Shinji: i dont expect you to understand, i was suprised that data even decided to help. But me defeating kirina would keep the EDB together, and prevent most future power stuggles within the group. It would solidify my place in the EDB until i die.

Shinji: ive given myself a limit, though. I plan to leave the EDB in ten years, if i can finish this war by then. Theyll start to get suspicious if they see that i dont age as quickly as everyone else.

Shinji: they see me as just a normal human being, they dont see us how we see us. If they realize my appearance asbt changed from stressing, it could raise some questions. As far as deception, i highly dislike that word, i tend to stay as far away from it as possible.
