Jasper had skidded to a stop right next to Isei, not even noticing the human for a moment as she eyed what was left of the Koopas and Goombas dense enough to come here, not to mention the incoming Paragoombas and Paratroopas. Those were heading towards Roland and York, who looked to be the least competent in combat of anyone here, though a few were heading towards her location for coverage's sake. She was focused in on them, ready to crush until Isei spoke.

She paused, angry eyes turning on the human. At least it wasn't one of this world's inhabitants that tried to give her this lecture (at least she was sure it wasn't one of this world's inhabitants), but indignation still shone in her face. The descending opponents were briefly forgotten from her mind.

"If you know as much about fighting as you say you do, you'll get your hands off of me," she said, eyes narrowing "and fighting is what I was made for, so whatever a human like you knows, I-" Jasper couldn't finish her thought, on account of forgetting a rather cardinal rule when it came to combat. Never take your eyes off of whoever or whatever you're fighting. The Paratroopas had seen fit to take advantage of this, withdrawing into their shells and charging at her like homing missile, beaning the gem warrior in the back of the head. Overzealous, they rounded and started heading for Isei too, looking to get two in one shot.

"Huh. There's something you don't see everyday." Remarked York calmly as he noted Ken's transformation. The tail was honestly the strangest part to him, but even then York wasn't that phased. Humans had natural tails in the womb that disappeared over time, and turtles were considered delicacies in some parts of the world. He never did bother asking Ken if he could remember where he was from, perhaps it was one of those places.

It was at that point the Paratroopas attacked. Moving deftly as flies, the winged enemies buzzed around York and Roland, and though York managed the occasional lucky shot, his expert marksmanship was failing him, largely due to the fact that every time he had a decent shot lined up something bumped into him to throw him off. He grunted and groaned, his mind whirling to come up with a solution.

One didn't take one to come to him, as his eyes returned to Ken, still munching on some nearby, screaming turtles. He elbowed Roland's side and nodded towards Ken and then the Paratroopas attacking them. Perhaps Ken could do with a light snack. Slowly, York started leading the Paratroopas over to Ken, still shooting at them to give the illusion of trying.

Kieri watched as another aura started to coat Ainz's body, this time also getting a hold of hers. She shivered, feeling its power first hand, and reminding her why she was so intimidated by the skeletal man in the first place. When the aura faded, she had expected another beast of burden to appear and start chasing the ship, leading to her confusion when nothing appeared to be happening.

"What..." Was all she had time to say before the black hole appeared. The largest battleship, having led the pack, was furthest away from the hole and was able to get away rather easily. The other two ships weren't so lucky, and Kieri watched slack jawed as they were sucked in, any screaming that had come from the ships quickly silenced as they were crushed under the black hole's immense pressure.

It took a moment for Kieri to speak after that, and none of the Koopas or Goombas, Para or otherwise, saw themselves fit to approach Ainz after that display of power. They took their chances on things they could possibly beat. "Who...Who are y-you?" Kieri asked after a moment, still staring at the black hole in the air where the ships once were.

Did his ears deceive him? Among the carnage that was occurring due to the territorial dispute of dragons, or rather the actual answer of a strange aerial bombardment, was there a plea from the helpless? As his horse bucked upwards with a bit of shock from the continued sound of exploding debris and new cannonballs being fired from still functional cannons, Sir Eglamour of Artois motioned his steed to turn away from the dragon's volatile release of kidney stones towards the source of the plea.

It came from of the fairies he spied earlier. It appeared the female fairy was desperately trying to free one of its kin from the wreckage of this dispute. While indeed, many fairy creatures were typically foul and nasty vermin, Sir Eglamour of Artois could not just idle on while these things were helpless. He applied the pressure towards his horse as it began charging towards the downed serf housing of the fairies.

While heading towards them he noticed other fungal sprites, these ones full consumed leaving nothing but tiny feet to waddle on, of the forest carrying the still shelled eggs of the defeated dragon, heading the very same way.

The knight may have not known the complexities of airship travel, nor about how these devices worked, or how they were crewed by the Koopas and Goombahs. But what the knight did know was that even baby dragons were wicked creatures, and if left to grow would be even more dangerous threats. So he struck at the shelled Koopas with his lance.

As he arrived at the house he quickly returned his shield upon his back and his lance in the holster which was on his steed. Dismounting, Sir Eglamour approached the rubble and began to heave it off of the male toad. Once enough rubble was removed Sir Eglamour pulled out the unconcious toad and placed him near the female.

"Hark!" The knight addressed her. "Enfourmenest me wher thine contre-folks assemblinge fer sikernesse. I wille shelden you from the dragouns an helpen thee scapen."

