Village - Sawk and Throh Dojo]

@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo
Furrowing her brows, Celty finally spoke up when Lulu and Rico appeared, her words aimed towards Devon. "I wouldn't exactly say a lot... but uh, yeah, you're probably going to be a key figure in whatever's going down. I mean, the stopping... of it. Er... yeah, whatever. Sorry." Realizing her verbal diarrhea, the Mawile let out a sigh. "Anyway, guess you're a new member of the Guild. Grats. I remember my old training. Heh, it was pretty tough. Doubt it was anything like it is here though. Most of my sh—" Celty caught herself, "stuff... was physical training. Not that there's anything wrong with sharpening your mind. F—" Once more, she caught herself, "Let's just say, had I had a clear mind... things probably would've went better for me. But you know."

Rico and Lulu the Riolu Twins and Spirit the Lucario
[Valiant Village - Sawk and Throh Dojo]

@Ninian @Light Lord
Spirit turned back to his training equipment. "My children can tell you everything you need to know about tomorrow. I've got my training to finish, and now I'm behind schedule. So if you'll excuse me..." The Sandbag quickly shattered upon his punch, its remains dropping to the floor.

"Don't mind Dad, he's just stressed after yesterday. He keeps himself restrained." Said Rico, looking back at the group. "Tomorrow is one of my favorite days of the year! The Founders Day Festival! It's so much fun!" Said Lulu excitedly. "Yeah, you see, Dad helped found Valiant Village along with a legendary team, the Swords of Justice. This year is really special, too, it's the tenth year anniversary of the founding!" Said Rico.

When the topic returned to Humans, Lulu tried to explain what she meant. "Well... really only four other humans have been known to have come to our world like that, maybe more. But those four are the most famous. They've defeated even Legendary Pokemon like Rayquaza, Dialga, and Kyurem!" She said, Rico nodding. "She's telling the truth. In fact, Dad's actually good friends with the team that defeated Kyurem." He said.

Zaru the Chimchar

Zaru had already gone across aggressive pokemon, most of them bug or grass types giving him a type advantage and making it easier to defeat them. He had the supplies to cure himself of the statuses that they give. It can be a pain to deal with, but when you have the cure, the rest just falls into place. The Chimchar had rechecked his supplies and found that he still had enough. Or at least, he hoped it was enough. This was a massive dungeon. Sure it was only one floor but it was hella huge. He isn't too bothered about it, to be honest, but he wanted to be done with it before the sun sets. He doesn't want to be tired at tomorrow's festival. While he doesn't usually do anything at the festival itself, it is pretty fun to watch pokemon go back and forth to celebrate.

He was confident that Growlithe was still roaming around. Hopefully, he was somewhere near. But it doesn't work like that most of the time. Fates really do look down on you. At least there were apples all over the place. When he does spot one, he would take a rest on one of the branches to munch on it then he would resume his search.

Devon the Totodile
[Valiant Village - Sawk and Throh Dojo]

@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo
The Mawile's extremely obvious censor job caused Devon to laugh a little before speaking. "Thanks Celty."

The Totodile's oddly brown eyes went wide as the twins explained more and more of the deeds of the previous humans to come to their world. It was certainly impressive, but it didn't really help calm the current human-turned Pokémon's nerves. "Whoa, they beat legendaries? Even Dialga? That's crazy....Am I gonna need to fight one?"

Milton the Zorua

@Polaris North

He nodded to the Pachirisu "Thank you. I be off then" he said as he dashed past the Pokémon and ran into the mystery dungeon. He was worried about Zaru and hoped that he did well, of course he was quick to notice that there was sings of battle... Fainted victims with light burns told him that Zaru had certainly been doing well.

Yet the Zorua didn't quite have the same luck with type advantage and quickly realized that he would actually probably end up in trouble on his own if he tried to fight his way through his opponent.

Thus he chose to use his illusion to look like the Inhabitants and run past then rather than fight them under the guise of actually belonging to the dungeon. He hurried as much as the conditions would allow and every time he picked up a trace of Zaru either by scent or track he would follow it with renewed vigor.

When he lost Track of him however he stopped to spin around and look. He searched around before deciding to call out to Zaru in hope that he would hear him without too many opponents seeking out the sound. "Zaru... Zaru, can you hear me? " he would call out quite audiobly before disguising himself as a rock on the ground.

Zeths "Relay" the Meowstic

@Banana@Shiny Keldeo

The Meowstic seemed to sigh slightly at the guild masters response but both understood what he meant and respected his choice. 'I see... Thanks for telling me. Relay out' he would reply to Spirit before making something of a hangup sound as he dropped the connection so Spirit could be certain that he no longer listened to his mind.

He then turned his attention to Kangool. He thought about what to do for a while but then figured that there would be no harm in Kangool teaming up with himself, after all he was still a member of the Guild and had the right to add new members to his own team. "I would be honored to have you along Kangool. Normally I don't really do missions and stuff as my work at the guild and library keep me busy... But for now I feel like I could use some field work... And quite frankly, I do believe I need to get out a bit more" he said as he got out of his seat.

