So I found this forum when I was looking for a "Übel Blatt" picture (which I didn't even find by the way :P) but it looked fun and interesting so here I am!
I'm from Italy and I could be a girl or a boy (I'm not telling cause privacy) and I like anime and videogames. I've roleplayed before, mainly Dungeons and Dragons but not that much so don't expect my entries to be perfect. I like Fantasy/Dark Fantasy and Sci-Fi roleplay the most, I'm okay with gore (the more the better >:3) just as long as it doesn't become a sex or F****d up Rp cause that would get me very uncomfortable xD.
I would also like someone to tell me the rules on how to roleplay because the only posts I saw where about what not to do so if someone will tell me I'd be gratefull u.u

Hallo. What do you mean by the rules on how to roleplay? When I joined not too long ago, I basically just lurked for a while to see what I liked best and followed along with what roleplays I joined. Basically rules are just site rules and rules given by GM.

Your first bet is to check your PM box, read everything, check the articles/guides section of the forum, read everything that looks relevant there, and if ya still have questions or want a slightly odd approach at the minute price of one tiny soul, I can offer my own advice.

Also most anime I watch are the ones that no one watches: Last Exile, Madoka Magica, K-On, Black Cat, Spice & Wolf (and some more well known ones like Gundam and Attack on Titan).
I actually read manga more though and there's even more lesser known ones there :P

Basically you go to the interest checks and look for a roleplay you want to join. Once you find one, you tell them you are interested. Many people have seen Madoka Magica, K-On!, and Spice & Wolf. Just not anyone outside of the community. The only manga I've heavily gotten into so far are Gabriel Dropout, Eromanga-sensei, Koi to Uso, and Nisekoi (Though I'm only half way through it).

Well I say nobody as in nobody I know has ever seen them and they're also not that well known in general I think :P Anyway thanks for the info to both you and ArenaSnow! :D

I joined the website with the intention of doing a roleplay of my own story and basically just that, but I decided to join others, mostly because it was taking longer than I expected to get people's attention lel.
I basically am only willing to do: Medieval, modern, romance, ecchi, action, and game. As well as Pokemon stuff. I honestly wouldn't mind a Kagepro rp, that'd be pretty nice.

Oh I'd love to do some RP with my stories but it seems so hard being a GM so it's pretty intimidating to me xD
I'm okay with most of the ones you listed except romance and ecchi, I have no idea how that's gonna play and it seems like it could get pretty awkward especially if I was doing it :P

For you I'd suggest hopping into something on the free forum totally not because I'm trying to nab people in an interest check I posted there and work up from there. Generally, you read the opening post, make a char in the parameters of the roleplay setting, post it and wait for the GM to tag ya and say you're approved, in which case you can generally repost your char into the Char section.

Not something to do without experience in roleplays on the site. Interest drifts like the wind, and the hard part isn't getting people, it's keeping them.

A couple of men, cloaked in black, walked up to this unknown soul that had wandered into their territory. The two gazed upon this soul, wondering if this soul was friend or foe. Either way, that soul was a perfect tribute to appease their God. One of the cloaked men spoke out this stranger.

"You there. Welcome to the cult for role playing. By stepping onto our alter, you've consented to offering up your soul to our God. Prepare yourself for the eternal realm of fantasy that awaits you. Hone your skills as a writer and convert those around you into our cause. The sacred text to guide you are found in every room. Imagination awaits. Heh heh." What started as a slight chuckle, turned into a maniacal laughter.

(So you guys know, I still haven't got working internet. Running on that mobile data still, which will probably run out anytime now. This is the day we really push to get the ISP to fix the problem though, so hopefully I'll be properly active again in a few hours.)

Welcome to the guild. Everyone's mostly given you what you need to know, but if you need other answers, I can try to help out. Mostly, the GM decides the rules of the RP. Just like @NekoMizu, I personally tend to only RP using the setting of my own project, though for the time being I won't be RPing here at all it seems. I'm still usually able to talk though, when I'm not having problems with technology.
