Hello there, and welcome to the Blackfield Asylum. Set in the vast wastelands somewhere in the United States of America, it is the asylum with the least security and qualified staff there is. However, it's actual purpose is not to cure its inmates, but to keep those freaks away from the streets where they could harm other people. With basically, five guards to only keep the entrance and the backyard protected, the inmates are free to do whatever they want as long as killing is not involved.

Simple rules:
-No Godmodding. You keep your character with you and I'll keep mine with mine.
-No over-the-edge scenes. Gore and violence allowed, romance too, but the rest fade it out and go at it in PMs.
-If a fight engages, YOU take care of it, don't call for me if I'm not in the fight. If it gets too long and if you fight over who wins, I'll settle a winner.
-Over-powered characters (like those who can't be killed) are excluded, and once you are killed, there's no way back.
-Don't banish and try to be a constant poster.

One more thing, Doctors are NPCs, you can use them whichever way you want as well as the guards. But the manager of the asylum and the head doctor is my character, so no control over him.

Name: Dr. Faustus.
Age: 43.

Personality: He's a very mysterious person, with a cocky and somewhat disturbing personality. He loves to annoy others and mock his patients, even though he looks like yet another patient. Even though he looks like a mean person, he's actually quite nice...but has changed since his wife passed away.
Background Info: Twenty years before entering the asylum, William Faustus had married a fellow university partner on his way to become a neuro-surgeon. With his studies complete, years later, he graduated and decided to put his work in practice. One sad night, on his 33rd birthday and his 10th anniversary with his wife, she was killed by an insane lunatic who was wandering down the streets after having escaped a local asylum. Filled with anger and wrath, he decided to open a torture chamber disguised as an actual asylum, the BlackField Asylum. Inside there, he went a little crazy after having executed most patients that entered there. With his own image of a monster, he performed self-surgery on his face and decided to implant a bear trap on his mouth, attaching nerves to the lower part of it. Now, a true creature of fear, he is feared by both doctors and inmates alike.

Weapons of choice: He usually carries around a pair of scalpels, but his bear trap is his most important weapon.

Powers and Weaknesses: No abnormal powers, but his only weakness is the fact that he usually rages for everything.

Personality: Yuri is a really shy teen with lots of self-trust issues and who doesn't talk to anyone because she is really affraid they'll make fun of her. However, she's really sweet and loving, and that can be seen when she is caught off guard or when watched without her noticing it.
Background: Yuri was raised by a czech family who hit her all the time, both her mother and his alcholic father. So, when she turned ten, she developed an imaginary friend who was exactly the opposite of her: cruel, evil, merciless and extremely violent. Her parents didn't approve of her behaviour: running around the house, breaking everything and blaming it on her imaginary friends. That even caused her to get even more beaten to the point of almost entering a coma. Luckily, she managed to escape her house and wander down the streets. It seemed her imaginary friend was actually a manifestation of her telekinetic powers and all the anger she had accumulated through the years. After being found by a police officer robbing a market for food, she was sent to the asylum.
Reason why sent: She escaped her family and used her powers to rob a supermarket.
Weapons of choice: None, she is scared of them.
Relationships within the Asylum: None.
Powers and Weaknesses: Her imaginary friend who is an actual entity, but she is simply invisible to others, and her telekinetic powers. Her lack of self-confidence and low self-esteem is a huge weakness.

Sexual Orientation: It is believed that he is straight but his orientation does not come up in questions.
Appearance:
Standing at 6'1 and roughly 160lbs he has a rather slender but athletic build. Underneath the mask is up to some debate, his actual never been determined.

Personality: A severe manic man. He tends to be quiet and reserved but certain things upset him, and or excite him. He pursues his whims with a tenacity that would make even the devil sweat. He like many others in the asylum, is off base. Lost in the idea that reality is wrong existence is wrong, he must restore order.

Background Info:The masked man was incarcerated after being found tied to several missing people. The charges would not have stuck, if he had not kept pieces....Stating the reason for keeping them as to ensure that time wasn't wasted. In the course of the investigation bodies where found butchered, organs removed or attatched where they did not belong, as if a childish surgeon was playing games in these bodies. In addition the only reason these bodies where found was due to the messages upon their hiding spots, as if to draw attention to the near perfect crimes?
Azure was confronted in a normal good cop bad cop scenario, and maintained his composure until they had attempted to take his mask. Once removed hey where greeted with his hidden nature, overpowering the two men he *Censored* followed up by *Censor* the corpses leaving their blood to pool beneath them.
He sat in the corner of the room wearing his mask once more, humming to himself the moonlight sonata.
Reason why sent: A facility was needed to hold him.
Weapons of choice: His bare hands.

