Despite Celes' objections, they decided to let the dragons carry them to the top of the tower. There was some conversation going on between Miles and Anthony on the way up, which Josh chose to ignore, as he was a little bit lost in thought at the moment. The only other legendary he'd seen in person before was Darkrai, and he wasn't sure if Reshiram would be anywhere near as friendly. All he could do for now was hope that Reshiram was willing to help them.

[Dexter]
Nina, as usual, began asking Mariah questions about the thing that was controlling the wild Pokemon. According to her, it separated them based on their strength, so they would only attack Pokemon that were around the same strength as them. If it really did do this, wouldn't that make it easier for weaker Pokemon to get through the mystery dungeons? It seemed like the more Dexter found out about this thing, the less its actions made sense.

His thoughts were interrupted when the Golett they'd just knocked out woke up again. It had no idea where it was, and when Nina explained to him, he was even more confused.
"Mystery dungeons are places where everything gets shifted around and the wild Pokemon attack you. Mt. Dragoncoil is one of them." He said.

After spacing out again on why I was so unsure of how long I've been in the guild, myself, as well as anyone the salamence was carrying got dropped off at the top floor, where I could see Desia, as well as Quartzil apparently trying to corrupt Reshiram, who stood there, roaring either out of annoyance, or pain. "Well, looks like he's going insane from our corruption... ah, well, he's your problem, now!" Desia said to us in an oddly happy tone of voice. "Yeah... I dunno what he's gonna do next, so it's a good thing I'm not gonna be here when he does it," Quartzil added, though, he really just reiterated his boss' point. before I could say or do anything, the two opened up some sort of portal and jumped through it, leaving just us, as well as the charizard, salamence, and the other group... as well as Kamina when he gets here... and Reshiram, himself... actually, that was quite a lot of pokemon, maybe I shouldn't have said that they 'left us with just' some of us. Either way, Reshiram roared again, and shouted "MORE INTRUDERS! HERE TO TRY TO CORRUPT ME FURTHER, NO DOUBT!" I tried to say something, but before I could, he shouted again "SILENCE!" and then he attacked me with Fusion Flare... and as my vision faded, I remembered someone telling me about a magical seed that can revive pokemon, even after they've fainted... but they were always too expensive, or just weren't available, so, I guess I never had them... and this was no different. Anthony seemed to be worried about me, how I just took that attack, and wasn't waking up from it, but... maybe he should be worrying about the attack headed his way, instead.

[Anthony]

It seemed like Miles was being very vague about why he was like that, just saying 'bad stuff happened', and I wisely opted to not ask him what, exactly that bad stuff was. Instead, it was a very silent ride up to the top, while Kamina was no doubt causing chaos for the entire tower now. Once we landed, Spruce tried his hardest to attack someone off in the distance, but couldn't quite get there before they left... just as well, once I got there, he was at the front of the group, and he took some sort of powerful fire attack, causing him to pass out, instantly. "Spruce, no!" I shouted as I made my way over to him, unaware of yet another attack, this one aimed me. I ended up taking the attack, and my vision started to fade, as well. "Someone... please... get... him...!" I tried to say to my teammates before I, too, collapsed right in front of the giant, fuzzy dragon-type, who took a few steps forwards, and shouted, yet again. "INTRUDERS! ALL OF YOU! I WILL DESTROY ANYONE WHO DARES TRESPASSES ON MY TERRITORY!" He then used some sort of weird attack that involved bright lights, and would probably be especially damaging to void or shadow pokemon... which happened to include Daniel, who was the next to get knocked out, and heck, the guy even landed on me as he fell from the air.

[Nina]

"Everything... shifting? I wonder if this could be the work of HIM... but, no, Arceus locked him away about a hundred years ago, didn't he?" The golurk started in response to Dexter's explanation of what mystery dungeons were. Mariah then decided to ask "Who's Arceus?" The golurk, stunned, tried his best to explain... "Arceus is a legendary pokemon whose powers are only exceeded by one other... he is responsible for creating all of us," Of course, I didn't buy into any of this, I was never into religion, or myths about pokemon who probably don't exist, but Mariah seemed captivated by it. "Wow... a pokemon strong enough to create all life?" she asked, mystified by the golurk's description of what almost every pokemon thinks actually happened. "Yes... I knew him, as well... long, long ago," I then finally butted in, and said "Alright, enough bible talk, and enough of the pronoun game, who's the 'HE' you're talking about here? WHO is responsible for mystery dungeons, just going off of the fact that they constantly shift?" the golurk seemed a little angry at me, and he responded with "HE... if... he has agents here, then I should not speak his name, lest he hears me, and attacks me... again," again? This guy's been attacked by this thing, and he STILL won't tell us about it! I thought, somewhat impatient by now, and a little bit mad at the golurk for being so vague. I had a few choice words for him, but, instead of saying them, I decided to stay back, and try to calm myself down... sure, some other team probably took him down, but they were stronger than we were, clearly, and I wasn't ready for a fight with a pokemon as big and strong as this golurk.

