Things to Know:
1. Do PM me :c I don't check the thread often. I'm sorry T^T
2. I can typically write from two to five paragraphs-- sometimes more. I am not really good with grammar, but I would like to ask that your posts be understandable. Oh, and also I'd like my partner to be at least somewhere in the medium-casual to advance levels, if that makes any sense :c
3. I am a fairly slow writer since my days would suddenly be too tense and tight. Rest assured, I'll give you a heads-up.
4. Along with that, I am also a very patient one. I am able to wait even up to three months of inactivity, and I'd still be willing to continue :D
5. I'd like my partner to also be able to progress the story with me :D I want someone who can build the world, not just play it out. After all, it takes two to tango!
6. Also, have fun :D

Plots
Iris Ullushe
The Blind Hermit
Status: On-Hiatus C
Name of Story: The Blind Price
Setting: Fantasy-Medieval country of Khoti; starts in the Viltis Woods
Lore Size: Large-Expansive
Plot: A famous mercenary, grown bored with the normal missions that the capital city brings, is suddenly presented with a peculiar quest: a job to escort a patron to the far-flung village of Acheron. Now, it wasn't the quest that raised the mercenary's brows. Rather, it was the reward: one gold coin. However, the mission smelled of excitement, and as such, the mercenary went to meet with the employer. Then, to the mercenary's disbelief, the employer wasn't a rich businessman or a distinguished officer. No, Iris, the patron, was not even anyone important. In fact, he was just a hermit-- a blind hermit.
Anuth
The Grim Reaper
Status: Taken A
Name of Story: Death's Gentle Regret
Setting: Fantastical-Medieval world of Quris
Lore Size: Large-Expansive
Plot: A grim reaper was once an angel whose wings were torn asunder because of their disobedience. For their penance, they must collect the souls of those whose strings were set to be severed. After a hundred set souls, they would once again regain their wings, and be part of the bright chorus of angels. Thus, Anuth, a grim reaper, viciously collects humanity's souls without remorse. While other reapers give a few minutes or hours before the person expires, the eager reaper uses his scythe to instantly kill the dying individual as he readies himself for another soul. Now, at his hundredth soul, Anuth drifts into the woman's home. His black cloak fluttering behind him, and with but a whisper, he raises his scythe and brings it down on the girl. However, his blade phases through her, and no matter what Anuth did, he could not sever the girl's soul in order to finally regain his wings.
Angered, Anuth ascends to the heavens as he confronts the One with furious questions of why he can't sever his last soul. The One shrugs it off, telling Anuth that, perhaps, while he had dutifully performed his duties as a reaper, he never really learned the value and lesson of life. He did his task to ascend, not to learn. As such, the One sends Anuth back to the mortal world so that he may learn more of human life. With but a snap of His fingers, Anuth is reeled back to earth-- stripped off of a great portion of his divinity and powers, the fallen reaper wanders the cold rainy streets. Feeling mortal emotions of hunger and chill, the reaper was destined for doom until a woman meets and takes him in-- the same woman whose soul he is destined to sever.
Meldreg Tethot Cesqec
The Prince of the Abandoned
Status: Vacant
Name of Story: Upheaval
Setting: Starts at the Abomination's Sarcophagus, and expands into the medieval world of Hamur
Lore Size: Massive-Expansive
Plot: Long ago within the canyons of Aker, a massive army mustered by the kings of Hamur encroached upon the Empire of the Abandoned, a mystical fortress of society's outcasts and rebels. Even with the land on their side, the defenders of the Abandoned succumbed to the superior weaponry and numbers of the allied forces. The kings' soldiers swarmed the canyon citadel as they captured the fortress' young prince, Meldreg, and brought the rebel leader to the kingdom of Kafel where the world witnessed Meldreg's execution as the prince's body dangled from the gallows. The kingdoms celebrated Meldreg's death, but the ominous words left by the prisoner sent a tingle down everyone's spines: 'At the sepulchral toll of Tazilek's bells, the Abandoned will rebel from the earth's embrace, and claw out from Neela's grasp.'
