@Brithwyr Go with individual but write in detail about the religion in your characters background. Also remember to add any other important individuals to your character sheet (similarly what Klomster has done with the steel fist).
There's a reason Claus is getting out of there ASAP :P
I'm gonna have to make a follow up post, but first someone else should post. I guess i should weave it into my next collab, which i think needs to be with Andrew.
I think it'd be very interesting for Lana to meet Claus. Though I think it will probably involve him getting slapped at some point xD
As for my doings this cycle, I think alongside collabing with Phoenix I shall look at continuing to flesh out Lana's fledgling order of mages. So they can get oppressed and killed by the new religious fanatics.
@Ellri Any religious types would likely view her as something of a target. Though bear in mind most of Nyhem is very accepting of mages (at least in comparison to the rest of Formaroth). This is the status that mages have across the various different kingdoms:
Alenius, being merit based society, accepts Mages with respect because, to be frank, they can do much that mundanes can't. Thus have considerable merit.
Well knowing Duncan he will want to increase his control over everything. Including the church. He could see Lycaon as a possible way to gain control in the church, believing he will be easy to control. This way Lycaon can get the authority he needs within his religious order and then turn on Duncan when he needs to.
Another idea is that he could try to oppose the pro-mage laws Lana is getting passed. It would take a lot of time to get the largely mage friendly people of Nyhem around to an anti-mage viewpoint, but there are bound to be a few die-hard haters in the population that one could start with.
How that would go down with Duncan is another question entirely, so probably start the anti-mage movement with care and careful planning...