[Bonnie]

It confused me to not end why Tini was suddenly a genius when it came to catapults, and other 'siege weaponry' as he called it. "Er... sure... yeah, we uh, can't make one, or use anyone here as one," it was really best to not encourage someone like him when it was life or death. I wonder... it's not really that long of a jump... perhaps if I used Jump Kick, I could get across... I thought as I looked at the chasm, and as a few pokemon flew overhead, as if taunting the fact that nobody in our party could fly. I then almost did it, but, then I remembered that I still had to get everyone else across... for all I knew, there weren't any other planks of wood big enough, or strong enough to hold them. Come on... we can't be stuck here! There's gotta be a way for all of us to get across! I basically shouted at myself as I paced back and forth, the client just watched in confusion, and eventually boredom as we got absolutely nowhere fast. I then saw a dragonite land on the opposite side of the chasm, a strangely familiar dragonite, too. I also remembered a bit about her seemingly coming to her senses after we knocked her out... maybe she could actually help? It was worth a shot, at least, and I ran up to the edge of the cliff, risked everything, and used jump kick to somehow get to the other side. I closed my eyes on the way there, but the feel of rock under my feet so soon after I jumped could only mean that I succeeded. I tried not to shout anything, even though I really wanted to, given my recent success, and simply walked up to the dragonite, pretending to be calmer than I was. "Hey, um... miss? Would you mind helping my friends out? We need to get to this side of the mountain, but... well... we can't do it, 'cause there's this huge gap. I only got here through sheer luck," I explained to her. I honestly expected a 'no', but, she actually agreed to help, and she flew over to the other side, picking up Eralion, first, Tini second, and then the client once everyone else was safely on the other side... of course, I almost asked her to help us find the lost nidorino, but she flew off before I got the chance.

When Celes saw Desia, she frowned at what she was doing to Reshiram. She tried as best as she can to go and strike Desia before she went away, but it was too late. He own white chain missed completely. It was then that she saw Reshiram suddenly go and knock out both Spruce AND Anthony in one hit, as well as Daniel. It was then that something in her snapped... She looked at Reshiram.... mad, seeing his energy that seemed dark... devoid of... anything...
"This... has gone too far.... you are not even seeing reason! We are not here to attack! But you won't listen! So there is only 1 way to make you see!" she then says as she starts her assault onto Reshiram, striking with white chains as quickly as she could now, trying to damage him as much as she could now. She had to make him see reason... and she felt like her chains might be the key to this.

Eralion looked as Bonnie actually moved and.. jumped over the chasm! He really didn't expect that to happen. It was then that he saw the dragonite as it flew to them... and actually picked him up and started to bring him to the other side. Thank god.... That chasm would have ended our journey there. He looked at the dragonite as she went to fly to get Tini.
"Thank you so much for the help!" he then says, relieved by all this.... It was surprising she actually was able to bring him to the other side though... considering his.... size... He waited there.

Kamina

How many floors had he lept through? Kamina had lost count a long time ago (although he was never really keeping count in the first place, so for all we know; he lost count on the third floor). However, at long last, he saw the sky again. "Woah! Now that was a work out! Heh, there's a pretty nice view up here." It was then that he noticed Reshiram "Oh, you must be Reshiram! It's great to see you, we really need your help. You see; this guy froze this nearby village, and we need your fire to thaw it. I don't remember what his name was...and think he might be your brother or something? I don't know. When I have this much adrenaline pumping through my veins, my memories can get a little foggy sometimes." His one sided conversation with the legendary came to a halt when he saw two of his comrades knocked out "Spruce! Anthony!" Rushing to their side, he coiled his body around them "does anyone have medicine!?"

---
Tini

"WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" So this was what it was like to fly. The sensation filled Tini with a deep longing for a set of wings of his own 'and they'll come with arms too, so I can hug people better! Oh man, I just can't wait to evolve!' His ride ended too soon for his tastes, but he didn't want to be rude and complain, so he kept that small amount of unhappiness bottled up inside of him [SO IT COULD STARVE AND WITHER AWAY]. "Bye-bye nice lady!" he said as she flew away, after having ferried everyone to the other side "well...that was fun. What's next?"

At the top of the tower, the group ran into two Pokemon who appeared to be corrupting Reshiram. Unfortunately, it was too late to stop it. Reshiram was already fully corrupt, and the two Pokemon fled before anyone could do anything about it. The corruption seemed to have altered Reshiram's mind, and thinking they were intruders, he attacked. In almost an instant, he had already knocked out Spruce, Anthony, and Daniel. Josh didn't have any reviver seeds on him, and as far as he knew, nobody else did, either. If they wanted to have any chance of defeating Reshiram, then they would need some sort of plan.

At that point, Matt began putting up his screens, providing them all with a defensive boost that might prevent Reshiram from knocking them out with a single attack. They also had Celes and Kamina, who would take little to no damage from Dragon and Fire attacks.
"Celes, I need you to get in the way of any Dragon-type attacks headed my way." Josh said. "Kamina, you do the same for Miles."
Josh got himself into a position where Celes was between him and Reshiram. This way, she could easily block any Dragon attacks aimed at him.

[Dexter]
The Golurk knew a lot about the thing that created the mystery dungeons, and had even survived an attack from it at one point. He decided not to tell them anything, though, since he thought it had agents there that would hear them.
"You've got to be shitting me." Dexter mumbled under his breath. He was careful to not let the Golurk hear him, since pissing him off wouldn't do them any good. He decided to let Rebecca and Nina handle this, since he was pretty much useless in this kind of situation.

The Charizard landed on the top level of the tower, almost wobbling upon landing. We officially took the honour of fighting Reshiram, because (as usual) Desia was already getting her plans ahead. I rubbed my eye and coughed a bit, seeing Reshiram with syringes sticking out and purple fog building up around him. He seemed otherwise okay, if not weary and already looking beaten down. "The things people did to win wars." I remembered that quote from Davis, a certain line spoken with anger and bitterness when I first learnt about history.