Before Mizn could ask York to elaborate on what he meant the human jumped through the archway. Taking the moment to observe the portal in the archway. 'It appears to a stable wormhole,' Mizn observe before he decided to enter the portal. Emerging onto the other side the automaton hard time understanding what it had ended up. A group of strange individual fighting the equally strange group of aliens. What reality stood out was the black hole sucking in floating wooden ships. "I have to ask how is that black hole haven't destroyed this place?"It ask staring at black hole.

Roland heard the words of wisdom imparted unto him through his new friend. Aim at the turtles and brown 'things.' Simple.

Snapping out of what had been a rare lapse in decisiveness for the gunslinger, Roland took action. It was like a whole different human had taken control of that body. His eyes scanned the field for the encroachers and found a number of these turtles with wings approaching them and beginning to circle them. They would have no opportunity to attack. Hammers struck powder and primer as smoke left the barrels of those emblazoned silver guns Roland had. The timing seemed so perfect that it was just before inhuman. Roland pulled the trigger as his muscle memory pointed each hand to exactly the spot it needed to be in order to shoot down a paratroopa. Seven shots fired within moments of the cowboy's relapse to reality and along with them seven kills. The troopers fell upon the ground, heads burst open or holes ripped through torso and shell. An ugly sight to see truly.

Before he could continue his onslaught, a most disturbing event occurred right behind his left shoulder. Ken, who had decided to come after all, seemed to be undergoing a demonic transition. From his back appeared an alien and evil tentacle, complete with rigid barbing and other pain inflicting edge. A terrible air came about Ken for as soon as the tentacle appeared, the boy appeared to enter a rage induced trance. He focused only upon the turtles which he cruelly killed and devoured. This did not stop Roland from firing and killing, but it did cause him to make a mental note of it. Five more shots occurred during this time period and five more paratroopas hit the ground.

The gunslinger's revolvers smoked as they were emptied and dropped to mid-chest height for dual reloading. The act itself took but a few seconds, as Roland's hands swung the revolving cartridges out and dumped all the smoking used up ammunition on the ground. Taking brief turns, each of the gunslinger's forefingers and thumbs moved with a pace as bullets were reloaded into the six corresponding holes in each cartridge. With a loud click reverberating two of the same action as one, the guns were reloaded and brought back to parallel; each gun pointed outwards towards a potential enemy. There was a brief respite in the action, so Roland was able to take quick notes on the situation and what surrounded them. In front of him was a dark armored, seemingly robotic, clad man with a red magic/energy (Roland could not know at this point) saber. His aura was ominous. A considerable distance away was a bright orange figure and a man perhaps, probably out fighting the same targets he was. He could not tell much more about them from where he was standing. Both of the men who were with him earlier had come through right behind him, and closer to them was a skeletal man with a small creature nesting on his shoulder. Roland observed some of the action that one took. 'Magic.' he immediately noted. This man would be worth questioning later. As more goombas and troopers appeared, so did Roland fire bullets with ranger like accuracy. Barely missing a shot, Roland continued standing in what was an unusually safe vantage point; they were completely surrounded by strangers with various powers and backgrounds.

"Oohohohoho, rookie mistake missy", Isei chortled with clear enjoyment as the overbearing she-beast got socked on the back of the head for her troubles. As far as he could tell, that blow would do little but enrage...whatever or whoever this was, but there was a lesson for her to learn here if she cared to do so. Noticing the goombas coming back around looking to score two strikes in one go, Isei pushed off the ground with his hand and effortlessly launched himself into the air, floating light as a feather as he bounded over the gem's head before landing on his feet behind her and putting Jasper in the path of the attackers once more.

"The best tool can be quite useless if mishandled and physical gifts can be wasted on poor technique", he continued unabated, ready to shuffle back and defend himself while waiting to see how Jasper would handle the situation. And then, of course, he took stock of the spell Ainz had cast, the magical vortex swallowing airships whole. Mages were such a pain in the ass, rarely any control or sense of appropiate response. He pointed upwards, perhaps rather pointlessly considering Jasper was not currently looking at him. "You think yourself powerful? What do you think of that, then? Could you match such a thing?".

When Sir Eglamour first appeared, Dee T. thought she was looking at a monster. Nothing that size could be anything but, not helped at all by the fact that he rode horseback, making him look even larger. She wasn't sure what she should be fearing more-the incoming troops of Bowser's army, or the leviathan on horseback who rode towards her postion.

She got her answer rather soon. "What the-?!" Was all one Goomba had time to say before Eglamour's lance jabs sent him spiraling out of control, crashing into some nearby rubble. He was the most talkative of the bunch, and soon they were dispatched in short order. Dee T. still eyed her savior with caution, though it did drop somewhat upon hearing his voice. It was, despite the outdated language and the intensity of the situation, smooth as butter.

