Witches live in secret across the world, each claiming territories since the great divide in their covens. Now most witches are solitary or remain in small groups. The current generation of witches have flocked to Tokyo Japan, disguised as students, with the intention to receive the greatest power any one witch could obtain.

Allo all. So for this rp, you will be either playing a Witch, a familiar to a witch, or a witch hunter/gifted. (If you'd rather play as a monster pm me) Each witch is up against the other witches to essentially either be the last one standing, or at least secure Tokyo as her territory. By day they disguise themselves as simple students, and go out at night to try and find and battle other witches, luring them out with chaos or others of the sorts.

Most Humans are blind to magic in modern times, mystical creatures, most of the witch's powers and their familiars, and other supernatural occurrences are rarely seen by them. However certain straight forward things such as spewing fire can be seen, as well as destructive aftermaths. Due to this, all witches have the ability to lock the world around them in space/time, that only supernatural things such as monsters and witches are immune to such a freezing affect. Also, many witches have the ability to fix any sort of structural damage in the time freeze zone

Humans that can see and are immune to the time-freeze effect are known as the gifted. Gifted are passed down through generations, not only capable of seeing the supernatural and magical elements most mortals cannot see, but are highly resistant to various supernatural affects such as soul-stealing/spiritual assaults, psychics, etc. They can also use magic items unlike other mortals, though they cannot make them. Many gifted have been assigned as witch hunters, trained mercenaries hired by the UN to hunt down and kill or imprison witches and other supernatural creatures.

Witches are immortal beings with a high affinity to magic and the arcane. All witches are female, and resemble young or old female humans, though they may have some unnatural features such as glowing eyes, extremely pale skin, or other such features. Witches can learn both generic magic from spell books, as well as being born with a specific and unique magic (Some kind of theme or something like for example, clockwork styled magic powers) Generic magic includes typical witchcraft items such as a crystal ball and flying broom, and being able to summon familiars or make sacrifical rites to demons. Being immortal they do not need to worry about growing old, and they can only be killed if they are completely destroyed (Such as being crushed by a house) That being said, the achilles heel to witches is water, which if douses, will melt them WOZ style. Only relatively fresh water (or liquids that are still relatively water such as salt water or holy water) can liquadate them, all it takes is a single splash, however other liquids such as oils or liquids that aren't entirely or mostly water such as juices, saliva, etc will have no effect.

Familiars are entities either created or enslaved by witches to serve her. Enslaved Familiars were pre-existing creatures that have become binded as familiars either against their will or accepted, while created familiars could be something like a construct or a creature that while resembles something real like a cat, is actually entirely made of sentient magic. Enslaved familiars can be anything from a normal human to a dragon, non-magical familiars (such as, again, humans) can be slightly augmented with magic. Familiars are usually chosen or created at random once a witch tries to summon one for their first time.

Magic is generally very vague, allowing people to come up with their own styles and forms, and sub-rules for their own specific rules. Many witches often form contracts with demonic beings for increased power in exchange for some type of sacrifice. Their are also anti-magic items and weapons hunters may have access to, such as anti-magic bullets.

Each witch should have one familiar, for those that wants to be one's familiar pm them or discuss it in the OOC, Ideally we should have 5 witches, 5 familiars, any extras will be gifted humans and etc.
