A high school for the children of heros...fun. Especially when the children of super villans are now being allowed to enroll in the school!

Name: Edward “Ed” Stone
Age: 18
Appearance:
Bio: Edward had what was for the most part a normal child hood, loving parents and good friends. It pretty much remained that way until his powers manifested themselves during the period where he started to grow his hair out. Whether it was out of fear or simply doing what they thought was best for him, everyone started to distance themselves from Edward. Oddly enough this only seemed to affect Edward positively, he could be seen reaching out to more and more people a smile always planted squarely on his face. A few years later and Edwards is starting his new life at this school with people like him, Whats the worst that could happen?
Ability: Prehensile hair that can shift Density at will

Notes on power: As powerful as this is he still needs to be able to support in on his head. This is often done with the majority of his hair being devoted to propping him upright and spreading the weight.

Name: Ashley Chalk
Age: 16
Appearance: Tall and athletic with long, literally dirty blonde hair. Her body is constantly covered in a layer of a white, ash like substance, so she wears goggles to keep it from getting into her eyes as she moves. She also wears large jackets all the time.

Bio: Ashley is the child of a pair of prominent scientists specialized in developing weapons, gadgetry, and countermeasures for the heroic set. One day their laboratory came under attack and a fire quickly spread through the facility. Ashley, left alone in the lab and surrounded by roaring flames, set off an experimental fire extinguishing bomb in desperation. The experimental compound within the bomb put out the fire, but Ashley was not only covered in the stuff but inhaled a large quantity of it. The side effects of the bomb left her in her current state.

Ability: Ashley is covered, head to toe inside and out, in a self-perpetuating ash like substance. This substance is impervious to all manner of heat. If placed atop burning coals someone would be able to walk across them with no danger of being burned. If someone dived into molten rock they'd drown, but wouldn't have to worry about burning. Ashley can consciously generate large quantities of this substance and expel it from her skin, sometimes at high speeds. Ashley can not stop the ash from self perpetuation. Even if washed off completely her skin will be covered again withing a few minutes.

Name: Loki Laufeyson/Laufeydottir
Age: Appears to be somewhere between 17 and 22

Bio: Loki - or this Loki at least - should not exist, not like this. Not here and not in this form, or forms. He/She was accidentally - and unknowingly - created by another Loki, the God/Goddess of Mischief and Stories while more or less restarting a universe. Though this Loki is not the same as the Loki who created Him/Her there are some minor similarities - personality wise at least. However the Loki of this world has nearly no memories of any other Loki. He/she just wants to learn how to be a real hero and doesn't care about being a God or a Goddess.
Ability:

Shapeshifting - The only ability Loki has more or less mastered by now - though he/she can't quite control the ability the shifts themselves are well executed, but for instance being startled can cause him/her to change shape by random.

Super strength and durability - Strong enough to stop a train and durable enough to shrug off for instance being stabbed in the gut.

Ability to create minor illusions - Loki can create very lifelike illusions, but his/her short attention span makes keeping them up very difficult.

Flight - Loki can fly, not very fast though. It's more slow levitating than real flight at this point and losing his/her concentration brings him/her plummeting to the ground.

Energy projection - Loki can hurl around bolts of energy, admittedly he can't collect enough energy to do any proper damage yet. The ability however is very good for making toast and looks kinda cool.

Teleportation - Loki has NOT gotten the hang of this ability yet. He/she might accidentally appear in a completely different place than where he/she intended to so for now the teleportation is more random blinking.

Name: Ace Quinzel

Age: 17

Appearance: Ace stands around 6 feet tall, he's slim, thin, yet oddly durable. His shoulderlenght hair is sickly gray, his skin pale but healthy, his eyes, left one blue, right one green, are filled with life. yet still hollow. In all of his oddity, he does still seem..Normal. As if all the abnormalities on him would belong and it would infact be everyone else that were missing his properties. The left side of his face has been badly burnt, and even though the wound is healing, it is still clearly visible.

On the back of his right hand there is a crude and crooked tattoo of a laughing mouth with three ”Ha”s coming out of it.

His traditional clothing seems to include black sneakers, white socks, black jeans, white t-shirt, and a black trenchcoat.