He paid for them and then smiled to Omen and Serenity. "Well, guess I see you later. Come Kangool, let's pick up a mission at the guild and head out" he said as he turned to leave.

He headed to the guild, just assuming that Kangool indeed would tag along, and then as he looked over the mission board he nodded to himself. He smirked slightly as his eyes fell on the outlaw notices and as he realized that most missions was in the same area... That usually meant a single team could tackle all the requests... But he decided to leave some for the other teams and picked out one of the outlaw notices. "up for catching some crooks?... Should be a easy enough practice mission" he said as he headed over to confirm that he was taking the request to catch a Dwebble for the Flareon which had a mystery reward ... That is if Kangool didn't stop him.

Zaru the Chimchar

The Chimchar had rested once more on the branch of a tree, sitting down on it and then observing the rest of the place. It was a jungle maze and there was still no sign of the Growlithe. He then took an apple from his backpack and then started to munch on it as a snack. He had been in multiple battles earlier. Nothing too hard so it was quite fine, but it was taking a toll on the newly-promoted guild member. He wasn't in any rush anyway. As long as the sun was still out, he could still continue searching.

That's when he heard someone call his name. He couldn't pinpoint who the owner of the voice was but he heard it. Standing up and then eating the last bite of the apple, he headed towards where he thought the voice came from. He then stumbled upon a small clearing with multiple rocks in it, but no sign of life. He was pretty sure that the pokemon who called him was here. But then where was he/she? "Must've been my imagination." He muttered to himself before climbing up one of the trees to continue his rest.

Celty the Mawile

At Devon's question, Celty rolled her eyes, "That's probably why you're here, kiddo. Can't say I know for sure, but it seems like the trend. Anyway, Founder's Day Festival... sounds fun. I think I kinda remember hearing about all of this, but Valiant Village was always kinda far away so it's not really something I uh... kept track of." Looking around, the Mawile furrowed her brows, "So uh... what exactly do you guys do for the festival?"

Kargool the Vanillite

Valiant Village
@Iatos
"I mean okay." The Vanillite was ready to leave the village and actually explore somewhere for once. Waiting to register for the guild was great and all, but for ti to take this long was rather tedious, so exploring would pass the time. He checked the missions with Relay and after being settled on a mission, Kargool quickly went to retrieve his bag of personal items and returned to Relay's side, ready to go on the outlaw mission.

Rico and Lulu the Riolu Twins
[Valiant Village - Sawk and Throh Dojo]

@Ninian @Light Lord
Rico stopped and pondered for a moment. "Well... hmm... I can't say for sure, but you probably will fight something strong. Maybe not as strong as a Legendary, but something that powerful." He said, scratching at the back of his head. "But the Humans always had loyal Pokemon Partners at their side to help them along the way, they never had to do anything alone!" Lulu said.

Celty seemed more interested in the festival than prophecy though. "Well, it's just a town-wide celebration. All the shops are closed, and everyone gathers in town square. There's food, games for kids, and even a light show after sunset!" Lulu looked over her shoulder for a moment. "It's a good time for everyone, well, mostly... Dad finds the event bitter sweet... he founded this town with a Team called the Swords of Justice, and they went missing only a few weeks later." She said.

Devon the Totodile
[Valiant Village - Sawk and Throh Dojo]

@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo
The fact that Celty said that so casually, with a hint of snark even, only did more to daunt and annoy the Totodile. Blinking at the Mawile and staring for a moment, Devon eventually sighed and let his eyes drift to the side. "Greaaat...." At least Rico and Lulu attempted to lessen the blow by chiming in with their own speculations. A small smile spreading across the tiny crocodile's maw as he looked back at the two. "That's good at least. Hope you guys turn out to be right..."

Partners? Who would be my partners?.....I just got here two days ago, to say I barely know anyone would be stretching it.... A scanning glance was aimed at the two Riolu's as they explained what the Founder's Day festival was all about. Calculation glazing Devon's eyes and thoughts bouncing around in his head. Would Rico and Lulu want to help me?....It's alot to ask of someone I just met....It'll probably be super dangerous, especially if I need to fight a Legendary of all things....Then again, they did seem pretty excited about me being human.....

"That festival sounds like fun. It sucks that those Swords of Justice guys disappeared though. Did you ever find any clues on what actually happened to them?" The Water-type asked as he crossed his arms and continued to entertain the ideas of his fated quest in the back of his mind. I'll....Ask them after this.

Pausing, Celty considered Devon's words regarding their disappearance, before finally responding, "Yeah, that's a good question. I mean, I assume not since it's been years... and they're still apparently missing. I hope they're lying low or something and not..." Cringing, the Mawile averted her gaze. "...Uhhh..." A topic change was in order. "So uh... did you... were you guys training? Should Devon join you?"
