Updates: Final thoughts on weight. Going to align things more towards Cayden's mech and double the existing values of everything else. I wouldn't alter your perception of how your machine is supposed to operate.
I also want to get things started on Monday so if anyone is lurking around and wants to get in it would be nice if you did it before then.
The floating city that the tournament will be massive. A radius of 43km, so over 500 sqaure miles with stadiums within stadiums and plenty of room for corporations to set up shop in temporarily, a sort of grand expo for new tech to be showcased and whatever else seems relevant to have.
The tournament will start off with one or two 1v1 single elimination rounds to cull the heard. These rounds will all be in a relatively small arena with few, if any, terrain elements. After that it will move on to teams (Teams of 4?). Competitors will need to choose their own teammates from among each other and will then be subject to matches with random objectives, rules and numbers of pilots. When the teams have been reduced enough in number a final 1v1 elimination bracket will be formed this time using any stadium with random terrain.
Feel free to criticize the above as much as you like. It probably still needs some more thought.