Powers and weaknesses:
Abnormal strength and speed, accompanied with the horrific ability of hiding any trace of himself (He not only has no presence when you speak to him, but he causes distortion on recording devices as well.)

Weakness he has a wretched habit of self mutilation, stating the blood is what ties him to the world. Those that are alert will notice the distinct smell of blood when he is about. He also seems to avoid the day, and light in general. "Exposure to the falsehood....It is painful."

Name: Austin and Damian Ashton

Age: 18

Appearance:

Personality: Austin is relatively shy, and generally very kind. He isn't naïve or innocent because of what he has seen even when not in control. Even then, people easily can take advantage of him. He hates what his other person has done, and tends to be very fearful. He refuses to fight anyone. Damian on the other hand, is a completely opposite. He is sadistic, taking joy in what he has done to others. He is rude and temperamental. Anger him, and he wouldn't hesitate to shove ice through your chest. He will take up any excuse to fight, and often takes it too far with his actions, having no restraint what so ever.

Background Info: Austin's parents always knew something was wrong with Austin as soon as he was born. His body temperature was lower then normal, and would have conditions of a fever when he was brought up to the normal temperature. When no ill affects of his body temperature was found, they moved on with life. His life seemed relatively normal, his parents that were always gone never noticing the internal war that was going on inside his head. One day at school, the boy snapped. He couldn't handle himself anymore, Damian wasn't satisfied with just fighting. He needed more. Damian broke free, and murdered nearly the whole class, brutally killing them with the ice they had gained control of. Not knowing what to do with them, they were sent to the asylum.

Powers and weaknesses: Control and creation of ice. His weaknesses are heat, and the constant argument inside his head, no matter who was in control at the time.

Personality: Taeko was extremely protective of her older brother and put his life before hers, she was also madly in love with him as well, she loved him to a point that she would physical harm others that called him cute or handsome, this went on till she went into the same high school as her older brother, during that time she tried to always be close to her brother and never let him out of her sight, she soon moved on from just hitting girls that called her brother handsome to murdering them violently, she also has a love for seeing gore.

Background Info: Taeko's parents both killed each other, when she was eight, afterwards her older brother took care of her and made sure nothing happened to her, at that moment she found out how much she really loved her older brother, while she was growing up and her brother would get closer to other girls, Taeko would beat up girls that found her brother attractive, she would beat them into a bloody pulp without any regrets. But she soon moved up from just beating up the girls, she started to kill some of the other female students one by one, one night when she came home from killing another classmate she noticed sounds coming from her brothers room.

Instead of knocking on the door Taeko kicked down the door to see her brother with another girl, the sight she saw caused her to flip out and go into a rage. Taeko grabbed the nearest object and kill both her brother and the girl, afterwards Taeko went into a deranged laugh. After murdering her brother she burned down her own home and stopped going to school, but she didn't stop murdering her old classmates, she had a mission to kill every girl in her class. when she killed a large majority of the girls in her old class she drawn the police's eye and during the next murder, the police caught her and arrested her, but instead of sending her to prison they sent her to Blackfield when she told them why she murdered so many of her female classmates.

Personality
A charmer by nature, Erik Dahlem is a snake, sly and crafty. He is a compulsive liar, and is hardly truthful. The male is not bothered by his past, or what he has done. His crimes are simply games, and obviously the other’s did not win in the game and paid for it. He does not feel the guilt and remorse a normal person would, and would gladly do it again and again. As a teen he was a rather promiscuous boy, a new girlfriend ever so often and that one male he convinced to come over. Being put in this asylum isn’t doing anything for him as he hates the doctors and therapists with every ounce in his body. He despises the way they think they can worm into his head and the way the label him.
Background Info
Dahlem was born to a single mother, his father just a one night stand that ended with a broken condom and an unwanted pregnancy. He grew up in his mother’s grandparent’s house, her parents supporting them both. His grandfather tried to toughen him up, one of those men who think the best way to bring up a child is to constantly hit and not trying to talk sense into the boy if he did something wrong. His mother was constantly in and out of the house with work or a guy. The only person there for him really was the woman he called grandmother. Even still, Erik was distant with her, treated her kindly from a far. He, like every young teenager, began underage drinking at a young age at a high school party he was invited to. Like mentioned before, Erik was rather promiscuous and his first killing was during a round of sex when he cut off the girl’s air supply by strangling her in ‘the heat of the moment’.