Either way, I kinda tuned out to Desia and her minion, more worried about the fact the legendary was beginning to stir. A few syringes broke off into shards and needles, while a portal behind him sealed in a great thundery flash that made Reshiram berserk. I was uncomfortable at the thought of annoying him, let alone actually fighting him...

The air pretty much jumped at the same time as myself, considering the volume that Reshiram spoke at when determining the fact we were intruders. He wasn't wrong, but unless he had a receptionist then this was the way to go. He didn't even sound like a deity, the panic in his voice just proving anticlimactic. That said, by the time I tried to open my gob, a bunch of bright lights almost blinded me to the left, followed by a cascade of blue explosions and heat waves. I almost went deaf from the force of the explosion that struck Spruce, only aware that Spruce was down because Celes went berserk against damned Reshiram. "Oh for crying out loud..."

Then Anthony was a goner from an attack I couldn't even perceive properly, and so was that bird Daniel in a cascade of... it looked like light was disappeared in bars. I felt sorry for him considering I tried accusing him of plotting against us. That certainly wasn't the case when he fell flat against the metallic floor, and I couldn't do much but feel paralysed by inaction. Three of our party members were already down in a minute, Anthony's charred helmet rolling towards me a reminder of that testament with his pleas still ringing in my ears. I was really just stunned by the immense power of a legendary.

"Alright, alright... I gotta... something's gotta happen." I swallowed and nervously held Anthony's helmet with my magnet, trying to take my mind off the fighting. While Celes smashed at Reshiram with all her might, I tried examining every detail of the slug's helmet. It seemed to have lots of scratches, chipped and flaking in places. I nearly dropped it as a sudden tint of blue appeared in front of my eye, a defence rolled out by Matt.

Behind that screen was a Pokemon that couldn't believe his eyes, the respect slipping away from his horror-drawn face.... "No, t-that's wrong. That's not how any of this legendary stuff is supposed to work..." Davis told me lots of things about legendaries, but... seeing Reshiram outlandishly acting like a mad Pokemon, raving on about destruction of others and a need to end us... I felt an urge to act. I put away my thoughts and stereotypes of higher Pokemon. As extra lights appeared in and out like Davis' old war films, I was reminded at the task at hand. Who cares if we failed? There was an entire village frozen over... and looking at a helmet that belonged to one of my fallen team mates.

I'll tell you now, the act of putting away my beliefs in god-like Pokemon let me confront Arceus for the Pokemon he was. I set down Anthony's helmet and stirred my magnet around. I took a breather and imagined a chorus of music being shattered, replaced by an urgent need to fight on with my remaining party. Energy flowed around and I felt a bit warmer than before. Strange considering how even the tower felt struck down by heat. I slammed my magnets together and shut my eye, brightness still searing into my pupil as a force of light propelled itself against Reshiram, striking his arm and causing him to stumble awkwardly. I shuddered at the thought of even hitting him, but I had to do it. No one was a god walking amongst us after all.

Rebecca practically dove into her notebook, taking notes that may or may not have been only coherent to herself, listing an overview of what he had to say. None of the details that were revealed particularly fazed her; it all sounded familiar to her, and even that was put aside for her own intrigue.

“So we can probably assume that this ‘HE’ is that weird thing that looks like a scrambled up monolith that we ran into earlier,” she said as she put the pieces together. “Right? And Arceus sealed it away a hundred years ago. Are you willing to share anything more about that? Maybe tell us somewhere safer than here? We’re sort of investigating this whole Mystery Dungeon phenomenon and it would be nice to get some good leads.”

Somehow, I could still see, but only just barely, as Celes, apparently angry at Reshiram for attacking and knocking out Spruce, attacked the legendary pokemon with her chains of light... however, even if it was supposed to be super-effective, and even if she was furious... the multiple chain attacks did... nothing. Reshiram roared, and blasted Celes with a giant beam of some sort, a hyper beam... I've only seen that move used once, before, and that was in a play... and was also fake. Seeing the real thing would have probably made me shiver, especially as used by a legendary of Reshiram's caliber. "FOOLISH INTRUDERS! YOU DO NOT KNOW THE POWER THAT YOU FACE, HERE!" Reshiram said as he roared, again... though, he seemed a little exhausted after that, which gave the Charizard and Salamence enough time to actually attack the thing, again, with a dragon claw, and a dragon pulse respectively... oddly enough, even these moves didn't seem to do much to Reshiram. "Why...? Why did it have to end like this...?" I managed to say through the pain, through the weakness. I probably wasn't helping matters much, but, then again, it really did look bleak. Our teammates were getting flung and knocked out like rattata, and we can't do a single thing to our opponent... worse, if he had hyper beam, that meant that we couldn't safely use our strategy, at least, not if Celes got knocked out, too. Sure, if we knew about it, and someone took the attack, and didn't get KO'd, we could have Miles take his hyper beams... but that was no longer an option.