Knowing she hadn't the time to process her savior any further, she merely accepted his help in removing the rubble from her brother Dane T.'s unconscious form, hiking him up on her back as she glanced around. The town still crawled with Goombas and Koopas, though the number had clearly been whittled down. Even if some of what was left was bearing down on them. For a moment, Dee T. thought. 'This guy...Maybe this guy could help us.' She thought hopefully. While other Toads seemed to be fleeing to the forest for safety, Dee T.'s eyes darted about and settled upon the local shop, which outside of a hole in the roof looked just fine.

"There!" She said, pointing at the shop and trying to make sure her brother didn't fall on to the cobblestone ground below at the same time "Take me there, please! I can only give you my sincerest gratitude in return, but if you cannot take me...Thank you for what you've already done."

@Blight Bug
----------------------------

As Harvey conversed with Haruki, the guard surrounding them came back to the lake Haruki had been fishing at not long before. Several of the Koopas slipped into the water, shells up, and waited. The head Koopa turned back to his 'guests', briefly wondering if this would work with someone as big as Haruki.

"So...I'm sure you probably know this by now fisherman, but the fish in this lake aren't exactly friendly," he explained rubbing the back of his head "for your own safety, we're gonna need you to ride on our backs, alright?" The lake was more long than wide, but it still looked to be a good fifty to sixty good feet from shore to shore.

@Scrapula @clanjos

---------------------------------

Jasper had easily recovered by the time Isei had jumped behind her, and while her frustration was mounting with this strange little man, the Goombas were making their rounds again. She felt like venting some stress. Helmet shining in the sun, she reared back and started squashing the brown mushroom esque creatures into a fine paste, sometimes headbutting them more than was absolutely necessary (i.e. once), but damn did it feel good to let loose like that. She looked over her shoulder at Isei, the smirk that had adorned her face fading as she realized the human wasn't even paying attention. She turned her attention to what he saw and...

Jasper blinked a few times. Maybe this was Blue Diamond's way of bringing her back to Homeworld. She couldn't think of anything other than a Diamond that could produce that kind of power, and she watched in awe as the enemy ships were crushed in mid air, only one escaping with noticeable wounds. She tensed at Isei's question, whirling around and snarling.

"Are you dense? Of course not," Jasper answered honestly "only a Diamond is capable of that kind of power. If a quartz soldier like me got a hold of that kind of power, it'd bring chaos and rebellion to Homeworld." 'Again' Jasper kept that last part to herself. If this human really was unaware of the glory that was Homeworld, she didn't particularly feel like giving out a history lesson to him. That was that traitorous Peridot's job anyway.

The answer the knight sought for was delivered quickly by Dee T, albeit in a rather strange dialect. At least these creatures could speak in the tongue of man. As she frantically answered Sir Eglamour took note of the building that was designated as a safe location.

Sir Eglamour proceeded to pick up Dee T, and by extension Dane T, and situated them on the back of his steed. After securing them onto the horse, the knight promptly got on his steed. Sir Eglamour gave a quick word of advice, "Holdenest fixe faerie girle!"

With that said, Sir Eglamour of Artois' steed rode onward towards the shop.

Those wooden airships were futile against the power of the dark side of the force as the bombs managed to severely damage a portion of the fleet. Vader's superiority in the force has rewarded him well. Yet at the same time, a more high-tech ship came rushing out of the blue, completely annihilating an airship as it zoomed by. Vader glanced at the ship for a second as he watched it zoom around the fleet. If he can grab ahold of that ship, he might find a way to get himself out of this dimension and back to his universe where he belongs. But at this point, he shouldn't bother. The ship was flying too fast and was simply was too far for him to grab with the force.

Soon, the fleet began to issue a hasty retreat, only after opening their hulls filled with flying turtles coming straight towards the group. As the goombas and koopas began rushing towards the group, Lord Vader ignites his lightsaber as he slashed through any that got in his way. Yet more people came from the portals, also firing upon the invaders as the paratroopers finally made their decent upon the "heroes" Vader simply stood still as he issues a powerful force push that stunned a good portion of the koopas and sent them plummeting to the ground. Any that managed to survive were instantly slain by the Dark Lord's lightsaber, decapitating their heads and dismembering their wings and appendages. He looks to his right, seeing the orange girl he forced pushed out of the way fighting them as well, but struggling so it seemed. He didn't care much of it though as he squashes a goomba under his boot and continues to slaughter the minions that came their way... showing no mercy... no remorse... and his hatred ever so rising.

"All too easy..." he thinks to himself.

Samus was able to get a direct fire upon one of the ships as she entered the battlefield, bursting into flames as debris fell to the ground. Even as they were retreating, her gunship would severely damage or even destroy a few number of ships before they managed to deploy the Koopa Paratroopers. But as the bounty hunter prepares to face them once more, her scanners alert her to something else that came out of one of the airship's hull. And it was heading straight towards her...

