Drifter Chronicles is a High Fantasy based Role Play that is heavily inspired by Final Fantasy, Wild Arms, Dark Souls, Tiny bit of Steven Universe, Skies of Arcadia, Star Wars, Star Fox and Xenosaga. You'll have a lot of exploration, to adventure. In this Story, you died in some unfortunate accident. That Accident is entirely up to you, as well as the race of your character.

Because the character creation will be open ended; as in freedom of choice. I ask that you be original. Your character will appear as they did before they died; not some fleshy abomination that looks serrated by shrapnel. Be creative as you want. Were you a Star Ship Captain? A Serial Murderer? A Saint? A Hellion? Mage? Your backstory is up to you. Who you were may shape what you are, but not who you can become.

Your starting set piece will be on a beach during a sunset. What you do from there is your choice.

However there is a Cap, I don't want too many mages, too many hyper agile characters. Diversity is the Quota here.

would a golumn or in more modern terms, robot be a good character for this session? I think I have something neat planned for this.

I suppose a robot works, but they can't use magic. But it also somewhat goes against the whole "Well... If you're a machine, then how did you end up where you are? You never had a soul. Therefor could never transition here." That is my big thing.

What kind of technology are we talking in this new world? Medieval? Magitek? Digital? I just need a rough ballpark.

@LemonsHmm... Think of any Xenogame and a tad bit of Star Fox, but then I want you to some what downgrade it for the start. A good example of this is. "Machines can be powered by magic, but chances are you may or may not be natively adept at magic." So choose what you want carefully. I'll allow no more than two player mages. (Guess a good way to describe the technology at the start is... Sorta Rough. Like Jak 2. Though this isn't a rp based on any game. I just hope it is a good example.)

Edit: Starting Planet is a mishmash for plot reasons I don't want to go into quite yet.

@LemonsI like the concept about her, but I was like "So... Reincarnation?"
Everything that happens in the Roleplay is it's own real life. So it is possible she was reincarnated into another dimension. But for the most part, she seems very balanced considering she can go down in one hit. (As in she can go in really fast, and get out. But it is extremely hard to hit her by normal means.)

Very cute concept for a very grim Role Play. I like that.

Just fix up a few Grammatical errors at your leisure, but I intend to start on Saturday.
Safe to say she is a fighter.

Name: Itzal
Nickname: The Shadow or The Phantom (sometimes referred to as Little Kit)
Race: Cerinian, which is basically a human with fox ears and a tail.
Age: 19-20
Gender: Male

Appearance: Itzal has shoulder length white hair, decorated in silver beads (sort of like dreads in some places) and wears a beaded headdress adorn with a red jewel in the middle. He has red eyes, white fox ears and a white fox tail, that is banded with decorative bangles. He also has silver tribal tattoos on his legs and arms, though they usually can't be seen because of his clothes.

Proportionality:
Weight: 105 lbs
Height: 5ft. 1in.
Frame: Thin, slightly muscular.

Personality: Itzal is extremely compassionate and caring to the ones he loves and trusts, however it he doesn't know someone or doesn't trust someone, he becomes closed and cold to them. He has a strong sense of fighting for what he believes in, to the point he can even be manipulated to fight by others if he believes in the cause. Because of this, he is also willing to sacrifice himself to protect the lives of those closest to him. He can be very emotional and his emotions can sometimes cause him to lose himself if he is not careful. Despite this, he is very gentle and sees all life as precious, something that should be protected no matter what.

Job: Pilot

Fighting Style: Uses an array of martial arts when dealing with hand to hand combat (usually Taekwondo) as well as acrobatics.

Weapons from strongest to weakest: Blaster, Magical Staff.

Gadgets: Communication device (basically just a head set), Magic Crystals to power his staff.

Armors/Outfits: Usually wears a skin tight, black catsuit as his uniform, with a silver belt and black knee high boots and a gun holster. The boots actually have a sharp heel that can pierce into skin if needed. His armor is basically just a black gun proof vest.

Weight Class: Medium.

Awakening: Moves or abilities you would never normally have under normal circumstances. Typically extremely powerful.

Pros- Trustworthy, a dependable friend/partner (once he trusts you), good at planning for an attack, good marksmenship (with his staff at least), flexibility, compassion.

Cons- Over Emotional, willing to continue to fight to the bitter end, being untrustworthy of new teammates until he gets to know them, closing himself off when he needs someone, trying to handle everything on his own.

Racial Strengths- The technology from the use of magic, royalty of his home planet, the ability to speak the language of other planets, can sense magic from other beings and sense their family members (like a sixth sense).

Racial Weaknesses- Pacifistic, weak without a magic source, dependent on their magic, cannot use other technology very easily besides their own.

Background: Itzal was one of the princes of the now doomed planet, Cerinia. The planet was destroyed by unknown cause, Itzal and his older brother, Sabre and the rest of his people were killed in the destruction... Or at least that was the case until Itzal found that he had somehow come back to life. However, he found himself on a distant planet with nothing but his name, memories, and staff and has decided to become a pilot after sensing that his brother might be out in the universe somewhere.
