@The Grey Dust Aw, I wanted to create the stars and make a world with several Moons. I suppose there is no harm done in having something as a starting point though and that doesn't mean that there couldn't be some not-so-different principles.

You could. I think there may a be a standard prime material planet, as implied by the AP actions list. And you can create stars and moons and what not. If you wanted you can add in a second sun or three.

But we could also start off in a blank void. Regardless I'm going to have my god create a plane for himself.

I thought we'd go from the very basics of absolutely nothingness. And I think that if you want to really fuck around with gravity, you're welcome to it. I'm more interested in creating tableus for future moments of awesomeness.

There is pretty much nothing besides the prime material plane itself, with rules that at least before the gods change them are exactly the same as our reality. So stars, planets, the oceans and the people are going to need to be created. There is a reason why this is called Lords of Creation!

Ah, how fun!
I've got the beginnings of an idea for Muorival's plane, which is more or less a Hades that she rules over. I'm also trying to think of some kind of Grim Reaper entities that serve her, but still working on that.

@Fubsy

But Hades is boring.

You should have her rule over some sort of "rainbows and Happiness" afterlife which is so cute and innocent it's vomit inducing.
Her servitors are majestic flying unicorns. That kill people by impaling their flaming horns, and trampling them to the ground.

Then again X's plane is essentially a giant desert with a library build in the center.
But I've already thought up of his servitors, and they are quite fun and befitting of a god of mysteries.

ppfft. Belaro has no need for his own special plane. He's all about the mortals.

I'm thinking of creating some totally rad environments. After all, for there to be journeys and adventures, you need something to journey and adventure through.
And nature is totally fucking rad, and deserves a good deal of stories.

Ah, but the rainbows and unicorns are merely the first level of hell in that realm. Beneath are much worse, like baby's laughter and glitter bombs and the lost testicle of a cyclist for some odd reason.

Honestly, though, I'm thinking of making it like a heavily forested labyrinth-esque plane with the center being a sort of 'Paradise' while the outer walls are reserved for lost/wicked souls. As for her servants, I'm thinking of almagamations that grow and evolve through devouring the souls of the damned. Or, y'know, pink unicorns. Either or.

@Sypherkhode822
Like giant mushroom trees and reverse waterfalls? That would actually be hella cool.

Why not mushrooms, trees, and waterfalls? It's like a reverse waterfall, but in reverse.

(But I am snagging the idea of a reverse waterfall)

I made a wonderful 9 layer hell once each layer given a sin and theme. First layer was "Pagan" and based off of Nordic Lands. Second was "Pride" based off of Feudal Japan. Then "Greed" Ancient Egypt. "Lust" Sultan's Arabia, "Wrath" Warring Rome. "Gluttony" Boyar Russia/Transylvania. "Sloth" Aztec. "Envy" Victorian England. And of course "Chaos" a burning lake of fire and torment.

Each Layer had a top boss of which in order: a Ghost, a Flesh Golem, a Mummy, a Ghoul, a Werewolf, Vampire, Gargoyle, Liche, and Demon :)

A reverse reverse waterfall?! That's like reverse! But twice.
(Go ahead, though lmao. I'm interested in how you're gonna shape the world.)

@FoxFire
A bit of an idea that I'd like to get your opinion on. Since your god is one of justice, what do you think of Xeaniax being the one who judges where the souls go?

@The Grey Dust
That sounds amazing! I'm partly tempted to steal somebody aspects of the idea lol.

I *reeely* want to create the links between all the secret planes and the mortal realm.

I had this cool idea that the only way for someone to get into X's plane is to wander around in a desert for 40 days and nights, and when the sun rises on the next day, you'll be in the realm of X.
That way there's still the possibility that someone can find their way in by accident, but they're much more likely to die first. And then if they make it over, but die while walking through X's desert to the library, the bones can just pile up there. which is eeextra spoooky!

And the link to the realm of the dead would be through the reverse waterfall. Once you reach the summit by rowing a boat up it, your perspective flips, you're at the bottom of the waterfall, and all you see are dead people.

You actually need to ride through a desert on a horse with no name for 9 days, then once you release horse, the desert would turn into X's realm.

X's realm can actually be accessed through all the realms since it's planned to be the realm between the realms. Some sort of Patchy Nexus which touches all the realms due to its weird spatial geometry. I haven't quite decide on how to access the realm between realms since usually if you're making a portal from one plane to another you'd actually step through X's plane which lies on the edge of the portal... A such if you could extend your portal to widen the gap, then travel down the path until you reach the Nexus where the sand begins...

Holy crap, that's actually a really good idea. Maybe they have to row up at certain area during a certain time during a certain day, but only when the Lamp of Muorival is at its brightest.

Well, @Fubsy, I was thinking about that too and also about the first creation of life itself. I don't believe the dominion of Xeaniax is life but I can give the bodies of every living creature form and function. I believe @Marquise's Jhera would be better suited to breath life into the empty structures Xeaniax creates and Muorival giving them a soul.

Definitely. Though Yithgul would probably be the one breathing life into them, Muorival would definitely have a hand in shaping their souls. Maybe everyone's would try and place too much of themselves in a being, causing a diversity of races? I dunno, just a thought.

Isn't each god capable of creating life? But no one specializes in a particular sort of life. Since life in itself, along with creation is a vast domain that I encompasses much. I suppose it is possible to have multiple death gods too with the Pantheons if more people show up. But I was under the impression every god had the ability to create life and shape worlds as they see fit. But cannot do such things on a macroscopic scale, like perhaps a small settlement of a new race, but cannot fill the planes with them.

@Fubsy, Mourival is order for the souls in the afterlife, Xeaniax is order in abstract, most likely in society and maybe in life depending on how things go. I think we should start a pantheon. Maybe wife and husband to the eyes of the mortals?

I'd be up for it.

@The Grey Dust
i will fite other death gods
There could be a chance for a diety of Plague or Bloodshed or something that purposely causes death, through probably not the same role as Muorival has since she's more along the lines of actually helping the souls in their transition.

I already have some ideas for creating flocks of migratory birds, plants and animals that would be used for making instruments, and just useful things in general. I mean, you gotta start with the normal before things get abnormal.

TBH,

I'm okay with starting now or tomorrow. The way this forum works, you gotta strike while the iron is hot, ya know? And once we kick it off, we can put in the OOC title Actively Recruiting, so we can rope in more rivals players to join us.

Every god can create life and fill the planes with them, though it'd be a OOC no-no if you do so to the prime material or someone else's plane without talking about it with the other players, because it might be too much for some or hinder others in different ways. Every god can also shape the worlds through the actions described in the first post.

Domains fill in more of a fluff aspect of the game, they pretty much deal with the god's powers when not using AP, and give a certain flare when they do. A god of life can create curses and build worlds, though the means of how they do so are quite different to the god of forges. The god of life might literally birth a planet, while the forge god might craft one in his heavenly forge larger than a continent.

So while the gods might be gods of this or that, they all can do the same things if by different means to every other god. Hope this helps clear things up a bit.

Edit:

I'll be starting this sometime within the next 48 hours, school and all keeping me down at the moment.