Quickly, Samus quickly tries to identify the threat and begins preparing any evasive maneuvers to get her ship out of harms way and destroy the thing coming towards her.

Morton knew he would have to work fast for this. His fleet was disintegrating around him, with only his flagship still flying and limping back to the stronghold of the castle, and his foot soldiers weren't doing much better. Whatever mercenaries these Toads had hired (and he assumed they were mercenaries), they were something else. Freakishly strong, nearly every single one of them. He would probably take care of them personally down the line, but for now this came first.

Morton also knew that Ludvig was probably going to give him hell over losing as many ships as he did on a simple bombing run. Bringing back something that had singlehandedly destroyed one of his ships though...Well, that would certainly make up for it. The Koopaling pursued Samus' gunship, giving the black hole a wide berth as he closed in on it. The chase was going to push his clown car to the limit, but his mind was made up now. He wanted his new battleships to be as good as that one, and as boring as it was, Morton knew he'd had to capture it in one piece to do it.

Morton reached into the confines of his clown car, clutching his ruby red wand. He wished he had opted for a color like brown or grey instead, but he couldn't deny the tool's effective nature. Giving his car a few gentle taps with the wand, Morton was able to not only keep up, but catch up with Samus' ship. What needed to happen next involved Morton's biggest positive-brute strength.

Samus would only have moments to react before she saw Morton fly over her on her radar. She'd have less time to react when she heard a thunk noise on her ship's roof, followed by the unmistakeable noise of an explosion. Morton had ejected himself from the clown car, activating it's self destruct mechanism as he popped out. He shielded his eyes as the explosion occurred, his tough Koopa hide preventing the explosion or resulting shrapnel from doing any true damage. He was able to hold on to the ship with only one hand, his obsidian black hammer clenched in the other. Crawling up the ship, he swung his hammer at the green visor of it. Morton could see one of two possibilities for this-either he'd smash the glass and yank whoever was piloting this thing out of its own ship and send them hurtling to the ground, or the explosion already knocked out the glass and his hammer would knock out the pilot. Still, he supposed he could be surprised, but there wasn't any turning back now.

@Lmpkio
-----------------------------

Dee T. gasped in surprise as Sir Eglamour pulled her and Dane T. up on to his horse, finding her short stubby legs just a bit too narrow to be able to fit on to it so easily as he did. Still, she made the best of it, gripping on to her brother with one hand and gripping the saddle with the other. Several Koopas and Goombas had closed in, but before they could attack Sir Eglamour had hopped on to his steed and started heading off.

What happened during that short ride to the shop dispelled any doubt in Dee T.'s mind that Sir Eglamour could help them. As he charged towards the shop, any Koopa who tried to undercut his horse ended up getting kicked away for their trouble, bouncing about like a hockey puck for a few minutes before stopping to get taken out for one reason or another. The ride seemed to happen in slow motion to her, and she was pretty sure she didn't blink once during it. She didn't want to miss a single moment.

Soon, they reached the shop, at which point Dee T. grabbed on to Dane T. and dismounted, albeit rather clumsily. Assuming that Sir Eglamour would follow her inside, she rushed inside the slightly broken down shop, what was left of its wares strewn about messily and several portions of the roof looking as if they threatened to collapse. Dee T. didn't particularly care about that though. What she was looking for was on the floor after all.

"Where...Here!" She shouted gleefully as she found a few planks of wood that looked off from the straight pattern the rest was set in. Rather, it looked more like an octagon. She pressed two hidden switches on the ground with her feet, and what sounded like a pair of suction cups coming apart filled the air. Setting her brother down, Dee T. crouched down and grabbed a small crease in the floor, lifting up. Soon, the octagon was pushed away, revealing a hidden tunnel in the ground with a ladder leading downwards. She panted a bit from the effort, going to pick her brother back up before pausing, turning back to Sir Eglamour.

"Thank you again," She said kindly, clearing her throat awkwardly "if it weren't for you, I'm sure my brother and I would be dead by now. But...I'm afraid I must ask you for more. What you saw out there is merely a portion of a massive army that threatens me, this town, everyone I care about...And we need help. The hero who we once turned to has vanished, and although you have only arrived today, I can see no other hero amongst us besides you. Will you help us?"

But before Samus could get a proper reading on who was chasing her, her scans indicate a number countdown at an incredibly fast rate. Whatever was coming at her gunship had some sort of incredibly fast projectile or ship to catch up with her. And before she could issue any protocols, the object, now identified as a tiny fighter vehicle was already on top of her. The next thing she knew, an explosion rocked the entire ship as the ship stuttered in mid-flight before regaining back some altitude. That ship must've went on a kamikaze run to blast her from the sky! Or at the very least it was a remote controlled rocket, large enough to be classified as a ship? What was worse, the blast managed to damage her engines, which was unfortunate since her shielding was in a recharge stage and was on low power mode, having only a minimal amount of shielding.

