It took me a minute but I realized this team has a lot of grenadiers.

Edit: There was a lot from my knowledge. Nevermind then.

*peers at his CS worriedly. Doesn't think his character is in anyway a grenadier, but now he's worried*

I don't think mine is...no grenades listed in the equipment section...though I suppose that could be changed from mission to mission as needs yes?
No Underbarrel GLs...though if ever I get the chance I'm slinging an underbarrel shotgun off the bottom of that C7, pull a "Buck", for abit.
Anyone who plays recent FPSs will know who I'm referring too. :3
Got me worried there for abit...

Only two Grenadiers in the Team and one SAW/Minimi operators. In a team this size, I would prefer to see two or three of each of these weapon systems. But we have decent firepower.

@Gunther

Hmm, would it be cheeky to get a response in? I can have Ed with Romek, if you like, as he's got a spotting device, and already operates as a designated marksman.

I picked grenadier because it was the only one of an actually military use that I could find. But I agree with Bigpapa, I too can be changed for whatever the missions requires.

I wouldn't call it Cheeky. Isn't that what the OOC is for? Great! Wonderful!
Edward Thatcher and Romek Czerepusko form a Scout/Sniper Team! Hua that!

My post suggested that there weren't enough, ONL. I believe there should be another SAW/Minimi gunner as well. With 11 people, we could use 2 or 3 Grenade launchers. Same with the Light Machine Gun.

Bravo Two Zero starring Sean Bean is based on a true story during the Gulf War in 1991. If you have never seen this movie, I highly recommend it. The eight man British SAS team at the center of this movie uses only M16A1 rifles with M203 Grenade Launchers and FN Minimi LMGs. I believe the quantity of weapons systems is split evenly; four and four. When you are operating this deep behind enemy lines you want to have as much firepower as you can. Their mission was to cut a fiber optic cable between Baghdad and the SCUD missile launchers in Northwestern Iraq. They completed their mission, but most ended up being taken prisoner by the Iraqis. It is an awesome movie. Please do not shy away from bringing Grenade Launchers and Light Machine Guns.

Woot!
JTF2 and CSOR in one force. This ought to be interesting.
The Canadians have their own brand of badassery after all.
Just imagine what you could get done with a JTF2 sniper, and a CSOR rifleman on site.
Facta Non Verba and Audeamus. What more could you ask for?
What? I'm proudly Canadian.

I don't remember. I watched that movie about 20 years ago. But seriously, he does die a lot, doesn't he? We always have Sharpe's Eagle.

My favorite line comes right after this scene...

When the South Essex Regiment prove they can fire 3 or 4 rounds per minute, he congratulates them. Captain Sharpe says, "Wonderful boys! I told you to stand and fire three rounds per minute. You have just proven to me you can fire three rounds per minute. Well done!" Then he offers a slight pause and asks, "can you stand?"

After all, standing in the face of an enemy who wants to kill you is the more difficult task, isn't it?

Well I was waiting on Trooper's post before moving us forward, but he hasn't been signed on since he posted his sheet, so I guess we're gonna move forward without him for the time being. We depart in ~12 hours (or whenever I get a chance to log on tomorrow).
