I'm still multitasking like all fuck and this has been a stressful day, but I figured it was high time I replied to all of this.
Seme/uke is generally terminology reserved for yaoi, yeah, but if
@Dynamo Frokane is using it in the way I think he is then me and him are the same on that matter;
if he's using it the way I think he is.
@tsukune, you and Gowi have used the same gif in this thread now; are you guys starting a trend?
Why do we need to use programming when good old-fashioned charisma and awesomeness can turn people into puppets, tsukune?
As for the discussion that
@NekoMizu,
@Pudding, and tsukune were having concerning reading/novels/manga, I'm also the type who prioritizes story and characters (and aesthetic) to be the determining factor for what medium I'll use to observe fiction, though admittedly I don't pick up many books; I don't really have the time to read much and their lack of visuals/music sometimes kills my interest. On the other hand things such as anime or manga can never capture the full detail of a complex and intricate narrative. This is actually one of the reasons that discussion has gone on between me and a few people about turning my project into a series of visual novels rather than a series of light novels; I feel that visual novels get the best of both worlds and I feel like no other medium could actually do my work justice.
I wish I'd been able to respond to this sooner,
@Gowi, but hopefully the situation with you and your dad ends up working out. It does sound like a nasty situation and admittedly I can relate to it to an extent but more in the position of your father rather than yourself; I'm not usually the type of person who makes a big deal out of it when my health is bad, usually because no one either takes me seriously or can help anyway. At any rate, I spent a few years living with my own dad before he passed away in a house fire; he was essentially the family member I was closest to and the divorce between my parents kept me mostly separated from him except the weekends until then. All the best with the move and with his health.
Also,
@CrazyShadowy, dat gibberish... xD