Regardless, she'll have to fix it later, as suddenly her ship's cockpit visor cracked due to blunt force from a hammer! The ship wasn't a drone after all. The pilot must've indeed ejected from his ship before it exploded, while also having survived the blast somehow. Samus then sees the figure of Morton as he goes in for another crack at the screen. The bounty hunter needs to make an emergency landing, but not until issuing evasive maneuvers. Clenching to her seat, she then issues an aileron roll as her ship spins around several times in rapid succession. She hopes that the creature can loose his grip and ultimately fall off the gunship. And if that didn't work, she'll need to issue a crash landing down at the Mushroom Plains below, just outside Toad Town, and exterminate it by her own gun barrel.

Ainz

Ainz carefully watched the two ships being destroyed, he waited for a few more moments before he dispelled the Black Hole, as not to cause any more damage. He watched everyone else battle it out. "I am Ainz Ooal Gown. Leader of Nazarick." He answered Kieri's questioned, even if it was merely a whisper.

That little spell had taken more than he wanted to, a fifth of his Mana? He wasn't to sure of it, but remained on the side lines. Ainz watched as Vader continued his path of slaughter, and was glad that he wasn't on the other end of the light saber.

Ken

Ken was in a blind hunger, tearing apart the turtles that tried to run from him, using the extra appendage to slice at any threat that came his way; foe or friend. It didn't matter to him. Rize's Kagune thirst for blood shed, pushing him to slaughter more, to eat more of them. And he listened to the inner voice deep within.

He ignored everything else of what's going on. He ignored York and Roland, but the sound of hooves caught his attention. Even though that the Knight and his horse was rather far, Ken launched himself towards the new sound, using his tail to cut away any attack from behind.

As Sir Eglamour of Artois rode his steed towards the shop a brief thought entered his mind; why did those brown fairies consumed by the fungi serve those baby dragons instead of the other fairies that weren't fully consumed by their mushrooms. Of course that led to an even more important thought, just how many baby dragons were there? What sort of broodmother produced all those eggs? And of course a particular thought lingered in his mind, what was the way back from this otherworld. Surely the faeries he saved had to have some knowledge for this.

Upon reaching the potential sanctuary of the Toads, the knight dismounted and had a peep around the building. "Nought a post with-inne sighte." Sir Eglamour mused aloud. Hou-ever it shulen be acceptable fer now. The knight thought as bent down and partially entered the shop. He kept a steady position near the entrance. Sir Eglamour briefly examined the contents of the building and the damage that had happened within it, while Dee T was apparently searching for something. After her eager declaration, there was a rather loud and odd popping sound.

What expression was underneath the knight's helmet was a mystery, well to those who weren't Sir Eglamour. However it seemed the result of that was something that was actually conventional, an escape chasm. The only thing that was somewhat off about this one was that it was not underneath any castle. But it was quite possible this is where it led to. Or perhaps the castle was destroyed from some manner of siege long ago. But whatever the origin of this tunnel was, it did not matter right now.

What currently mattered was what the fairy girl spoke of. Apparently a tragedy had befallen upon the Kingdom of Toads, with their champion of the realm missing when brood of dragons and other sprites were attacking them. Sir Eglamour extended out his right arm and held up his palm, "Be nought douten."

He returned his arm back towards his side. "Plainlie nemnenest wher their Brodmater be, and informacioun thouwishen." The knight paused for a moment before going on, "Abidenest undernethen in the sille an bidenest fer my apperen ayen."

In a strange world, it's best to have friends to count on. Haruki learned that on Earth when Nakuri found him, alone and destitute. It wasn't something they really taught to children on Valky. But now, he wasn't even on Earth. He didn't think Harvey was in Olathe either. Or, if it was some kind of fishman planet like Booze, Keel, or Tepeto, ON it. Regardless, it'd do them both good to stick together- especially if some slip of etiquette lead to these turtles turning on them. Haruki gave a thumbs up to the lawyer and nodded, whispering back.

"It's me and you against the world, Harvey!"

Unphased at the modest lake, Haruki began tying his gear together and jumped in. A former fisherman wasn't afraid of swimming a few times his own body length- especially not in waters this clear.

"I got nothing to worry about! I was swimming in monster-infested oceans before I could walk!"

Harvey gave his new Koopa friend an incredulous look. They didn't have any boats handy? Were the Hernandezes the only people in this country that owned anything more practical than a tricycle? Fardy and Lardy had their trucks, Shardy and Tardy had their boats, and everyone else made do with handcarts and satchels. Aside from those numbskulls at the construction site, Harvey had never seen a functioning motor vehicle that wasn't owned by a Hernandez. The fact that this rule was enforced even here was shocking.

