Looking for a friend to join a group rp together~
I'm looking exclussively for someone who plays males and is ok with MxM.



The reason why I'm looking for a partner is that I get easily bored in 1x1 rps, but none of the groups in this site are supportive at all to same sex pairings and most of the romance rps lack boys anyway, so I had the idea of maybe getting a partner who's also interested in group rp to act as a possible love interest. I don't mind if you later decide to go for someone else in the group, as long as I have someone to flirt with while I get comfortable in the rp.

❦ I'm open to most genres, be it fantasy, historical, modern crime or whatever, though I'd rather avoid boring modern slice of life and fandom.

❦ You can choose any of the existing group rps or, if you have an idea, we can create one ourselves. If you're already playing on a certain group or are a GM looking for players, that's fine too.

❦ If you want to apply, please post here a small CS (only an appearance picture and basic personality is fine) of the character you'd like to play and the kind of rp you'd like us to join and we'll talk. ^^

Is there any rp in particular that you would like to join?

I've never really had a hard time finding any Same-Sex pairings in RPs. They don't specifically advertise 'LGBT Friendly' but I think it's just an assumption. Honestly, if you put in a blurb about their sexuality, it'll attract other people of like minds.

It's like they come out of the wood work once they sniff the gay. We generally attract each other. But, I suppose it depends where you're looking. I really haven't joined an RP in which at least two characters aren't LGBTQIA+ and that's when I don't seek it out, explicitly. And this isn't talking about the group I generally roleplay with (of which there are 4-6 of us) because I know what sexuality their characters are. I'm generally talking about people I've only RP'd once before or not at all in the past.

Seriously, though, if you're worried no one's playing a character that might swing both ways, interested in anything, or what not, it's good to just ask or announce your own character's sexuality. It should never be the pivotal point of a character, but that doesn't mean it's not still important to who they are. ;p

Again, presume all RPs on here are welcoming to LGBT characters because it's likely 99% true. I've never had a character denied because I've explicitly stated that he's a gay character. I've never seen an RP that has totally barred any LGBT from the game. Generally, that'd likely cause a lot of backlash by a hefty amount of actual LGBT players on this site. If you go over to the Off-Topic area you'll see an LGBTQIA+ Hang Out and that's only a small portion of people on this site that are actually, legit LGTBQIA+ (there are an entire shit ton of us)

@HalfOfLancelot You've informed me a lot thanks. hope fully i can make and find more of these LGTBQIA+ rps and rpers.

@Neko Sensei It doesn't really matter to me fantasy/ modern day romance whatever. Maybe we could start small with like a Bl yandere simulator or something (because when it comes to beginners the kids need to stay in school) that a joke not meant to take literally of any harmful way if you could.

Hehe well, I see your point. i guess I just didn't join the right groups or simply had very bad luck, but my characters never managed to find someone of the right sexuality in all the time I've been on this site. I've also noticed how many people here only play characters of their same gender and sexuality, so sometimes groups lack some variety. But yeah, I guess I should just keep looking! ^^

Yeah, something simple could be the best, though I'd rather not start a rp myself, so we could choose one of the existing ones. So, take your pick and I'll follow you. ^^
