Hattori nodded, taking in the information. No doubt Chosokabe would think of a suitable punishment for the destruction Hattori had caused in his office. He looked towards Yunnosuke. "I'm much better, actually, needed to clear my head, hehe" Hattori laughed off his latest brotherly spat as if it were nothing. "I'm a little more worried about the Rank Challenge honestly. Say, Miko? who conducted yours?" Hattori.

Miko looked both of the guys and sighed. "Saejima Mori. He challenge me to a fight. And he was...a monster to say the least." Miko explained. Mori was renowned for being one of the few Human Hunter that had an array of yokai like abilities. That even Chosokabe could not beat him. "He knew my tactics before I even thought of them. He was truly something else." Hattori looked on blankly, before he burst into laughter. "I mean, I've heard he's quite skilled as well, but really? You're more suited to support, Miko. No offense." His arrogance showing through more.

"That's not the point!" Miko shouted before calming down. "There's a rather startling reason why Chosokabe put you guys in tomorrow's challenge..." she stated, her tone becoming more serious. "Daigo and I was given a scouting assignment by Chosokabe. A few A ranked Hunters from Osaka had hunted down a particular powerful Berserker. When we got there, all we could see was this man standing around as those same hunters layed on the ground lifeless. We had to get out of there, but he found us. I didn't get to see his face, Daigo pushed me out of the way and held the guy off. Before he left, he...he beat Daigo in a single strike." Miko explained with an expression of worry etched on her face. "We told Chosokabe, and since then he's been issuing out Rank Challenges to various C, B and even A ranked Hunters. It's a lot more serious than you guys know"

Hattori didn't know what to say, he turned to Yunnosuke. "Chosokabe is not one to rest on his laurels if he knows something big is going to go round, right? Now we have even more of a motive to pass this challenge." Hattori said, motivated and determined. Able to stand up, Hattori headed towards the door. "If you need a lift, you can always piggy back on my scooter."

Yunosuke threw Hattori a dirty look. It was irritating as hell to hear the yokai calling Mike a supporting role. Sure, it was her skill set, but it didn't make her test any less difficult. Hattori was crowing like an absolute cock. It must be hard, thinking you're a gift to mankind twenty-four seven.

He found it difficult to stay peeved after hearing Miko's report. "In one hit? You're not shitting me, are you?" If anybody idolized Daigo more than him, it was the badass' own partner. There was no way Miko would be hyperbolic. A quick glance at Hattori proved that they wouldn't be at 100% tomorrow. "I guess we can't take this lightly. You think we're ready, right?" he tried to cheer himself up by asking Miko with a teasing smile.

The bespectacled girl's lips wavered and she tapped her chin, "Honestly? Hattori could take the exam blindfolded. He's the one who passed up a chance at a higher rank, after all. And I'm confident that you're smart enough, Yuno-chan... but it's what comes after that frightens me. What's the real difference between a C Rank and a B when there's forces out there that defy our classification?" She was always so literal, so statically minded, and when it came down to it, blunt. He'd be lying if he said his pride wasn't throbbing with the wound she just dealt. Putting money on Hattori was a no brainer and he was the perpetual underdog.

Hattori stood up and made his intention to get out of there quite clear. Yunosuke was all too happy to quit the bleak surroundings and depressing conversation, but he'd be damned if he just accepted a scooter ride without some remark.

"I'll take you up on that, but only because you look like hell. What kind of man would I be if I let you out of my sight after a massacre like that one you just went through? If you're gonna be doing any passing out in the road, I'd like to be there," he swiftly pulled out his phone, "Even if only for blackmail."

Miko smiled as both Hattori and Yunosuke both decided to leave. "I'll see you guys tomorrow! I'm waiting for Daigo to come and get his medicine. Good luck!" with a more cheerful tone, Miko waved them off. "Oh har har, Yuno!" Hattori groaned as they both left the room. The nurse came over to Miko. Rina was the academy's expert on medicine and aid, a former shinigami who's supportive abilities are second to none. "Those two are in for a shock if they do go toe to toe with Saejima" She remarked. The sky was beginning to darken, Hattori stretched out, looking up to the destroyed window that was situated at Chosokabe's Office. "I guess I acted a little too recklessly..." Hattori said, sighing as then focused back on heading back home. Luckily his scooter was where he placed it, he was sure Chosokabe would've had moved by now. "So where am I taking you? I pretty much know this city well." he asked taking out his helmet. He then handed the spore over to Yunosuke.

"My mind is racing with just so many questions about this ranked challenge business. Our opponent, if we will succeed, and most of all." He stopped himself, his expression becoming slightly more serious. "Just who the hell attacked Daigo. if someone can take him out in a single hit? then they mean business." He rambled on. "Anyway, let's go."