Haruki, however, seemed fairly confident about this whole ordeal. Harvey shrugged, and confidently reached for Haruki's shoulder. Failing that, he gave Haruki a confident pat on the back.
"If he's okay with it, I'm okay with it. How bad can a bunch of dumb fish be?"

"Hah, and you say you were born to fight! To me you seem more like a child, abusing those weaker than you and cowering before your elders!" Isei practically barked as he wagged his finger at Jasper and circled around the gem to examine her handiwork. Excessive force, unnecessarily smashing the creatures into a paste when a lone blow would've sufficed, anger and frustration that had no place in the exercise of the arts. Those were the things he saw. He shook his head, obviously thinking little of the show of power. "And if an enemy with that power appears before you? Do you cry and call for your superiors?".

Seeing Jasper brutalizing their compatriots, many of the koopa and goomba decided to give her a wide berth. Of course this'd mostly just lead them towards Vader, Ken and the rest, so perhaps a retreat would be in their best interest. Still, some more dedicated or foolhardy than the rest continued to approach the martial master and the yellow alien. As they closed in, Isei took a deep breath, seemingly in dissapointment at Jasper. "Do you accept death? Or do you crush them with your fist!" he snapped, and as he exhaled he turned and took a step forward, stamping his foot hard and thrusting his right hand towards the incoming flying foes.

This quick and simple motion, nothing but a stepping punch truth be told, created a double detonation as Isei's foot carved a crater on the town's tiled streets and his clenched fist burst through the air with a booming sound as though a massive whip had just been cracked. The Paratroopas that had tried to sneak up on Isei were blasted back by the strike, smashed straight into a wall, but the deadly hand neither made contact nor extinguished their lives. Several paces ahead the anthropomorphic turtles, dazed and confused, emerged from their shells and took a moment to reconsider their life choices.

"You limit your strength and let it waste away, happy to use what you have without challenging yourself", Isei stated bluntly as he turned back to face the gem, raising his still clenched fist to eye level. The old man's hand was calloused into a rock-like claw, knuckles somehow still prominent despite the abnormally bulging, coarse backhand. It was a fist trained through countless hours, a weapon honed from a lifetime of work. "How can you call yourself a warrior if you don't seek to become the strongest?".

"Alright, but don't say we didn't warn you..." The head Koopa said mysteriously as he too jumped into the water, joining the other members of his guard in swimming across the river. As Harvey and Haruki stepped in, the would start feeling a series of bumps at their feet, something the Troopas didn't feel thanks to retreating into their shells for the duration of the swim. Still, it didn't seem too bad...Until whatever had been bumping started biting. A glance down into the clear water would see the Cheap Cheaps that Haruki had been capturing earlier, though of a different color than the traditional red. These were blue, and smaller than the regular Cheap Cheaps, but the size didn't really matter so much since one of them had decided to clamp itself around Haruki's ankle. And more were coming.

Dee T. was able to catch most of what Sir Eglamour said. Enough to know that he was willing to help anyway, which took a humongous weight off of her shoulders. She vocalized this by sighing in relief, eyes shining with gratitude as she shifted Dane T. around on her shoulders a little. She knew she'd have to get him down into the underground fast and get him to the medical wing, so as much as she would've liked to lead Sir Eglamour to where he was going herself...Well, it was for the best probably. Thankful as she was, she wasn't necessarily keen on riding horseback again for a while.

"Your brodmaster is there," she said, pointing towards the cobblestone castle in the distance, for once thankful for the roof in the ceiling so she could point it out easily "I beg of you though, allow me to find some reinforcements for you. I have several friends who could help you, but if you must go now I won't stop you." True, she did think Sir Eglamour could break through the armies of Lord Bowser, but...She didn't want him to end up like the Toads they had sent there before had. She dared not even think about it for any longer than she had to. Still, no matter his response, she gave him a respectful nod and started to crawl down the chasm, her unconscious brother still riding piggy back.

Morton's hide may have been able to withstand the explosion, but that didn't mean his grip was quite as tough. He was only able to make out Samus as the pilot, his mind briefly noting to compliment her on her narcism to design such a powerful ship after her head if he got the chance to later, before getting tossed off the ship. For a few moments, he hurtled to the ground below, doing a few flips in the process. Samus had managed to lose him over the forest, so it was likely when Morton started hitting trees that things would rapidly become unpleasant...

Not that Morton was worried of course. Putting away his hammer, Morton took his ruby red wand back up and quickly summoned a duplicate of the Koopa Clown Car that he had sacrificed to deal damage to Samus' starship. He watched as it continued its downward descent before following it. Morton wasn't exactly a tech savvy genius like Ludwig. Hell, other than Larry and Iggy, he was probably the dullest of the eight Koopa Kid. And that was on his good days. Still, he knew a boon to the army when he saw one. Exactly how he was going to do it he wasn't sure of yet, but Morton was determined to get that ship back to the castle. Even if he had to do so piece by piece. That in mind, he started flying after her again, staying low now. He'd strike when it crashed.