[Nina]

We all continued forwards as the golurk seemed to be confused by everything around him. However, once everyone started talking, he seemed to snap out of that confusion. "Yes... somewhere safer would be nice, but I wouldn't suggest looking too far into this. It could lead to your death... or worse," That sort of warning was pretty common, and almost always wrong. If we stopped looking into this, and nobody else ever does, then HE, or IT might end up taking over, and nobody would know how to stop it, or even if it's possible. "And yes... he looks quite a bit like that... a strange, scrambled monolith. Please don't tell me you've encountered HIM before," I then piped up with "Yes, we did, and we lived to tell the tale. Teleportation is an amazing power, isn't it?" that seemed to make him more scared than impressed, and I had to wonder why. It's not like we actually got corrupted by that thing, as far as I can tell, we didn't even get hurt from it, but, that didn't matter, as the golurk seemed to fly into a rage, and shout "YOU ARE HIS AGENTS! I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN!" I then jumped back, and tried to say something, managing to say "Um... wait! I-if we were agents of his... then why the heck would we ask you about him, huh?" this seemed to thankfully calm him down before he attacked, and he answered with "I suppose that makes sense... an agent of his would not desire to, nor need to, learn about him... and they certainly wouldn't attack other, stronger agents, let alone question them afterwards," That was close... but why did he assume we were his agents? Does a simple attack from him corrupt? I suppose that would explain the weird... zombie... we saw earlier. I thought as we continued on, eventually coming to a gap that was high enough to lead to our deaths if we fell.

[Bonnie]

As soon as everyone was on the other side, I tried to answer Tini's simple question, but the client decided to do so for me "What's next!? You're supposed to be helping me find my lost love. He got lost, remember?" I then responded with "He... doesn't remember stuff for too long," the client sighed at that, and we moved on, making it past a strangely suspicious waterfall on our way. I could have sworn I saw a red tentacle in there, but, then again, a water type probably wouldn't have gotten this far up a mountain, where there's almost no water, at least, a water type that was reliant on the sea in some way wouldn't. I heard another roar, this time, thankfully, it was more quiet than the last one, and I could almost hear some speech in there "...AND THEY'LL TARGET MY CRYSTAL NEXT! I MUST PREPARE!" that confused the heck out of me... what crystal? Who would target him? Who was he, and why did he need to prepare? That roar raised too many questions, and I didn't feel like I should try to answer them, myself. The client seemed just as confused, as she just stared at me, and then Tini, almost as if asking if Tini could have made that roar. I shook my head, as his voice wasn't anywhere near as deep as... whoever that was... and we somehow seem to have made it to the top without too many more complications. I could see the lost nidorino talking to some random abra, and a strange altar. The client tried to head to her love, and the nidorino ran to her... but, another roar stopped them both in their tracks, and a giant green snakelike creature descended from the skies, and oddly slowly, too, given the thing's lack of wings. "YOU! You want my void crystal, don't you!? YOU WILL HAVE TO DESTROY ME BEFORE YOU CAN GET IT! I WILL NOT LET CRIMINAL SCUM LIKE YOU TAKE IT!" the snake, who I just figured out was rayquaza shouted at us before trying to attack me with a dragon claw! Thankfully, I was too quick for him, and I jumped out of the way of the attack.

Celes didn't see the attack coming, as it came to her full force, blasting her back and onto a wall, before she fell on the floor, seriously injured. She tried to stay awake.... she could not believe it... this could not end like this... this could not go and end like this for the group. He tried to get up, but failed, way too weak now to do anything. She could only watch in pain as Reshiram was attacking everyone. The group needed a miracle.... she hoped a miracle would happen... She really felt like this will only end badly.
"Spruce..." she said, crying a bit at all this.
"Everyone... please... someone.... someone save us..." she manage to say, her vision blurred right now slightly, but still holding.

Eralion continued to fallow the group ,looking around the place before hearing the roar. He frowned at this as he was on his guard from all this.
"Something is wrong..." he says as he moved... and then saw none other then rayquaza going to attack the group. He looked at him and heard what he said.
"You attack us when our goal is not even that crystal! We were here to go and find this pokemon to bring back to town! What is wrong with you, attacking us like that! A simple warning and we would have left with our client!" he says, getting counter ready right now and then. He looked at rayquaza.
"Why do you think we even want that crystal!" he says.

Kamina

How dare he...HOW DARE HE!!!! They had come here to ask Reshiram for his help. There was an entire village suffering in ice, a village that HE could save. Yet here they were; being attacked by this maniac. Kamina used to be a very angry fishy, back when he lived in the ocean. All that time spent being metaphorically stepped on by everyone kindled a blazing rage inside of him. However, like a fire, it's source of fuel was used up. He spent so much of his life angry, that whatever mental resource sustained that flames of rage burned up, leaving only empty apathy when it ran out. Oh sure, he still got mad from time to time...but that was akin to poking a dying campfire; it just stirred a few still surviving embers. But this...this changed things. In continuing with the fire metaphor; what Reshiram did was akin to a couple dozen fully grown redwood trees onto a dying fire, pour a few gallons of oil on top of that, and then hitting it with a Blast Burn for good measure. To put it bluntly; Kamina felt RAGE

"HOW DARE YOU HURT MY FRIENDS...MY FAMILY!" His mind was overflowing with so much raw fury, that he actually started shedding tears of pure anger "IF YOU WANT TO HURT THEM ANYMORE, THEN YOU'LL HAVE TO GO THROUGH MY DEAD BODY!!!" Kamina shot himself to the legendary, his body alight with the hottest flames he had ever made. As cheerful and friendly as he may be, Kamina was still a Gyarados; a species most famous for their anger.

---
Tini

"Wait...a crystal? I don't remember a crystal" Tini's next instinct was to ask his teammates about it...only to see them just as confused as he was. This certainly wasn't good news; if his teammates didn't know what was going on, then how would he? And then, like a rubber hammer; it hit him "...you're crazy! Now I understand. We already met some other crazy people here, so I'm guessing there might in the water that makes your brain go duhhhhhhhh. But don't worry; because I know just how to fix this!" Tini declared as he pulled out his trusty frying pan from...somewhere. Leaping at the attacking crazy person, Tini cried out unintelligible gibberish that made him sound just as crazy as his target.