Bio: Ace's childhood was a complicated mess. Nearly as soon as he was born and the word o nthe street begun to spread that The Joker has a child, Batman took Ace and did his best to hide him from his biological parents. After a few years had passed, The joker marched into Ace's foster home, killed his foster parents and took his child back ”home”. Only a short while after Batman once again took Ace away to hide him and sent The Joker and Harley Quinn once again into the Arkham Asylum. When The Joker escaped from the Asylum, he seeked out his son again, killing his foster family and hiding him away personally. Years passed before Ace saw the light of day next time as he was once again discovered by Batman and the Gotham Police Department as his father took him into an old factory, the very same one he used to work himself so long ago before people even knew the name ”The Joker”. He demanded that Ace would jump down into the very same container of what Ace can only call ”Goop” that turned The Joker into himself. After Ace refused, his father tried to push him in. Fortunately for Ace, he did not fall into the goop, yet the right side of his face hit the container that held few drops of the goop and the contact left a burn on his face that still remains to this day. He was recovered while still unconscious and deposited into another foster family, this time the family was palced under a surveilance. He remained i nthat family until they chose to send him away for their own safety, thus he landed into the institute.

Ability: Normality. Two negatives have once again created a positive, thus Ace is highly resistant to abnormal to the point to immunity. These Abnormal states include:
-Sicknesses
-Natural and artificial poisons
-Illusions
-Most acids
-Most drugs(Medical and hallucinogenic ones)
-Mindcontrol(Unless the controller in question is a very powerful being)

Aside from his personal ability, he has inherited high pain tolerance from his parents, as well as a possibly wide range of mental issues his body does not seem to reject for one reason or another. However he seems to either have a firm control over these issues or then they are just mere assumptions.

My brains! I began thinking about Loki's backstory a bit further and it gave me a horrible headache!

Since this Loki which I will now refer to as RP!Loki is the accidental creation of another Loki - henceforth referred to as Loki!Prime I am going to go with the assumption that RP!Loki is going to see nightmares about all the bad things Loki!Prime did before changing from God of Evil and Mischief to God of Stories and Mischief. Now ofcourse for RP!Loki the whole thing is just that - very strange and sometimes creepy dreams, but... Well...

RP!Loki has had a much nicer childhood than Loki!Prime and has pulled much tamer acts of mischief and all that than the L!P. The main reason RP!Loki has been sent away from RP!Asgard is to see if he can do other things than just mischief and tell good stories. RP!Loki also adores Thor - who is s very much like his actual comics counterpart, but is actually a bit more trusting towards his half brother.

Then again RP!Loki might not have a childhood or memories of one since there is a high chance that he just appeared one day out of nowhere, heck, there might not even be an Asgard connected to this universe.

Name: James Hunter

Age: 16

Appearance:

Bio: James's life growing up can only be described as absolute shit, up until a few years ago. Upon discovering his ability, his parents, who both had worked for some shady organization, had him brought in for "testing"(well we know who the parent of the year award ISN'T going to!). Of course, when everyone around him started getting angry that they weren't getting the results they wanted, that's when the nightmares started due to all the negative emotions. The anger and fear around him caused his mindscape to slowly twist and warp from the paradise it once was to reflect his view on the world, which, in his opinion, is a dark and horrible place, thanks to what he went through. It wasn't until sometime after his 12th birthday when the facility he was being tested on inside of was discovered by the government and, once everyone there was taken into custody, he was brought to the X-Men for training due to the fact they were just about the only ones able to help him get some semblance of control due to certain particularly powerful psychics. Though he was very well educated while he was inside the facility all those years, he still had no contact with anyone outside before being freed. He ended up being sent to the school to help him try to socialize with more people his age, now that he had at least enough control that his mindscape wasn't affecting the area around him all the time, and even Professor X himself had noted that he did not want to be inside James's mind any deeper than just surface thoughts.

Ability: Mindscape Projection - It is actually a very unique, hard-to-control power. James's ability is psychic in nature, but rather than reading minds, he has an inner world that he has control over, though it is also heavily influenced by his emotions, and too much stress or negative emotions can cause it to become unstable and start to warp and change depending on the emotion and how intense it is. The largest problem with it though is that due to the fact that James has constant nightmares and is very easily stressed out, his mindscape is a twisted, nightmarish parallel of the real world. When he gets past a certain point of stress, little pieces of the mindscape will "escape into the real world, causing havoc, completely out of his control, or others can be "pulled" into the mindscape, and will be seeing it and able to interact with it, when at the same time they're also in the real world so everyone else will think the ones seeing the mindscape are hallucinating. Due to how hard to control his power is, sometimes James will see parts of his mindscape mingling with the real world, causing him to become stressed out and make everyone else see it too.(for those of you who know the game F.E.A.R., I got the idea from seeing what Alma could do before you release her. When she just makes you see stuff. Stuff that can hurt you, but still just seeing stuff)
Emotion Sensing - James is sensitive to the emotions of those around him, able to sense what everyone is feeling as he passes them, though he senses negative emotions more intensely, which in turn makes his other ability even harder to control due to the stress of feeling others' negative emotions on top of his own.

