@Lexicon @dragonmancer Would it be plausible that there are demons/demonic corruption in the east and/or north? Asivar isn't so active in the south and west of the world, but he has his Nomads in the east and the Tribes in the North.

While you all struggle with these horrible demons, Thu-mmmok will be chilling in the desert, undisturbed.

I intend to get a post up later today, sending Louis off on a quest.

@Legion02 Definitely. There are four demon lords, remember. Azmodan is the Demon Lord of the South and also represents the domain of pestilence. Yigzavath should have fun with that. Xavius is the Demon Lord of the West, and he has the power of famine. Baalrog is the Demon Lord of the East, and his domains are war and fire. Asivar and him will be best buddies, I'm sure. And yes, I'm joking. Lastly, Ralthalac is the Demon Lord of the North, and his domain is death. I feel like demonblight is the demonic equivalent of salting the earth so their enemies can't use it. There's probably corruption all over Erathel, but it's mainly focused in the south. I would, however, ask that you don't pull Ralthalac or Xavius into the fray just yet. As long as @dragonmancer approves, I'm thinking we start this off slow and build up to a battle against each of the four demon lords. The first one we deal with will obviously be Azmodan, also known as the Malady That Walks and the Bane of Ermio.

@ActRaiserTheReturned My only concern with your post is there hasn't been a single mention of demonic hordes in this RP yet. Except the warband of bloodthirsters that attacked the village Ha defended. The whole explanation for why the demon lords haven't conquered Gaea during the Silence is because they're too evenly matched. Any overt military actions taken by one of them, like assembling a huge army, is going to piss off the other three. Now, I'm fine with the demonic force you mentioned in your post being a group of random, unaffiliated demons that don't serve any of the four lords. If that's the case, Azmodan and the others wouldn't respond to it. Less competition.

Also, and this is just a general note for everyone, remember demons are the big bad of this RP...with some additional foes created by @dragonmancer. *Cough* Ancalagon *Cough.* We don't necessarily want them to be fodder so you can show off how badass your characters are. While your gods and maybe your heroes can certainly mow down lesser demons with ease, I'd advise that you all take some time to really think about how you'd approach dealing with a being as powerful as Azmodan or even a greater demon. Heck, think about how your character's mortal worshippers would deal with demonic attacks. They've probably seen the occasional bloodthirster, but Gaea is more of a post-apocalyptic wasteland than a warzone. At least, for now it is. And feel free to continue pursuing your own plots and whatnot. The demon narrative is just a way to keep things connected by some kind of main thread and to give those players that don't have a plotline of their own something to do.

The four Demon lords and Ancalagon are both very near god level, they are essentially the highest tier of demi-god type creatures at least for demons. However they are still bounded only to physical manifestations, so while they are not as free as the gods themselves, they are still almost as powerful as the primals. (For example, Baalrog can hold his own against kilgarrah for a good fight, with a 40% of victory.)

And yes, as Lexicon stated were starting it off slow, the demon lords will be the master behind the strings of their armies that we will have to deal with. However some Gods might want to try to ally with the demons instead, for their own personal motives and to help inspire political aggression between the pantheon.

@dragonmancer @Lexicon Let's be honest here, if Baalrog plays his cards right, Asivar and him would totally be biggest buds.
"Oh you like fighting too!? And you got awesome fire weapons! AWESOME! Oh me? Just God of bloodshed, hunting, and beast taming. No biggie. Hey, how about a duel and then some big ass hunting party? After that we can make an actual party for 3 days. Oh and after that we can go raid this one place called Ha'Zufel. Nothing big, some few barricades my brother put up but you know, demons & berserkers together could probably tear that down."

Lulz, some few barricades.
Guess i'll have to describe the place properly >:P

Also, i'm not worried about your tribes and barbarians being more than mine lord Asivar. Quality beats quantity in my book, that being the true book of war. How to utterly destroy your foes, the chivalrous way, with big walls and machines doing the hard work.
After all, we are all far to important to be fighting simple barbarians. Not to mention filthy deamons!
Let the defenses do the hard work and take down the leaders with feats of arms.
True, the rampaging hordes of the huntsman are lacking manners, so it's only proper to bring a squadron of elite troops to the duel, since the barbarians weren't going to have a proper duel anyway.

I'm gonna have to figure out some things, luckily lady Kalla seems to have opened up an opportunity to get this army thing going properly!

@Klomster "Mate... don't act as if you're the only one with a marching army here to help our sister." - Asivar. The new God Wars won't be Ha vs Asivar XD. It will be Ha & Asivar trying to be better at fighting off the demons XD. "What!? 2 demons hordes! GATHER THE TRIBES! WE'RE TAKING DOWN THAT EASTERN DEMON HORDE! I can't let Ha take the lead!" "Sir, our troops have to rest and can't cross that distance-" "Did I stutter!?"

Also, anyone interested in making a map of Erathel? I can easily do a hand-drawn one, though it won't be pretty.

@Thantos It's just a nickname given to the valley after it was attacked and destroyed by the Healer's Guild. No big deal.

Alright, gonna try and wiggle my way back into this. @Lexicon if there's demons near Talpike, I'd be up for having Vorris and them do the ol' dick kick on his way to Hagers.

@NachoBachoPacho The fiends are in the desert. You can pull up to them if you want. Get some interaction going.

@SepticGentleman Glad to hear it. And yes, a group of fifteen or so bloodthirsters, lesser demons sworn to Azmodan's service, are scouting the outskirts of Talpike. They aren't attacking yet, but they are taking note of whatever defenses the village has.

EDIT: Just so everyone knows, I'm sure dragonmancer or myself will be more than happy to play as one of the bloodthirsters if your character decides to interact with them. Or you can just kill the crap out of them. Tis up to you, and if you have any ideas you'd like to try out just let us know. Better to ask the question than to assume, after all.

Well I want to have Vorris along a winding path to Hagers to run into some minor stuff, so if they don't attack him first, he'll just keep strutting along. And Isabella will keep gradually building up the Acolytes to the point where they can start making an influence again. If I get a hook for them, I'll manage well enough.

Then there's my third guy and his posse, but they're not important right now.

EDIT: If either of you plays the bloodthirsters, that's cool with me. Can have a right good tussle.
