[Probably not my best intro but here goes.]
Magnolia, a town filled with magic. One guild in particular was known far and wide. That guild was called Fairy Tail. Currently a young girl was heading in the direction of the guild hall. She was a lightning mage with a fiery temper if you pissed her off. The most likely way to do that was hurt her friends. Kit Stone did not take kindly to those who picked on others. Probably one of the reasons she disliked how dark guilds ran.
She sighed and fixed the bandana tied around her forehead before shoving open the doors to the guild. She glanced around at the chaos going on and smiled. She could see herself fitting in fine. Assuming the red haired, green eyed girl could make any friends. She scanned the room for the guild master and was a little surprised to see a small old man was him.
"Uh, I'd like to join the guild. I've travelled a long way to join a group that sees its members are family and not as tools." she said bowing her head to dodge a flying bar stool someone had thrown. Makarov nodded at her and got her guild emblem put on. She chose to have it on her right collar bone in dark blue.
Young Gray sat at one of the table drinking along with a few fellow guild mates. He had been through a lot the past few years and it wasn’t surprising that the young man was still as bold and bash as he was before. Comments of ‘how did you not change’ or ‘why haven’t we seen improvement in your skills’. It’s not surprising that people couldn’t tell the difference in Gray’s personality that his magic had improved. He worked hard, trained hard and even he felt improved.
The door opened, just like any other day, except it wasn’t a guild member who entered, his dark eyes flicked up to the door to observe the young girl who had walked in. Interesting, a new girl. He shrugged to himself before the door kicked open again.
“GRAY!” The voice echoed through the guild as Natsu stormed in. “You stole my last job.”
Gray leaned back against the chair. “I didn’t steal your job. You didn’t take the paper. That’s your fault.” It wasn’t long before a brawl broke between the two boys and in this, Gray had stripped down without thinking to his underwear activating his magic.
Kit raised an eyebrow at the two fighting teens. Though she turned a bit red seeing one of them had stripped to their boxers. Just what was he thinking and did he know that he wasn't alone right now. She attempted to stay out of it until she was nearly hit by a chunk of ice and a fire ball.
Lightning cracked in her hands as she charged up her own magic. A few surprised whispers of 'The newbie's going to fight?' and 'She has the same magic as Makarov's grandson?!' flew around. Kit walked over and lightly zapped both boys as she brought her fists down on both their heads. "You're supposed to be guild mates. Guild mates are family so quit fighting or you'll get more than just a little tickle." she snapped angrily at them though she kept her gaze away from Gray for the time being, "And put some pants on ice boy!"
The guild hall continued on its own functionality as the boys went at it in the middle of the guild. “Damnit Natsu!” Gray snapped as he formed an ice shield and blocked Natsu’s flaming kick. “Ice Make: Hammer!” He cried forming a hammer out of ice and laying a large swing on Natsu’s pink head cracking it into pieces as Natsu’s yelled in pain. It was not surprise to find Gray smirking as Natsu fell to the ground holding his head and explaining something about how it wasn’t fair and this and that.
Gray was happy until he felt electricity running through his body. The guild hall filled with the screams of the two young men before they fell to their knees. Luckily she didn’t have it last long before she let them fall to the ground. Gray was the first one up, her comment about his clothes made him jump and he quickly pulled them back on. “What’s the big idea? Have you met a family who doesn’t fight?” Natsu was still rolling on the ground, the mix of his ice and her electricity was enough to send the poor guy into spinning in circles muttering something about his head. “Doesn’t matter.” He said down to Natsu as he slid his hands into the pockets. “It’s not like we’re doing in damage into the head of yours. There’s nothing there.” He dodged kick coming from Natsu with a smirk.
Kit watched as the two went at it even after she had zapped them. The ice-make user had a point in that she'd never seen a family who didn't fight. She looked away when he redressed out of courtesy for the man. He didn't seem to notice that had happened until she spoke up. She shoved her own hands into her pockets as well. This was one interesting guild if they fought each other like this.
Fire and ice. Those two elements didn't mix well. She glanced at the pink haired guy still rolling on the floor. She hadn't used enough of her magic to cause any lasting damage. It was more like when you rub your socked feet on the carpet and touch the metal doorknob. She then looked over at Gray a moment. His ice-make was pretty impressive. On top of that he had recovered from her zap faster than the other guy. "Alright you got me there. I haven't met a family that doesn't fight." she said turning to walk towards the job board and scan the listings. A lot of the jobs weren't solo from the looks of it. "Looks like this isn't my day... No solo jobs." she muttered to herself.