@Deathxthextree

Kieri rolled the name around in her head for a moment, mostly so she wouldn't forget it later. She had a funny feeling that could be very, very bad. Ainz Ooal Gown...Certainly not a Median name, probably not an Angelic one or even a Demonic one. Which begged the question-what was he? This was a question for later however. She had started the introduction, she had to fulfill her end of it. 'Not that anyone would care of course.' Kieri winced. That voice again. She pushed it aside for now and spoke.

"I am K-Kieri Suizahn, unranked Angel s-soldier in t-training. Pleased to know y-you." She said shakily, not only still a little put off by Ainz's appearance, mannerisms, and now his power, but doing her best not to flip back to her Angelic tongue out of force of habit. She gave her wings another twitch. Getting better. She'd be in the skies again soon, and then she would be useful again. If one could call what she did useful, that was.

York's watched Roland snipe Paratroopa after Paratroopa out of their with relative ease, a pang of jealousy stabbing him briefly in the stomach. He briefly noted to ask about how he shot that well as most of the ground and air soldiers, what was left of them anyway, started retreating. The ones that weren't fast enough though...Well, with those, York's plan had worked like clockwork. Baiting them over to Ken had given the once sickly looking boy a nice meal of Turtle Soup with Mushroom slices, a meal York had no taste for but then he didn't judge. It'd have to be something truly disgusting for York to question someone's eating habits. Still, he made sure to keep his distance all the same, knowing by observation that even the tail was a nightmare to behold. Soon, the only sign that there had been an army here once was the corpses. And even then he was pretty sure that Ken would eat those.

That is, he was, until he saw Ken charging off in an odd direction. York watched him go, rubbing his chin contemplatively. "Hmm...Something we'll have to investigate later Zach. For now, we attend to the citizens." He paused briefly at his new companion Minz, shrugging at his question. "Once we find out who summoned it in the first place, we can ask them. Now then, let's see about any citizens that stuck around." York suggested before walking off towards the place where Jasper had been brutalizing the Toads before the true enemy had shown up. They would probably need some medical attention.

Jasper stared blankly at Isei as he ranted and raved. Was this human really trying to lecture her? She scoffed at his assertion that she was weak, gritting her teeth a bit at the 'call for superiors line'. "If the Diamonds responded to every cry for help a Gem had, they'd never get any true work done. No, if I come up against a stronger opponent, I don't call for help. If they shatter me, they'll merely take whatever data they can extract from my defeat and make another soldier for the job." She finished, still snarling but explaining it as if it were basic math. To her, it was-humans were a more rebellious species, but Gems took pride in their lack of individuality. No one was irreplaceable, save for the Diamonds. Those didn't need to be, they had only lost one in the past seven millennia.

Jasper tensed at this memory, a series of blue splotches starting to form on her arm for a moment before she cast them away. Her Diamond was gone. She had long accepted that. It drove her. It would not send her back into corruption.

She watched as Isei dispatched what was left of the Goombas and Koopas in town with a single punch, her eyebrow quirking slightly. It was impressive by human standards, but there was no destruction. A destroyed enemy was one who would not return to cause trouble later. Even a weak enemy could become a nightmare if you let them retreat. This motivation almost made her chase after the retreating Koopas and Goombas, but Isei stood in her path again before she could.

She stared down at Isei cooly, but her fiery eyes betrayed her true emotions. The more he spoke, the more angered she became. The subject behind his speech was one she was most familiar with. "That," she started, seething a little "is talk of Rebellion. I should've figured I would run into it again, all these humans running around. White Diamond should've destroyed your planet when she had the chance...I'm not so lenient." She finished, grabbing Isei by the neck and slamming him down into the ground below. What would happen next would be standard procedure-go into the quartz ball, grind him to dust on the ground below her. Jasper though felt that she should be particularly sadistic towards this human who dared spoke up to her. She wanted him to know her power. So she held him place for a bit, continually applying pressure to his neck

Haruki didn't even notice the cheep cheeps chewing on him- no matter how many came. Such predatory fish were a dime a dozen on Valky, which led the fish-eating Valkians to develop thick skin. And the Valkians were no slouches in endurance- there were wild animals on their homeworld which could survive re-entry. It didn't really matter anyway- in less than ten seconds, Haruki had swam the entirety of the fifty feet and was walking onto the opposite shore, fish nibbling uselessly at him.

It had appeared that the mother of these beasts had captured the castle of the current lord of this section of the otherworld. Well that knowledge made his task clearer. Sir Eglamour simply needed to traverse to the castle, infiltrate it, and then kill the dragon mother so the fairies could re-establish their realm. Surely after that display of heroism the Toads would direct his way back to the realm of man.