Almost instantly, Josh's plan began to fall apart. Even with Matt's screens protecting her, all it took was a single Hyper Beam to knock Celes out. If Reshiram had Hyper Beam, that meant every single one of them was vulnerable. On top of that, their attacks seemed to be doing next to nothing. Josh was trying to stay optimistic, but if the fight kept going the way it was going now, it certainly wouldn't end well.
"Everyone just stay calm. We need to...um..." Josh was desperately trying to come up with a new plan, but he was out of ideas at this point. He launched a Sludge Bomb, hoping that it would be at least somewhat effective, but that seemed unlikely.

[Dexter]
The Golurk was extremely paranoid about this thing's agents, but eventually agreed to talk to them somewhere where they couldn't be overheard. Now that that was out of the way, they could keep searching for that lost Abra they were sent here to find. They kept going until they eventually ended up at a gap in the path, with an old, rotten plank of wood acting as a bridge between the two sides.
"There's no way in hell that board's gonna hold our weight." Dexter said. "Rebecca, we're gonna need you to teleport us across. Just try not to bring us to some random cave this time."

“Agents,” Rebecca mused quietly as she finished up her notes. “I wonder if someone would ever join that thing willingly?” She shut her book and let the rest of the team take point, eventually arriving at a vast chasm. An old, rotten plank of wood bridged the two sides together. She didn’t really understand why someone would bother to cut out a plank of wood just to use as a bridge, but whoever it was apparently never bothered to build a better bridge, let alone replace the obviously worn plank. She wasn’t sure if it could support even her meager fourteen and a half pound frame. She took a quick peek down the chasm before reeling away, preferring not to dwell on the image. Dexter suggested that she teleport the team across, which seemed like a fabulous idea in comparison to the alternative.

“Yeah, yeah...” Rebecca snapped back, at least happy that she wasn’t the only one who knew it was a good idea to keep Teleport, “It’s just a small gap. You might want to watch your footing once we’re across, though. I’m still not used to doing this with extra passengers.” She held on to the rest of the team and took a deep breath, counting to three and exhaling for the same amount of time as she focused on the other side of the chasm. Once she hit zero, she teleported the team across to the other side, with several feet of distance between them and the edge of the cliff.

“There we go!” The Ralts exclaimed, twirling happily and quickly shooting her fist up into the air, “Everyone’s ok, right?”

I have no idea how long I was out for, but... once I woke up, I heard something... "HOW DARE YOU HURT MY FRIENDS... MY FAMILY!" that was Kamina. I almost felt inspired enough to actually get up, and then he continued with "IF YOU WANT TO HURT THEM ANYMORE, THEN YOU'LL HAVE TO GO THROUGH MY DEAD BODY!!!" that's when I finally got back up, despite the fact that I was still in pain... somehow, it just didn't bother me, anymore. "You'll have to get through me, too," I managed to say to Reshiram, who, after stumbling backwards from Kamina's obviously powerful attack, looked at me, and seemed confused. "What!? How! You're supposed to be little more than ASHES at this point!" I just shrugged, and somehow I felt as if I was stronger... as if someone increased some sort of invisible stat, and I ran right up to him, somehow faster than usual, just to bash him in the face with a void whip, which... actually hurt him, for once! "NO! This shouldn't happen! That attack should be PITIFULLY WEAK!" He then roared, and he aimed another fusion flare at me, but, despite having just gotten up from getting knocked out from that... I still stood. "You shouldn't be able to survive that attack, let alone stay standing!" I didn't answer him, but that was mostly because I had no idea why all of this was happening, myself. That was just about when Anthony somehow got here, apparently, he somehow got back up, as well, despite him being just as bad off as I was... well, maybe not, given that his species was known for being able to take special attacks, but still, it was surprising.

[Anthony]

I still couldn't move... no matter what Kamina said, and even after Spruce got up, I was still just too badly hurt to do anything, however, I noticed Reshiram stumble backwards, and, not only that, but it seemed like Spruce's attack was actually hurting him, as well. So, he's not invincible... he's not powerful enough to kill us easily... he CAN be defeated... that thought was what seemed to bring me back to... wait, I don't have feet, but I regained my ability to move, and somehow, I felt better than ever. Reshiram started shouting about how all of this was impossible, and I tried not questioning it, as that might break whatever the heck just happened, and instead, I used dragonbreath on the formerly imposing legendary. It was still somewhat lackluster, but, as if by a stroke of luck, the attack seemed to paralyze Reshiram, somehow. He's done for, now... especially if everyone else can deal damage to him. I thought as the legendary tried to make his way over towards Matt, however, his paralysis seemed to prevent him from doing that. He simply roared, whether that was in pain form the attacks or paralysis, or just because he was frustrated, I'll never know, but, while he tried to attack, he couldn't. Something made his attack fail, and I knew exactly what it was. "How DARE you intruders... PARALYZE me!" Reshiram shouted at everyone in the group, but, nobody listened.