Name: Tanith "Tanya" Senatore
Age: 19
Appearance:
Bio: Born in a small, amicable family, Tanith's life was an interesting adventure for her parents and her older brother. Unlike them, she was conceived with a genetic mutation caused by unknown means that resulted in her abnormal anatomy. Although they were both shocked and confused by the news the doctor provided, her parents decided to keep her as a child instead of giving her up for scientists to be a human test subject.
Her childhood was somewhat awkward, but could still be considered to be good. Raised to be sweet and gentle with people, Tanith managed to overcome most of the prejudices she received from her other, normal classmates. She was never popular, as any attempt to upset her with her appearance dwindled when they were confronted by an upbeat attitude and a bright smile. One of her classmates even came up with the nickname "Tanya" when he heard it on TV, saying that it was simpler to say than Tanith. Agreeing with his reasoning, she soon began using it to the point where even her family called her that way.
When she was beginning high-school, she recognized a face on an old poster, refering to an old criminal. When she brought it up to her brother, he agreed that the man indeed looked like their previous neighbour, who moved away when she was 1 year old. The man in question, a retired chemist who developed devices for other evil-doers, had turned himself in for an unknown reason. Tanya asked around and, after a considerable amount of time, managed to arrange a meeting with him: the man, Gaston Turner, had agreed to the reunion when he heard that she was the little, mutated baby that lived right next to him. When they saw each other, Gaston was quick to explain the origins of her condition: the residues of his products had affected her mother's pregnancy, resulting in Tanya's condition.
The moment Gaston realized it was his fault, an overwhelming feeling of guilt took over and made him confess his deals to the police, along with the names of a great number of his business partners, in order to make amends for it. Seeing that Tanya was doing fine, Gaston was very relieved and wished her luck in life. It wrecked Tanya's feelings to learn that, just a few days after the meeting, Gaston had committed suicide. After mourning his death, Tanya decided to finish wrapping up the results of Turner's change of heart and, with her parent's permission, she entered the Hero School.
Ability: Draconic Visage: Tanya's body possesses several qualities that one would commonly associate with a dragon:

• Scales: Some parts of Tanya's body are covered in auburn scales, namely her hands, forearms and most of her back and legs. They're notably durable and resistant. In addition...
• Claws: Tanya's fingertips have taken the shape of short, sharp claws. They make for good weapons, but otherwise they're cumbersome for daily chores.
• Feet: Tanya's feet have been described many times as feral, their ankle being in a slighty higher position than normal and both of them posessing three thick fingers instead of the normal five. In addition, her feet also have a claw on each finger and a sharp protuberance just below her ankle. As a result, her position naturally adjusts itself in order to mantain balance.
• Horns: Tanya sports a couple of large horns, made of the same material than her scales.
• Increased Body Mass: As a result of her scales and horns, Tanya's despectively heavy for her build.
• Enhanced Strength and Agility: Taking in account the additional weight it bears, Tanya's body has naturally developed its muscles in order to deal with the increased mass. Thanks to this, and to a regular work-out routine, Tanya is slightly stronger and faster than an average human
• High Body Temperature: Tanya's body temperature is a couple of degrees higher than that of a normal human. This leads to a natural resistance to both hot and cold temperatures.
• Enhanced Senses: Overall, Tanya's hearing, smell and sight are quite good. However, her sense of touch is notably dull, hampering Tanya's ability to sense temperature
• Enhaced Immunological System: Self-explanatory, her biological defenses are notably high.
• Chemical incompatibility: As a result of her wildly mutated anatomy, most chemicals will work differently on her than on normal persons, having either an increased, diminished , or even an abnormal effect on Tanya.

Or then RP!Loki's powers of illusion might be so shoddy because he is constantly - and unknowingly keeping up a MASSIVE illusion of Asgard and all of it's inhabitants as a sort of a coping mechanism since he has no memories of his own and has to piece things together from what little of Loki!Prime's memories there are.

Maybe RP!Loki's sort of personal story - or in Mass Effect terms Personal- or Loyalty Quest - could be about finding out what all the things he is seeing are about - and somehow contacting Loki!Prime to either merge with the original or at least to get some answers and maybe a bit less confusing start for his story... Not to mention a happy conclusion.

On a side note how creepy would it be if an alternative you was sending you passive aggressive text messages?
