As a recommendation for the future, when you do something with/to another person's character, could you mention them in the post? Makes things easier to figure out what's happening to whom and who needs to respond.

@a tattooed girl Oop yes, totally spaced about the three-day deadline since my character just retreated haha... Um, my next post will just be about her reporting her discoveries and seeking medical attention and will basically be a solo post, so I was hoping to wait a little until I could get some more action in but will post this afternoon (pst) :)

@Thundercrash Umm.. maybe either Shade or the Sneasel notices he doesn't have his rank or name patches on his uniform anymore? Like, they were stripped off.. or something? I just kind of left it open cause there's not really much for him to do, for either him or his houndour because if one of them made a wrong move he'd be dead like *snaps* that with Sneasel's claws that close to him. xP

@A Tattooed Girl Jackson's best shot to live is to convince everybody that he was never part of the Regime in the first place, which means he's going to have to come up with an excuse as to why he's wearing their uniform (honestly, the reason that he's not dead already is because Razor got to him before Shade. Otherwise Shade would have just blown his head off without giving him a chance to talk). He could try telling the truth and explain that he was kicked out of the Regime, but Shade's not going to believe him. She'd assume that he was lying just to save his own skin.

@a tattooed girl Okay it's late now and I haven't gotten around to the post yet (Eek!). Will definitely have it up by tomorrow night, but will see if I can get it up earlier. Can't promise anything though.

@thundercrash Wouldn't it be more obvious if he lied then? Maybe it'd be better to resolve the conflict with Jackson telling the truth and Shade doubting him, but someone else knocking Razor out/off/back before he kills Jackson so everyone gets a chance to talk haha

I'm thinking Isaiah will find rats in a Powerball on one of the soldiers. Anything more might require a side arc.

@Lyghtbringer Such as a Ratatta? Seems like an odd pokemon for a soldier to be catching. Just how useful would that thing be? Not that I'm making fun or anything of that nature. I love rats and own one, myself. His name is Padfoot. He's very smart ^^ So I guess maybe it could work. Say the soldier in question was a recruit. It would make sense. The higher rank you received, the better and more powerful pokemon you were entrusted with..? :]

@a tattooed girl I'm pretty sure @lyghtbringer meant to type "ralts" but missed the 'l', I think, since he voiced his interest in said Pokemon a while ago. Then again, I could be mistaken. Rattata and rats are indeed very cool--much smarter than mice, I think, although mice are smaller and usually cuter in my opinion ^_^

@Dusksong@A Tattooed Girl How would it be obvious he's lying? Nobody here has ever met each other before, so they know nothing about one another. As far as I can tell (it's certainly the case with Shade and Razor) the only reason people think Jackson is part of the Regime is because he's currently wearing the uniform. Had he not been wearing the uniform in the first place, he'd have made a very different first impression. Unless a lie is particularly outrageous, whether or not it's obvious you're lying depends on good you are at looking and sounding sincere.

If, for example, Jackson claimed that he was never part of the Regime and just stole the uniform off a dead soldier to have something warm to wear, that would be quite believable to Shade. She's done similar things in the past, though she usually uses uniforms for kindling. Lying would come back to bite him in the future, but right now Jackson wouldn't be thinking about the future. He would be thinking about "how do I stop this Sneasel from tearing a big hole in my throat?"

It's Tattooed's decision of course, but trying to knock Razor off is a bad idea for two reasons: Razor has his claws right against Jackson's throat, and Shade currently has a gun. She's not trigger happy, but she wouldn't take kindly to somebody attacking Razor. Talking them down is the safest option.