[Bonnie]

Tini seemed to have the brilliant idea of rushing at the giant snake, and bashing its head in with a frying pan. This would have worked SO much better if the thing wasn't about five times my size, and it only seemed to make him angrier. "TINY DRAGON! GET OFF OF MY HEAD, AND OBEY MY ORDERS!" Rayquaza roared as he tried to shake Tini off of his head. Eralion tried to wait for a chance to counter Rayquaza's attacks, but they never seemed to come, thanks to Tini distracting the thing. I then tried to think of something... jump kick would be useless, 'cause it can fly, dizzy punch might work, but I'm a little out of practice with that move, attract...? I had no idea which gender this thing was, and I wasn't about to check, so that was out of the question, which left me with two options. I could either try to confuse Rayquaza with dizzy punch, or try to do as much damage as I can with frustration, a move that I am VERY familiar with. I tried to weigh the pros and cons for each choice, but, since I couldn't come up with a solution, I decided to take a single pokécoin out of my bag, and I flicked it into the air, catching it, and thinking Okay, heads, I'll use dizzy punch, tails, I'll use frustration. before revealing that it landed on 'tails', where, instead of an engraved Mew face, it showed the more familiar 'P' symbol. With that, I decided to try my best to damage this thing with frustration, making sure to think about the horrors my father put me through as I did so. Somehow, this actually worked! It seemed to actually hurt the thing enough to at least make it take notice. It roared in pain from that, and I still had to wonder if Tini was on his face after all this.

[Nina]

Without hesitation, well, save for one, her actually focusing, we were teleported across the chasm, and the golurk just flew above us... somehow. "Wait, you can fly, and you didn't tell us!?" I said to the golurk, who responded with "Yes, and you never asked. I would have gladly helped you to the top of this mountain if you just asked," with an exasperated sigh, I asked "So... will you fly us to the top of the mountain?" he nodded in response, and flew us up, passing by a waterfall, and oddly few enemy pokémon. We also heard yet another roar... this mountain was getting really loud, but, as we got closer to the top of the place, I overheard some actual speaking "TINY DRAGON! GET OFF OF MY HEAD, AND OBEY MY ORDERS!" I... almost didn't want to know what was up ahead, but since I couldn't find the abra anywhere, as well as the fact that, if I recall, said abra was actually on the top of the mountain, anyways, according to our client, I suppose we HAD to head towards what now sounded like a fight. For some odd reason, the golurk wasn't too effected. "Hm... I wonder if we'll have to fight off a rogue dragon-type... whoever they are, they aren't following Rayquaza's orders. He's the leader of all the dragons, you know," I just shook my head at this. I knew at least a few dragon types, and I've never heard of Rayquaza. If this guy was controlling all of them, or was their king, or ruler, or whatever, surely they would have told me about that, right? Even so, why would he make his subjects attack us? We're just here to fix problems... and, not only that, but this entity clearly has control over this mountain, anyways. I decided not to tell him that this wasn't true anymore, for fear of having him go crazy, again, and just continued onward, towards the fight, which eventually came into view. A familiar trio was accompanied by a nidorina, nidorino, and an abra, all of whom tried to stay back, and seemed too scared to actually help. Given what they were fighting, a giant, green, flying snake... that seemed to be the appropriate response. I honestly didn't know whether we should fight, or stay back, so I asked my teammates "Uh, guys? What do you think? Should we help the other team, or should we just try to inch our way over to our client and hope that the snake doesn't notice us?"

Celes heard what Kamina said, and this actually inspired her... Inspired her to keep going. To not give up here. She slowly got back up, stronger then before. She looked at Reshiram.
"Hurting my friends, hurting everyone." she says as what seemed to be a very large light chain formed from her as she strikes Reshiram hard with this, actually hurting him with this.
"Enough... I will not let you go and hurt us! We will fight till the end! We will survive!" she says, new confidence in her. Why did she feel like that? She didn't know, but it felt really good right now. This was kinda like pure adrenaline had formed inside of her.

Eralion frowned at this. He wanted to take the hit.... but that didn't happen at all. Dang... He could have done so much damage from this. He moved quickly instead, weighting his options here. Counter would not work, brick break either.... he had the option of bullet punch or crunch here. Although bullet punch could be useful ,he instead jumped and then crunched onto the giant snake, trying to break his scales possibly and weaken his defense. This would be the best bet here to do the most damage. If he can break his scales and make everyone able to do more damage, it would be really nice.

Kamina

Well that was...invigorating. He had been running on pure adrenaline and rage when he did that, yet somehow it worked. 'Note to self; rage get's things done.' However, not only did that attack do something to the formally imposing legendary, but it also somehow got Spruce back up on his feet. Kamina had no idea how that happened, but he also didn't care. 'Now that I think about it; I'm not angry anymore, at all. I don't remember my rage ever just disappearing like that. Is that normal when you actually get revenge, because if is, then revenge is awesome! I feel a lot better!' His original plan had been to keep throwing himself at Reshiram and hope for the best. However that had all changed once the others started affecting him with their attacks...well, maybe not completely "FLAME CHARGE!"...or at all.

---
Tini

"No! I'll keep hitting you until the crazy is all out!" Tini cried as he smacked Rayquaza on the head with his frying pan again. "This place makes people crazy, and I will fix them all, even if I have to smack everyone in this cave with my frying pan, starting with you...whoever you are!" Another smack to the head with the Frying Pan of Ultimate Love and Justice and Cookies. "Feel it! Feel the craziness violently leaving your mind! By the power of my frying pan; be healed!" Yet another smack to the head with the Godly Frying Pan of Truth and Light and Cookies. "Hoo boy, this crazy is really stuck inside your head. Oh well, nothing that enough wacks won't fix." And thus; Tini continued to wack Rayquaza on the head with a frying pan.