After the execution, the people threw Meldreg's body into a special burial pit and labyrinth, built solely to contain the prince's body where no one could resurrect him in order to prove his prophecy wrong. And, so, for the next centuries, the rebels of the Abandoned fell silent upon the forgotten graves in Aker. However, as mankind's knowledge increased, their capability for terror shot up to disastrous levels. A powerful tyrant made it his goal to capture all the kingdoms in order to unite all lands under his rule, and so, he razed kingdom after another, enslaving his enemies whilst his power and wealth grew. The innocents suffered in his diabolical grab for power, and it would seem that the now self-declared emperor Warros was unstoppable.
Then, from one of the peasant villages, the elders sent forth their most promising rogues to deal with the situation. The victims of the tyranny decided that if Meldreg's prophecy was true, the forgotten prince could be the answer to defeating Warros' rule. However, it was quite unfortunate that every able man was forced to serve the army, and as such, they had to make do with a female rogue to search for Meldreg's tomb. But, before the woman could leave for the journey, one of the elders gave her a dazzling, emerald bell-- the Bell of Tazilek. The elder instructed her to ring the bell once she found the tomb in order to awaken Meldreg, and save Hamur from destruction.
So, the rogue travels for miles upon miles, and though battered and bruised, comes face to face with Meldreg's tomb after she traverses through the labyrinth. Quickly, she sounded the bell as an eerie, haunting toll echoed through the labyrinth's stone walls. As the echoes died down, tremors shook the tomb, cracks forking out around the dust-ridden prison of the fallen prince. Then, finally, a forceful hand burst out of the coffin as the prince emerges from his death with fury in his eyes. Immediately, he assaults the rogue with questions, only for him to realize that he was resurrected far too long than what he had envisioned. However, Meldreg focuses his mind, and agrees with the rogue to defeat Warros. But, he would need her help to go back to the forgotten fortress in order to rally the ghosts of his fallen brethren.
Though Meldreg was also known as a monster in his own right, it was often a last ditch hope that it would take a monster to defeat one.
Denric Azec
The Matchmaker
Status: Taken A
Name of Story: The Tug of Strings
Setting: The medieval kingdom of Aruth
Lore Size: Small - Expansive
Plot: The king of Aruth was at his wits' end. His only child and daughter, the princess, refused every last suitor sent from the powerful neighboring nations, and frankly, he feared that it would have an effect on the trade relations Aruth would have with their allies. He could never read his daughter's preference for a groom, no matter how much he tried to pry into her private life. So, the king turned to the obscure magical arts as he called for the Matchmakers, a guild of mages who could see a person's relationship with others through 'strings'. The thicker, more vibrant the strings that connected one person to another, the stronger the feelings were. As such, the matchmakers used their gifts to cause their clients to fall in love with a specified individual, tracking the behavior of their strings to check what causes the person to swoon.
As such, the guild sent one of their young apprentice matchmakers to the king who promised to pay a hefty amount of gold should the matchmaker be successful in making the princess accept a royal suitor. With his guild's fame, finance, and, of course, his promotion on the line, Denric accepted the offer as he went off to meet with the princess.
He was so ready, so confident in his skills to see and manipulate his client, but upon seeing the woman, he got the shock of his life. He couldn't see one single string which connected her to another person-- not even to her father or to anyone in the castle. He just... couldn't see her strings! He could see the king's, the knights', and even the maids', but not hers!
But, as time went by, the more he got to know her, Denric made a terrible mistake. As he looked down on his own chest, he saw his own string reaching out to the princess, and right there and then, he feared for his career. It was a mortal sin for a matchmaker to fall for his client, but how could something that feels so good be so wrong?
A dark cloud looms over the horizon for Denric and the princess as the mysteries surrounding the nobles become known-- why the princess' strings do not appear to Denric, why the nations are so adamant in marrying the princess, and why, of all the skilled matchmakers, would the guild send a mere rookie for the important tasks.
