Everyone who's been born in Granite Oaks in the past twenty years knows the story of the Granite Oaks Reaper. Over a six month period, twelve high school students were killed by one deeply disturbed young man, Harrison Hughes. Hughes was an outcast, born on the wrong side of the tracks and a loner by all means. They locked him up and threw away the key. After that, the town sort of went to shit. A good portion of the town left, fleeing the horror that had plagued them for far too long.
Now days, Granite Oaks is a quiet town with a population just a little under one thousand. The story of Harrison Hughes is always in the back of everyone's minds, but it is rarely the subject of a public conversation. We've almost erased the stain that the Reaper left on this community. Key word: almost.
What Lies Beneath is a roleplay inspired by classic slasher films, and shows such as Scream and Stranger Things. Our characters will be fighting to survive and unmask the serial killer who is targeting those in attendance at Granite Oaks High. Characters will die, so be prepared for that. This will have some pretty dark themes. The killer may be played by one of you guys, or I myself could play them, either one works for me. So yeah, any questions or what not, let me know :)