Just when Josh was starting to lose hope, things began to turn around. Kamina's attack not only did a massive amount of damage to Reshiram, but also seemed to revive every single one of their knocked-out teammates. On top of that, Anthony had managed to paralyze him, and Spruce took a Fusion Flare like it was nothing. Seeing that Reshiram was significantly weaker now, Josh tried launching a Sludge Bomb at him, and surprisingly, it actually seemed to do some damage. He wasn't sure if Reshiram had been weakened, or if they'd all just gotten stronger, but either way, this sudden change meant that, unlike before, they had a chance at winning this fight. If they all kept at it, they should have no problem taking him down.

[Dexter]
There was a fight going on at the top of the mountain, between a legendary Pokemon, apparently called "Rayquaza", and that team from the other guild. There were a few bystanders, too, one of which was their client. Nina seemed to have trouble deciding what they should do; get the client, or help the other team. For Dexter, the answer was simple.
"Screw the other team, alright?" He said. "They're the ones that were stupid enough to pick a fight with that thing. Let's just get the client and get the hell out."

Rebecca was pretty surprised to learn that the Golurk could fly. She supposed it was technically a ghost, but she never really thought of it that way until just then. Nevertheless, it was a welcome change of pace for her. The mountains and the lands below were actually quite beautiful to her now that she had time to look. And now that she had time to look, she noticed the great dragon, Rayquaza, even if it looked less than dignified at the moment.

Whereas many Pokemon today didn’t seem to know much about so-called “legendary” Pokemon, but one with a privileged background like Rebecca’s would have at least some degree of knowledge: To her, Rayquaza was most often a character in her mother’s fairy tales, sometimes a warning not to journey out alone. The dragon also made the odd appearance in the records of the royal library, the historicity of which was often taken with a grain of salt. It was the kind of thing that went nicely on a family’s crest, or an army’s banner or helm, in the hopes of improving the impression of one’s stature. She never actually expected to see Rayquaza, let alone come across a fight with one. She wagered that they might have a slightly better chance of winning against it than the monolith creature, but it still wasn’t enough to make her eager to fight the thing.

“As much as I hate to say it,” Rebecca decided, “I agree with Dexter. Considering I don’t even know who we’re supposed to help out, there’s a lot we don’t know about what’s going on over there, and there’s a lot of ways that this could go wrong. For now, let’s just help the one we came here to find in the first place. We’ll come back later if we need to, okay?”

Well, that didn't even hurt for one.

I thought I was dead. I couldn't quite feel the attack or even see what was coming, but I definitely took it straight. It hit me so hard that I felt the heat escaping behind me, while darkness enclosed on my peripherals and vision. Every single sense was knocked out of me, except for my hearing; lots of ringing and tinnitus.

However, what seemed to be distant tones turned into a frantic orchestra in my head. I steadily rose against overwhelming weakness in my body, wiping off metal shavings and rust from the attack. The various pieces in my head gained clarity, and it turned out to be Kamina's own voice as he struck against Reshiram.

Unbelievably, Reshiram flinched. Now we just need to know if it bleeds; then we can kill it. A paraphrased quote from Davis came to mind, especially when I witnessed the new force from my own team. The Charizard and Salamence we freed earlier couldn't really believe their eyes either, and I wouldn't be surprised if other Pokemon in the tower came up just to watch. Half a dozen attacks stumped Reshiram's own ego and almost bought him pleading, evident in his eyes as they turned to fear rather than that of a god.

At that point, it was the perfect importunity to fight. I traded away fatigue and pain in my magnets for a sense of motivation, thinking of just what to hit Reshiram with. Every attack seemed like a light show, and I didn't have much time to think of anything. I did however feel a sense of foreboding and dread as soon as I clamped my magnets together, as well as a dark mist that somehow seemed to cool the ridiculous temperature of the place.

Reshiram was still busy trying to wave away attacks and boast against absurdity, but a thunderclap seemed to deafen even that. I couldn't think of anything but lightning and electricity - which somehow put me on the other side of the arena we were fighting in. I looked back to see a cohort of lightning balls and thunder crackles (which I couldn't even see properly, given they were somehow black and giving off light) that followed me in a straight line, while also surging through Reshiram painfully. Seems like this'll come to a close soon. I thought, as I let the heat catch up to me.

CRAAAAAAASH! I could have sworn Reshiram was going to say something, but, someone, or something just produced lightning and thunder loud enough to temporarily mute the booming voice that the legendary pokemon had. A quick glance once everything settled revealed the culprit to be Miles, who looked... well, pretty much the same as he always did, honestly. He seemed more motivated, somehow, and, oddly, so did I. "H-HOW IS THIS HAPPENING!?" Reshiram shouted at the top of his lungs once we could hear, again, and he tried to use Fusion Flare on me, once more... and just like last time, it didn't seem to do much. Sure, it hurt, but I could easily take a hundred of them, I felt. Celes said something about fighting until the end, and Reshiram seemed oddly scared, now... the tables truly have turned. It was odd seeing a legendary afraid of some common pokemon... pokemon that the legendary would normally just swat away without a second thought, and yet, here I was, witnessing this usually mighty creature experience fear... I used another void whip, knocking Reshiram into a pillar, a chunk of which somehow fell on Anthony's head, or, at least, his helmet, which at first, seemed to knock him out. Anthony got back up, and started barking orders, apparently, he, in his own words, was something called a 'general' now, whatever pokemon that was. What was really odd was Reshiram's reaction... "You have no rank here, General, can't you see? The world has changed, now, General," You have no rank here? The world has changed, now? Was it ever different from what it is, now? Is he talking about the mystery dungeons, or something even more mysterious? I thought as Reshiram argued with Anthony, who somehow pulled off five dragon breath attacks in a row!