"If thou wishest to assemblen elles werreiours, plainlie directus hem towardes thy castel-yate!" Sir Eglamour of Artois declared towards the escaping Dee T. The knight moved away from the shop entrance and mounted upon his horse. Now saddled up the knight the knight applied pressure to his steed and moved his reins in the direction he wished to go. After these actions his bucked up-forwards and then began riding in the direction towards the castle he saw in the distance.

More and more minions continued to charge at the dark lord and his new-found "allies", slaughtering them one by one with both his lightsaber and extensive use of the force. Goombas squished underneath his boot as blood and guts curdle on the ground, Koopas getting themselves decapitated, it wasn't just a battle... it was a suicidal slaughter, at least for the opposing team. At one point, a whole flock of paratroopas were able to surround Vader and engulf him inside as they began punching and kicking at Vader. Yet it would simply be futile as the Sith issues a rippling force repulse, sending the minions flying out in all different directions, stunning them upon impact.

As the minions finally began to make a truly hasty retreat, Vader watches as he eventually retracts his lightsaber blade, the angry crimson hue instantly disappearing back into the shaft of Vader's handle. He then looks to his left, seeing Jasper and a new face, a human that resembled a more elderly martial artist. The man seemed to be blocking the woman's path, as if it was an act of mercy for the fleeing minions. This seemed to have pissed her off as she grabs the person by the neck and slamming him down into the ground below. Then, she curled forward, going into a ball and spinning in place. Whoever she was, she had an intense temper... anger that could rival Vader's in ferocity and intensity. But unlike Vader, he uses this anger to his power and strength, using every bit he can in battle. Jasper was simply wasting this potential.

However, the man seemed to be a powerful warrior. He normally wouldn't think on interjecting himself in these situations, but in a new dimension... in a new world like this one... perhaps he could help him get back to his dimension. The more the merrier was how it goes... or so he recalls. Does he count on it? Not necessarily. He had no idea who he was... but unity is what may bind the group together at this point. Which is ironic, since he usually does his work alone, only teaming up with troops or allies in more extreme cases. It's a rather jedi-like thought for Vader, a dark lord of the sith, but even he was once a jedi... the chosen one... Anakin Skywalker. But this wasn't the first time he did such a thing.

However, Vader kept his ground, and will only put himself within the two if it gets out of hand...

The alieron roll pays off as Morton eventually lost his grip and was flung off from the smoking ship, crashing into the forest below. However, Samus has other more serious problems to worry about. Her ship was slowly loosing altitude and is descending slowly down to the ground. It's going to be anything but a smooth landing for her. Trying to slow down her decent, Samus' gunship has just been barely able to get out from the forest perimeter and crash into the plains below, knocking off dirt and rubble as her ship eventually grinds to a screeching halt, a small random explosion coming from one of the rear engines.

Samus approaches her elevator as she quickly jumps out from the entrance hole and onto the smooth ground. It almost mirrored what happened back at the other world, only she was able to land without any problems there. This couldn't be said for here however. The gunship needs to be fixed ASAP. A pop-up came on her visor, coaxing her to activate the repair droids as three of them were released from the entrance hole, quickly attending to the engines at hand. Now, the bounty hunter should either wait by her ship, or find a way back to Toad Town were the battle was taking place...

Harvey slid into the water like a fish. Imagine that. Keeping both hands on his hat and briefcase, Harvey's feet and sides flashed piscinely as he swam across the lake. For some reason, Harey was quite fast underwater, and this allowed him to almost keep up with Haruki. The sudden onslaught of a school of Porcupuffers, of course, gave him good reason to not entirely keep up with Haruki.

It was quite cod that these fierce fish were so aggressive. The sheer scale of even one of them should have forced them to eat almost constantly. For an entire school of these things, starvation would be a shoal thing. Were there really fish that got this and this hungry, or were they only attacking for the halibut? The very idea that brainless fish would kill something for no porpoise whatsoever was ridiculous! These paradoxes were giving Harvey a splitting haddock, he'd have to mullet over some potato liquor later. For now, Harvey's main goal was trawling ass and getting the shell out of the water, which he did with gusto.

With a tremendous splash, Harvey leaped out of the water, and flopped onto dry ground right next to Haruki.
"Whale," said Harvey, wringing his hat out, "That was ofishally the second-worst swim I've had this week." Harvey slapped the side of his head. Being in the water always gave him a burning need to think in eely bad fish puns.

Harvey looked back at the lake, and watched the Koopas slowly make their way across. Harvey breamed at the contingent of tardy turtles, satisfied that he could outpace them handily. Despite a rather unfortunate encounter with the local wildlife, this adventure was going swimmingly!