His powers are more of a mental thing, really, with witty charm and a way with words. His lies can seem so real and convincing.

His weaknesses are those who seem to care, and it just shoves him over the edge. He doesn't want them to care, he doesn't want their feelings. He doesn't need anyone.

Name: Alexander "Mr.Steel" Price

Personality: Mr.Steel is more or less all about respect, you respect him and he will give the same to you in return. But if you disrespect him you may find yourself on the wrong side of a very rage driven man. Suffering from not only paranoia and rage issues that have long plagued him in his life, Steel is incredibly short fused and most times it does not take much to set him off. But even with these personality conflictions he is also dependable and when he says he is going to do something he will do it, he is also more understanding then most and does not believe in being a dick just because he can. However nice he is capable of being though is mute if you get on his bad side, and once you are there to him you are enemy number one and he will get you one way or another. Mr.Steel is also very intelligent and has a high I.Q. that has served him well in his life, he is a born tactician and enjoys messing with people when the opportunity presents itself. All an all if your his friend you have a valuable ally, and if your his enemy then your life is in danger.

Background Info:

Reason why sent: Price was born into a life of sexual favors and drugs right off the back, his mother was a crack whore and his father he never truly knew and the guesses on who it was in the end was too many to count. From the moment Price could think for himself he was more often then not on his own, his mother did not give a care for him and often called him a bastard because he looked just like his father. Often when his mother was not strung out on drugs she was at home berating him and beating him with a leather belt for no other reason then that he existed. Price was only ten when he committed his first murder and that victim in the end was his own mother, not being able to take her abuse anymore he tied her to her own bed while she was in a drugged daze and slit her throat with a large combat knife. From that moment on Price was no longer right in the head, after his mothers death by his hand he took too the streets and never looked back. Seeming his mother was a worthless whore her murder was never investigated so in the end Price got away with the murder with no prosecution. Price took to the streets pretty well in the end, and by time he was fifteen he had committed three more murders, one because he hated the man and the other two because he had found a blood lust that was quickly becoming unquenchable.

By time Price was eighteen he joined the Army, his blood lust aching for the chance to kill more people, in his mind this way he would not risk going to prison for the rest of his life and better yet he would be ordered to kill which suited his dark personality. Price was in the Marines for over twenty years, and no one truly knew of his lust for the kill, often cloaked by the fact that he was fearless in a combat zone and more often then not saved the lives of his comrades by efficiently killing the enemy before they could kill them first. His mindset and his ability earned him the nickname Mr.Steele which meant he was hard like steel and just as cold an no one could bend or break him. His military career however ended when he was 39 after he killed his entire squad for reasons that are still unknown until this day. Justice was swift and before Price knew it he was facing the death penalty for his actions, however given his past he was classified as insane and was sent to an Asylum where he would spend the rest of his life with no chance of ever breathing the fresh air outside those walls again.

Reason why sent: Suffers from paranoia and rage problems which has caused him to murder at least fifteen people that are known of and possibly others that have never been identified.

His only weapon is a combat knife which is larger then normal combat knives at about seven to eight inches, made of surgical steel

Powers and weaknesses: Price has but one power and that involves his special blade which is always on his body, with his blade he is able to swipe the air and at certain distances the blade can still cut you even if it has not touched you. Besides this he does have a strength and agility that some might consider inhuman. His weakness is the lost of his blade, if he loses his blade he loses the half of the deadly edge he has in fights. Not to mention that if he lost his blade then this would drive him into a frenzy, no one truly knows why he is so attached to it.

I think it is an insult to all gamers to not know a badass such a Jack Krauser...either your dose of Resident Evil is not too high, or you haven't played the greatest horror-survival of all time. ;) And he's perfect! You know...inside my crazy head...it'd be funny if such a sweet and shy girl interacted with a killer and a man of war such as Mr. Steel. Hehe...gotta' sleep now.