[Anthony]

I became blind and deaf for a short moment before Reshiram shouted something, and a chunk of rock fell on my helmet... I felt REALLY weird after that, and I started shouting almost random things, such as "WHOSE FLASHBANG WAS THAT!? ARE YOU TRYING TO GET US ALL KILLED?" as well as "C'mon, troops, we got the enemy cornered, now we just gotta tie him down!" I wasn't sure if I was motivating them or not, but, for the first time, I could HEAR what I was babbling about while I was in that alternate state of mind. "Huh!? HEY! I'm the only general around here, ya grey bastard! Go command your own troops!" I shouted at Vine in this state. He didn't seem to understand, but, then again, neither did I... what was strange was the fact that Reshiram, of all pokemon, understood, and he even gave a rebuttal "You have no rank here, General, can't you see? The world has changed, now, General," after which, I mostly returned to normal, and used that strange power I seemed to get after all that... weird crazy-talk to power everyone up, and immediately afterwards, I used dragon breath... and somehow, with that power active, I used it five times in a row, dealing significant damage to Reshiram, who I just noticed was actually afraid of us, now. Daniel got back up at this point, and he tried a shadow rush attack on Reshiram, yet, somehow, even with all this motivation, even with all this extra power, that STILL did nothing. Is Reshiram somehow immune to shadow attacks? CAN a pokemon be immune to those? I thought as Daniel noticed the fact that his attack did nothing, and retreated back to me... the charizard and salamence that brought us here finally joined in, attacking Reshiram with two dragon claw attacks each.

[Bonnie]

Tini absolutely refused to get off of Rayquaza's head, and he continued to hit the giant green dragon snake with his frying pan while I tried to explain "We're really not here for the crystal, we're just trying to finish a mission, alright!?" of course, Rayquaza wasn't buying this, and he finally tried to attack... Eralion? Yes, for some reason, he tried to attack Eralion with a Sky Drop, flinging Eralion, and himself into the air... and, of course, doing the same to Tini, just because Tini was still somehow on his head, and still attacking. I couldn't hit the thing while it was in the air, but, as soon as he did that, I overheard someone familiar "Alright, now's our chance, let's get outta here!" That was that nidoran, and her group... how can that psychic type stand being around me? Heck, she's even a ralts! Those things are supposed to be extra sensitive to that stuff, aren't they? I thought as I tried to formulate some sort of plan... maybe we could make it out of here without actually fighting Rayquaza... if only I had the right seeds... I looked around in my bag, and noticed two very old seeds... yeesh, I had no idea what they were before, but I could smell it from here... they were X-eye seeds now. Wait... that was it! That was our way outta this place! Now... I just had to wait for Eralion to land... "Hang in there, Eralion! I got a plan to get us out of here! Tini, get off of Rayquaza as soon as he lands, alright? We're going to make a beeline for our client!" I shouted to my team, hoping that at least one of them heard that. Just after that, I saw a few pokemon teleport away... I guess the others finished their mission up here.

[Nina]

It seemed like everyone was in agreement... we weren't going to help the fellow explorers against the legendary. Fair enough, I suppose... it's not like we'd be a match for that thing, anyways, at best we'd provide a temporary distraction... I thought as I tried my best to sneak past everyone. "We're really not here for the crystal, we're just trying to finish a mission, alright!?" the lopunny shouted at the legendary... who obviously didn't care, and decided to take her pangoro friend into the sky with himself... which meant that he wouldn't be able to do anything if he saw us, right now! "Alright, now's our chance, let's get outta here!" I shouted to my teammates as I ran right for our client, the abra... but, as soon as I got there, a team consisting of a snivy, a bulbasaur, and a mudkip appeared out of what seemed to be thin air, and teleported away with the client. I was shocked... did someone just STEAL A MISSION FROM US!? Thankfully, we could still teleport back using the badges, and I did exactly that... even if it meant that most of my items somehow miraculously disappeared. Once I, and the rest of the team, were back at the guild, I finally spoke "Is... is that legal? Is that... ugh! Those must have been the same jerks that were spying on us from the bushes! You remember, right?" I was looking at rebecca when I said this, but I guessed either of the two could give a response, and, either way, I continue on. "Those jerks... they waited for us to stumble, or, I dunno, they went on ahead after catching wind of our mission while we were taking a break, and... AGH... that's just..." I couldn't really form a decent sentence after that, and grumbled all the way to the team's room... which had an envelope in the middle of it.

Celes was more confident now, seeing the whole group going up to attack Reshiram now, wanting to go and stop him.... wanting to make him see the truth in all this... Ironic cause of how reshiram always wanted the truth.
"You have been corrupted! You will not hurt anyone else now!" she then says, before going and striking Reshiram with not 1, but 4 times her light chains attack, striking him hard with this.
"You have lost your way in search of the truth! We will stop at nothing to make you see your wrongdoing!" she then says with her new confidence, keeping the attack sgoing.

Eralion was suddenly flung in the air, frowning at this, trying his best to hold on, trying to actually kick Requaza as he was flung up in the air, but could not do much else. Soon enough, he heard what Bonnie said as he then was flung on the groud. He groan in pain as he then move quickly towards the client.
"Let us get out here now! Go go go!" he then says, mad right now. That move really hurted him, but at least he was still standing right now
